I want to acknowledge Karyn Pages hard work on our behalf.We had some hiccups with delivery and delays on our appliances. Mostly related to the manufacturer. She worked to get us replacement models without our prompting and kept us in the loop throughout the process. She was always responsive to my e-mails and phone calls.When a rebate difficulty arose, she worked to remedy the situation.I sincerely appreciate her effort.

When we needed a refrigerator, we bought local for all of the right reasons, including the expectation of better service. We had issues with the appliance from the start, which was not Bonnycastle’s fault. Servicing did not correct the issue. When we asked for their help requesting a replacement, we were not treated like we hoped. Days, sometimes a week before call backs, and when we did hear from them we got a lot of runaround. We had to sidestep BC and go direct to the manufacturer ourselves to request a replacement. In the end, the manufacturer issued a replacement and BC delivered it quickly. I wouldn’t go so far as to say not to use BC, but be prepared to take matters into your own hands if you have issues.

They were very helpful and knowledgeable. I was not impressed with the installer. He seemed unable to turn the water off, something we were able to do. He stated the reason he didnt want to install the dishwasher was because of liability. Updated note: Bonnycastle Appliances did get an installer to hook up the dishwasher.

I had a great experience with Bonnycastle Appliances. I ordered a refrigerator through Paul McDonald that was back ordered and he was very kind and patient with me as I would call in for updates on arrival time. I live on the THIRD floor with *no elevator* and the 2 delivery men didnt complain at all and were very nice. (I believe one was named Joe and I didnt catch the other) HIGHLY recommend Bonnycastle Appliances

I had been looking forward to come here for 2 months to buy appliances for a home I bought. The store was nice, clean, easy to find and easy to get to. Im pretty upset because I was in the store for 10 minutes before I was acknowledged. The gentleman that ended up helping me was nice but treated me like the stuff I was looking at was way out of my price range (Yes, I was dressed down but I drove 40 minutes, spur of the moment.) After I figured that out, I told him my budget was way less than it actually was because I decided I wasnt going to buy. I thought he was pretty savvy on the appliances until I got home and researched some of the products. I really liked that he pointed out a refrigerator I liked didnt have the door bins like most others do. Even though I had looked at it and noticed, I didnt realize it until he said something. Come to find out Bosch does sell counter depth side-by-side refrigerators. Sorry to waste your time.

When our usual appliance store closed, Bonnycastle was recommended to us, and what a great recommendation. My first experience was with Jason, with whom I had carried on a lengthy email conversation. He answered all my questions immediately. When my husband and I entered the pristine and professionally arranged store, Jason showed us the appliances we had discussed in emails, and we purchased those suggested. I thought things could not get any better until yesterday when our one LONE installer arrived - Lee Hamblin with Empire Appliances. Lee worked diligently, for over 4 hours, giving us beautiful results. His precision, (including trimming a cabinet for the fridge to fit) knowledge of the product and courtesy were all so appreciated. Oh, and did I mention, I think he left the kitchen cleaner than when he arrived.

Check them out. We have learned to trust them because they provide good information & will be as honest as possible. We always check prices. They give you the choice of paying for just the appliance or appliance plus paying for delivery (thus allowing you to pick up the appliance). Other stores include delivery charges in their prices but call it free delivery.

Disappointed. A washing machine purchased just weeks ago stopped working mid cycle with a load of towels. Called and was told to turn off main circuit breaker and wait ten minutes because the machines get stuck. Seriously? What new appliance requires this? A defective one.

UPDATE 1/6/19: I received an email from Bonnycastle threatening legal action against me because of this review. The online review platform was created to let customers post their experiences with businesses - both good and bad - and to hold companies accountable for their services and products. If Bonnycastle is not happy with what I have to say, then they should not have treated my family in the manner that they have, charged us $7500 up front, never finished their installation, never delivered the products paid for, and then said we could exchange them only to change their mind. Two months after calling and emailing them the only response I receive is a threat?UPDATE 12/31/18: Things are worse with Bonnycastle and I want to save other potential buyers their money and stress. We have had to seek help with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and also file a dispute with our credit card company. The owner of Bonnycastle lied directly to the BBB about the events that took place regarding the installation of our appliances in order to try and avoid helping us, but thankfully I kept every email, text message, phone record, and have outdoor security cameras that proved multiple times he was incorrect. We also had to file a FRAUD complaint with our credit card because we paid for a dishwasher that was NEVER installed or delivered for 2 months now. This is in addition to the installation that they NEVER completed, leaving our cabinets in complete disarray with holes everywhere, trim pieces falling off, and our microwave rattling out of place when turned on.UPDATE 12/2/18: I wanted to update my post that I have done everything in my power to reach my salesperson and the owner of this business, but since I paid our entire bill up front, they act as if we do not exist. This is the 4th home weve built/ordered kitchen appliances using Bonnycastle and I trusted them to take care of us (although we now realize every other time was through a huge homebuilder and we are just average customers apparently). Here are pictures of our current installation with holes everywhere, the trim kit isnt attached at all, the microwave is not mounted properly and rattles all over the places, and we paid and NEVER even received our dishwasher. This is the worst service a company could ever give to a customer. Would they treat their own families this way?ORIGINAL POST: We ordered $7500 for 4 new kitchen appliances, paid the full amount up front, had only 3 them installed, and came home to find multiples holes, our trim kit falling off, and our microwave not installed correctly, and our dishwasher nowhere to be found. I called Paul Kinzer (our salesman) right away and again the next day for 15 mins total. Our discussions revolved around exchanging them for the same GE Cafe line but different models that would fit better, etc. He said that wouldnt be a problem, and even gave me model numbers to look at. I apologized profusely for the trouble and told him I would get back to him after looking up his recommendations. After getting prices, I immediately responded and said we were good to go. I waited multiple days and when I heard nothing, I emailed him to check in again. He responded back that he could order our new ones but the old ones could now not be returned. Completely confused, I called Paul right away to find out what he meant after our discussions for the past week. He said his GE rep wasnt sure if they would take them back even if we were still buying GE appliances afterwards. I explained to Paul that he had already told me we could exchange the 3 already delivered and we were never told they couldnt be exchanged. We left our conversation that he is going to check again with GE, but I explained again to Paul that I did not purchase from GE - I purchased from Bonnycastle - and they have a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee plainly posted. I hope I can update this post to a positive experience soon, but right now we are highly disappointed after using Bonnycastle for years and years.
