Everyone was super nice and professionally, but they were short a tech and it took 1.5 hrs for my oil change. They told me upfront the situation so I waited. Maybe when they know they are running late, they should phone the customer and tell them to adjust their arrival time. But everyone wasfriendly and apologied for the wait. I will probably use your service again.

Driving through town had to return some suits, and needed an oil change before heading to Chicago. I looked online and they were booked until 2:00 PM, and I decided to walk in at 10:00 to see if I could get in. The manager said he had a cancellation and could pull me in right away. Quick service, also love that they send you a report of how your vehicle is. Very cool.

So far I have had to use Meineke Car Care service @ 12300 W 95th St, Lenexa Ks twice and each time the staff was very courteous and knowledgeable. The work they performed on my vehicle was done professionally and in a timely matter and the prices are fair. I would recommend them anytime.

Woke up to a flat tire and called this location, they said to bring it in and they got it in right away, within half an hour. Ended up needing new tires, which was expensive as to be expected, but they never pressured me or anything. Checked with me on the price before they did anything, and were very nice and helpful. Quick and competent! Excellent service from staff here on 9/27/2021!

I went to get my tires rotated and balanced. I was given one price for that service, then they came to me and said one of the bolts on one of my tires was bad. They charged an extra $100 dollars just to add one single bolt. These types of companies do this all the time. You go in for one service, and they find something else to “fix” so they can make more money off of you. Please stay away from these places. If you have a dealership, or a mechanic you trust, consult with them first before doing anything to your car because Meineke is just looking to make money. Very dishonest and I’ll never go back!!!

Do not use this company!!! All I wanted was an oil change. They tried to sell me a break job for my front breaks saying everything needed replaced. $415. Telling me I’m getting the best deal and a discount. When I declined, they sent a sales person out to try to SCARE me into it, saying my breaks will lock up at anytime now and how dangerous is was. Took my vehicle to get a second opinion of a trusted mechanic and NOTHING needed replaced. Places like this are the reason car mechanics get a bad reputation!!!!!

I ended up going to the wrong location, but they still got me in when they easily could have turned me away. The man at the desk was very kind and kept a great conversation. They were also honest about my inspection. I definitely trusted what they had to say. Definitely will be returning!

This was my first time at Meineke they performed a 23 point inspection check oil change and tire rotation. They were very informative and did a great job for me thanks again Meineke I’ll be back.

Told them on Saturday we would pick up car on Monday, so later they called me 5 times while I was work to ask if I was coming to get the car....Showed up they left my drivers side window, which does not roll up, rolled down about half an inch. They rolled it down, saw it wouldnt go back up, left it alone. Very minor detail, what else might they overlook and not communicate? Been going for years, probably will not return.

These people worked with my after warranty company on fixing my car. The warranty company didn’t want to pay. This shop really worked hard to convince them to approve the repair. The repair was finally approved, and this place did a great job fixing my engine. They are very professional and friendly. This is not your typical Mienike. I recommend this shop.

I brought my Lexus CT here after it was showing a check engine light. The light had gone away but they were able to check the car’s memory and found the code. They communicated the fix to me and it was repaired within the next business day. Very happy with my exchanges with staff. They were professional and kind over the phone and in person. Highly recommend this location.Note: dealt with Silver Rock warranty company after purchasing a vehicle from Carvana. Meineke handled all communication with the company and all repairs were made free of charge. Incredibly simple process.

I took my car in for a oil change the first oil change mind you. The manager told my wife and I the car was in great shape 10 days later I have black smoke from my engine and black oil running f my car. All after a 23 point inspection and being told the car was in great shape. Now I need $2000 worth of car. I have taken it to other mechanics and they all said the same. Any leaks and cracked would have been found. They lied and said my wife brought it in in the first place cause it was driving ruff and we needed it checked out I have all there lies on paper. Not to mention the guys that work on the kids are fresh out of high school. I wish I could give them a negative star. The picture is after my oil change

I will not be returning here or recommend it at all. Customer service sucks. 1- you are not greeted by anyone, but you do get a hate look by sitting down and waiting for your turn, and then asked can I help you? 2- when picking up my car instead of giving the attention to me and discussing my car issues he was more worried about another customer who walked behind me. I brought my son’s friend’s car over for him. I noticed it needed a piece of pipe behind the muffler, and sounded terrible. About 12 inches long. Straight piece. Mechanic (nice guy) never checked muffler.They did not have correct pipes to fit. They found something that could work. Could. But that pipe needed to adjusted/bent. They did not have the tools to enlarge one end. I was told “mechanics needed to buy the tools.”Mechanic borrowed a tool from Autozone next door. Yikes. I was quoted 194.00 to fix pipe. Since it was for someone else/young kid, I figured “let’s get it fixed.”After nearly 3 hours, the truck is done. Pipe is on. Truck sounds terrible. Muffler needs to be replaced. Truck has 120k miles. (Not my vehicle).So, the problem was not appropriately diagnosed. The shop did not have correct parts, and obviously overcharged me for not fixing the actual problem. It took 3+hours. (They had VERY little business). They borrowed tools to try and patch it up. The former “muffler” shop could not figure out truck needed a muffler.I took truck to get price on muffler: 75 dollars LESS to get BOTH muffler and pipe replaced. Guy laughed at attempt to install pipe. While the people were nice at Meineke, it is a completely inept operation. Brutal experience; I felt sorry for them at the end of the day. Young workers trying to figure it out...This place is NOT set up for exhaust repair, clearly. The tools/supplies situation was really weird. Overall, a disappointing, expensive learning experience for me.

Be careful of getting an oil change here. They left the cap off of mine and I didnt find out until the next three days. There was oil everywhere that could have caused a fire.

They charged me $260 for freon and my AC still not working!!Then, they realize they are going to charge me $100/hour labor to diagnose the problem!

All of my family used to go here for any service but not anymore I went there for an oil change and the guy told me that I don’t have the choice to choose the one I want and he has to choose for me and I had to leave there and decided to go to the Burnett Automotive and they were amazing did oil change and other repairs that I needed . I won’t recommend going to Meineke especially this location if you are Muslim because I believed it was a discrimination act

I like Meineke. They are a good shop and they take care of their customers vehicles. Getting your vehicles serviced can be costly. You want to have it done right they got you.

Take my advice, do not take your vehicle there! Oil got changed, filter didn’t . And management is rude and on a defensive mode when you confront them.

I have a regular mechanic in Overland Park that I love but I wanted to use the $19.99 coupon for an oil change (that ultimately doesnt include all of the other services like fluid top off, tire pressure check, tire rotation etc. so you should probably pay more for the full service). The store manager was really nice and knowledgeable about cars. My experience was great until the end of the service - I was told that they were unable to remove the lugnuts for the Free Tire Rotation that comes with the $42 service I paid for. I have had my car maintenanced at least three times in the last few months (its a hand me down and I want it to last for me) and never has anyone had the same issue with my tires. My back two tires are almost brand new. I am concerned as there wasnt much of an explanation - I would have expected another complimentary service OR be invited back for the free tire rotation that was apart of what I paid for and did not get. I feel a bit cheated. That part is disappointing, so I would recommend going elsewhere if you want more than the $19.99 basic oil change. See pictures below of my perfectly fine tires.

Warning! Do not go here! They will create a problem. I wish I would have read the reviews first and avoided this place. Looks like they pulled weight out of the trash and used them on my truck tires and now it wobbles worse! The names on the inspection do not match the people who did the work.Was told the oil was milky this word is typically used to describe water in the oil usually a bad head gasket, also told the antifreeze was different colors.I pulled the dip stick in front of them and then was told I said discolored!Paperwork says milky! But it’s not milky.I think if you took a wheelbarrow here with a flat they would do a 50 point inspection and charge you a bunch to replace the muffler bearing!!!Now I have to worry about if they did something that will show itself in the future!And the responses from the owner? Rubber stamp.

Needed a turbocharger replaced and the whole process was so easy and quick. After the part came in it took a day to get it back and it’s not an easy replacement in a Ford. I sincerely appreciate the quick work because it’s my only vehicle and I work every day! Nicest staff too!

I was advised that a serpentine belt was due to be changed, I had it done in May. One would have thought they might ask ask an owner if such a service had already been done, this makes me question another service they said needed doing

My experience was a good one but the price seemed very high. A little over a year ago I purchased a package that discounted my oil changes to $16.95. My package expired a few months ago and I expected to pay between $55-60 for my oil change. The price I paid was $75 and that was after a $10 coupon. Next time, I’ll do some price shopping before booking an appointment.

Yesterday while at Meineke on 95th and Monrovia I hade your typical oil change and 23 point inspection. When it was over I proceeded to go home but then on my way out and stopping by Meineke come to find out the master cylinder top hasnt been placed back on, another one was purchased to replace that one.

I had a great experience getting repairs done at a fair price. Ill be back!

This company is a joke. They refused to give me an estimate for how much the diagnostic would cost, then informed me that it was $100 when other places would do it for free. Then they wanted to charge me $400 for two $15 parts that are easily accessible on the motor. They were trying to get me to change my converter for $1,500 when you could go and scrap the converter on it for half of the price of a new one! You could then use the extra $1,300 to go pay someone to cut it off and weld it on for you for a LOT cheaper than them. Save your time, money, and sanity and go somewhere else that wont try to rob your wallet.

This place wanted to charge me $1200 to replace a fuel pump. Are ya using gold tools? Gold parts? Why do you charge so much for a simple job? The part itself is $200 (Delphi part), labor maybe another $200. So $400 compared to $1200, ya im going with the other option. To top it all off over the phone you said the diagnostic would cost $75, when i got there you charged me $150, I will never be using this place again. If I could give no stars I would.

Fast service. Brought up that my car needed synthetic when I have been using conventional oil for years. Taught me a few key differences and some of the car myths I’ve heard about.

I had two problems, squeaky brakes and a loud humming sound coming from the engine, I told them I suspected it was a surpentine belt. They quoted me 400 for brakes and 700 for the humming sound, which they said was due to a surpentine belt and another issue with the brakes. I agreed to pay for all of it because they had a 0 percent deferred interest financing deal. When I picked up my car the brake problem was resolved, but the loud humming sound was still there. They offered to look at it again and suggested it may have been engine mounts, but I would have had to pay extra. I feel like I was screwed out of 700 dollars. Im never going back to a Meineke again.

Took my vehicle there for a break change. Front breaks were grinding so it need serviced. I have a trustworthy shop that usually does it but was unavailable. They told me that the back breaks need to be done as well with new rotors. Total over $600. I declined back breaks and went to have another shop review to see if I needed them done. I did NOT. I had over half life on pads and basically newish rotors. They try and get people who dont know about repair. Highly frustrated I paid them what I did for breaks on the front when there are lots of trustworthy shops that need business. DO NOT GO THERE or get a second opinion first. These are the shops that give autoshops a bad name!!!

I went in for an oil change and tire rotation, and this shop attempted to add $2,600 of needless repairs to my visit. I had to return after I had left because they kept the key for my anti-theft lug nuts. They aired my tires to different pressures, making the car ride differently. I will never return to this location or chain for vehicle repairs again.

Ive taken my car here several times to get my oil changed and theyve always been great, never tried to add on any extras until my last visit. Went in for an oil change and they told me that I needed new struts & new brakes $1200 estimate. My car is old but I remember that I had new brakes put on within the last 4 years or so. I went to get a second opinion and I now know that my brakes are only 50% worn and I dont need struts, I just need a $175 straddle bar. Sorry to say I wont be taking my car back here again.

Have been a valued customer there for years. Took my daughters car there to fix a flat. They lost the secured key lug nut. They denied they did. Had the the car there 6 months ago to put on new tires. They were the last people to touch the car especially the tires. The manager said not there problem. We dont guarantee lug nuts. Manager was rude and disrespectful. Left message for the owner no call back. Lost my business. They no clue about customer service.

Drawn in by a coupon and a friend raving about the price.. Was told one price $69 minus $10 for the coupon, so, &59 then was charged far more after the work was done $89. Parts and labor sited as the reason. It has been my consistent experience, driving and servicing my cars and trucks for 40 years that the price quoted for an oil change includes the parts and labor. What else is there in an oil change?? Oil a filter, perhaps a drain plug gasket and the labor to change it. This trip to Meineke cost $20 more than having my dealership do the work. And that includes $10 off. Oh, and they left greasy finger prints all over my freshly washed and waxed truck. Thanks Meineke.

The service and wait time isn’t bad, and they’re good when it comes to patching a tire, but they try to overcharge for simple stuff. I needed a new battery and had a taillight go out at the same, Meineke quoted me almost 300 for time and labor and parts, told me that was the going rate anywhere, and completely failed to mention I could buy both at the auto parts store next door and the guys there would install them for free. It only cost 160.

Brake light and turn signal both blew at 8am in the morning on the way to work. Set an appointment up with these guys same day at 2:00pm and they had it fixed in time for me to get back before my lunch hour was up. Much appreciated.

Went here for an oil change today. Presented a coupon for a $20 oil change at checkout. No problem right? Wrong. The man behind the counter said he couldn’t honor it because they already performed the service for the ticket they created when I came in and he couldn’t change it. It had to have been presented at the beginning. So I ended up having to pay $40 instead. What’s the big deal? The coupon was for a basic oil change using synthetic oil. I got the basic oil change with synthetic oil. Moral of the story...he wouldn’t honor it because he didn’t want to. He said if I present the coupon next time when I get checked in, he’ll honor it. Well, there won’t be a next time. I won’t be back. I generally don’t get bent out of shape over $20, but why not just honor it when a customer presents a coupon from your website you should honor it...no matter when it’s presented.

I went to this location and at first the customer service was good and I thought they had solved the problem. After I got the car and drove on the hwy I realized the tires needed balancing. The location had rotated the tires and I had never asked them to do that. They wanted to charge $40 for balancing the tires. I bought the tires at Discount Tire in Colorado Springs. I found a Discount Tire in Kansas City and took the car there to get the tires balanced. They did something on the car I never wanted or asked them to do and then wanted to charge me to fix it. The original problem is not fixed. The car is still giving me problems. I cant reach the head office. They refuse to call me back and I leave message after message. I will never go to a Meineke again.

I was needing to get an oil change on my lunch, so I made an appointment for the following day and arrived about 20 minutes early. I had printed a coupon from the website, stating the basic oil change would be $19.95+tax. The man handling the front desk said they didnt accept that, it was a national coupon and their store did not participate, so my oil change would be $39.95. Fine, whatever - it wasnt really worth me fighting him over 20 bucks. He said they would get me finished up in 30 minutes but he would call me if there were any issues even though I had arrived early, so I walked across the street to have my lunch. I came back over an hour later, expecting my car to be done since I had given extra time, and the same man behind the counter told me that they were just finishing up, but he wanted to show me something. (Mustve been a long 30 minutes!) As we walked back, he asked if I ever did maintenance on my car and I said yes, why? He had the mechanic pull out my air filter and told me it had obviously never been changed (yes, it was dirty, but I know it had been changed before and it wasnt abnormally dirty). He then pointed out a few different things I would need to take care of fairly soon, but more so stressed that my coolant was empty, and for some reason there was a bolt missing to hold the reservoir in place. The mechanic said I can just replace the bolt, that isnt a big deal so I said awesome, thank you! and we went back to the counter. I asked how much the air filter would be, to which he replied $29.95. Now my $20 oil change has turned into almost $70, not including refilling coolant or anything extra to figure out why any of these other issues existed. I replied Ok, well I will have to do that later this week when I get paid so he opened up the shop door and yelled out SHE CANT PAY FOR IT, CLOSE IT UP. The mechanic asked if he could just put the bolt in real fast and the man from the counter yelled back NO SHE SAID SHE CANT PAY FOR IT, CLOSE IT UP. Um - excuse me? I get that this is a business. I would be happy to pay a couple bucks for the freaking bolt, even though the mechanic said he could just do it for me, but have you ever heard of customer service skills? It would have been just as easy to say something like Shes coming back another day to finish, close it up or She didnt want the rest of the services, close it up. Really, thanks for embarrassing me in front of the rest of the customers, and your entire shop. (By the way, I went and bought an air filter for 8.95 and installed it myself, but that isnt whats important here) The rest of paying and finishing up was extremely awkward and embarrassing and his customer service was just plain RUDE for the entire transaction. Heres the best part of it all, though -I took my car somewhere else to get a second opinion on something completely unrelated to the oil change. This mechanic knows me, knows Im a single mom, and they ended up offering/doing a free oil change for me. Why did they do an oil change for me, when I just had one done at Meineke two weeks ago? Well, the mechanic at their shop found that my oil was low (no oil leak found anywhere though), and the oil looked pretty old, and whoever did my last oil change didnt do a very good job. Thanks, Meineke, for your STELLAR service. Ill be sure to take my car and my money elsewhere from now on.

The meineke staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating when I needed two tires taken care of in a hurry, and gave me space and privacy to do a conference call while waiting. They made a stressful situation much less stressful for me, I would highly recommend them!

I went in with a really scary noise happening when I accelerated. I was called to come back and pick it up within an hour. Apparently it was just a loose screw. I got out my wallet and was told there was no charge. When does that ever happen?! It happens when a place has integrity. I recommend them and will return for more services as needed.

Damaged wheel trying to take off wheel locks they overtightened after a break inspection. Then manager lied about it and said it was that way when the car was first brought in. District Manager was no help in resolving issue. Use them at your own risk the will not stand behind their work.

I used to trust the staff here. Then I was having problems with my truck not starting intermittently, so I brought it in. They could never get the problem to replicate for them (not their fault) but told me it was likely the starter or wiring to the starter. After so many months of this, and before I had to go out of town in December of 2016, I brought the truck in and told them to just replace the starter and wiring. Here we are, just over a year later, and the truck still had some issues starting here and there, but then died on December 31st. I had it towed to another garage I had started using (one that came highly recommended and that I have used before) and before knowing the whole story about replacing the starter, he says that the starter is dead and maybe the wiring needs to be replaced. I told him the starter was just replaced a year ago, he said that it wasnt, the starter is old. He thought maybe I was thinking about the alternator because that looks new (that was replaced several years ago). So I paid to have Meineke do what? When I specifically asked them to replace the starter and wiring.I do notice how many of these complaints are from women. This has happened to me in the past with other garages. Beware of this one. Especially if youre a single woman.

Horrible customer service. My son was not knowledgeable of his situation and they took advantage and upcharged him. When I tried to cancel the extra services they told me labor was still going to be a cost and were extremely disrespectful. Be wary when going here, they do not have the customers best interest in mind.

I was told that since my car required full synthetic, I would have to pay $16.95.For pics of the brochure, see the pics I added.I just went to get my birthday oil change and was told that no, they only offer two free oil changes and the discount coupon of $20 off for the other two plus my birthday,H AND that might will change would not be $16.95, it would be $49.95 instead because I only get $20 off coupon on that.He also told me to bring in my orange receipt. I didnt know what color my receipt was because it was a few months ago that I bought it but I also had the coupon brochure.As it turns out, the receipt that I have is not any good because its not yellow and the coupon brochure that I have has not been validated by the person who sold it to me.So DO NOT buy these coupon books. They are a complete rip-off and the people selling them are not with meineke, they are with some promotional company out of Kansas City.I am not sure if I was just flat out lied to by the promotional company or if meineke pulled a bait-and-switch but either way I will never return.

The worst place to take your car after the quote they will have smorgasbord of additional charges and they hate to honor the warranty and in most cases wont. Its twice as bad if your a female. btw if they fix something it will be broke in about 6 months just lawyer up. Stay away from GREGI hate it here!!!

Matt, the Service Manager, is very knowledgeable and customer oriented making any repairs or required services seem less painful, especially if he can apply or honor a discount coupon.

Matt was awesome. Set the right expectations...staff delivered as promised, time and cost. Will be back.

Started smelling oil in my drive home after an oil change, turns out there was a ton of oil on top of my motor they leaked when filling and didnt clean up.. Im talking at least a quart or more

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!I went in for a simple oil change. Matt at the front desk then proceeds tell me about a possible $500 repair with my oil pan. Luckily there was nothing wrong with it. I felt that I was being prepped to have some catastrophic repair suddenly needing to be fixed now. After the oil change, they then proceeded to tell me that I needed to have my wipers replaced for $33/ each, totaling to $66. Am I an idiot? Great quality wipers can be brought for $15 at wal-mart and autozone who will install them for free. Save your money and go somewhere else, you dont have to be taken advantage of. Best thing to do is to buy your own parts and have it installed at a repair shop.

Went in for an oil change. Price was fair and includes a tire rotation. Service was a little slow, but ok. My biggest complaint is that my car smelled like cigarette smoke after leaving. Not a faint hint, but strongly of smoke! For this reason alone, I will not be back.

BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT USE THIS STORE! Horrible experience! We had our car towed here and was quoted an outrageous price for repair. When I didnt remove the car immediately, they had our car towed. Per the MANAGER we cant have cars on our private lot forever! Rude, disrespectful and dishonest.
