I went to Ashley today, literally just got out of my appointment and I’m writing my review that’s how great she was. I haven’t had someone that thorough in a very long time, she informs of you of exactly what’s she’s doing and gives great aftercare advice. She is also super friendly. She definitely ensures that you get your money’s worth. I have already booked a future appointment with her.

I love this place so much! I love the front desk people they are always so nice and helpful no matter what time of day so welcoming. I usually go for brazilian waxes and i totally recommend Dorian! Not only will she give you a good wax she’s so friendly and down to earth and makes the experience so comfortable. I’ve been going for a while and i usually don’t book with the same person but I do now! definitely recommend

I have gone here several times and used different waxers but Ashley is by far the best. She is quick and efficient making sure to take care of the skin while waxing. European wax center may cost more than your local nail salon but its definitely worth it. They are clean and make you feel comfortable from check in until you walk out. Id recommend every one go here.

Gloria was amazing!!!!!!! This was my first time going to her and what a difference. She was nice, GENTLE, and very thorough. She also took the time to explain things to me and made sure I was comfortable. She is definitely my go to person from now on. Book with her and you won’t regret it.

I absolutely love Alicia. I am new to Laurel and had been going to EWC in Baltimore for a while. I am very finicky about my wax specialist. I went to 3 other specialist before I finally sticking with Alicia. She is absolutely amazing, great conversation and always looks over the area to make sure she didn’t miss anything. There’s NOTHING WORSE than going home and finding a patch of hair still there. Which is unfortunately the case with all the specialist I saw there before Alicia. BOOK HER ! You will not regret it

Dorian is the only person I go to! She understands my pain tolerance and is always understanding and accommodating. I always get either Brazilian or Bikini Full. She pays attention to an individuals preference; for an example I can careless about the plucking and using tweezers after my wax to get the stray away hairs she respects it and doesn’t hassle me about it. However, if your a person who wants a clean canvas she pays great attention to detail and will wax and pluck if wanted. I wont say the process is painless but she makes you feel comfortable throughout your experience. I gave 4 stars and not 5 because I am constantly being asked by front desk to join for a wax pass. I understand the benefits but I just simply don’t want one. They should have a system where if someone doesn’t want a wax passed that its acknowledged and won’t ask again. Sometimes I just want to get a wax, pay and leave!

This place use to be good. But I have lost two wax specialist in the last 2 years. They tell me behind closed doors that this place is ran like a slave shop so they build clientele then leave to do business on there own. The communication is poor they call you minutes before you appointment to cancel or reschedule with no future dates to offer you at all. But if I can needing 5 mins grace period I’m threaten for my appointment to be canceled. I speak to several different people in one phone conversation that says to different things for scheduling. It’s sad to see the customer service so poor here. I am finding another wax home they don’t value customers.

Columbia European Wax Center: For me the technique they use is less painful. Zoe puts you at ease immediately. I highly recommend Zoe. The front desk staff are very nice. This is where I will go from now on for my waxing needs.

Long overdue review which should have been written over 6mos ago. My appointment was scheduled for College Park location that had to be rescheduled for a later day and time since I was 8mins late.(Note to the wise be 10mins early). Regardless I was not going to let that discourage me from getting the Brazilian that I had been waiting a whole week for...Make a long story short, Laurel location was able to fit me in with the same hour. You know the saying everything happens for a reason, well thats the utilmate truth. The front desk staff is friendly and informative (convince me to purchase a brazilian package with body wash and exfoliating pads) which is working wonders. Now to the esthetician, Imani; IMPECCABLE she makes you feel at ease no matter its your first or fourth time. Some people come to work for a check but you can tell this is something she enjoys. Very meticulous will leave you feeling like a brand new person from the rooter to the tooter, in no time

I am not sure how I feel about this location. Every time I go here they are never on time with my wax however the one time I was running a bit late I had to schedule another time. That was understandable. After my session was done I asked to come back for touch up and the girl at the front desk said they usually like to use the same esthetician so they can prefect their art. Never have I been told this. She saw the attitude in my face and ended booking me for another person. I was also annoyed that her main concern was that I get a wax pass because mine was expiring soon. I would not be going back to this location.

Unfortunately, as a first time customer, my experience was below disappointing. I booked a week ago for today at 7:30pl. I arrived about an hour early and asked if there were any openings because I was there early, they were all booked for the day, so no worries, I waited until my appointment time in the parking lot. I stepped foot in the door, again, at 7:29pm, just to be told my online reservation did not go through. This is terribly inconveniencing and unprofessional. How is it that I received an online confirmation, but I wasn’t in the system and they couldn’t even squeeze me in. I’m so sad and I leave out of town tomorrow. The front desk was nice and apologetic.

Tonight I went to Dorian for the first time and she was nothing short of amazing. From her professionalism to her welcoming personality, I was very pleased!! She made me feel extremely comfortable and I’m looking forward to my next appointment. Although this was my first time with her, I have gone to Tiara before and she too was great. I honestly have nothing bad to say about anyone at this location. Thank you Ladies!!

I have been to this location thousands of times before Covid & post Covid and The majority of the time, I’ve brought my little one with me. Today was utterly the worst customer experience I received. Per usual, I showed up on time for my appointment with my little and the receptionist Shari let me know that he was not allowed back in the suite; keep in mind, again I have been to this location on numerous occasions with my little one and no one has ever mentioned or told me that the tech and the customer are the only individuals allowed in the suite and they do not allow others in the suite. Then Shari offers to put a chair outside for my child and I’m thinking in the receptionist area but she proceeds to walk outside the door to place the chair literally outside, for my little one to sit and wait in the public area. I was so appalled and insulted, as well as stunned that she felt it was logical to have a little child literally sit outside in a public area unsupervised. It was disappointing to see that they were not willing to accommodate a circumstance which actually has been a norm for me to bring my child with me into the suite while I’m getting serviced. I will never come to this location or any other European wax center After this horrible experience.

Ashley was amazing. It was my first Brazilian wax ever and she explained everything. Let me know what she was doing beforehand and explained what each product did. Since, it was my first time she did give me brief breaks so I could regroup. Very pleasant and she will definitely be seeing me again. Also, the receptionist I had was very nice as well.

The young woman I had in Laurel seemed uncertain about what she was doing. In the end I was bleeding, in extreme pain and hardly any hair removed on my face.

I went today to get my first Brazilian and let me tell you, Stephanie made it quick and easy. She walked me through everything she was doing and even gave me helpful information. We even chit-chated a little during the process. My experience overall was amazing and Stephanie was AMAZING and the front desk receptionist was amazing too. I already booked my next appointment. I have been waxing for about 3 years now with European Wax Center but just recently started going to this location. Yesterday I received the cleanest and smoothest wax Ive ever received at any location by Imani. Im used to the pain of waxing now but with her it was almost painless. My first time getting waxed and I went all out with the Brazilian. Let me tell you, Aisha was EVERY bit of amazing. She made me feel super comfortable and literally talked me through everything. Unfortunately, my experience as a first time customer was absolutely disappointing. I scheduled an appt for under arms and Brazilian waxing. Prior to entering the establishment for my 2:30p appointment, as requested, I did the mobile check in. I was a 1/2 early. I never received a confirmation after i checked in, so I called 4 mins prior to my appointment to confirm whether or not the received my check-in. The receptionist acknowledge that she did receive it and proceeded to inform me that she would call me when the tech was ready for me. I asked if the tech was running on time. She stated, yes. Clearly, she seemed bothered. So 4 mins later i got the call that the tech was now ready. I go into the establishment, there was a customer paying for her services. As i was waiting the receptionist asked if i were there for an appt. I told her yes, and gave her my name. The tech who was scheduled to service me came out. Her name was JC. She barely greeted me. She seemed to be in a rush and somewhat agitated. She ushered me into a room where she proceeded to confirm the services i was scheduled for. The service table was bare. There was no examining paper on it, which made me uncomfortable. JC proceeded to then spray the table down and placed the examining paper over the table, as i watched. The paper got wet. i guess she was too much in a rush. She then instructed me to remove my clothes from the waist down. I asked if i would be provided a cover sheet. her response was a dry, no. I explained to her that this my first experience doing this and asked that she explained the process. I didnt expect to have to get undress in front of her. I understood that the Brazilian service is very invasive. However, I expected some privacy. At this point, she really appeared impatient and quickly explained the process. I didnt get undressed for the Brazilian. I had her start with my underarms, after which I informed her that i would not be going through with the Brazilian. I will not be returning to this establishment. If these women are going to be working in this type of industry, theyre going to have to have a better attitude.

I just left this location and I am thoroughly impressed with the level of customer service I received from front office staff, as well as the cleanliness of this center!!! Stefanie took her time with my wax and handled me with care. I frequent the EWC in Cleveland Park, DC because it is closet to my residence but I will definitely be returning to this location.Management: Outstanding job!

Though I’ve been getting waxed at a different EWC location, this was my first time at the Laurel location. The customer service was great. Everyone was professional. I made my appt. with Gloria, and I loved every bit of my wax experience. She’s personable and will educate you on what she is doing every step of the way. I plan to continue seeing her!

I absolutely love Gloria, the wax specialist. Her work is immaculate, consistent, and thorough. Definitely the person to choose if you want a perfectionist level wax!!

One thing I will never do again is book with “ANY” specialist. Jade had a terrible personality when I walked in I had to greet her because she never acknowledged I even walked in the room but I still gave her a chance to redeem herself which she didn’t. First, her wax was extremely over regular temperature, it was a absolutely painful experience as well as half way done. When I did get home I noticed it was a few patches of hair still intact which is insane after all of the pain I went thru. This industry is absolutely not for her. I will not be returning to EWC for this reason.

This was my first ECW experience at this particular. Dorian was my wax specialist and my experience with her was amazing! She performed my wax efficiently and explained in detail the process every step of the way. She made it a very comfortable and easy experience. Will definitely book with her going forward!

I always go to EWC.. I love the convenience of multiple locations, the fact that Im able to use my membership services whenever I chose to and the technicians are highly trained and personable. I feel comfortable going to any location and have a good experience. Of course I have my favorites but its nice to know no matter what Ill be taken care of. I also appreciate the cleanliness of every location Ive visited. I go between Annapolis/ Baltimore/ Canton / white marsh/ Laurel due to my work schedule. & I have no complaints.

I did it. I went yesterday.I got the BRAZILIAN. YooooooooooI have never felt anything like that EVER! It was so worth it though. I laughed the entire time to keep from crying...may have shed a tear when it it got my my inners... Pressed my face so hard into my hands, glad I got some good magnetic lashes. (I got the hook up if youve never tried them by the way).SMH but hunty... Wow.The process took like 40 mins maybe I think. Kinda loss track of time . GLORIA!!!! She was a gentle beast...you hear me.She walked me through my first time like it was my first time. She was gentle but aggressive when she needed to be...handled that!And she kept me talking the whole time, (was my first time), did I say that already.... But yes, step by step.But that lip part was like WHOA .Word to the wise, probably dont wanna go when you havent shaved in months... Its was a literal jungle. But I am feeling all the way brand new...hard to stop checking it out.If I could have done anything over, I would have trimmed a little a week ahead.But I highly recommend this facility and even though I am biased because Gloria was AMAZING, I can be all to certain that the entire staff knows what they are doing and operate with the same level of professionalism.

Quick and as painless as can be

My appointment was with someone who has 5 star review but I was serviced by Kim.Slow waxer so it hurts my arm because she takes her time to slowly remove wax from your skin.i believe their wax is very good quality but esthy need more intense training to perform wax job.

These ladies are amazing! Knowledgeable, and friendly. They have deals for 1st timers. I highly reccomend Kai (I hope I spell her name correctly) she was exactly what I needed, and made the experience pain free as we chatted.

Are they close at 6 or whenever they want? They made me an appointment at 5:45 for Brazilian wax, but they called me back to see if I can go at 5:15 I told them I will try for my baby so I couldn’t and I arrive at 5:32; they said they already cleaning to leave? And the wax machine takes 30 minutes to get ready?!. So they didn’t want to take me I scheduled my appointment at 5:45 for one reason! My bad mistake was said I will try to go before I didn’t know it was because they wanted to leave early!. It wasn’t even 5:45 my supposed appointment, it was 5:32 pm!. This people don’t want money, incredible!. Saturday /24/ 2019

In the past there has been some hiccups with Appointments, but as of lately the service has been amazing. Their text system for confirming appointments is extremely helpful. As such, I wanted to post a new review. They are taking high precautions with covid and seeing their process will put any nervousness you have at ease.Now for the service: In the past I’ve used Liz who is GREAT and she’s very pleasant. Lately due to scheduling, I’ve been introduced to Imani who is AMAZING! When I tell you she’s extremely thorough 🙌🏿👏🏿 (no hair gets left behind that you don’t want to be there); she’s also great to talk to. I would highly recommend requesting these ladies when you book your appointment.

I was able to get a last minute appointment today with Makala and got a fantastic full brazilian bikini wax. The front desk staff was also very friendly and hospitable to me. I will definitely return back soon.

I visited the newly opened European Wax Center in Laurel Towne Center. Dorian was a great esthetician! She was patient and did a great job with my Brazilian Wax! The location was clean and staff were friendly! I also arrived early, and they were punctual with check-in and wax service. There was literally no wait time.

I have been to this location twice and the first time I was 15 mins late to my appt which of course I informed the receptionist I wld be. Then when I got there she very snobbishly said “if you are going to be late you need to call in and inform someone” 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄. Ok. I went through with my appt and loved my wax. The second trip went ok. Then I fast forward to the third trip which I was late again and my appt was canceled completely. Laurel is an hr away from where I live and I do not need the frustration. This is my experience and thought I should share. The receptionist shld be better equipped to handle tardiness but the wax specialist are good.
