These guys are honest and professional. I needed my timing belt replaced on a 2003 Highlander (the full kit). A week or two after doing that, I started to notice brand new engine noises which sounded a bit like a dried-out-bearing or water pump. It was very subtle, not super loud but as the owner of the vehicle, I knew it was new. They agreed to have the mechanic listen the next day, but they could not hear what I was hearing (I was not there). I drove it another week or so and then went back while the noise was apparent, and I was there. They got their stethoscope out and then had the mechanic listen also. They all agreed it was indeed something. Since the noise was new since the timing belt, they ordered another full kit, tore it down and put the new kit in. Problem solved - engine is MUCH quieter. They did this all free of charge. I want to extend a special thanks to the mechanic for doing this all over again! Thank you one and all! Super service!

My battery died on the road just north of here, power steering locked up and I managed to get it into the parking lot. Brian and Matt got a new battery in it, cleaned everything up and sent us on our way without upcharging anything even though we walked in desperate an hour before close. Great experience

Car died out on 287 and my boyfriend turned into the first parking lot we could find. Luckily- it turned out to be an auto shop. It was near close but Brian and Matt were awesome. They didnt try to upsell us on anything we didnt need and speedily replaced & cleaned the cars battery. Great customer service and made a terrible situation so much better.

Ok stay with me because this is going to sound like they paid me to write this glowing review but I promise, I’m not a paid sponsor. I’ve been to Pride Auto Care twice and have been beyond impressed. They are thorough, communicative, and above anything else, honest and transparent. The first time I went I was looking to buy a used car off of Craigslist and they took photos alongside the inspection and made sure that I wasn’t going to be purchasing a money-pit of a used car. They gave me honest advice and really made sure my best interest was taken care of. Fast-forward to me being over the Craigslist car game and had gone through CarMax to purchase a 2013 Chevy Sonic and with that, I paid for the Max Warranty. When I had some oil problems with cracked caps, leaks, and what not CarMax earnestly tried not to uphold their side of my warranty bargain. Brian (the manager at Pride) willingly was my middleman and got CarMax to pay for a LARGE portion of the repairs. He absolutely did not need to do that. To say that I’m satisfied is an understatement. I cannot imagine taking my car anywhere else.

DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU ARE RICH AND STUPID I took this car there with a very specific problem after being seen by a mechanic and getting a new battery and alternator. The car needed a new radiator or new hoses as much. Period. Somehow they turned this into a $1800 repair which I refused. The only reason I took my car there is cause It was conveniently close and it has a DECEIVING 4.8 star review lok... but Lets start by the $77 bux they charged me just to see exactly What I told em and to let em tried to charge me $1800 for what I know is a $400-500MAX repair. What a rip off. CROOKS.

Called early AM to get tires, they had them installed and ready to go that afternoon. Great communication and great service.

Long story short... A person purchasing a used vehicle from me took it here for an over all inspection. They did a great over all job but had a minor cosmetic hiccup happen during the process. We all make mistakes, but very few of us take 100% full responsibility for them. Brian (the manager) not only called me when it happened (so I wouldn’t have to find out in my own), but he took every right step to make sure it was fixed and I was happy. It’s nice to see a business that still looks out for the little guys. My wifes car wouldnt start, I thought we would drive my van by Pride Auto Care even though it was 15 minutes past closing. Brian was closing up shop, he was kind enough to follow us up the street to the car wash where the car was located. He brought a battery check/jump kit, unfortunately it didnt work (bad starter). But thats the kind of service everyone wants from their mechanic, they got my business.

I called Pride about a brake issue and they were able to look at it the next morning. Bryan was friendly, professional and accommodating on the phone. I ended up deciding to do the fairly simple repair myself and even though I offered to pay for the diagnostics they insisted the break check was free!

I only have great things to say about Pride Auto Care-they answered my many phone calls with patience while I was arranging towing, and remembered me each time. They got me in right away, diagnosed my car (had to get a new starter), and then finished the job that same day. They communicated with me each step of the way, and put my keys in the box so I could pick it up later in the night. Highly, highly recommended, I am so grateful for them and if I ever get stuck in Longmont again, they will be my place to go!

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!I came in on april 1st too get an estimate on how much a brake job would be on my 2002 Nissan Maxima, and they removed my tires...First off, they were trying to charge me 780$ for all 4 brakes and rotors(outrageous price).During this inspection one of the mechanics cross threaded my lug nut and bolt, now when i tried to do my own brakes, i could no longer remove my tire, so i go in today to try and have them fix the problem they created and they charged me 106$ for a 10$ part fix!!!!!! THEY CREATED AN ISSUE AND THEN CHARGED SO MUCH FOR THAT ISSUE!!!!! DO NOT SHOP HERE IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WELL TREATMENT OF YOUR CAR.

We did not personally have service done by them, but talk about customer service mentality!!!! My daughter was involved in a rear ended car accident. We drove over to Pride Auto for an assessment of the damages to see if they could repair the damages. They took a look to determine it was out of their realm or abilities to repair the damages. We contacted our insurance provider to determine the extent and to whom we should have the damage addressed. Not only was Pride Auto of Longmont able to offer others to address the damage, but they allowed us to keep the car in their lot until we were able to have it towed by our insurance carrier, which was close to a week . We live an hour fifteen from Longmont, but boy talk about service extraordinaire! A shout out to Bryan and Megan for their willingness to help us and give suggestions for other service providers. Also, the personnel that assessed the damages to help in determining the extent were amazing!!! Top notch for sure!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! My brother had gone in to have his breaks done and they cross threaded his lug nut and then charged him for the repair. Very unprofessional business they are running.

I’ve taken vehicles here several times and always had a great experience and the prices are reasonable. Today I took my van in with a small problem and the manager just grabbed some tools and fixed it in about 10 minutes at no charge. Wow.

I have been bringing all my familys vehicles to DeMers for over 12 years. DeMers is the only shop I trust. They dont try to sell me what I dont need. The work is always done right. The work is done quickly. They keep track of everything that has been done, and if something is under warranty for three years, for example, but needs replacing during the warranty, they know and the work is done for free. I dont trust anybody else to do even an oil change (after several bad experiences elsewhere). DeMers provides my family with top quality maintenance and repairs, and they are honest and trustworthy.

Im new to town and my car was making a weird noise that was getting worse. I knew I had to get it checked out but its hard to find a auto shop you can trust to be completely honest with you especially when you know nothing about cars. I looked up a couple places and this was the only place that was open. I stopped by and even though they were closing for the day they took a look. They were extremely nice and spent thirty minutes fixing my car and at the end didnt charge me.Three months later my car starting making another noise. I knew exactly where to go. They were very busy but let me come in that day. Once again they were very nice and I knew I could trust them. They fixed my car that day even though it needed a new part and everything. They werent pushy and were very honest with me. They even worked around my schedule and offered to give me a ride. DeMers Auto helped me tremendously when I was having car trouble a day before I left for a roadtrip. They made my difficult day a lot easier! LOUD rear wheel bearings led to my frazzled nerves, but I walked out of there with a smile on my face and very quiet car. What a great team. They really go the extra mile for their customers. My wife and I have been wanting a RV for about 20 years. This spring we were finally able to make it happen. To stay close to our budget we bought a 94 F-350 to pull our 5th wheel. We knew it would need work being that old. We took it in to them to have it checked out before our first big trip in our RV. They found several issues that would have been a big safety concern on our 2000 mile trip. They kept us informed and sent pictures of all the issues they found, their mechanic stayed over the weekend working on our truck to make sure it would be ready in time for our trip. The truck worked beautifully on the trip. Ill definitely be recommending them to anyone who needs a good honest shop, and Ill be taking my business back to them in the future.

Took my vehicle in for service, they said dont need the differntials are fine, transmission fluid was getting dark, and battery was only about half what it should be. always good to work with these people. planning a long trip and glad they caught the battery before it wouldnt start some place in the middle of no where. they are great

Price Raping on Parts: Beware...check out the price of your part first, a small mark up is common, but 30% is robbery....they are mechanics....they charge a hourly rate for the work. That is where they are supposed to make their money.This shop charges 30% up charge on the parts they put on your car. A unknowing person could end up paying hundreds of dollars on a major repair just due to that fact. We planned on having him do some work on our Ford F150, he is pleasant and the shop looked nice. We have a extended warranty on our vehicle and he called them while I was in the shop. He told them he charged $115 a hour for labor, and would get a estimate worked up for parts and full repair of the turbo charger on our truck. We left it there and he knew that we were from Florida and trying to get back home. We left his shop at 10:15 am and at 330 pm when we hadnt heard anything from him, I called to see how things were going. He told me that he kept getting interrupted and hadnt called our warranty company back for final approval and hadnt done anything. I reminded him that we really needed to be back on the road home by the end of hte next day. He called a few minutes later and told me that I would need to get on the warranty company because they didnt like the price. Our truck has two turbos and the passenger side was done two weeks ago, so I had a good idea what it should cost. (Our warranty paid for it), I contacted the warranty company the price they were asking was ridiculous. The parts were way out of line and the warranty company told me that there was no way they would pay that price. He cost us a total day of waiting and he didnt do anything but try to stick it to our warranty company, and to myself for the parts they wouldnt cover. We had to take our truck back from them and start over with another mechanic in town. His prices were approved the very same morning, and he charge the same $115 for labor. He got our parts from the very same place the other guy would have....but didnt try to screw us on the price of them. They over priced themselves out of a job. Thankfully we had our warranty company to look after us...if not, we might not have known. I have a large family that lives in the area....he wont see anymore of our families vehicles.

$160 to put on brake pads that I had already purchased?! Claimed it was because I make money off purchasing parts too. Sad to see bottom line infiltrate so high into someones business model. And to charge over an hour for installing brake pads, severely overpriced. I wouldve been a loyal new customer with a lot of return business having just got a new job in the area. Front desk person was the ONLY highlight to the experience.

Demers has been my familys go to mechanic 25 years, because we have always received excellent service and well running vehicles. I trust them 100% as they have always been honest, backed up their work and gone out of their way to provide great service. That is rare!

I brought my car in to Marv with a loud clunking sound coming from the front passenger side of my Mazda 3. I had already had the problem looked at by another local shop and they couldnt find the issue. But Marv and his team took the time and expertise to locate the problem and fix it. Marv DeMers could have charged me way more than he did, but he treated me fairly and has earned a customer for life.
