From the moment I walked into the front door a representative welcome me in. Ask what I was looking for in a new bed. I told them what I wanted and why. They set me up in a bed, found my sleep number right away. Then they had me try out several other beds and how they worked and what each bed offered . I even watched a short video. I’ve already recommended several people to just go in and try the beds out. I felt no pressure to buy, I didn’t feel rushed and I tried out several beds twice. When I decided on the right bed for me it was a very timeless process. Now I’m just waiting for my bed to arrive.Thank You

I called ahead to see if I needed an appointment, but not needed if I came in within the hour, which I was planning. Was greeted by woman I spoke to on phone. I was looking for a Twin SmartIQ bed with adjustable base, but told that bed only made in TwinXL size. Since the twinXL is the same as half of the king size bed, she directed me to relax on the same mattress I was interested in. She explained the SmartIQ application and bed adjustments.I had owned a Sleep Number bed from 2010 until 2015 and loved it, but was so heavy to move. After 5 moves by inexperienced movers, the adjustable controls stopped working. A part was also lost that allowed proper number inflation/deflation of mattress. I asked the salesperson about the base and mattress I was buying and explained my past problems. She explained the new beds have all the base adjustable controls enclosed, and inflation hose position moved, making location moves of the new bed styles safer for the electronics. That was good news to me.I loved my previous Sleep Number bed and didnt want to get off the store bed as I was ready to spend the night on it. My health has drastically changed this past year, partly due poor sleep issues, and need to get back to having quality sleep. This bed will go in my spare bedroom/TV room where I can use it in the warmer months (March-Nov) or give me another option if I cant get to sleep in my queen platform bed, which I wasnt ready to part with just yet.My only complaint regarding my store visit and purchase, is that I mentioned I had an additional $50 off coupon for bed, even though the bed I was buying was already on sale. I told her about the coupon when I came into the store, and reminded her a couple times as she was placing the order. I guess my focus was more on qualifying for the 3-yr, no interest financing more than the order total. It wasnt until I got home, that I took a closer look at my paperwork to learn I was never given that additional $50 off. If you go in with a $ off coupon, be sure you see you are credited with it on your purchase invoice. Live and learn. Also, the sales rep will probably try and sell you items (you may not need) to go with your bed/purchase. For me, it was extra pillows. I have so many pillows I cant use, and require one special pillow I already have for using CPAP and neck problems. Dont be afraid to say NO!

Great experience at the Longmont store. The demo bed was fun and informative, and it was great to to able to try out all the different options after researching them online. It was also good to be able to try different combinations of pillow types with bed types...it actually makes a difference!

My sister went in and purchased a body pillow only to be given the wrong product. We let them know and they told us to bring it in so that the right one could be ordered since it wasn’t in stock. When we got there Monique was more than helpful and was able to get us the correct pillow that was actually in stock at the store. Thank you so much for a lovely experience! You rock Monique

Our experience here was positive! We ended up getting a screaming deal the weekend we went in. There are flash deals often there. If you wake up sore in the morning this is the place to go! The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and cared about getting you the best bed for your needs.

I went into the store looking for a new bed. I was promptly greeted by a sales rep and he introduced me to 2 beds one of which was 360 bedding system. To me both of the beds that I was shown were comfortable. The motor used for pnuematic inflation was quiet and the mattresses that I laid upon gave me the needed support. The newer technology allowed me to operate either of the beds from a my smart phone or tablet. The store atmosphere was conducive to a good sleeping experience. Last, the sticker shock inclusive of the most recent sale wasnt bad for the beds I tried. Either bed was between $1900 to $2600 out the door cost with a life time warranty for support and service. Since I am a guy who is 6 feet tall my feet didnt hang off the end of the bed. It was a totally comfortable experience. The bed product is modular allowing for more than one chamber to be added. My experience in the Longmont store was totally positive.

The staff, Brandon, was excellent.The business model needs work. Sleep Number advertised a BED for a stated price. The bait and switch is when you are told the advertised bed is the mattress only -- no foundation; and the price is double the advertised price.A mattress is a mattress and a foundation is a foundation. Combined, they make a bed.Nowhere in the television advertisement, or on the webpage, does it state that the foundation is not included.

The mattresses and technology seem great based on Consumer Reports but the sales tactics are disappointing for a reputable store. They advertise mattress prices that may not cover half of the total cost for a mattress purchase. The prices for the base, which includes the required pump is not included in the mattress price and neither are the remotes for controlling mattress firmness.

The Longmont Store:Brandon and Nicole are patient, knowledgeable, and really nice. They both spent a lot of time explaining the differences between the mattresses as we tested just about every one in the store.Sleep Number Policies:Sleep Number is Corporate America. They do not make exceptions. If you come in to the store and it happens to be the last day of a big sale, and you would like a day or two to think about making an $8500 purchase at the sale price, forget it. Unlike other locally owned mattress stores, they will not accommodate.They also do not accommodate delivery options. The window is three hours and they do not call you with the particular window until two days before delivery date. However, once you get your window, the Delivery Team keeps you updated regarding arrival time.The Mattress:We ordered the ILE and we are happy with the the ability to change the firmness of the mattress. We love the Zero G setting for relaxing right before falling asleep, and the mattress feels cooler than our previous memory foam mattress. It does however feel like a very expensive, over priced air mattress (even with 6 inches of foam). On the other hand, we have been sleeping better and waking up with less aches and pains!The Flex Fit Frame with foot warmer:We are disappointed with how the frame works. We ordered the split frame thinking that the head would work independently of the legs and understanding that the legs would be “tied” to each other. Don’t even consider this configuration. The head does work independently, however, If you are considering this configuration, be aware (we were not) that all of the PRE SET functions (except for the lay flat function) do NOT work independently if the position involves the legs. So if you want to pre-set your favorite reading position and that position involves the legs, then your favorite position will raise your partner’s side as well. Same with the ZERO G PRE SET. Hit the ZERO G PRE SET, and both sides of the bed go into the ZERO G position, and so on. This is obviously not an ideal design for two people who do not necessarily want to read, sleep, or go into the zero G position at exactly the same time. The solution to this problem is to purchase two twins and go with a full split. We ended up trading in our half split for two twins. The pricing is the SAME!! We really wish the Sleep Number store had sold us the two twins in the first place. Would have saved all of us a lot of time and trouble.There are two other issues with the Flex Fit frame that we didn’t think of until after purchasing it. The first is that the Reading Position works best at a Sleep Number Setting of 100. Lower settings are too squishy and provide no support. So if you read a lot, this means going back and forth between settings daily or even twice a day. The second issue is that the head moves quite a bit forward as it moves up. So once it reaches the full reading position, we noticed that our nightstands are no longer within reach. This is REALLY annoying (deal breaker for us). Something to take into consideration if there are items on your night stand that you like to get to or see (like your clock, cell phone, glass of water, etc).The Sleep IQ APP is pretty easy to use. However, you cannot use it to move both sides of the bed at the same time though; we learned this from Tech Support.The foot warmer is amazing and totally worth its astronomical price point. LOVE itConclusion:We are happy with the mattress, the coolness feature, the ability to change the firmness of the bed, and the foot warmer. If there was an option to return the Flex Frame, we would exchange it for the standard frame. If we had it to do over again, we would skip the Flex Frame and instead use wedge pillows to prop ourselves up with which would be a heck of a lot cheaper and just as comfortable.
