During this era of COVID-19 and all the shortages of parts and chips and labor, these folks did a fantastic job in keeping us informed. Status updates were weekly and when the job was complete, the finished product was a like new car. Mechanics are top notch tradesmen and the office staff always professional and helpful. Highly recommend if you need any body work or any auto work for that matter.

We have been using bodyworks for about a year now and have really appreciated their work in the past. However, today we took our minivan in for an oil change and tune up. We had other inquiries about the van and the quote given was $2000. We had total faith and didn’t question the quote (again bc of the other car concerns, obviously not just the oil change and tune up). We then get sent the invoice which is almost 2900. Upon talking w the manager, he explained to me that i must have misunderstood and he wouldn’t give a deceitful quote. Anyway, it’s hard to believe the bill increases 900 miraculously. We had no choice but to pay. I would not trust them with your business.

It is very reassuring to finally find a quality shop that not only respects our relationship professionally but treats me as though I were family. I must confess.. When I first walked in to The Body Works I was predisposed for a stressful interaction. I was upset due to the accident I was in and the condition of my car. In addition, I had all I could take from other body shops yanking my chain, giving me the runaround, gouging prices, and either being unwilling to give me a detailed quote breakdown or just lacking the competence to briefly describe the work they were quoting me on. Even in my unpleasant state, the staff of the body works met me with a smile and walk me through their process start to finish. They took the time to answer any and all of my questions even before I signed the work order. After they explained and broke down their quote I said there must be a mistake and asked several times if everything was included. I could not believe how much lower their quote was compared to the other places I had been. They also reassured me that I had the final say so whether or not the job was completed to satisfaction and their goal was to not only fix my car but to see me walk away happy which I did. Lets face it, car accidents are not fun! The last thing you need is for the repair process to be just as bad as the accident itself. If you want it done right, on time, and under budget I highly recommend The Body Works and not just for accidents. I have a restoration project on a vehicle passed down to me and constantly need maintenance and repairs on my construction vehicles. I will not be going anywhere else but The Body Works. One of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had at Body Works of VA. On the week of Christmas, they made accommodations to get my car in immediately because it was in poor condition to drive. They completed an alignment, suspension check, balanced tires, and oil change/fluid replacement all while I waited at the shop that day.My car felt better than when I first bought it. Our first time working with the body works of VA and we can simply say their service has to be one of the best they were very professional, they worked on our car in a fast manner despite having a snow strom. They left our car looking brand new, and even washed and cleaned it for us. we were super impressed! Body Works of Virginia repaired my Ford Explorer after an accident left some deep scuff marks on the front bumper and cosmetic damage to the wheel rim. I was checked in by Daisy and found her to be professional and efficient throughout the process. Communication from Daisy was excellent and Im glad she dealt with the insurance companies so I didnt have to! After taking the vehicle in for repairs, Body Works found some underlying damage to the foglight brackets, tire side wall and also found that the alignment had been knocked out. They completed the repairs in just under a week and did a superb job. I am really pleased with how my car was returned to me, detailed inside and out! Daisy and her co-workers even stayed open after their closing time to allow me to pick up my car after I finished work. Incredible customer service, highly recommended! The quality of work and customer service was amazing! Repairs came out perfect and was done in three days. The office manager, Daisy Nguyen was outstanding! She was extremely pleasant and informative. She greeted me the first day and thoroughly explained the entire process and provided me with daily updates. My BMW X5 was hit on the front end while parked and The Bodyworks of VA was listed as a qualified repair shop by my insurance company. I chose it because I was familiar with the area they were located in and I had no prior experience with any body shops in northern Virginia. Im so glad I did. They were great from the start. I prefer to use original parts vs. aftermarket, and Daisy was able to assist with that and coordinate the cost difference directly with the insurance company which saved me tons of time. She also kept me apprised every step of the way. Even though my work hours are almost identical to their shop hours, they went out of their way to assist me with picking it up after hours which, for working parents, can be really tough to coordinate with the limited childcare available right now. The X5 looks amazing and their work was exceptional. You cant even tell it was damaged, and they cleaned up after themselves as well. I would highly recommend The Bodyworks of Virginia. The Bodyworks of VA did a great job on repairing my vehicle after being hit by a snow plow. Despite challenges with insurance introducing delays, they were quick in their repairs and did so with better quality than other body shops we have used in the area. They also do an outstanding job with communication and customers satisfaction. The office manager, Daisy, sent frequent updates to keep us informed of the progress and was always happy to promptly answer all of our questions and concerns when called or emailed. My elderly father had a car accident requiring extensive repairs. The group at The Body Works was more like a village of angels than auto mechanics. They swooped in, handled everything, were price conscious, were very responsive every step of the way....honestly, they were wonderful. And the work was EXCELLENT. I have never had such a wonderful experience with an autoworks group before!

This business has built a 5 Star Customer Experience for their customers. The work done in the shop was done with good workmanship. But here is the difference:1) Communications from the office: Was timely and accurate, I never had to track answers down, as they were keeping me informed all along the way.2) Customer Service: There was a little glitch with the insurance company that was paying for the work. It could have lead to me having to pay out of pocket for the repairs. Daisey, my office contact, took care of this small but irritating issue WITHOUT ME ASKING HER TO DO SO. She did it to enhance the reputation of her business, which it did for me.This shop provides good workmanship, great communications and excellent customer service. I hit a deer with my SUV, Bodyworks worked with my insurance company to get the front bumper replaced. While it was at the shop, I had them fix some rust and replace my rear bumper. They worked within my budget and the truck looks great! I have used them in the past and will refer them in the future. Nick was great to work with.

My post on Yelp from Feb 2017, I am sharing here to possibly save someone some grief. By the by the paint on my new fender is starting to bubble...The right front fender on my 2003 Jeep Wrangler needed replaced due to a rust spot that was growing. I bought the fender and took my Jeep to the Body Works of VA based on the reviews I read. When I went for an estimate to have the fender replaced and my Jeep painted (the same color) the staff was friendly and the cost ($3077) and time (1 week) estimate seemed OK. I dropped my Jeep off about 0930 on 10 DEC 18 expecting to have it back on 17 DEC. I never got any calls from the shop so was not happy when I called on 17 DEC asking when I could pick up my Jeep and was told it was being prepped to be painted. I was lied to and told there were problems with bolts snapping when they were being removed and the shop had to replace them and so they were not able to get the painting done. A body shop that doesnt have basics like bolts in stock, not impressive. Much less impressive is that nobody called me to tell me my Jeep was not going to be ready on time and that there was no apology from the shop manager when i called. I was told it should be ready in a couple of days. When nobody from the Body Shop of VA called midweek to let me know my Jeep was ready I called again and was told it still was not ready it had not been painted. And again, no apology for no call form them or for my Jeep not being ready. I made it very clear I wanted it by the end of the week and they finally had it ready for me to pick up about 1830 / 6:30 PM Saturday, 23 DEC. When I picked it up the manager I spoke to on the phone told me they had taken on too much work and that was why it took longer to get my Jeep finished but he never even hinted at an apology when I told him good customer service would have included calls to me to let me know what was going on.I waited to post this because now that Spring is coming and some may need to have body work done on their vehicle they should look elsewhere as I would never recommend The Body Works of VA to anyone.

I towed my car for windows glass replacement my car was parked in the body shop for over one week and when they promised me that it will be repaired I arrived on time to pick up my car but when I saw there was a dent with a scratch in the rear bumper there was black spots on the driver side door and there was white color spray on the driver side mirror when I asked the guy at the workshop to fix that they lied to me and they said that We didn’t do it it was like this one it was brought to the body shop when I showed him the pictures he was so ashamed and my car is brand new so he only clean part of it and said I have another customer to take care of I had the worst experience ever in my life with this body shop. They don’t even deserve one star but since there is no option I had to pick one star

My daughters skidded on ice in her Honda Civic and needed her hood, bumper and headlight to be fixed before she could pass VA. state inspection. The Body Works of VA was recommended to us and thank goodness! We took her car to Jose who gave us an estimate for the work and 24 hours later (WOWZA!!!) her car was ready! He also had the car inspected. The work is impeccable. You can tell that Jose is very detailed and cares about the quality of his work. I will recommend this shop to everyone. They are very nice and do quality work! Thank you!

I took my car in to get a small dent repaired. Even though it was a small job, they did an excellent job with the repair and it was completed in the time frame I was told. They also handled submitting the estimate to my insurance company and coordinated getting the rental car to pick me up. They made everything very easy for me. I just had body work done on my truck and the service was excellent. I was able to get an estimate and quick turnaround on the work - three days from start to finish. Mike worked with me and provided great communication throughout the job. Quality of the work is top notch. Also, had truck detailed and they did an excellent job for a competitive price. This review is a bit late as it has been a bit over a year since The Body Works of VA, Inc. repaired my SRT. Staff is fantastic and very efficient! Estimate provided in a timely manner and work was beyond expectations. The work they did, not only made my vehicle look as good as new, but there was no way to tell that any work had ever been done. On top of that, the price was not only reasonable, but much better than three other estimates I received.

I found this gem of a place many years ago when my wife got her company car fixed there. I had previously been in the auto body repair business many years prior so I knew what to look for in a good repair and paint job. I have since brought all my vehicles there and have not been disappointed once. The old on site owner Billy is no longer there but it is still family operated. Billy added a wonderful warm charm and provided superior customer service and I missed interacting with him. After having recently brought in one of my vehicles for repair the quality is still there... it really is amazing quality!!! Dont go anywhere else.

I just had work done there on my car. I hit a deer about 2 weeks ago and was lucky enough to be recommended this body shop by the AAA dispatcher. They did an amazing job on my car and had it done in a timely manner. Great customer service kept me updated via email the whole time of service and even finished my car a day early! I just had my car worked on there after a big ol deer decided he was in a bigger hurry than I was and ran right into me causing all kinds of damage to my beautiful car. It was nice dealing with people who actually care about you and what you want done. Not some huge company where its all about profit, numbers, and what makes insurance companies happy. It was about what would make me happy. While there they noticed my brake pads were getting kind of low and that my oil needed changed....these guys are awesome! They have a mechanic on site and WAY less expensive than any other repair shop Ive been to. I went to pick up my car surprised to see that they cleaned my entire car, inside and out!!!!! I would recommend this place to anyone who cares about awesome service, getting things done right, and ON TIME! Thank you Body Works for making my car new again!

Very happy with the work done on our vehicle after hitting a deer and being unsure as to what condition our car would be returned, must say i was very impressed with the work done..car looks and runs beautiful! Customer service was okay.. there were times i needed to contact and was not able to touch bases with anyone... but when left message, calls were returned.all in all NOT a bad experience!!!

Shoddy and incomplete work. I had work done there through my auto insurance; the quality of the work was sub-par. Additionally, it took them a very long time to finish. The car was returned to them two times after it was supposedly complete.The last time I returned the car was because it was leaking from under the hood; it didnt leak prior to the accident that required the repairs in the first place. The shop said that the leak was not related to the repair....I picked the car up and within 5 miles it stalled and would not start.In the end, I coordinated through my insurance company to have my car looked at by another shop. This shop found that theTransmission hose had not been properly reconnected after replacing the radiator. Thus, causing the transmission to leak.

I was really pleased with the customer service. Very friendly as well as knowledgeable. The communication between us was prompt and I was always in the loop for the slightest details. After having repairs done to the exterior, I returned to fixed car and a freshly vacuumed interior with a brand new air freshener. 👍👍 They went above and beyond 👍👍

I took my 13 WRX to them and had a STI wing installed. They did an amazing job on my car, color match is perfect. They painted my trunk as well. Overall I couldnt be any happier with the service on my car and the friendly staff. Brought my Dodge Durango in for an estimate on a bumper repair. They had it fixed within an hour, and it cost me 1/7 of what the dealership wanted to charge. Staff was very friendly! Will definitely recommend to anyone!

Predatory towing and storage. $300 for a 3 mile tow after an accident and massive bill for storages. No notification, no paperwork. Outrageous quotes and administrative fees. Absolute scumbags.
