Super friendly staff good mechanics. Will be coming here again and again

We have been using this business for our entire fleet of vehicles for several years now and have always had excellent service from all involved. Easy to make appointments with and everything is done in a timely manner. Never have they tried to over sell me on anything. In fact they have recommended that I not do some things that werent needed. They always call before moving ahead if they find something that needs replaced if we have not talked already about it. Great group of guys to work with and I would 100% recommend them to anyone.

Mike and Chuck are fantastic. Ive been going to them for several years now. They never talked down to you. They always explain things and common language. They go the extra mile to make sure things are done right. They are great guys that do the best for you and your vehicle.

A repair crew with character and honesty great experience

I contacted Lenexa Automotive as a second opinion when another shop quoted an astronomical repair and maintenance bill for my wifes car ($3600). Shane spent an hour on the phone with me to get us quotes for the work which was hundreds of dollars cheaper. Once the guys at Lenexa Automotive had my wifes car, Chuck gave it a thorough overview and had everything fixed for $717. This has become our go to shop. These guys are honest and friendly.

We’ve had several repairs done at Lenexa Automotive over the last number of years. I have always been pleased with the pricing and service. Today I went in to pick up and pay for my service and overheard the 4 men inside making very disparaging comments including a racial slur I will choose not to repeat. I am so very disappointed. They did apologize and say they were embarrassed when I addressed it, but I will not be returning.

The guys at Lenexa Automotive are top notch! It took me forever to find good mechanics to work on my vehicles after several costly incidents elsewhere. These guys are honest, knowledgeable, and reasonably priced. I live near the shop and they will even give me a ride home so that I dont have to wait while my vehicle is being worked on if its going to be something that will take a couple hours... Theyre great guys. We will not be taking our vehicles to anyone else!

Called to ask how much it was to look at my car. I had recieved a code reading prior to calling. Told them what the code was. They said to bring it in. No price was given. Once they were done looking it over they quoted me $600 for a tune up! Then said my engine fan wasnt working and that would cost another $600. Went to the shop, talked to someone else, was told my fan might go out, can take off filter ($100) and fix the issue for $350. I told them I wasnt interested in having it done right now due to me not getting paid for 2 days. They said they need to charge me for looking at it and its $120. I said no one told me that! I wouldnt of brought it in if that was the case. I understand charging but that is excessive. He agreed to charge half to release my car. I wouldnt go there for minor issues. There are other places around there that quoted me $100-$150 cheaper

Got 4 new tires, rear rotors and brakes done! Same day service and cheaper than other places I called. Highly recommend!

Got great help under pressure while I was in KC from Lawrence car shopping. Wanted to buy an excellent used Honda and insisted on taking to a third-party mechanic to be checked out; the dealer was pushing back, but I called Chuck from the dealership and he was ready for me when I arrived. Got a thorough check-up while I waited, with all the information explained clearly and put into writing for me to take back to the dealer. This solid information helped me negotiate down so I had more for the deferred maintenance needed. Bought the car with confidence after this check-up and had vehicle delivered to the shop instead of my house. My sister and brother-in-law live nearby and have gone here for years. Friendly mechanics, no snow job, respectful; clean bathroom; sweetest well-behaved shop dog ever. Highly recommend.

Mike is awesome! I was looking at buying a used truck so I took it to Lenexa Automotive to have it looked over first. He looked at every part for me and even taught me a little about the features of the Truck. He also gave me several things to ask the dealer that I never would have thought of. They definitely have my business from now on!

We were in town on a trip when we had trouble with our van. We had it towed here and they fixed it the same day and were very reasonably priced. Would go there again if we happen to be in town.

Diagnosis and repairs were spot on. Prices were very good and estimates was within pennies of actual cost.

I stopped by to ask how much time/money it would take to fix an ignition issue. They fixed it on the spot for no charge. I will definitely be taking my business back.

They always take care of Johnson County Tree. All our trucks go to Mike. He will get you taken care of. The mechanics are very skilled and they will treat you right. Dont go anywhere else. Take your vehicles here!

Has a great staff and very honest

I had some maintenance work to be done and by chance this place had a Groupon! Well, after purchasing I found out that the owner said the groupon wasnt for routine maintenance, only problems. Long story short, I was able to get a refund by Groupon (as credit). I can only expect that Lenexa automotive jacks up their repair prices to account for the groupon rate. I wont take my car here, ever.

Let me know which tow company to use and had my car completed the same day.

Called during business hours and rep was curt about not having anyone to help me over the phone with simple price check on something. Might as well let the phone ring. Will avoid for future auto assistance.
