Definitely has a higher end vibe, but still very cool! Been there a few times and the food is always great. The service is spot on and everyone is friendly. If you are in the area looking for a great brunch spot, definitely give it a try! Especially if you want a great cup of coffee, they serve Intelligentsia which is DELICIOUS, albeit very strong. The only reason it gets 4 stars, and really Id give it 4.5 stars if I could, is that the food is just a little bit...uninspired, as in I wasnt surprised by any of it. Everything tasted great and of high quality, but lacked that special touch some places seem to put into the food. With that said, I havent tried everything and will be definitely going back for more brunch! The Pastrami and Egg burger (see picture) was delicious and highly recommended. The pastrami just fell apart perfectly!
Eleven is the perfect addition to Mid-City with its old school charm with new school flare. The menu reads like your usual classic deli menu covering all the staples: corned beef, pastrami, cold cuts, matzo ball soup, real root beer, classic cakes and ice cream, all topped with an in-house candy bar and deli counter. The staff is still in training but everyone is really nice and excited to be there. We did have wait a while for a table for 2, at 7pm, on a Wednesday because they had to find more menus, but still the staff is great.I had the half sandwich and soup (matzo ball and pastrami) for $17. The soup alone was enough to fill me up but I obviously had to try the coleslaw and pastrami. The matzo ball soup was really simple, one giant matzo ball and broth - light flavor but hit the spot. The coleslaw was a little soupy for my taste but the pastrami was fine. Nothing mind blowing but a solid sandwich and soup.I will definitely be back to try their breakfast (which is all day) and their bloody mary which Ive heard is delicious - we shall see.Go after 7pm during the week and you can usually find street parking. If not you can park in the back for $7. On the weekends they apparently have valet.
The prices aren’t cheap but what you may not realize is that you’re getting at least two meals maybe even three worth of food. And the quality of the food is quite delicious. My wife and I shared a Cobb salad and Reuben sandwich and it literally was 2 and a half meals for us.And they have a lot of nice touches and little details which you just don’t see anymore. Like the old fashion counter that sells candy, the nice take out deli and the excellent service. I would definitely recommend this place.
Had dinner at this delightful Delicatessen and restuarant located on the corner of Wilshire and Cloverdale The menu is HUGE, offering a wide variety of food, including Breakfast all day, and a lot of dessert options. The staff were quite friendly, but service was a little slow. The food was good, but a little pricey. The ambience is wonderful, with Jazz music playing. There are Happy Hour food choices available, but only until 6pm. There are large windows that allow a lot of natural light in.
Had the tuna melt. Pretty good. Grilled veggies option as a side were delicious. Food was good. Service was good. Went on first day it opened. Busy but not crazy at lunch. Went back with a friend about 20 min before closing and they were already CLOSED. The guy at the door just said “it’s our first day and we are closed.” Maybe they ran out of food or were tired. Or both.
Food: the food is pretty good if you do not have diet restrictions. See menu.Warning; there are very, very, very little options for vegans. I think there are two. Cool story bro.Complaints:The seating rules for people with children is straight disrespectful and discriminatory. There’s just no other way to put it. If you like being treated like a second class citizen because you dare to go and eat with your person who doesn’t meet their age requirement, prepare to be de-prioritized behind others without children since there are only a handful of places they will allow them to sit. I mean, I legit stood in the queue for almost 40 minutes while couples waltzed in and were prioritized because they did not have a child with them. When asked what gives, they said, “we only seat people with children in a certain section because kids touch the letters above our booths.” For starters, that’s discrimination. Second, adults won’t touch letters next to the booths? Ok.... That’s ridiculous and furthermore who are they to decide what age is appropriate to sit in an area? Do they specialize in child development and know specifically if a child can follow instructions or not?Another thing that bothers me about this place is the sectioning off of the direct route to the restroom while in the queue by the hostess. The logic as to why you can’t walk to the restroom without going around the entire dining area wasn’t conveyed, so thumbs down for the negative attitude the staff gave me when I asked.Lastly, for the life of me I don’t think many people like being talked down to. Host and Hostess attitudes; specifically the dismissing, smile in your face but with the easily understood ‘leave me alone attitude’, or the ‘all your questions are dumb’ attitude; they’re all so not cool for business. If you don’t like your service industry job, work somewhere where you will also enjoy what you’re doing part time or employ those Hollywood acting skills while at work and make us believe you’re there to help. If you can act like you love you job and make it believable, maybe acting can become a full-time gig. Just saying...Overall, the little to no vegan options, the “we’re better than you attitude when speaking to people”, and the discrimination rubbed me the wrong way. I do not think I’ll be giving them a second chance.
Not as busy as they were when they first opened so thats good. Nice decors. Staff was fine. Menu was thick with everything on there. The staff are probably told to make sure to recommend a specific dish. I was asking about a particular item on the menu and waitress said they dont have it for that day and suggested for the 2nd time the French toast. Since they didnt have what I wanted, I went for highly recommend dish. It was meh. Very sweet. Portions were big. Almost everything on the menu is pricy. Dont get me wrong, I may still return and try something else but its definitely overpriced and they treat each customer differently depending if youre VIP or not. The day we went, the manager had a friend that went and they offered them aVIP table and got lots of special treatment - but whatever, friends always gets special treatments lolP.S. I really liked the orange juice...mimosa was okay
Originally, I would give this place 5 stars... but, after an interaction I had with a staff member and their owner, Brad, I will never be going back or recommending this place to anyone. From the looks of the other reviews, I’m not the only one who’s had this unfortunate experience. I’ve seen the way the owners treat the staff behind closed doors, and it’s not nice. They berate their staff, yell at people, and just act incredibly rude. All they do is care about appeasing their rich customers. Not worth it.
This place is a damn gem. The decor/aesthetic is IMMERSIVE. Like the candy store from Willy Wonka meets Alec Baldwins office in The Aviator. No expense or detail has been spared in making this place a true art-deco EXPERIENCE. Not retro. Art Deco. More Mrs. Maisel than Happy Days. No tacky Marilyn and Elvis canvases. No jukebox of everything from Chuckberry to Bon Jovi (Im looking at you, Mels. Pick an era for Christssake) This place has the best soundtrack Ive ever heard. Its swing and Doris Day and big band goodstuff youve never heard. Youd swear we just won the war and Sinatra was still bigger than Elvis. And the food and the service is so beautifully small-town, youd swear you were in Idaho Springs Colorado with the love and kindness that is oozing from this place. Godspeed to you, Eleven City. May rude folk never enter your doors, and may your playlist never be compromised for coffee-house-trash.
Great find, food is great every time. Staff is sweet always willing to get right. You cant go wrong for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Absolutely obsessed with this place! Love all the food and love the ambience! One of my favorite places in LA!
The food was really good! And the service was exceptional! There were four of us and other than our orders we never had to ask for refills or anything. It was clean and the food was delivered in a timely manner! Very highly recommended!
Closer to 3.5 vs 4 but overall a good experience our first time here. Service was great. the matzo ball soup was okay. The matzo ball itself was one of the lightest Ive had which was amazing the broth was lacking good flavor. The corned beef was very good. Corned beef had good marble and was very tasty. rye bread was okay and the cole slaw could use a hint more vinegar
Great food. However, the server could have been friendlier and much more accommodating especially when I asked for the carrots and celery that comes with the kids menu. She said it was no longer part of the order and that the printed menu they had given me was out dated. According to the menu, the $9.50 kids order also comes with a drink but she kept that one quiet too. The soup I ordered never came. So all in all not a great experience.
Very appetizing. this place has an awesome feel to it.
Experienced such nostalgia the entire time we were here. They’ve really nailed the old-school diner vibe while modernizing for the better. The food was great and the service was even better. Plus, they have a full bar which includes a well-crafted tap and bottled beer selection. What a treat it was to dine here - so glad it exists! We will be back very soon :)
For my money under consideration for the best deli/diner for miles. Their meats and most of their other dishes are far more flavorful than the delis that Eleven pays homage to. Seasoning-forward and modern flavor profiles. Your old favorites are shining brightly here.
Went there on a Friday I think. The service here is great. Prices were fair for the quality of the food.
Super cool throwback delicatessen. Thoroughly enjoyable. Cant wait to come back. **Vegans: they have the Impossible burger but the bun is not vegan and there are no subs available. But still awesome with a pile of fries.
Just a great deli restaurant with other offerings which are healthy! Something for everyone. Pleasant staff and home made pickles are yummy.
First visit to Eleven City Diner: loved it. The design, service and food reflect an owner that cares. Came on the recommendation of the Deli Boys podcast and wasn’t disappointed. Our waitress (Brittany?) was efficient and helpful, while the owner Bradley does a great job of making you feel special. The food and drinks are delicious, helped by Bradley’s clearly passionate dedication to sourcing the best ingredients. Excited to come here more often, make it part of our routine. Thanks team!
Great food and service. The prices are somewhat reasonable given the amount of food served. This diner seems busiest during brunch time but the wait is not all that bad. They accept reservations.
Awesome. Perfect. Every little detail at this place, from the decor to the menu to the sourcing, is great. I cant wait to be a regular! Do. Not. Miss.
Our visits to LA always include a meal at Eleven City. Great food. Friendly service. Owners and managers around to help with anything. Do yourself a huge favor and take some time to enjoy this oasis.
I had a Pastrami on Rye with a slice of Swiss and it was excellent. A few days later I was at Factors Deli on Pico and just out of curiosity I had the same. 11s was thicker, juicier and warm all the way through while the cheese on the Factors was ice cold. Cole slaw was better. Price about the same.
I always get the tom waits breakfast here and, despite how simple it consists of, all of it is put together amazingly. The eggs are nice and fluffy, the potatoes and soft on the inside by tough and crispy on the skin with a flavorful seasoning, and the pancakes are fluffy.
Convinced the owner might be the most awful person of all time. Brad is his name he is so beyond rude it’s frightening. We watched him berate a waiter over... who even knows what... in front of the entire restaurant like a GD child. We felt very uncomfortable. You could literally tell he’s the type of person who makes people feel bad wherever he goes. We wanted to love the place so much but alas. Now it’s just a bad feeling every time we walk by it in our neighborhood. Let’s keep Miracle Mile jerk free. AVOID. The food is basic so you aren’t even missing out.
Finally made my way to try this deli out. It did not disaapoint. I had the half soup and sandwich. Pastrami was excellent as was the matzo ball soup. Great vibe. My new favorite deli!
Nice little place. It was crowded every time I passed by after it opened, and I saw Jere Burns in there once, so I figured it must be good.I figured right. Being from the East coast, I miss diners. This one made me feel right back home. Its clean and well decorated, the location is perfect, and the staff is amazing. Our waitress was casual but still professional. When I asked her which would win in a fight between the French toast and the pancakes, she gave me a recommendation of the French toast. I was not disappointed.I cant speak to the parking here because I live within walking distance, but I imagine its a little tricky since its pretty close to LACMA. As far as things go with the crowd, breakfast is relatively empty, but dinner always looks packed.
Staff were very friendly and tentative. The food was amazing. Had one of the breakfast plates and was very full and happy.
My new favorite place. Easily the best diner I’ve gone to in all of Los Angeles. The food we had there was absolutely amazing. Also, big shout out to our waitress Kayln, who was fantastic. She recommended the Mexican scramble, open-faced turkey sandwich, corn beef and pastrami hash. All of it was just out of this world good. The vibe in this place is terrific. Highest praise possible.
Generally speaking the wait staff was very friendly. The food was pretty good. However, the management was abrasive, and frankly rather rude. From the comments that I am reading on here, they have never had to deal with management. I have. Unfortunately. A manager, who detailed to me that his name was Scott, if this was in fact true, was trying to rush my friend and I out of the restaurant. The wait staff was helping us and he was constantly looking over at our table. It felt kind of weird to have someone constantly staring at you. Until he finally came over and asked us if we were finished or not. If he could take the check. We had already paid and we were just talking about life over a glass of water. He did not have the situational awareness to ask the wait staff whether or not we had already paid. I like to take my time in a restaurant. Eat. Drink. Relax. However, I have found that it is not an enjoyable experience when you feel like you are being rushed out the door, the second that you walk in. He became visibly upset with me when I inquired as to why he did not ask the wait staff if we had paid or not. Honestly I would just recommend going elsewhere to dine. Especially because there are so many options here in LA. Maybe you will have a good experience, maybe you will not have a good experience. You can always take a chance by eating here, but why take that chance.
Great food and drinks! Dessert is fun too.
Excellent diner. Great food. Service can feel slow at times but I dont think that should detract from going. The staff is friendly and energetic which really makes it a great place to go!
This is the kind of place you see in movies but that no actual diner ever seems to actually live up to. It feels like stepping back in time! From the music to the decor, to the soda fountain counter and the candy counter with the huge, old fashioned bell that is VERY satisfying to hit. The owner, Bradley, is so enthusiastic about the diners of old and his passion is so clear in this place. He was there shaking hands and chatting with all the tables cheerfully! The food is DELICIOUS, and so is the coffee (Intelligentsia)! Youve got to have a Brooklyn Egg Cream while youre there to round out the experience. Our faces hurt from grinning the whole time we were there! We will be returning regularly, and likely bringing all who visit us.
Amazing decor and ambience!! Delicious food and friendly service. This is a quintessential and must-try diner experience in LA
So happy this placece is here. Great Diner/Deli food in a super clean and fun atmosphere.Service is friendly( unheard of in most delis)Our server Britney went out of her way to provide fantastic service with a smile both today and on my first visit two weeks ago.Brisket is super tender. Pastrami and Corned beef were great.
Great food quality and great service. Parking may be challenging. Seating is somewhat limited- you can make reservations.
Went here with my son and parents for Sunday brunch. Yes the food is good, the decor is super cute, the waitress was great, BUT the wait was ridiculous and unnecessary. The owner seems to only care about HIS guests an a few B-List celebrities that come to dine. It appeared that open tables were going to these two groups rather than all the people waiting for 30 minutes plus. I really wish I could remember the name of our server because she was great. I do not think I will be going back because if the owner really wants to have this great neighborhood spot he should really appreciate the people of the neighborhood and what this city is really about.
Worst welcome I’ve ever had in a restaurant... the owner(I’m guessing from the other reviews) was incredibly rude to me when I entered. Not sure I can use the words to describe him on here so I won’t... Luckily for him he has some amazing staff(not sure how, with his awful personality). He should really leave his staff to look after his business otherwise he may not have one... with him being there to scare people away!
This is a really great place. Great classic Chicago Dinner style, really delicious food and large portions. Friendly staff and good service.
Excellent food (I had a customized deli breakfast scramble). Great, fast service. So nice to have in the neighborhood. May you live long and prosper.
Amazing Place!! Everything was Delicious 🥰!Hostesses make you feel really happy!! We really enjoy our first visit..
Fun new place that still needs to work out some kinks with service. I really enjoy the happy hour specials at the bar, especially the frosé! Cant wait to come back for brunch to try the lauded Bloody Marys. The only issue Ive encountered the two times Ive gone is the service, which was often distracted and hard to get the attention of. Still, Im glad theyre in the neighborhood and hope they continue to succeed here.
Visiting son and family (from WI). 2nd time at Eleven. Great food, wait staff always friendly. YUMMY!** 1 problem: restaurant doesn’t do gift certificates😟
Loved this place! Great food - get the hot turkey sandwich - they roast their own meats and the soups are made from scratch. I had the chocolate cake, thats very good too! I want to go back!
Fantastic little place with great food and great service... if I had to complain about one thing... it would be the small beers, $9 for a 12 oz draft. At least lemme get a pint lol
The place is decorated beautifully and the service is good. The food is hit or miss. Some of the food is very bland and other foods can be tasty. Theres parking on the streets or in the back of the building for a fee. Desserts are good but over priced. Its an expensive place to eat. The portions are big, maybe smaller portions for less.
Great food and atmosphere. Wait staff is excellent. Fun place with food like Mama and Grandma prepared.
The restaurant is lovely, good service with a friendly staff. The food was excellent. Happy to have this Deli in the Miracle Mile.
Great vibes and great food. We’ve already been back a few times to try different things on the menu. Challah french toast is great! Potato Knish is bomb! Cheesy fries were surprisingly good. I overlooked it thinking “how good can cheesy fries be? Its just cheese on fries..” but its such a good sharp cheddar taste and its a sauce so it doesn’t get all cold and hard after 5mins.For this hungry, try #43, it sounds complicated but it works! Now, i just have to figure out how to save room for dessert.
My 1st time trying the impossible burger. Altho staff was seemingly a little overly polite. Which Im not used to, its a good thing, I just feel kinda obligated to pay for expensive food for rich - wealthy people. My disappointment was the bread choice. I expected a nice brioche type burger bun. However, unfortunately for me, I wasnt given a choice on the menu. So, they gave me rice bread instead. Also, theyre quite expensive. I paid like between $30 - $40 for a burger with dry wood tasting bread, large fries, and a bottle of natural Root Beer soda. I had to pass on desert. It was like $10 more. The burger itself was okay, a little greasy tho. I like the classic diner look & feel. Maybe next time Ill be much more inquisitive.
Terrible customer service! Rude and unwelcoming. I had a truly weird experience there this morning. It ended with the owner following me into the street. I went there intending to make it my new favorite place. Instead, I will never return.I arrived at 9 AM, and was the first customer there. They opened the doors late. The host offered me a small table for two in the cavernous and empty restaurant. When she learned that a friend was joining me, she changed her mind and said I would have to wait to sit down, pointing to the sign listing the policy. Now, I understand this basic restaurant policy, but it is usually enforced only when a place is busy, or when a customer is asking for a bigger table. In this case, the place was deserted, and the table would have been the same for me with or without my friend. They would have let me sit there alone, but not if someone was joining me. Absurd! I wanted to order coffee and read for a few minutes, at the table, but no can do. Meanwhile, 6-10 staff members stood around, waiting for customers.I complained to the host and manager, who informed me through fake smiles that the policy was firm. Talk about picayune, unwavering and unreasonable! Two more customers arrived, and observed the strange treatment I was getting. One spoke to me unprompted, saying she had heard the place had bad customer service, and that she intended to write a bad review based on what she had just witnessed. When my friend arrived, we left. The owner suddenly appeared, and followed us to the street, not to try to make it better, but to yell at me and scold me in public for having complained to the host. Save yourself the unpleasantness and find another spot.
The food and Decor were marvelous. And the musical selections were also excellent. However, the uneven volume levels were quite disturbing. Sometimes they were acceptable but other times, depending on the piece, they blared and were very intrusive. Im wondering if you could get a professional sound person in there to equalize the settings and perhaps install a limiter, I think it is called, on the output so that it would not be so interrupting and call attention to itself. That is the only reason I would not revisit your wonderful establishment. Thanks for listening. Please reply if possible because I would like to know if and when I can come back.
Great Los Angeles gem in the Miracle Mile.... super friendly greeting and staff..... try the Dudes pilsner 🍻🍺it was ice cold and wonderful and California..... but the best part is although its an authentic Diner ...they have great healthier options such as the impossible Burger excetera.... nice and clean and bright ....nice and cool; check it out....🍻
The food is great, but I must deduct a couple of stars for the service. My sisters birthday was on Saturday October 19th. While she was away from the table, my brother asked that a slice of cake with a candle be brought out at the end of the meal. So at the end of the meal we waited and finally got to-go bags to take the rest of our uneaten food with us, and the waitress said, oh, Im sorry we have no more candles. So instead of saying something earlier, she waited until we were about to go. And even if you have no candles, what about the slice of cake? That was very disappointing for us, but my sister was cool about it, though we all thought it was less than stellar customer service.
My family and I loved the Eleven City Diner in Chicago and couldnt wait to try the new location in LA. We were not disappointed. I ordered the Rubins Reuben with half corned beef and half pastrami and my wife ordered the Schwartzy Brisket sandwich. Both were amazing. We got great service and are looking forward to our next visit.
If I can give negative stars, they deserve it. I just walked out of the restaurant with the worst possible service ever. We ordered French Dip and Pesto Omblet. Pesto was mundane and French Dip smelled of old meat. I told the waitress and she brought someone who seemed like a manager. He was very apologetic and brought us a menu to order something else. Later, owner shows up with the meat and is very upset. He goes on a show of how the meat is fresh and that our taste bud was weird in front of everyone around. I own a restaurant myself. If someone doesn’t like the food, I apologize, refund, and give them something else just so they can have a good experience. Here, no. They charged me for the food we took one bite off of and said that there was nothing wrong with the food. I asked if I can get something else, and they said no. This was seriously the worst customer service ever in Los Angeles. If you want mundane food with proud owner who doesn’t know his ingredients, go ahead and spend your $20 on a smelly lunch.
Nice looking place but the service, coffee and food left ankotbto be desired. Intelligentsia Coffee has always been overrated but to add to my misery they serve their hot coffee very, very lukewarm. The pancakes were still liquidy in the center... I could go on but I wont. This place needs to do a whole lot better.
Walked in on Christmas. Staff was so welcoming and friendly. Had a great Christmas dinner at the bar.
The food, atmosphere, and service is great. However the maitre’d/host is a conceited jerk so full of himself he doesn’t realize how rude he is to customers.
Amazing deli sandwich. The Zenith blew us away with rich taste. Very nice competent waiters.
The food was excellent and the staff was very inviting! All around good service.
Good portion sizes. Service is great. Bread was fresh and meat was cut and presented well.
Rude/confusing staff at host stand. Food was good-ish. Cute place. I may go again to try another menu item and hopefully form a better, more pleasant review on the place.
Such a cool vibe, friendly staff, and delicious diner standards.I adore the quotes on the walls and really love the styling choices of the interior. Its a new place of course, but you can see all of the attention to detail put into this space, and I think it really pays off.I checked this place out with my family, and we decided to go with the mac and cheese to share, burgers for me and my dad, and a corned beef sandwich for my aunt. She was pleased with how lean the corned beef is and the portion size (yay for lunch the next day!!), and my dad and I both thought our burgers were delicious and juicy, even though I got mine medium-well and he got his well. To finish the night, my dad had a malt, because why not? It came with a little extra in the mixing cup and a cherry on top, of course. My aunt and I each stole some and Im happy to report that that, too, was delicious! I plan on coming back here with friends, especially since there is a bar and a really enticing cocktail menu.
Old friends gathered at this new haunt on Wilshire Boulevard for weekend brunch which began with Bloddy Marys and was followed by generous dishes. All served by friendly staff in an upbeat environment. No one left hungry.
One of my favorite local spots in the Miracle Mile area. The staff is amazing and food is always so great!
An old school NY/ Chicago style Jewish deli & diner. What a welcome addition to our neighborhood. Awesome chopped liver, egg things and classic corn beef/ pastrami fixings. We intend to live at this place.
Poor customer service. Empty tables but we had to wait 25 minutes after being told 10 min then 5 min. I asked to sit at the empty counter and they told me to stand behind the check in counter as servers walk through the entrance. Looks cool, but service is horrible
Love it but a little bit expensive! Great service too. Fast and easy!
It is the first time I went there but I must say it is probably the best deli in Los Angeles Tuesdays top-notch all around
I was excited to see a new diner-style restaurant opened up in my neighborhood. This past weekend I went to try it with the boyfriend, and had a bad experience. I went to the bathroom for 5min, and in that time, my name was called. Since I wasnt there, we werent sat AND skipped over. I came out of the bathroom and my bf was mad, so we decided to go to Spare Tire Kitchen next door instead. I know most restaurants will only seat if the full party is there, but I was in the building moments away from coming to the front; unreasonable.
Even though this restaurant has a kids menu and a fun candy display they are not family friendly. The wait staff is beyond lovely but Scott the manager goes out of his way to make moms feel unwelcome. He is constantly running over to your table if your kid should get out of their seat for a minute, anyone with young kids knows that staying still in a chair is impossible, and if you’re kids want to buy candy he weirdly will not let you browse too long because it’s close to the host stand. I finally said something about them not being very friendly to children, and instead of apologizing Scott the manager said “if you don’t like it then you don’t have to come back”.
Cool vibe. Cool restaurant. Cool diner. A lot of the dishes can be shared if the prices are a bit much.
I was driving on Wilshire...saw the sign...stop my car parked and was surprised with an amazing new spot...will definitely go back...
Food, service and ambiance all great. Looking forward to returning to try the chocolate cake.
Love the food and the entire staff greeted us and said goodbye. Will definitely return
The food was so bland, I thought it came out wrong. Of the three dishes we received, only one was decent. My habit is to give places the benefit of the doubt, since it could just be that one dish that’s not good, but three for three? Also have a complaint about the service. It’s just oozing with attitude and incompetence. I was wary when I read reviews about the apparent manager, but can attest for myself that all the complaints are true.Wish I could say I had a better experience here, but unfortunately it was one of those “so-bad I’m-going-to-leave-a-review” experiences instead.
I received an unsolicited menu on my parked car. Not only is this completely unwarranted, they touched my private property to place said menu. This is litter and placing trash on my car is no way to get more business. I’ve had friends go to this place and they said it’s overpriced and management is horrible. Judging by their desperate marketing tactics, I’d say they’re not going to last very long.
Love the look of this diner! Theyve made a real effort to make this place look as cool as possible. Too bad the food doesnt really match up. Everything we ordered was just okay. The Twix Pie was totally bland - after being promised a deliciously sweet caramel and chocolate pie. Overpriced too. Wont be rushing back.
As a frequent visitor, I can say that Eleven City Diner goes above and beyond to create a perfect deli experience 🥯. If you get to know the team and management as real humans, youll discover theyre OBSESSED with making every moment in their restaurant a truly positive experience.✨ And the proof is in the puddin - Their attention to detail from the stylized plating, interior design, little candies for the kiddos, witty signages, etc. etc. looks to inspire that warm, old-school, feel-good buzz upon every moment in their establishment. And they do it darnnn well.If youre on the fence, I recommend you go visit them and see for yourself! ❤️As part of the Miracle Mile/LA community whos been waiting for a place like this to come to the neighborhood - we should be supportive to all the hard-working, risk-taking business who literally give their hearts, souls and pockets to try and give us an experience well enjoy (Thats the point of creating a business after-all)! Since Eleven is still a relatively young restaurant, if you happen to have something constructive to say to them Im sure theyd appreciate it being brought up in a different medium than online bashing (harsh!) so they can improve and make your next experience a 5 star one - thats been my experience at least!*Turkey Pastrami, Cherry Pie, their Lox... is a MUST 🤤Have fun yall!
