Have had my vehicles serviced there twice. Both experiences Mike has been knowledgeable, up front and honest. Today they repaired a seal on the differential they had replaced several months ago. The seals werent included in the warranty and I fully expected to pay but when I picked up my vehicle they said No charge! They have all my business from here on and I will refer them to anyone looking for an honest mechanic.

Had appointment, dropped off car the night before as instructed. called at noon next day and they didnt even know my car was there! Didnt look at my car until 4 and said it wouldnt be worked on until the next morning. No thanks. Went to get my keys and 3 guys who clearly worked there chatting up the front desk.. now I see how they spend their time. Save your money and time, go somewhere else. 👍

The owner is straight forward and honest. I typically do my own maintenance but on occasion don’t have the time needed to complete a project. I take my cars hear when that happens and they have never failed to get the job done correctly and for a reasonable price. I recently had my auto door latch replaced, other shops wanted to charge diagnostic fees and wouldn’t trust me when I had already diagnosed the failure. This shop was able to order the part, replace and also let an auto glass repair happen at the same time the latch was replaced in their shop. Thank you!

Took my 06 Grand Cherokee in to have upper and lower control arms installed. They were able to get 3 out of 4 installed and had issues with the bolts being seized on the drivers side. Went to pick up my jeep and Mitch explained what was going on and said to bring it back in a week. A week later I took my jeep back in and they were still unable to get seized bolts out (after soaking bolts for a week with pb blaster) so had to cut and get new bolts.I can honestly say I am very pleased with the work they did and the price was way better than what most shops quoted me. I will definitely be back when I need work done.

Looking for an honest mechanic? You found the right shop!Im picky. I rarely write reviews unless I feel very strongly about something. Mike is VERY honest! He really wants to do his best for his customers. He will take good care of you and charge you a reasonable price! I cant imagine every going anywhere else!

I had the best experience with this group! So friendly, helpful, quick, and thorough! My car runs just as well at 129,000 miles as it did at 60,000. Mitch was able to help me on the phone and follow up every step of the way. Not only did they go the extra mile and double check everything, but it was so much more affordable than the other shops that gave me quotes. I will recommend this place for sure!

They have Awesome customer service. Theyre not getting nickel-and-dime you to death, like those those commercialized mechanic shops. One day I went to Brakes Plus and they told me I had $2,000 worth of repairs that need to be done on my car. Im so glad I went and got a second opinion Automotive associates they told me was a $20 sensor that was throwing my car off. There might be a little bit of a wait for them to get your car its, because they are such a reliable mechanic shop. Honestly its worth the wait if you dont want to be taken to the cleaners with your car.

We take all 4 cars to Mike and Mitch. Mike, the owner is THE MOST HONEST and knowledgable and lowest cost Automotive TECH ANYWHERE. I have been around -- Christian Brothers all belong in JAIL -- purely criminal. Dakota Ridge Auto belongs in JAIL -- had a break job for $400 -- went to pick up and the NEW PRICE WAS $800. Mike has always given us a reasonable / LOW price on EVERYTHING -- about HALF PRICE of Christian Brothers, or Dakota Ridge Auto. I have never seen such a honest / knowledgeable shop. They should get 6 out of 5 stars, in my opinion. ...They even let you bring in your own parts -- no shop does this, because most shops make alot of money on parts... Mike is the BEST...

Hidden gem. Great service and a honest crew. Have done great work on both my 4Runner and Subaru Legacy. Anything from engine work to transfer case (lots of small stuff too). Usually pretty packed, so take that into account when you get work done. These guys have helped me so many times I can not recommend enough.

We decided to try this place because it had decent reviews. I called on a Tuesday and made an appointment to drop it off Friday. I dropped it off first thing Friday morning. They said they would give me a call that afternoon. Well, come Saturday morning I hadnt heard anything and they were CLOSED all weekend! I had to scramble to find a way to get my husband to work on Sunday and be able to take my kids to school on Monday. My husband has to work 48 hour shifts and I needed a car to put carseats in. I called first thing Monday and they said they were going to try to get to it that day. I said no thank you and went to get my car after getting my kids to school. They were not very apologetic and didnt seem to care about the inconvenience they caused me. They couldnt even look me in the eye to apologise. What horrible customer service. I would tell everyone to stay away from this place!

I took my truck in for running rough. The assistant Jose had it for several weeks (I told them no rush) and he tried a few things new cat, timing etc. and never figured it out. I picked it up $500 later and could barely drive it to the next shop. they had it a couple days and rebuilt the throttle body and it ran like a charm. Im sure the boss might have done a better job but a chain is only as strong as the weakest link..

I brought my 200 Durango in because the heat wasn’t working very well. I expected a bill around 1500 to 1800 dollars. When I picked up my car Dave explained to me that my radiator was cracked and when it got hot the antifreeze was simply escaping as steam, my final bill was just over $600, these guys are honest and extremely concerned about customer satisfaction

Hit and miss. My girl friend took her car there. When we called they gave us a good estimate, called for the part price, and completed the repair. I recently called to get an estimate for some work on my car, and the guy that answered acted like I was interupting something more important, and gave me a guess for the price range. Probably OK, but not sure.

DID NOT USE THIS SHADY CROOK. I wish I could give this worthless shop NEGATIVE STARS!! My father took his classic Daytona to this shop for a blown motor in 2016. They had problems finding additional parts and told him they were going to look for a salvaged Daytona for the parts. Some time later they found one but never started working on his car although he was told they were starting his car. His dream car with a ton of memories. My father passed October 2018. My father died without the pleasure of driving his most favorite car. Their lack of professionalism AND LIES ABOUT WORKING ON THE CAR took that from my father. We went to the shop same month to follow up and light a fire for them to work in the car. To date, he never did and has had the car for 2 years. OBVIOUSLY THIS SHOP LACKS THE KNOW-HOW FOR A FULL ENGINE REBUILD. When we showed up with a tow truck to get the Daytona and the crated engine, he allowed my father’s classic GARAGED Daytona to be damaged by hail and allowed the paint to fade. Wires were exposed to the elements. I did not know it was being stored outside. I don’t live anywhere close to this shop. He breached a verbal contract of my father and of myself by failing to work on the car. He had all kinds of excuses- but managed to work on other cars. This unprofessional business claims they were never paid for anything. THEY DIDN’T DO ANYTHING SO WHY WOULD THEY BE PAID??? Further the dishonest owner makes the claim he stored it for 2 years. Ummmm, THE CAR WASN’T TAKEN TO YOU TO STORE OUTSIDE WHEN IT HAD BEEN PREVIOUSLY GARAGED. IT WAS TAKEN TO YOU TO BE REPAIRED. YOU DO KNOW THAT’S WHAT YOUR SHOP CLAIMS IT DOES, RIGHT???? He failed to properly care for a car in his possession and will not make any form of compensation. Yes, we are suing and it’s my goal to teach him a HUGE financial lesson about customer service. This is for you daddy!!

Stay Away. Go anywhere else. I ran a shop for years and these guys are just bad. Had my newer F150 in for a oil change a week later I have a coolant leak. Ok no big deal. Take it back to them the diagnose a coolant line assembly as the leak they quoted the part pretty high so I went to ford and got it way cheaper which is crazy at dealer pricing anyways no big deal dropped it off and was told its FIXED 1 week goes by exact same leak. Take it back and now the coolant tank is leaking odd clearly a mis dignoses. Anyways $400 for that and I go in and am told by the service writer when questioned about the mis dignoses that they where both leaking ? So I asked why did you not fix it when you had it ? He said it was not leaking at that time clearly BS so I ask to speak to the owner MIKE. He comes out does not even bother to take a huge dip out of his mouth real pro. Anyways he tells me well he was not sure so tried to save me money by just doing the line knowing the other one was leaking to see if it would stop. 1st of all it’s my decision to see what I want to fix not them and he clearly caught him self up because either he is lying or the service writer. Either way not what you want in a shop. Since they charged me both times for the guesses and offered nothing even so much as a apology I will be telling the community to stay away from this place.

Meh. Bought a car, was excited, worked for about 6k miles and then I noticed the tires were balding. No big deal. I went to get new tires and was informed that the alignment was way off, that it needed a CV boot and tie rods. Also - the passenger headlight went out two days after I got it (had a loose wire that I kept fiddling with to get the light to work for about a week before the connection went out). Then the catalytic convert kept tripping the Check Engine light. So...a $5800 car I bought and was told shes good to roll, you shouldnt have any issues ended up costing me about 1600 within 3 months of purchasing (and is in the shop again). I like Subarus, but you can buy one off craigslist for $3500 (at least my model) and then you still have money to spare and hey, the difference between their pricing is extra change for random fix ups.

Horrible! I went there because they are in network for my warranty. My first visit they dismissed my complaint after having my car for the better part of the day and didnt turn in the inspection notes to my warranty company. I went to another shop that equally crappy and problem persisted. When I returned to have the issue repaired It cost me over $200 out of pocket because the warranty company denied my claim due to this shops inability to let them know I had originally visited them to have service. They called and said they thought they put contaminated brake fluid in the system, which it turns out they did. Now I have to replace the hoses on the brake system and due to their total ineptness SILVER ROCK wont pay for it under warranty. What a complete rip-off establishment! DO NOT GO HERE!
