Non-favorable experience.Received notification that online order was ready for pick up. Nope.Items were not at the desk - which was understaffed. Associate told me I was welcome to find the items by myself.Was able to get limited help from the few associates working in the store to locate items - back at the desk to check out, was told that the one non-found item was “likely” at the opposite end of the store and I was welcome to go look.Made it easy for them - returned all items, headed to Lowe’s.No customer focus at all.

Went here for electrical and plumbing supplies for a big job; I found all of exactly what I needed. The staff here is awesome and always helped point me in the right direction when I couldn’t locate what I needed. I found amazing deals on security camera systems; bought a $300 system that was on clearance for $97. I would recommend this Home Depot over other similar stores in the area.
Toss up on whom we like more between them and Lowes, just depends on what were looking for.
The web site, is great Im looking for a refrigerator the one I wanted was out of stock. But later it sent me an email that it was back in stock and it gave me three options to choose from which were all great I havent made my decision yet., but when I do I will buy at Home Depot.

I went in here with my husband looking for a box fan for my bedroom. Even though it was the end of December two gentlemen still took the time to do a thorough search. They found one all the way at the top still on a palate and wrapped up. I felt bad and didnt want to put them out but they insisted it was no problem. It was so cool watching them get it down. Best part was it was $34! I thought surely it would be $40. Thank you to Jay and Dre for 5 star service! They had great energy and worked as a team the whole time. Thanks again fellas, I slept like a baby last night thanks to your efforts :)

I recently purchased an oven and the manufacturer messed up the order. My wife & I were without an oven in our new home. George & Talia worked tirelessly to help us get an oven. They provided a store model and comped a rental van so I could take it home. This team is fantastic, they love to delight their customers. The gentlemen who run the rental department are unbelievably helpful and kind as well. I’m a lifelong fan/customer!

Wow, went to buy 1 item that is a tool. A matter of fact a large tool in comparison and I knew according to the website that it was to be in aisle 11 bay 5. Funny, not there but aisle 13 and at the very top. So, the representative has 3 people in the entire tool department and needed to help the 2 people in front of me. Fine perfect! An hour later, still waiting on the rep and now he has helped 6 other people. No other people to help. Now. Lowes. The tool is where they say it is and amazingly I was in and out in 5 minutes. I have not been a Lowes shopper but they got an extra 50.00 out of me on the same tool and thanks to Home Depots mistakes, Lowes just got another a lot more money out of me for closet organizers. Cancel my HD Credit Account Please as Lowes provided what I wanted with the entire experience. So, the best part was contacting the store to make my complaint and I basically got a version of Ben Stein (without any humor) that basically didnt care about the experience. Well, I guess I now know where Santa will be shopping this year and I know where he will not waste anymore of his time. Thanks for the waste of over an hour to have me drive somewhere else to buy the more expensive items.
The knowledged level of the associates has decreased over the past several years, buy selection still beats Lowes. I prefer the local hardware stores personally when they have what I need. Worth the extra price for service and know how.
Installing carpet with Home Depot, and first off let me just say that Romanov is a great carpet installation subcontractor for them, but I am beginning to revile Home Depot during this process. When it takes multiple attempts calling the phone line just to get to the flooring department, but then the people who work in the flooring department answer just to keep it from ringing and then set the receiver on the counter and continue their conversations or just immediately hang up on you, it can really get on your nerves. Enough to write a lengthy review. The employees in the store are all just as bad too though cause they are all either absent, on the phone, or turn down an aisle the second our eyes meet. This is 2 star instead of 1 star solely because of the woman who ended up helping me, she is the lone saving grace for my experience thus far. It’s also entirely likely that she was the same one hanging up on me earlier this morning. My install is being delay 1 month because the carpet was damaged, I found out the day of the installation. I can’t move in to my house now yet, and Home Depot couldn’t be doing more to work against actually helping me

Needed assistance in electrical dept. After explaining what I needed to associate he threw up his hands and said he wasnt an electrician. Then he said the actual electrician was here today. Bummer. Some days you win and some days..............

Went to pick up our gazebo and they only had 2 of 3 packages for it. Drove an hour just to get this. So I canceled our order and will be going through somebody else! Very unprofessional and no help when I called the service desk to ask when it would be there or where the pick up spot was. They didnt even know where to tell me to pick it up at or park! Never again!
Very helpful n the sales lady didnt work appliances.. got it at a lower price than Lowes even with the delivery charge .. my grand are gonna love this dishwasher
On this trip, I was picking up two heavy items. I had two employees who helped me load the items. The bonus is that I didnt have to ask for help, they just did.

As usual finding the most simple of hardware was borderline excruciating. Check out was slow despite low store traffic. Every time I say Im not going back, and I do because its close. Usually I drive 10 minutes out of the way to go to Lowes. Steer clear if you value customer service or finding anything easily. Not even sure why Im giving a 2.
Customer service seemed overwhelmed and no one showed up to help me load something that weighs over 200lbs on a cart, so I ended up figuring it out myself. Luckily, the checkout was really nice and they let me take my military discount. However, no one asked if I needed help loading it in the truck. Oh well, Im just happy they let me take the discount and they had what I needed in stock..
Its ok you have to tackle the people that work at the place for help. I dont understand why people whom doesnt like customer service go into a customer service type job!
The box the item I wanted was in was empty. I ask a man in a Home Depot t shirt if he could help me. He replied that he was a merchandiser and could not help me ( he did not attempt to get someone else to help ) i saw another employee with a hand scanner to check on the item I wanted. He looked at the label on the shelf or box and said he didnt know that area. So then I called the store on my telephone to ask for help. The guy on the phone asked for the isle number. I told him I was in the metal shelving storage isle. I heard him ask another worker what isle that was.I heard the PA announcement. A very helpful lady came but she said she broke her glasses and. Could now read the numbers, so she took the box and went to find Person or scanner if there were any in stock. She said the count said one. But I know counts are never right in any storeAlso was looking at the 2 sliding patio doors that were on carts. They were marked down. The man sitting at the table offered no assistance. Maybe because he would of had to raise his head up from what he was looking / reading to notice anyone was 3 feet from him.Sorry for the long complaint list. I understand times are tough right now but they need to know why they were hired.
Absolutely the worst example of leader ship and customer service I have ever seen. Advertised free delivery and set up and the person at the customer service desk knew absolutely nothing about that and/or how to ring it up. She was kind enough to call the manager who came over after I had been there about 45 minutes and spent about two minutes showing her how to do something. He then walked away and she was still struggling the same manager walked past the customer service desk at least twice. Never asked if he could help and totally ignored the situation. The young girl at the desk was very apologetic and it truly was not her fault. It was total lack of training which is on the management. They advertise the free set up and delivery of a product and not one person I spoke with knew anything about the program. The manager should be ashamed of himself. He left this young lady out to dry.I was in the store trying to buy a grill for over an hour.

I take a dump here several times a week. The restroom is always clean aside from the occasion skid mark on the back of the bowl. How in the world does anyone even do that?!

Terrible service. Placed an order and told Ill have it Wednesday. Wednesday comes and no delivery. Call the store, get told that they forgot to load it. Go to the store to confirm another day, they say there were out of stock and their stock counts are all predictive, but ill have it this coming Wednesday. Tuesday call to confirm, oh they still dont have it, but they will deliver Saturday.. wait a day.. now the delivery is pushed out another week.Shop somewhere else, its not worth the hassle.
Very nice experience today in Lawn and Garden. A young man helped me get 2 shepherds hooks into my cart and helped me get 2 hanging baskets that were way too high for me to reach.
05/15 - I purchased a lock. There was a issue on my receipt and they give me store credit as Support desk was lazy to find my information using Credit card. Sales team gave me incorrect color lock two times (05/17) and now I am stuck with two expensive lock due to Salesmen laziness. They should tell customer about policy before giving store credit.Top of this, They have a third-party to waste an customer time and you can write a paper mail (yes Postal- no e-mail) to punish customer.Sure, You loose one loyal customer today.

I drive trucks for a living. Needless to say I had a delivery at the home depot. I have delivered to a few of them. 5:19 AM I get to this one, I back into the dock, l get out and ring the doorbell for Receiving. I was ignored for about 5 mins while watching 3 employees in the vicinity of the door. Then finally Carl the night manager came to the door. He didnt open it he talked to me through the door asking me Whatcha got?. Super professional. I told him here are the bills with a specific break down. Thats when he proceeded to tell me we dont receive freight until 6 AM. What was the point of asking what I have if you knew you dont receive freight before 6 AM? I think Carl the night manager decided on the spot he didnt want to unload the trailer. Why do I assume this? Every other Home Depot Ive deliverd to, Receiving opens at 5 AM. For the record the receiving hrs are not posted outside like the other Home Depots. I wonder why?
I love this place - I bounce back and fourth between here and Lowe’s, but I’m starting to think Home Depot has better overall prices.

Nice selection of wall cabinets online. The bathroom accessory I ordered was missing a part needed to install the item from Glacier Bay. I have to see if Home Depot can send it out to us. We are trying to avoid contact in crowds during covid.

Very positive experience! David H. in flooring was so helpful and knowledgeable. I went in to get carpeting and a new front door and he worked with me on both. He patiently answered every question and never made me feel rushed to make a decision. It is so nice to go to a store where the customer is put first!

Finally found someone at a Home Depot that knows how to do their job and ensured that we got the microwave we wanted even though she had to get someone else to help get it down - she made sure that we were taken care of.

I will edit this if my experience changes in the future. (3/8/21)I am unfamiliar with the store layout, as I am not in here very often. I needed some help to find a few items for the apartment recently moved in to. While attempting to get some help, I was blown off by more than one associate gathered together telling a few stories, and another employee walked past me as I was speaking to them. I rarely have issues finding things, but I believe they based this on my appearance that trip since I had just gotten back from a long run. I left the store with no one else attempting to talk with me.It is possible that the last employee could not hear me because of the masks we wear currently. I will try again in the future to see if this was a one off experience. Everyone is currently in the same boat during the pandemic, and I try to empathize with any added stresses that result from it. Therefore, I gave three stars and not a one star review.
Had to stand in line waiting. While the cashier held a causal conversation with the customer in front of me.When the cashier finally took care of me. He didnt even try to put my multiple items in bags. I had to request.I normally dont complain about things like this. However, if you are going to make me wait. Please exercise some common sense.
Customer service here is terrible, no one knows how to run the saw or perhaps they just dont want to do it. No one has any idea where anything is, I dont recommend this store. Lowes and Menards has much better customer service.
Ordered a ladder that was only available at this store, selected curbside, and drove in from a different city, an hour 1 way. When I got there, theyd put signs out saying that they wouldnt do curbside after 6. I checked the website, and it was still giving me the option to order curbside right then, so I dont know how I was supposed to know it was unavailable. I called in to the curbside number and begged (I had a car full of sleeping children, so I couldnt go in at all), and they very reluctantly agreed to bring it out. The whole thing could have been solved by having separate hours posted on their website, or literally anything other than just blocking the curbside slots with a few cones.
Friendly staff but not quite enough coverage on the floor. Was getting some plumbing parts and had to find them on my own. Cashier was nice and accurate.

Called Rental department before I drove 45 minutes to pick up a carpet cleaner. “Yes we have them and they have attachments.” Get to the store and the ones they carry do not have attachments anymore. Poor service and communication.

This place is unbelievable. Yesterday I was in there trying to setup a delivery of lumber. They wanted me to go and find all the SKU numbers and then come back to the register. This shows how untrained their staff truly is. I said your about to lose a 5k sale, the cashier said well its not my 5k. Needless to say I went down the road to Lowes told them what I needed and they got the 5K $ sale.

Mega store, what they dont have you can probably get online and shipped to store free delivery. Staff is knowledge and patient as long s youre in their department. Id have to say that Home Depot has the best looking lumber out the of all the mega stores. Youll never find that perfect 2x6x12 in all honesty, but youll find decent wood at a decent price with out to much digging through the pile.

Ordered a refrigerator on 8/31/2020. Delivery #1 The door was broken as I discovered condensation inside the refrigerator the next day. 2 hours on the phone trying to figure out what to do. A lady in the appliance section finally helped me. Delivery #2 The new refrigerator was scratched and dented. I refused it. Delivery #3... the delivery service never came... so I waited all morning around the house thinking they would call or come. I called the store and spoke with Josh the assistant manager. Josh asked me what would make me happy. I suggested knocking $500 off the refrigerator cost and I would keep the damaged refrigerator and I would have the broken door fixed. After speaking with the store manager, Josh offered me $200 to keep the broken refrigerator and I would still have to pay for it to get fixed. I told Josh this was unacceptable and poor customer service. I called the store manager Joe Autry... twice. He never returned my phone calls. He must have gotten the message because he had the delivery team set up a 4th delivery on 11/14/20 (2 1/2 months after I paid for the original refrigerator). My new delivery is set Saturday so who knows if there are more problems to come. Corporate office you will be getting a call from me.

Great staff, Tammy in appliances was so helpful in placing my order and setting up delivery.I needed new washer and dryer, she walked me through my needs and wants with no pressure. Got a great price for buying 2 at a time. Company that delivered was on time, professional, carefull when setting up.They are my go to now for any appliance. They really do care about their customers and want your business.Compared to other stores in Indiana and Kentucky in my opinion, Home Depot in Louisvilleis the top notch.
We ordered a brand new washer and dryer set. To be delivered and installed. Day of delivery we received a phone call saying it could not be delivered that day (understandable considering louisville gor some ice the night before). New schedule was a week out from that day. They were booked for deliveries the following 3 days. Happy to push our delivery date by a week but no one elses. Called to get reimbersed for the delivery and installation. Was told there was nothing they could do. All in all thats fine. I will never shop home depot again.
