They said it was my fuel pump, I paid for the diagnostics got a new fuel pump and it wasn’t that. My car still stalls, I honestly believe they didn’t even track down my problem cause my old fuel pump was still perfect.

Fantastic people. Looked over a Lexus that I thought about buying (pre-purchase inspection) and let me tell you these guys were great. Explained everything very clearly and even brought me back there to check under the car for different problems that I was concerned about. A little on the pricey side, but if you want something done well you gotta pay the price. And if I didn’t pay that price and get their great service I would currently have a $4,000.00 paper weight in my driveway. Thanks again

Absolutely the best place to have any planned or unplanned work done on your car! I bring all of my vehicles here and have never been disappointed. I always know exactly whats needed, what my options are, and the work done is exemplary and always done in a timely manner. They use factory parts for my vehicles and dont charge nearly as much as the dealer, and they stand behind all the work they do. I wouldnt trust anyone else to work on my cars!

I am very impressed with this shop. I had been going to another shop for years and heard about DAR and thought that I would give them a try. They gave me a list of the repairs (which were identical to the other shop) and they saved me lots of money. Since the initial visit, I have returned to get additional service. Again they were able to identify the issues and work with me without putting contingencies that I had to do everything else they wouldnt warrant the overall work.

I have taken my car to Bowen Street Garage a few times for maintenance and repairs. Every time I go there I am treated well and feel convertible. Dave is a pleasant and knowledgeable person, he makes me feel right at home. Love this place and recommend it to all my friends.

Nice neighborhood garage. Oil changes, maintenance, and full service repairs. Ive been very pleased with any work theyve done for me.

They fixed my botched ac compressor DIY attempt when I forgot to tell the place charging it for me that I had already added the correct amount of oil (locked the pump). They confirmed that my cheap import pump was shot, put a new oem one in for me, and probably didnt charge me for a bunch of diagnostic time. Its still working fine almost a year later.

While on a road trip, it became apparent from the sound and feel of my engine that my Honda fit needed new spark plugs. Andreas took care of my car same day, and its running happy and tight. I highly recommend this shop if you are in the area.

Loved my experience at Bowen Street Garage. They were super helpful and went out of their way to make sure I had a ride to and from the garage if needed. We had to get the timing belt and water pump replaced and we had done extensive research on pricing. They were EXTREMELY reasonable by far one of the best quotes we had gotten. The customer service was fantastic. The woman working in the office was super fun and explained everything they were doing in detail and handed us a sheet with all of the information itemizing EVERYTHING you were paying for so it really made sense how they got to the price. I would absolutely recommend Bowen Street Garage. They have earned our exclusive business for sure!

Worst experience ever, not worth a star. I brought my car as it didnt pass the emission test, 2 weeks later and $650 out, he couldnt fix the issue and had to call another mechanic to find out what the issue was. My car still doesnt pass the emission and he charged me $650. Dont bring your car there, you will waste money and time!!! On top of it he wanted to buy my car for $500, way to go Andreas Miller!!!

Ive been very happy with Bowen St. Garage. Theyve done a great job on my 1990 F350 and recently I have started having them work on my 2002 Acura as well (switching from Flatirons Acura due to a recent very bad experience there). A good honest business.

Terriblr experience, brought car in at 8, they called after 5 that they assumed they could keep it over night. Said i would hear from them in the morning, by noon went to get my car back. Should go to autozone for a free code check that takes 5 minutes, not a day and a half. And got a completely different issue that what Bowen street said. Part of a mechanics job is customer service, and letting people know what going on.

They can fix anything, or will tell you why they cant. Fair prices and good advice.

My car was mis-diagnosed by Bowen Street Garage or they failed to correctly diagnose it . After more than $2000 spent with them on engine work, it still needs an engine. Not a good use of my money to say the least. I asked for a break on the bill when he told me when I picked it up that it still smokes, same as when I brought it in. After whatever discount he extended in sympathy for my continuing problem, the bill was still higher than estimated, over $2000, and out he sent me without apology or regret expressed . Tough luck for me. Otherwise nice people. I wanted to run this by them before posting; my experience; I would much rather have a refund than tell of money and time lost, but I notice their website offers no option to email. Site wont let me choose zero stars for zero value received. Buyer beware. It was a costly experience for me.

I called in for a 100k mile tune up / all fluids changed as well as a purchase inspection. Think it ended up being $1000. I was quoted by Mushi Motors in Boulder $800. What I ended up getting was fluids chenged and he did fix a striped bolt on my front end trasfercase but a 30k mile tune up that was not to Toyotas specs. When asked what he does for preventative work he said if its not broke dont fix it. Do you use a torque wrench?no Well, my truck sounded liked a small person was playing the wash board under my truck and had to pay$250 for that. That would not have pissed me off but I told him the first time to take his time and please dont miss anything after he had to keep it a few extra days. I have had to replace now over $3500 in parts from wheel bearings brake lines, airfillters, driveshaft parts, cam shaft position sensor, gas pedal sensor and the list goes on. Think he is ok at wrenching but not preventative work or diagnosis. Sucked it could not work out but his price is way too high for the number of mistakes made. If I was to mess up working in some persons house I would have to fix it for free or would never get more work down the road. So, Im not going back tell I get at least a sorry.
