I came to Carbon Valley Garage by referral to have my turbo repaired. After initial inspection it was determined to need replacement. I was told it would be ready mid week the following week. Kris gave me a ride back to work, which I thought was really nice considering I work right up the street. When I called to check up on my car on Thursday, the person who answered was a bit rude, but also said he was figuring out why the new turbo was leaking coolant. (My guess is he was frustrated and didnt want to stop to talk about it.) All in all though, it was good service and everyone was nice. I would recommend Carbon Valley Garage to anyone needing service.

Good honest bunch of guys that didnt try to sell you something you didnt need, upsell you with useless services, and genuinely cared. Fair. They actually listen also.I work on most of my own stuff and very rarely need to use outside help mostly because of the dishonest shops that are out there. Moved to the area a year ago and one of the most difficult things to do is to find the right mechanic. These guys were professional, friendly and helpful. It was a fairly simple repair, but they also checked the vehicle over and took the time to explain their findings without pressuring me to address any of the issues. I will be back!

I had a great customer experience with Carbon Valley Garage! They got the extensive repairs that I needed to my car done within 24 hours and I gave me a loaner car so that I could get to work! Also the actual cost, luckily was about 15% less than expected! They also advised me as to what my car will need in the future!

Ive used Carbon Valley in the past and been pleased with their work. However this time they didnt fix the problem. Headlights stay on even after truck is turned off. Carbon Valley could not pinpoint the reason. Was told it MIGHT be a part that would cost over $2000. Paid over $200 for no resolution to the problem, with only a suggestion of what it might be. Mark did try to find the part, but was told part is no longer in production. He also gave a suggestion that maybe a computer repair company could fix the potential problem. Basically no better off than when I took the truck in. Now have to pay someone else to hopefully fix the problem.

As always Carbon Valley Garage did a great job. I cannot thank these guys for all they do for us. What a pleasure to have such an excellent establishment to deal with. Thanks again Kris and mechanics. Dan T

Carbon valley garage has been very pleasant to work with. They replaced the spark plugs on my f150 and found a oil leak I was unaware of. The gave me mutiple fair qoutes for work on my wifes jeep, they offer fair reasonable prices so far each has been less then any dealership I have cross shopped. I plan on using them many more times in the future.

It’s nice to have a shop that is interested in helping the customer save money. Kris took the time to answer all my questions and offered options to try and help. It looks like in my case this is going to be a costly repair but the personal interaction has instilled a sense of trust that I have not found anywhere else. I dropped my car off requesting a TUNE UP. Like other shops, they found everything else wrong with my car AND I DIDNT GET THE TUNE UP! They kept my car for 24hrs and didnt do any repairs but charged me for diagnostics check that I DIDNT REQUEST OR NEED! Never Again!!!!

Probably fine for oil changes and other routine maintenance. Brought my car that my son wrecked in a snowstorm here, and they took 3 months to complete what should have been a much shorter job. They blame the body shop. I blame poor project management. A series of calls that said Itll be done Friday was the norm. They also did not call for authorization to change scope -- but they did call to say they changed scope and price from the original estimate. Not going back.

These guys are heroes! I was traveling from out of state along I-25 and stopped at Exit 243 when my brakes went out. Carbon Valley Garage was the nearest auto repair shop. I pulled in and they immediately came to my rescue! They took time out of their very busy schedule, fixed the brakes and had my vehicle ready within 90 minutes of arriving. I started binging my car back when it was Hometown Garage, however when Andrew took over the business, he was able to make it the very dependable, and trusting shop that everyone aspires to do business with! The customer service is unparalleled, and the repairs are fairly priced and DONE RIGHT the first time. Major work was done on the engine in my LS-2 powered 2006 GTO, and it has performed FLAWLESSLY! His many years of muscle/classic car restoration experience stated on the biography on the home page shows, and even though most of their repairs are fleet-oriented, they are also performance specialists, so bottom line, I would not trust anybody else working with my LS-2. Any LS-powered car belongs in this shop like Corvettes, Camaros and the likes. If I had a classic GTO, this would also be the place to bring it to. I live in Denver, but I would not let anyone else touch my car, since every repair was done properly and timely, never having to come back. I would STRONGLY recommend this shop! Motor heads....this should be your new go-to place!

Only problem I had was I was quoted a price but when I came in to pay it was $140 more, was told they forgot to tell me about the diagnostic charge - you really need to disclose all charges when quoting a repair
