To find the exact car I wanted I had to reach out to a dealer 4 hours away, Peters Chevrolet in Longview, TX. Made appointment to have truck repaired.... radio and light issues. Received call with estimate of repairs. Inquired if they were covered by warranty and told no. Inquired about coverage by extended warranty and was told that had not been checked because they did not know to check. (I would think it would be in the standard practice to check). After checking that there was an extended warranty purchase and verification of coverage I received another call that both repairs were in fact covered. Only the deductible would be due. The vehicle was ready the following day. Staff were all friendly. I wish I had the gentlemans name, but I didnt get it.... this man was extra courteous in ensuring that I received prompt service during vehicle retrieval.

Best Automobile purchase experience ever! I drove over from Louisiana because I heard that Peters Ram had the best selection and staff. I was not disappointed at all. Inventory was great, sales staff was very nice and answered all my questions. I cant thank my salesman, Mykal Navarre enough! I was dreading the finance portion of the deal, but shouldnt have. None of the back and forth to the Sales Manager routine, which I have done many times. They just ran my credit, shopped for the best rate, and I was out of there in less than an hour, start to finish. I highly recommend using this dealership. I will use them again!

Ive purchased numerous new vehicles in my life, and have even walked out of dealerships without purchasing where the sales personnel came across like they were doing you a favor just to speak with you. I can honestly say that our experience with James in sales and Randy in finance was the best experience Ive ever had when purchasing a new vehicle. Those two, as well as everyone else I met at the dealership, were kind, courteous, respectful and down right friendly. No hard sales pitches, no leaving you on your own to discuss the deal with their sales manager, and definitely no B.S. Even after the sale, I went back just today to get a bedliner sprayed into the bed of our new 2021 Jeep Gladiator. We were treated with the same courtesy and friendliness as when we first walked into their doors to kick the tires. Awesome dealership, first rate team and acres of selections to choose from. Even though the manager had to find a different ride home, he greeted us with a huge smile today - you see we bought the demo model he was utilizing as his personal ride. Though you could do worse kicking tires at a dealership, you will never find a better group of folks to deal with than those at Peters CBCJDRF

We purchased 3 vehicles 2 months ago. My spouses truck has been in their shop since Tuesday, September 2,2021. Theres is NO update when or if they can fix it!! They cant figure out the problem. Weve been very patient through this whole process. Now its getting ridiculous! We pay $2,000 a month for 2 vehicles. We have 5 children that have sports and other things we have to attend to. My husband cant go back to work until his truck is working! So were not only sharing one vehicle, but also putting alot of miles on one vehicle. He works in west Texas and thank God his boss is understanding. Every since our salesman Steven quit our service has been awful. Fed up with all the miscommunication or no communication! Peters needs to step up their game. Done venting now. Have a blessed day.

From beginning to end, our experience with Peters staff, was great. When we bought our Jeep, our sales person, Paul A. went above and beyond to earn our business. In a conversation we had in passing while we shopped, I told Paul about how my wife always wanted a bow on a new car. They did not have bows there but they decorated their building and just so happens part of that décor was a bow. So my wife got something she always wanted and I got points. Then when it came time for this vehicle to be serviced, the service team hit a home run. Fast and courteous service.

We dealt with Kenyon Carter as a salesman. I cant say enough good about the experience. He really was a hustler in that while he was dealing with us, he was also helping other customers as well. Really enjoyed having him as a salesman. This young man put us first and always was smiling and glad to be there. There were some things that he wasnt exactly familiar with but there was no line fed to us. He found out what we wanted to know. He made sure that we left happy with the car we wanted. Financing went just as well. Setting up everything went well. I wished we wouldnt have been stuck there for several hours. We left without fully understanding all the features of the car. With that being said though, we are going back to have some stuff done to the car and will learn then. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a new car to visit this dealership and ask for Kenyon. They want to sell you a vehicle.

Ultimately the service was good. I’ve come to the conclusion that it really depends on which service advisor you deal with.My daughters jeep left her stranded with all the oil leaking out. Called Peters and was told they were backed up almost 2 months due to employees being sick and staffing issues (these days not so uncommon). They offered to facilitate a tow company to pick up her jeep and bring it to them, I am very appreciative of that. When I arrived at Peters to speak to them and give them my info I was met by service advisor Jason Rushing. He again advised me that they were short staffed and they would attempt to diagnose and fix the jeep as a “work in”. I was ok with that, again, the times we live in. Jason advised me they should be able to diagnose the issue that day or the next and he would get back to me but that it could be a while before they could work on it. Jason gave me his business card and told me to call him anytime if I had questions and in fact told me to call the cell number on his business card as opposed to calling the service center stating it would be much easier to get hold of him. The next morning I was contacted by Hunter, a different service advisor, he told me the issue with the jeep and the expected cost for repairs and again that it would be a “work in” due to staff shortages. Again, expected in the times we live in. Over the next week I made several unanswered calls to Jason and left messages with Jason who not one time returned a call or message. I called the cell number from the business card he gave me and told me to call him at. I called the service desk and left messages and he did not return a single call. Knowing that they were short staffed and the repairs would be “worked in” I had no expectations of the repairs to happen quickly, however, because on the day the jeep was dropped off he told me he would keep me informed, I did have the expectation of being kept up to date. I quickly figure out the communicating is not one of Jason’s better virtues. Eventually, it appears Hunter stepped in and communicated regularly with us and kept us posted on any issue that arose. Had issue finding electrical parts to fix an issue, but Hunter kept us aware of the issues and informed us of his persistence to locate the parts, and for that I’m grateful. The jeep was eventually fixed and cost less than the original quote and was repaired sooner than I thought given the staffing shortages. I have no issues with the repairs done and am impressed with how quickly the jeep was repaired. If another situation occurs I’d use Peters again but upon arrival I’ll avoid Jason at all costs.

Best place to buy a car in ETX hands down. James Frank has helped my entire family get into new cars for YEARS. I give Peters 4 stars for the service department. They work at their own pace and arent always the nicest of people. I understand sometimes things happen and you are busy, but you never tell a customer they shouldnt have been scheduled when theyve waited 3 weeks for their appointment and taken every proper step to be sure the car could be serviced on that particular day. If I didnt trust the other departments and Peters as a whole, I would take our vehicles elsewhere for service.

My wife called the finance department yesterday to inquire about our extended warranty, NO HELP.I called and spoke with Ash in the service department today, gave her my name and approximately when I bought my truck and my concern about warranty. I had barely finished speaking when she was giving me the information on MY different types of warranty along with the date and mileage their expiration. Ash was super friendly and very helpful. All I wanted to know up front was how much an oil pressure sensor replacement would cost for my vehicle. Instead I was roped into a $125.00 diagnostic fee based on the service reps assumption that some other parameter could be causing the engine code on my 2007 suburban. I reluctantly agreed and as I expected the shop came back with the answer that the sensor needed to be replaced. For $500.00! If the service rep would have given me a cost for that particular repair from the start as I requested I never would have proceeded with the diagnostic. I will never use peters again for anything due to the service rep not listening to what I was requesting and Peters lack of up front pricing on their services. Very shady business practices at this dealership.

The service rep was there to greet me for my appointment, I asked how long would it take to service my truck and she told me between an hour or an hour in a half, my truck was done less than that excellent job guys. Larry Haranda is the nicest person and he sent me all the information that I asked for. He was quick to respond and never left my questions unanswered. He treated me with respect and that is hard to find these days. I will go back to Peters for my next vehicle and I hope that Larry is still there. I’ve used Peters Chevrolet service department since 2014. The actual time for servicing my truck has been quicker than expected. There has always been a practice to protect the inside of my truck from dirt and grime. The service or repair has been complete, I’ve never had to return my truck because I was not satisfied with the work performance.Joe

I bought a NEW 2020 Chevy Box Truck in December. I have always purchased my vehicles at Peters (7). I bought it at night and I didn’t test drive it (my bad). I mounted my equipment in it and started using it right away. It rained the next few days and then we had the big snow storm. I noticed a yellow tinge on the bottom of my drivers side door. I just thought it was road film. After the snow melted, I washed it and realized that what looked to be road film was actually where the door had been damaged and someone had poorly fixed the dents and painted it with what appears to be spray paint that doesn’t come close to matching. I take it back and talk to the service manager. He said he would take care of it. Three weeks later I still haven’t heard from him. I call Randy Peters and get his voicemail. Three weeks later and he still hasn’t called back. I finally texted the phone service manager and he says I can bring it in on a Monday and maybe I will get it back by Friday. My equipment is permanently mounted inside the truck and without it I can’t work. I will lose between $750-$1,000 per day. I also didn’t pay for a used, dented door. I paid for a new one.I also had to have my front end aligned and replace two front tires due to the truck not being properly aligned. Two days lost work, two front tires and alignment equals $2,500.00FIX IT, PETERS.
