Sort of a Westwood institution despite moving to a new location, the food is very generously portioned with tasty bacon and plenty of eggs. Hashbrowns were nice enough too. Main fail was the french toast, which was pretty so-so.

Your typical neighbourhood diner: quick service, old-school vibes, and greasy yet comforting food. Nothing special or extraordinary here, but you get decent food for decent prices.I came for brunch and tried the Westwood omelette, which was recommended by the cashier. I got fruit on the side and two slices of toast with butter and jam. The omelette was big and came out hot in all its greasy glory: smothered in cheese with generous amounts of bacon, avocado, and diced tomatoes. The omelette was pretty tasty but I only finished half of the omelette since I wasnt that hungry and saved the leftovers for the next day. The fruit on the side wasnt that fresh, and toast is toast, but for about $12, I thought it was a pretty good deal for 1.5 meals! The diner is set up with a good amount of tables on the sides and a bar in the center. After ordering at the front, they bring you your food pretty quickly, which is always a plus. Though the decor looks like its on the older side, the interior of the diner is clean and comfortable. If youre looking for an affordable and satisfying brunch in Westwood, Headliners Diner is a good bet. I wouldnt come out of my way to go here, but its convenient location and prices make it appealing if youre already in the area.

The service was excellent and the food was even better! We sat outside and enjoyed the chicken quesadilla and the wet burrito. Both dishes were incredible! My only regret is that I didn’t get any pictures to post but they were absolutely delicious. 10/10 I would definitely recommend. This is a great place to support a local business during this time.

Be careful when you tip. When I tried to give a $10 dollar tip, the cashier changed it to a $18 tip. This is the second time they do this. Always the morning and always the same guy. I pay with a company card so it doesnt hurt my wallet but its very unprofessional and sad that theyre thieves. Also, on the receipt, itll say total which is not true. Lets say my total was $50 with a $7 tip. The receipt wont say total is $57, itll say $50 and youll have 2 charges on your credit card. The other is the $7. It just seems like the receipt is a lie to show you your total when it really isnt.

Excellent burger hang out place when we went to UCLA way back. Still a college kids hangout dinner. Lots of veggies and vegan choices on menu. If you prefer keto, Paleo, or Pagan diets like I do, ditch the buns and have lettuce wraps. You would be surprised at the changes you make in your diets and lifestyle. Healthy eating= Healthy living.

This place used to be good. No more. My daughter’s waffle was burned. My chicken sandwich was inedible because the chicken was way too tough. Raw? Burn food that is raw in the middle. No we coming back. Too bad, it used to be great.

Large breakfasts, if a bit pricey. I got the Westwood omelet, though I wouldnt call it an omelet. More of a scramble, nothing folded over neatly, just cooked and thrown on a plate. It was good, and more than I could eat in one sitting. The decor is 50s diner, and the service is pretty basic, and self serve. Id eat here again if I were really hungry. Otherwise its kind of expensive. Good luck getting the order taker to follow any special requests. Ive eaten here twice and they got the order wrong both times.

The owner and staff are friendly. Good place to get some work done on as there are plenty of seating and not too crowded. I have had the short stack, and although I think it is a little overpriced for just 3 pieces of pancakes with syrup, the location, space, and service are worthwhile.

This place has a nice deal where any sandwich on their menu plus a drink and fries go for $7.99 if you dine in after 4pm, and you get free refills. You also get to choose between regular and curly fries, which is a nice perk to have. The food is decent for the price.

Fast service and great food. Enjoyed the plate and definitely recommend coming here. Only downs are that the hasbrowns are not made to order and instead are made by bulk on the grill in advanced, so when the service is slow, like when I came in, you may be eating old hashbrown.

I would give it around a 2.5 but price brings it down to 2. Its quite honestly worse than dennys. I went there for breakfast and got the big French toast. The eggs were decent but not seasoned the hashbrowns were gross tasting burnt and mushy at the same time. The sausage and bacon were cooked perhaps first thing in the morning and were pretty dry. I was there at 10am on a Sunday seems reasonable for breakfast. The French toast wasnt too bad but was more just eggy bread than French toast. If your in the area give this one a pass

Ive been working in Westwood for almost 3 years, living here for a little over half a year, and this has become my new favorite diner! They offer all kinds of food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Priced around $10 a dish, big proportions, and a setting that gives you modern retro 50s diner feel. They also have a few veggie options if you dont eat meat.

I would normally not review good or bad however this place deserves a review. I received a bad potato in my hashbrowns which can happen, but it was the way the host responded that deserves the one star. The host proceeded to grab a handful of hash browns off the grill to try, and told me theyre not bad. I asked for a refund he he offered me fruit or fries. Very bad experience.

No offense, but singlehandedly the worst burger that Ive ever had. The buns stick all over my teeth and thats not the kind of buns Im trying to stick. Onions are nowhere to be seen inside their standard headline burger. Seriously, youre going to put NO sauce on your burger AND take out the only ingredient with a kick. Big Shaq would like to have a word with you. As sad as the fries looked, they tasted fair, Ill give it that. But the WORST offense of all, - and you may want to sit down for this one - was that their half pounder was not a juicy, pink-at-the-center, warm, dripping-all-over-my-mouth, puss - I mean - half pound patty. Rather, it was TWO QUARTER POUND PATTIES STACKED TOGETHER. Bro. BRO. Who are you, Wendys?? And even those patties are bland but somehow managing to be saltier than my feelingz about this place. Salt is not seasoning dude. This is a blasphemy to the name diner. Shame on your cow, man. You false advertising.
