Nick did an amazing job at powder-coating a big brake kit for me. He did a two stage powder with two layers of clear, and it came out amazing! Nick takes pride in his work and I would highly recommend working with him.

I want to give a huge shout out to the owner Nick! I called an early morning for a quote on my bike. We suggested I bring it by to get a better quote. Once I got there later on in the afternoon, he was very knowledgeable and welcoming. I dropped off the bike with him expecting completion to be around 2 weeks out. I received a call much sooner than the completion date. The moment I seen the exhaust I knew he listened to exactly what I wanted. I suggest everyone at minimum to meet him and go over what you’d like done. His crew and himself do amazing work! I’ll be bringing it back for a few more custom designs soon.

I had upgraded some exhaust parts on my BRZ that resulted in a pretty nasty rasp in the midrange. I decided adding a Vibrant resonator was my best chance to bring the sound back to something reasonable. Nick was able to get it done quickly, cleanly, and the welds look fantastic. Exhaust note is smooth and sporty now, I love it! I had an opportunity to see some other projects and the man is an artist. Two thumbs up.

Called companies small and big, for a couple of days. Save your time and trust my review. Nick is the best Titanium welder in town. His shop says it specializes in motorcycles but trust me he does great work on Euro cars as well. I didnt just find a good shop to do custom titanium work for me. Where to start? First, Nick is great. I was looking for a custom subframe for my 82 Virago for a long time before I found 485 designs. I saw one of Nicks bikes in an article on the web and couldnt believe that 485 was local in Colorado. I reached out to Nick and got a response from him within a day. Nick said I could order something from the website, or because I was local, come to the shop and talk about some custom work. Ummm, yes I as going to come to the shop! Every boys dream, right... I had an idea of what I wanted and it was awesome to be able to talk with Nick about the details. Once I told him what I was looking for, I let him run with it. Nick did a custom subrame and battery tray (powder coated) for my bike. He lifted the fuel tank, rerouted some wiring, and made a custom exhaust. Heres the best part, Nicks pricing is very reasonable. If youve dug around the internet for custom or aftermarket motorcycle parts, then you know how expensive they can be. For around the same price as something basic, sitting on a warehouse shelf, I got custom parts, specific to me, and I got to be part of the design. Im more than happy with the work. I will definitely use him again and again!

After an unfortunate turn of events, I ended up with a broken bellhousing on my s4 transmission. A couple buddies of mine said I could get it welded if I was able to find a good welder to do it, so I hit up Nick at 485. He was able to weld it all back together and I had my transmission back (and in one piece) by the next day. Super cool guys and an absolutely awesome shop. If you need anything welded or fabricated they can do it! And an added bonus is getting to see some pretty sweet s4s and bikes while youre there. Thanks again guys!

Im a big fan of 485 design, I ordered an exhaust for my 82 xv750 and he did not fail to deliver price was fair and the product is prestine fit like a glove and makes my bike sounds incredible. Not to mention the incredible weight savings. All together fire product and its only going to get better!

Incredible experience working with Nick on a custom midpipe for my mk7 Golf R. Im very pleased with the finished product. First class craftsmanship and attention to detail. Found them through Social Media and was amazed at their quality of work shown through photos. When I went to their shop to inquire about some fab work the quality and amazing attention to detail on their work in person was exactly what was posted in the photos I had saw. Pricing was very reasonable and done in the amount of time they had promised. Definitely going to be using them in the future.

Im working on a 1995 Virago (XV750), I was quite struggling with the rear swing arm till I came across with the 485 solution, it arrived all the way to Israel, saved me a lot of trial and error and fit perfectly to my project. Thanks.

Nick at 485 designs is hands down the best fabricator in Colorado. Adjusted my current exhaust which did not fit and fits perfectly now. Sounds incredible too!
