These guys are honest, friendly an fair. My only wish is they were open on Saturdays Other than that great service. I will be back for any other repairs needed. No wonder they have great reviews.

*Charged more than they quoted*scratched my drivers door down to the metal and all they had to say was well it was outside two nights.*Told me to come by after work yet when I did they said you gotta come back the boss left. So they scratched my car and wasted my time.*The guy at the counter had a nasty attitude.Avoid at all costs.

Performed evac and charge on my AC and got my car back in one day. So honest and didn’t try to sell me something I didn’t need. They came highly recommended to me, and I definitely would like to pass that recommendation to you.

Heustis is my go to place when it comes to all things car! As a woman coming in alone, most mechanic places can be intimidating. We dont usually know exactly what we need done to our vehicles or what the proper price should be. Going to Heustis I always feel they are being honest and sincere with me and just want to help. If I could give more then 5 stars I would!

Our car had the brake system indicator light on the dashboard go off, a potential problem you do not ignore. But when I went to drop the car off the next morning, no warning lights or anything. The folks at Heustis still took a look and, more to the point, didnt try to sell us on any repairs we didnt need. Thats how you earn repeat business.

Man they are the only people I ever take my car to. They are honest, polite, and always take care of the problem. I would trust them to do anything with my cars. Theyve done major work for me before, and small things too. Once my heat was out. They could have charged me whatever they wanted and told me what ever the wanted. It was a loose wire and the charged me $15. That was the moment I knew I had found a good mechanic.

I had a very friendly service, they took care for everything that they could, they found some really big issues with my car and they didnt solve them because they havent the specialization required, thats what they told me and they lead me with services from dealership, they were very helpful with all the recommendations and tips.

Mr Heustis and his team are excellent mechanics and I am always greeted with a smile. I have had numerous repairs and maintenance done there, and I always receive a fair price for the work done. I highly recommend.

This is the first mechanic that Ive gone to that has not tried to rip me off or try to tell me a bunch of things that were wrong with my truck that were not. I went there because I had an issue with a lot of oil being lost. I did a lot of research on this matter and I determined what I thought the issue to be. I dropped my truck off told them what was going on and let it lie. The next day my truck was ready and they told me exactly the issue that I thought it was and they suggested some other things that it could be if the first fix does not work. They seem like good people that work there. They seem like honest hard-working blue-collar people men that arent trying to rip people off. I will take my truck there and any other car there as long as I live in Louisville. I suggest anyone to bring their car there. They are busy but they are efficient and they will get the job done or at least be honest with you so you can make your own decisions. Judging from my experience I would not believe the one-star reviews. That person seems like a hater or a troll. Probably the competition that likes to rip people off.

I stopped in here today after my driver side windshield wiper stopped working because I wasn’t sure what to do or what it might be… And they fixed it in a matter of minutes. Very nice and kind. I’ll definitely stop by here next time I have something go wrong with my car!

I drive 33 miles to have my cars serviced at Heustis Service Center. They do excellent work. If they cant fix it they tell you. They dont take advantage of people by finding unnecessary repairs. They explain the problem and what they have to do to fix it. Very reputable people.

I would like to add to the Laura Baker, Caroline Hardesty comment. This lady has harassed multiple of my Jimmy Johns locations and scolded my employees calling them low lives. I personally know an employee who works at Heustis. Ive taken my car there twice so far and they are great. This is coming from someone who builds cars as a hobby. Sometimes I do not have time to do my own work anymore or my garage is occupied.... and when I need a quick fix I take it to them. They get it done same day and are very fair.Caroline, you need to stop harassing local businesses and other business owners employees. My employees are sick of it as well, especially when you vandalized my store on Baxter Ave.

I bring both of my cars here. Paul has given me great advice and instruction with the maintenance of my vehicles. Prices are fair and you do not feel like you are getting ripped off. I always have a positive experience with Heustis! Dont hesitate to bring your vehicle here!

I took my car in for an oil leak and when they couldnt figure out the specific location of the leak, without taking apart the car so I couldnt drive it, they were upfront and honest about it. I was told, showed where they saw oil leaking, and quoted pricing for two estimated causes of the oil leak. There was no pressure to make a decision to do either. They are very courteous and answered my questions completely. When I decided to do neither since exact cause couldnt be determined and one of the estimates was more than what my car is worth they treated me with respect. I would recommend them to anyone. Honest, friendly, respectful, and helpful!

In contrast to what another reviewer wrote - Heustis is one of the very few repair places that does NOT make women (or non-car-savvy men) feel like idiots or try to baffle them with BS and upsell extras. They are straight shooters and you can rely on what they tell you.

They got me in fast, they didnt try to make me pay for things I didnt need and they got the problem fixed. Had taken my car originally to Pep boys who said $800 to fix my car and these guys did the same work for $400.
