Great selection of books. I was able to pick up some hard to find Japanese study books here. Price was slightly marked up but was very reasonable since they were import. Very grateful for this place!

Really good selection of manga, especially in Japanese which is sadly harder to find even in bookoff and other stores. A lot of other stationary, magazines and other anime goods as well.

My daughter loves manga and it is extremely expensive. I got her several books here and it was not cheap, but she was happy so it was a win. This is a nice clean store with much more than books to offer.

Found this place by accident and I would bet it is a secret with the locals. It is located inside a small strip mall... next to a CVS. I cant even remember what I ordered but it was ramen with 6 pieces of pork and I got it spicy (you dont have to). Broth was amazing and the pork was perfect. Highly recommended!

Ive loved the Kinokuniya bookstore in Little Tokyo for years. This was my first foray to this one and I love it just as much. FYI: its located inside the Mitsuwa Marketplace, so when you see that, youre headed in the right direction. Im a pen junkie, and Kinokuniya has everything I could ever want. Ive learned that the Japanese really love their writing implements and are great at developing all types of pens for optimum writing experience. Of course theres manga aplenty, along with tons of awesome blank books, journals, stationery, plushies, cute tote bags (check out the Gojira/Godzilla one). The sales staff are really friendly too. Definitely worth a second and third trip. Plus, right next door is a market specializing in all Japanese food and sundry items, including fresh sushi to go, as well as shops with all manner of Japanese fast food. Shop then eat. Sounds like a plan.

Inside a Mitsuwa Marketplace. Had to fall in line to get in, but the line moved quick. I appreciate the safety measures.Store is well organized, making it easy to find what youre looking for. The store also had a huge inventory of pens and markers and drawing/art utensils and cute notepads and bags and just all sorts of stuff!

I like paper book and the smell of paper when you are reading. And I like to come to this store and buy new book. They have very good selection different books and their prices are reasonable. The staff is always polite and helpful.

This Kinokuniya is actually located inside the Mitsuwa marketplace. It will be on the right side of the entrace. Its very small and have a lot of stationary. I actually came all the way here to pick up an order since none of the staff in LT offered to even order an item I was looking for nor did I even know that was possible so I was thankful to the lady who helped me.

Great selection of Japanese notebooks, pens, pencils brushes, books, etc. Easy to park and to find. Not as big as the one in downtown, but has a bigger selection of stationary supplies.
