Brought my car in because of some clanking sounds on the axle. It took 6 business days to fix (2 days to ship the part, 4 days to install), overall runs great now. The mechanics are good people, did the job well and explained the issue. The place is short staffed so its pretty slow. Hard to get in touch with the people there by phone, I just showed up in person. I used the phone # listed on Google for this place, was forwarded until I got to a voicemail, and just hung up. I dont like leaving voicemails so I might be the problem here. Great employees, 5 star to them for being helpful.
Apparently all the Chevrolet dealerships in Maryland are trash. The paint on my brand new 2021 Suburban is peeling off and I went to the dealership closest to me (Antwerpen in Eldersburg). They said it is covered under my warranty but told me I needed to return to the dealership I purchased it from (Auto Nation Laurel). I drive the 1 hour drive to the dealership I purchased it from and they tell me I need to come back next week when they have a manager on duty.
Went to get a charge door put on my volt. paid over $150 for it and waited 4 days. Called and was told it was done. Went to pick it up on lunch and quickly back to work and then to clean and sell to someone. Get home and find out that the charge door wasnt even put on and I paid $150 for nothing.
Service was fantastic and I was in and out having my oil change, tires rotated and fluids check in 30 mins.
I wasnt going to leave a review as I give the benefit of the doubt to every business but the service here deserves this review. I took my new Buick Tour-x I purchased from AutoNation in for service because it had a TSB - #18-NA-163 - Front End Rattle Noise. Technician was not able to reproduce the issue. I went in a few days later and the technician was in the car and we were able to reproduce the noise. I waited 6hrs for them to let me know that the issue was TSB - #18-NA-163 - Front End Rattle Noise, the same code I brought in when I talked to them. I had to bring the vehicle back a couple days later and received a company loaner which was disgusting (never cleaned) as you can see in the photos. Once I got my vehicle back I never went back. Now 3 months later the left control arms screws came loose, to the point where you could spin the screws with your fingers!!!! My friend discovered the issue as I told him about driving issues. The technician never tightened the left control arm screws. Right side were fine. Be very very careful considering this location for service. What a waste all of that was! Im glad I left and went back to my previous service center.
Friendly staff . Great service . Will definitely return again.
Mixed vibes, staff was pretty nice in person, saying they support the military and will do what they can to help me. But they didnt seem to believe that I needed a new key fob, saying the battery needed to be changed. I asked them to order a new key anyways They said it would be here on Monday and scheduled me for Tuesday for formatting. I dropped off my car overnight and didnt have the car for a day which I managed fine. They replaced my battery and was like it works! I asked about the new key and they said it wasnt going to be in until Next Monday. They would call when the new one arrived. I waited a week before calling back to see if the new key was in. They said it got in a few days ago, which meant they didnt call back when it got in and it took me over two weeks for a new key and it was frustrating to ask my coworker if they could drive me around again. But in the end it works, got the key and they were nice in person for the most part.
My husband took our car here for an engine diagnostic in February. They kept the car for 2 weeks (just long enough for the manufacturers warranty to expire), charged us $150 to tell us the car needed an oil change. We get an oil change and the check engine light comes back on a week later. We take the car back. They’ve had it for 4 weeks today and after weeks of not getting any response about the status of the repairs, the receptionist finally tells us that since the manufacturer won’t pay they won’t fix the engine (without even asking if I’d pay for the engine out of pocket or inquiring about my extended warranty) What kind of business operates likes this? Clearly they have a backlog in their service queue and need help. They still have my car and have yet to do any work to it despite the fact that they have acknowledged it needs repair which contradicts their earlier diagnosis and calls to reach them are scarcely returned. I will be reporting this experience to Chevrolet corporate in the morning.
Horrible experience!!!!! All my car needs is an oil change, brakes, roters, tires and a battery (easy fix). Its been 3 weeks and I still havnt received my car. The service department rarely calls you back and when they do its only to extend your wait time. I was told by the service manager (Jesse) that the service tech working on my vehicle was fired. One week later I found out that the guy still works there. Of course this was done just to keep me off their backs. This is a very TERRIBLE service department $1100 for the service mentioned above is overkill!!!! After waiting this long I will definitely demand a price change!!! When it shouldn’t have been this much in the first place! This place is a waste of your time and money!!!!! Go somewhere else!!!!
Horrible. I made an appointment to wait to have my car repaired and it took two weeks to get it back. Drove off and all of the lights were back on. Not sure what they did. The service is horrible and the service manager, Jesse is rude and condescending. General manager refused to help. Don’t take your car there for anything. Awful service!
Treated my husband and I like...Kings and Queens.Thank you Mrs. Stephanie Kellogg-Turner. We love our new van. Thank you for great service.
Good services and they tell you if the vehicle needs any repair or if everything is fine.
I purchased a service package, which included several oil changes, from Autonation when I purchased my vehicle. I was told I could use it at any Chevy dealership, but the fine print said any Autonation Chevy. Sneaky buggers. I scheduled my oil change and stated I had a service package for an oil change. The day of my oil change, I checked in at the desk, gave the service desk a copy of my service package and noted that my oil change should be included with the service package. I had some other work done and several hours later I was checking out at the payment desk. I asked where my vehicle was and the woman said In the parking lot. I went outside, looked around, walked around the building and after several minutes, found my vehicle. I took a quick look at my receipt, and low and behold, I was charged for an oil change. I went back to the front desk begrudgingly sent me to the service desk manager who said that he would just credit me another oil change on my account. I said that would not work and need a refund. The service desk manager said it would take three days to process. It has been a month with no refund and no return calls. It is very doubtful that I will be using this Autonation service again.
Decided to go here to order some all weather floor mats. I had gotten a voucher for $100 from my GM rewards that I could use toward accessories but was only good for a month. When i arrived, I waited at least 20 minutes for anyone to even greet me, even after pressing the call button two times. Once I was finally helped, they printed out a quote for the mats and told me they would be ordered that day (it was a Thursday) and they would have them by the following Tuesday and I could pay for them when I picked them up. A week goes by and I don’t hear anything, it’s now the following Thursday so I decide to give them a call. Was placed on a long hold while they attempted to locate the record of my order. Turns out “it wasn’t sent out in time” but they said they would be here, again, within the week. When I called again another week later, the same thing happened. My voucher is now expired and I’m out of that $100. Terrible customer service and they can’t even keep track of a simple order for floor mats. Hate to see how they handle something more important. Will never go here again.
Wouldnt take my car anyother place to get serviced! Good service, freindly staff(Julie is a little roof around the edges but I think she means well tho) work is commendable and they do a good job explaining Whats going on with your vehicle with you.
Went in to just look and drove out with exactly what I wanted. Appreciate Duane listening to me and spending the time to show me several models that matched with what I was looking for and then finding me exactly what I needed. Had a slight problem with the vehicle and was able to bring it back the next day - despite being super busy they fixed it immediately. Greatly appreciate the ease of purchase and the friendly staff!
Customer service was fine, and they were all very courteous. The issue was they forgot to reset the oil life in my car so it still said 11% when I left. Attention to detail during inspections are important of they even did one at all.
Went in for an oil change and tire rotation. Chris who only spoke English was great. Though my husband who speaks Spanish wanted to explain something to the Spanish speaking advisor about our 2018 car that has rusty spots on the bumper. Spanish speaking Advisor walked away from me while I had my husband on the phone. What’s the point of having someone who speaks your language and is not whiling to help.
I just need to share with you how pleased I am with this service department. I was greeted as soon as I walked in with a handshake. I was told to have a seat and relax and to help myself to refreshments which was perfect. My service advisor was Christy and she was great! Very down to earth and social. I was so happy that shat she did EXACTLY what she promised. If you go for service ask for her and you will be very pleased.
They never call back. I sent my mom there for her car. They had it for over a week and still I dont know when we will get it back. And they wont tell us the problem. Ive left multiple messages and have yet to get a call back. OVER A WEEK!!!!! its under warranty and they are charging to do a diagnostic
I brought my car in because of a vacuum leak causing code P0171. They found some issues I never experienced so I had them fix those too. I get the car back and the codes have been cleared but the vacuum leak is still there. Do yourself a favor and save yourself some money and a headache. Go somewhere else.
God knows how much patience I had but when i took my car in on 9/25 for a recall notice i had on my vehicle. My appointment was at 9am i ended up leaving at 4:22 pm worse service i ever had in my life i will NEVER be going back to that place. As a person who works for customer service i would never treat a customer the i way i was treated. I went in for a recall notice, check my engine light and tire sensor they took so long with my car I didn’t know what was going on until i went up to the desk to ask why it was taking so long. Eventually they told me what was going on but in the end NOTHING was done to my car i was there for 7 hours, mind you I was yet to receive a phone call for one tire sensor but they didn’t care cause i never received a call nor did any one contact me or apologize for wasting my time. God bless who ever goes to this place but i will not ever be returning to this place.
Dealership wasn’t an issue at all. But my experience at the Service Center was NOT a good one. Christine did not keep me up to speed on the progress of my car. I had to constantly call & leave messages to get an update of the status. The customer service in general left much to be desired. The employees & management... RUDE!!! & my car was with the service center for OVER A MONTH for something that should’ve taken a couple of weeks tops. Unacceptable & a major inconvenience being without my car for over a month & the staff didn’t seemed one bit concerned with this unrealistic timeline. & it was just overall a horrible experience. Worst money I’ve ever spent & I will not be doing anymore business with the Laurel location nor referring anyone.
I greatly appreciate the manager, George, and a great service tech named Kemara creating a solution for me as we navigated a difficult situation. Based on the great service I received from George and Kemara I will be back for service in the future and feel comfortable recommending this location to anyone else looking for service. Thanks again!!
I showed up like days of old and was politely told I needed an appointment. I had an appointment for the same week.
Chevrolet no longer makes the part I need. Dang!
I got there early they waited on begin working on my truck keep me updated on they process finish quickly and got me on my way thanks
I brought my 2016 gmc there with failed a/c only to find out the service they charge $350 to charge a/c and diagnose....WTH I wont be going to A N for service, extremely OVERPRICED. Other companies offer same service for $50 or less :(((( TOO Bad I cant give less then 1 star
Had an appointment and I arrived on time.. but was told I will have to wait 2hrs for an oil change. That is absolutely ridiculous.. I left.. and I will never go back! I really wish the service dept was half as good as the sales dept. I was thinking about trading my car in and upgrading.. not from Autonation!(
Still waiting for my appointment which was at 2:30
Never good. Service is crazy.
Do NOT go to the AutoNation Chevrolet Service Center in Laurel. Please read and reconsider!!!I dropped my car off on April 1st for a diagnostic over some serious jerking while speeding up and slowing down. The service worker (I will not name names, so I’ll call them SW) told me the diagnostic will cost $137 and they will start the next day because they were booked the rest of the day. She said I’ll get a call on Wednesday about my car. Wednesday comes and I don’t get a call. I had to call them Thursday to see what was going on. I was told they thought it was transmission from my description, but they were going to take it for a test drive to feel the jerking themselves. They said they’ll call me the next day and let me know what they find out. Friday comes and I don’t get a call. I ended up calling them that day and they told me they still couldn’t figure it out and that they needed to take it on an extended test drive over the weekend and will get back with me by 12:00 Monday. Monday comes, it’s past 12:00, and no call. I call them to see what’s going on and they proceeded to tell me that they had to take it on another test drive and that they’ll get back with me. Tuesday comes, a whole week and a day that they’ve had my car at this point, and I get a call saying that they had to take it on ANOTHER drive with the computer in it. The computer read spark plugs, so they put new plugs in, drove it AGAIN, and it no longer jerked. This is a total of FIVE drives within a week. The SW told me they just kept the plugs in and it’ll cost us $275 total (which is ridiculous for some plugs I could get done elsewhere for $50, but what could I do at that point). We go in to pick up my car and they hand me the receipt and tell me to insert my card. I flip up the page and it read a few dollars shy of $400! Broke down to spark plugs being $44 and labor and fees to over $350!Remind you, I was never asked if they could take it on these drives, they said they already did it/are about to do it, without my consent beforehand. They put in the spark plugs without my consent. I had to call them numerous of times when they said they would call me. They had my car for over a week and took it on FIVE test drives, without my approval.Anyways, I ask to speak to the manager. I tell him what all happened over the week along with the SW telling me the total would be $275. The manager basically acted/said that I was lying because the SW was “one of the best communicators in the past” and he “doesn’t believe that the SW would do this” and his overall facial expressions were very unprofessional and quite frankly, disrespectful. After telling him that we refuse to pay $400 for spark plugs and terrible service, about 5 minutes later he decides to bring the price down to $260 for us, shaking his head while doing so.Oh and on top of all of this I received my car back very dirty. When I got inside my vent air fresheners were thrown on the floor, along with a service number paper and other trash (that was NOT there before- my car was clean inside and out). The outside was also covered in bird poop. You know, if they had any care or courtesy for the customer they would’ve cleaned up after themselves on the inside by picking up their trash and putting the sticks back in the vents, and just running it through the car wash really fast as a nice gesture. But no.Overall this was a terrible experience from start to finish and I will never EVER recommend this place to anyone. If you want them to squeeze every dime out of you and have them take joy rides in your car for a week straight and then get it back filthy, then this is your place. If not, steer very clear from this awful place. I’d give 0 stars if I could 🙂
Outstanding customer service. I have 2 cars from here. I will be looking for number 3 soon.
Ok
Decent service but still have some things to work on.
2 hours for an oil change even when you schedule an appointment. Thats what the headline should state when you schedule one of the many deceiving express service as advertised on their website. I have only exclusively dealt with another prominent service center in Laurel-Bowie for my vehicles but, was impatient and didnt want to wait until next week for an oil change. I shouldve just waited a few more days instead of wasting my time and money here. Having an appointment and still waiting 2 hours for a simple oil change in my opinion is unacceptable. I have had my vehicles serviced for an oil change with a tire rotation at another competitor for years and it has never taken 2 hours.Upon arrival a gentleman approached the vehicle he didnt greet me or introduce himself but, he just asked if I had an appointment. Another associate inside the facility did greet me but the main service attendant was extremely rude and impersonal. I felt rushed when I came in because he immediately walked me over to the seating room and than came back twice to get information from me with an attitude. He could have easily done all that prior to showing me the waiting area and how about a shuttle ride offer or even a simple update after an hour or so? Nope, didnt get either. (But, other service attendants came in frequently to check on their customers) Maybe I just got the bad apple out the bunch. And, I get it sometimes you dont feel like being at work but, operational efficiency along with building lasting customer service experience is a vital component to maintaining business relationships. The ONLY reason I rated this establishment with even 2 stars is because of Oscar. He picked up his partners slack and helped me finalize everything. He even adjusted my bill for a 5% military discount. Sure its small but, still something.
Always the worst
Good customer service. Very informative
Good prices and friendly staff. Cant remember the receptionists name but she is a sweetheart.
Great Staff Professional from the time I walked into their establishment
Carlos was awesome! The guy in the parts section awesome customer service!
First experience with them went very well. Will definitely be going there for the rest of my time here in Maryland.
They were easy to work with, very detailed and thorough in their explanations of the services they recommended, and really seemed like they were trying to get us the best value when they recommended a tire patch rather than full replacement, assuring us it would last.
Bad communication and service
This service center seems to get worse every time I go. Most of the advisors seem to be rude, negligent, oblivious, or some combination of all those things. Ive scheduled service multiple times explicitly requesting a service and when I show up they are unsure if they have the parts needed to do the repairs/recalls. Ive had to wait a full week for things that should have taken an afternoon. Furthermore, the quality of the work by the mechanics is awful. I had to take my car in three separate times for the same issue and was still unconvinced that it had actually be properly addressed. Free service is the only thing that brings me back here, and even then its a major pain and risk to my vehicle.
Bought new truck and 2 weeks later it broke down so I called service and my sales man and was told they were too busy so called manager and he said sorry it wont happen again, I said I know cause I wont call you again, so called Oursiman Chevrolet of bowie and my truck was towed and had loaner truck same day and got my truck back 2 days later so the morale of the story is they care about you when your buying a vehicle but after that they dont care at all
This place is pretty good been coming here for years. Very professional and kind people.
Twice have waited hours to get an oil change and to go home to an oil leak from loose filter...
Im satisfied with their service
Car club I used to be long to use the spend a lot of money with AutoNation. now years later they turn almost quadruple their pricing.
Great service and great employees!!
Great services
First service at autonation service department was terrible.Technician left all my wheel nuts slack .Someone need to double check behind these technician, my vehicle started to make a vibrating noise thank god i stopped in time otherwise it could have been fatal.
Good services
Good service
Rude...
Great service
Thank you
Paying $ 74.56 for a filter and oil change for my car is exaggerated, I will not do it again in that place.
Good 👍
