Just left this location very upset. Had a wonderful towing experience into the location but I was greeted by Beverly :) thank you. She told me to speak to car care. I approached the desk telling the representative the issues when a guy intrusive interjected our conversation and started asking questions. He told me that just having my one free hour of diagnosing would be pointless if it’s gonna be longer. All in all he didn’t want to do it! He was very rude and tells customers they will be spending hundreds and thousands after speaking to him. He very aggressive verbally and adds to it by his facial expressions m. Who ever hired that guy needs to immediately get I. Touch with him and write him up. It wasn’t about the money it was the customer service for me! I left this location and was able to receive the proper care for my vehicle. It was way to aggressive speaking to a women with a child and it made me feel like my car was not in the best care. Please remove this individual as AAA will have many ppl walking out with that behavior of his!!!

An utter gem of a Travel Center. I didnt know that a Travel Center could be a gem, but this one proved it.After my car died on the expressway late in the night I had it towed here. Far from home, I spent the entirety of the next day working on selling it for parts. All the while, the people at this AAA were there for me. They worked with me on everything I needed. I was in and out twenty times at least, charging my phone, using their wifi, and the like. After I sold the car, they let me bring all of my belongings inside to get rearranged, and even helped me find a great deal on a new piece of luggage to carry everything with. As I tried to figure out a way to get home, they went so far beyond whats required for good service. The travel agent researched all the different train tickets back, and worked again and again to help me negotiate weekend car rentals. In the end the manager even stepped in to help my case in a way that went way past anything written in their job description.I was properly stranded and these people saved me. I dont know whos doing the hiring here but theyre killing it.. All the people helping me in the front lobby that day were amazing.Thank you!

As a AAA member they provided a courtesy auto evaluation. The price beat the dealership by more than 50%. This due by eliminating unecessary repairs advised by the dealership and discounted cost. They did the work in a timely fashion and provided parts replaced for my keeping if desired. Great guarantee on the work done as well. 24,000 miles or 2 years. The staff is professional, courteous and kept you informed. Gold Star 🌟 all the way.

STAY AWAY! They’ll damage your cars!!! After a few years of decent mechanical repairs for multiple vehicles at this location, I decided to trust them with simple headlamp restorations. BAD IDEA! They sanded into the front bumpers of two cars, causing close to $1800 worth of damage between the two! Both bumpers have to be removed and repaired with multiple gouges, sanding damage, and the grill was covered with product splatter. Making it worse, the headlamp restoration is awful! Lazy, sloppy, and careless work. Anyone with any auto body experience can tell it was NOT taped and covered properly. I’ve requested they pay for the repairs but have not heard back. Sorry AAA, you lost a customer and I’ll be sure to tell everyone you DAMAGE CARS.

Best broken car experience I have ever had! As a AAA Member they towed my smoking car to their repair place. They determined what was definitely wrong and discussed it with me as it was an older car and I was not sure what I wanted to do. Once I made a decision to have it fixed the car was ready a day early and because I am a member it was much cheaper than originally quoted. Overall I would highly recommend this place for integrity and for speed of service.

Joe & Karina were amazing!! I was in the area for work and had some time between meetings so I decided to pop in to see if they would be able to do my oil change. I was greeted with a welcoming hello from both of them even though they were quite busy. Joe immediately picked up on my concern of being over on my oil change as well as being sold things that were not needed. He reassured me that they would only suggest what would be needed and that all costs would be presented before the work began. After a short wait he returned with an overview that the tech had done. He let me know what needed to be done immediately as well as some things that will probably need to be done the next time I return for an oil change. I have never had someone take the time to do such a comprehensive review! Being someone who has to trust others for what my car needs it was GREATLY appreciated. I will absolutely be making the drive for all further repairs and maintenance work!! Thanks again guys!

They were able to see me quickly. I think it was because of it being between a holiday and a Sunday so there wasnt a lot of people.They were quick in identifying the problem and up front with the costs and even showed what was causing it. The staff was personable and friendly.Couldnt recommend them enough.

Absolutely horrible service. Called AAA to tow my car to the Jeep dealership originally, AAA customer service up sold us to just take the car to one of THEIR auto shops. Be careful because if something goes wrong they will claim to have no affiliation with their service and will say they can not help with anything to do with the auto shop. So do not make a decision based off the affiliation with AAA roadside assistance, they claim to have nothing to do with the shop if something goes wrong. Moving along, the auto shop changed the quote by $400 after the work was started...I dont know if the issue was the mechanic or Elena the front desk employee. They said they forgot to include some of the labor... Very unprofessional. Then proceeded to try to upsell me. Recommended over $1200 of work that half of the work recommended was not necessary AT ALL. To top it off... they didnt even do the work completely so I brought it back after work 20 mins before they close so they can see what needs to be fixed ..Corinna the assistant manager said noone was available after dismissing the mechanic in front of me after he asked if there was anything else to do. Proceeded to then tell me I would have to leave the car... I would not have scheduled to pick it up if it wasnt ready. The inconvenience this has caused to a small business owner of a successful company is ridiculous. Come to find out they clearly didnt test drive the car AFTER it was fixed and drivable to ensure the problem was completely solved. After dropping it off, called me within an hour and told me a WHOLE bunch of issues that was not on the recommended list and would be ANOTHER $2000 extra atleast. The car will be right back to having the same issue due to them not completely fixing the cars issue that relates directly with the front end and what they have TEMPORARILY fixed. I even mentioned some of the issues listed that had to do with the control arm when I first originally dropped off the car and they proceed to act like I didnt know what I was talking about. Unfortunately that was a CONCERNED issue on the final look through that I had to request after dropping the car off the second time. Talked to the manager and he was very inconsiderate, rude and condescending instead of apologizing that they did not test drive the car AFTER the work was complete and drivable. All he kept referring to was how the car was not drivable when I originally dropped it off. No sense of accountability. Then proceeded to say well we gave you $200 off...very unprofessional as all AAA clients get 10% off. Ofcourse it wasnt drivable originally... AAA would not have towed it there if it was. Overall the amount of inexperience from the forgetting to add labor to the quote, unprofessionalism from the inconsistent phone calls and rude management, and the over all horrible customer service from the shop to the AAA customer service reps who will unclaim the auto shop in a second, are just some of the reasons that this place should NEVER be TRUSTED with your vehicle.DO NOT VISIT and be careful with putting your trust into shops just because of a long term relationship you have had with AAA roadside assistance. Speaking from personal experience...it will not go well. All youll take away from it is shock from a manager saying you should have taken it to another shop. Will be call AAA corporate.Stay safe this summer and hope you all have a great 2021!

Very disappointed in this AAA. I had my car towed to this location since it was the closest to me, I walk over to get checked in and right off the bat they told me they couldnt help me. They didnt even look at my car or attempt the solve the issue. I was meet with sounds like not our problem, have a good day.

If I could leave negative stars I would!!!!I was traveling from North Carolina to Pennsylvania my car broke down in the middle of the night. I had it towed to the Laurel Maryland service center because Im a plus member. The only good thing I have to say about this shop is the fact that they had my alternator changed and Battery changed and I was out the door and back on the road by 9:30 in the morning. I did not even get 80 miles down the road and my cars battery light came on again so I called the service center spoke with the manager Joe and he started telling me I had to turn around and come back I said I couldnt do that I was already late for where I needed to be he said I needed to go some other town and I said I already passed that 30 miles back and then he just ignored me. I finally get to York PA and I have to have my truck towed to a garage that was an authorized representative of AAA. What they found was the alternator that the Laurel Maryland shop put on my truck was bad. What it comes down to is I had to pay again to have a new alternator put on and had to pay for labor because Joe refused to pay the new shop or give me my money back now almost 4 months later I still havent got my money back. The two times I spoke with Joe since then hes been nothing but rude. I offered to bring the alternator back to him on my way back home to North Carolina and he said he couldnt do that because he didnt know if I tampered with it. I even went so far as to contact AAA and put in a complaint about him his customer service skills and how I was treated. The gentleman I was working with there was nice and investigating everything but the minute Joe found out that I had put a complaint in he called me and promised me that if I returned the alternator that I would get my money back and he would even go so far as to send me a shipping label so I would not have to pay anymore. well a month later I still havent received te shipping label and now he wont return my calls.

My engine light came on the morning I was supposed to take a 700+ mile roundtrip to northern PA. Brought my car in for a diagnostic and hoped Id be able to make my trip and bring it back later. Not only did they determine the problem, but they had it fixed and back on the road in an hour and a half. I had amazing customer service and extremely grateful! 100% recommend and plan to take my car here for future service needs.

I attempted to have a routine oil change done. I stopped in and was informed that they were booked for the day but to go online and schedule an appointment so that I could wait for the vehicle. I scheduled an appointment for a few days later. When I dropped the car off they told me it would be several hours before the oil change would be done. People who came in without an appointment were given the same completion time. What is the point of scheduling an appointment? The staff is pleasant but I would not return to the Laurel location.

So far it’s been a week, I put my my car in for a bulb, a hose, and an oil change. I’ve been quoted 3 different prices in the past 48 hours because of work they did but conveniently didn’t inform me of. My car is still with them today! I will keep u guys posted on how they handle this.Ok just got off the phone with the manager. He fixed the miscommunication and everything is good to go so far. No word on the work yet, but customer satisfaction and communication is strong here

Extremely disappointed in their service! I made an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation at 10:45. I asked how long it would take and I was informed 90 minutes. I then questioned why it would take so long and was informed they do a thorough once over of the vehicle to make sure everything is in good condition. My vehicle has 7,000 miles (which I told them when I made the appointment) so I wondered what could really take so long. I decided not to wait and would walk the 15-20 minutes back to my house.I received a call at 11 in which they stated since it was a new vehicle (duh,I gave that info already) it wouldnt take as long. They said they were only going to change the oil because it was too soon for a tire rotation. I thought that was odd so I checked the manufacturers recommended maintenance schedule and found it calls for tires to be rotated every 5,000 miles. I called them back and requested they rotate the tires. By 12:30 I still hadnt heard anything but I had a ride so I decided to go over thinking they had to be done soon.When I got there my vehicle was in the same spot I parked it in. I went inside and found out they had done NOTHING yet. When I asked why I was told that walk-ins and towed vehicles could have been ahead of me. So if this is the case, why take appointments? The whole purpose of an appointment is to NOT wait. I also questioned about them stating I did not need my tires rotated when in fact I did. The response I received was well, I was wrong.I wish I would have just gone to jiffy lube as normal but I thought Id give this place a try since its close and I am a AAA member. Seems like they rushed through once I started asking questions and didnt even vaccuum! NEVER AGAIN!!

If it werent for my daughter breaking down on a Sunday and being told by the tow truck driver she had to go back to AAA. We were out of town, my daughter did not know any better. Horrible experience at this location on multiple occasions. I gave them plenty of chances hoping it wouldn’t Continue. Sold me tires that kept going flat, with no explanation as to why. Continuously gave estimate on time and would always be off by at least TWO HOURS. This last time I went, they even forgot to do one of the services I went in for, and never got to my vehicle. Never going here again. I plan on contacting corporate.

Took my daughters car to get tires put two front tires on. Got the job done. After she told me she felt a little vibration when going pass sixty. Tech told me we needed an alignment. Got that done and started driving home and the steering wheel started shaking. I took it back. Now they tell me my wheel is bent and show me where someone marked where it was bent. They are people that worked on the car. Bent her rim.

The staff may generally be friendly, but the overall service quality is not very good. For a place that requires appointments, I found that the service is relatively slow compared to other auto care places (Merchants, Just Tires, Jiffy Lube, Exxon, etc.) and they arent very fast. AAA would be at the bottom of my list for timeliness of service for routine service, such as a basic oil change. I dont know why AAA MUST use a regular/synthetic blend of oil as its most basic available oil. It is the only auto care business that I have been to that doesnt offer regular oil for oil change service. While offering what I believe to be low prices, AAA is leveraging its reputation to offer subpar auto care service.

Joe and his team at AAA Car Care Center in Laurel are the reason my car is back on the road. I was towed there (a recommendation of the tow driver) from the DC/MD line with a broken axle. They diagnosed this problem within 1 hour of getting there and for the next week until my car was fixed were extremely professional, patient, and solved a number of unique problems that popped up during the process. They went above and beyond to help me and also in the most cost efficient way possible. I have never experienced this level of support and customer service (including the dealership) that I did with this team. I have recommended this location (and AAA Care Care Centers in general) to a handful of people just in the past month as this is now my go to place for any care related service or issues. Definitely a 5 star plus experience.

Worst customer service ever. I normally go to another location in Glen Burnie, MD. I made an appointment for Friday at 7am. No service person was to the service desk until 8 am. They had my car for 3 days, the check engine light came on the next day. The paid $1800, and was given back my car, it was not working properly. They should ensure the car was fixed. Joe the Manager is rude, unprofessional and sarcastic. No customer service experience. I have been a AAA member for over 5 years and has never been treated this way. I will never take my car to this location. The Glen Burnie location is much better. BEWARE of this location. They want your money only!

DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY!!! They told me I needed a new transmission ($4500+) but when I sent the vehicle to AAMCO, a transmission specialist shop, they told me there was nothing wrong with my transmission. It was the alternator and a belt ($800). Always get a second opinion and certainly DONT TRUST THIS SHOP!!!

My first visit for an oil change was great, but this time was the opposite. The service tech, Anthony, stated I needed a $63 oil change (synthetic). When questioned as to the increased cost from my previous visit, he implied it was recommended by the manufacturer (GMC) and my only 3-months old, brand new 2019 car needed to last up to 100+ miles with this oil. I declined and requested the basic oil change (a blend for $30). Then, I was told it would be an additional 45 mins on my service time because they ran out of oil filters for my vehicle—Really?!? So, this is my last time dealing with this location.

My wife went in for oil change SPECIAL. It was special alright. They tried to sell her everything under the sun. We just had major repairs done at Toyota I.e. timing belt, water pump, spark plugs, belt and rear breaks, break fluid service and steering flush. The services were done four thousand miles ago.These thieves tried to sell her front breaks and fluid service again. Toyota said her front breaks were almost like new, they did replaced her rear breaks when we had the services performed. She picked the car up and I took my car to a local shop and had them inspect the cars breaks and the fluid. I was told they were perfect and did not need any servicing. I feel like I was back at Manny, Moe and Jacks rip off place. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. I should have seen the first review they had posted its obvious that gentleman is an employee. Once our AAA membership is over my family will not renew. BEWARE look at the AAA ratings, I looked at several locations. Lots of bad reviews.

To tell you the truth yesterday during their grand opening everything was fantastic. Today, the day after? Not so much. Yesterday I scheduled an appointment for today at 1:30pm. I was actually very thrilled. I get there and the place was quite empty so I was even more thrilled. Well Nathaniel came out to help me. He wanted to get my members ID and so while I was trying to find my member card, he went out to get some info off of my car. He comes back and he is talking to somebody on his headset. Okay, I get it. Maybe he is the only one there. But he doesnt even say hey maam, Ill be right back with you. Or hey, can you please give me a second. Like he doesnt acknowledge me at all. So... okay. I wait thinking the convo he was having was going to end quickly, but no. Nathaniel was giving the man on the line information and collecting information from the man. He had no sense of service whatsoever. Very disappointed. The building can be all new and shiny and as pretty as you can make it, but having no quality customer service is what makes the place. If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Invest in customer service training.

1st time at AAA Laurel MD for tire balance. Technicain was great, professional and knowledgeable. My reason for rating so low was Jeo the service manager. I have an 2003 Land Rover Discovery and two wheel lock nuts bolts were stripped and needed to use the spear lock nuts. The manager wanted to charge me for Time and Material to remove the lock. I asked him to give me a break and to try, but Joe insisted that it will take time to remove the nuts and bosted about his experience. He said I should give him a break. I agreed with the T&M. I time the tech to remove the old bolts. 1.21 mins. Taking bolts from spear was less 2.21 - it took more time removing the spear tire cover then the bolts. I normally use a private mechanic and will not trust AAA service. I am also a Premium Member and would think would be treated a little better and improve the customer service. Not happy with service manager at Laurel AAA. At the end of my service Joe said that he did his job by letting me know that he did his job of the potential costs. He did indeed, he said how long he worked on my car, but that time was already included with the service rendered. Joe is missing the point of customer satisfaction and not just telling me he that he followed company policy. I believe the customer satisfaction is part of Joes job. Star 1. I been waiting they told me an hour and a half that waa 230 its now 4:44. Its big clean very friendly place. Just i dont like to wait lol but overall they are good. I guess i came in the middle of a whole lot of customers ahead of me. Anyways i would still give it 5 stars its so clean and the staff is very nice. Came to check on me make sure that i was getting service tbe staff and the mechanics that workrd today 5 stars jonathan was very nice actual everyone was. I just dont remember there names 11/13/2018 need raises 😁

This is my first review, ever. My overall experience was HORRIBLE service, NONEXISTENT communication, and NO PRIDE in their workmanship. They will take your money and give you what they want. Pleasant people, especially Joe the manager. I actually really like him as a person, this is strictly business, but his operation and managerial skills are not where they should be. If you can avoid this place, please do. It will save you much time and headache. Not only do I feel this way, but as I was FINALLY leaving for the THIRD time from my initial problem, another customer was making complaints as well. I felt bad for the guy, I knew exactly how he felt, but also knew his probable outcome, an HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.Again, This is my first review, ever. This just speaks to the impression AAA of Laurel Maryland let on me. I WILL NEVER RETURN OR REFER ANYONE HERE! I arrived at the location at 1:30 p.m on June 5th due to a flat tire. After observing of the rest of my tires, I decided to to replace all 4 with a brand new set of Hankook tires. I arrived with 2 fairly good condition Hankook tires, one flat tire that was a full rim spare tire (michelin tire), and a used tire I just purchases a few days ago from hitting a pothole in DC (pirelli). After of my tires, I was told I really only needed to replace 2, the one that was flat and another tire on the front passenger. I decided to use the worn tire (pirelli) that was being taken off as a spare I would but in my trunk. I was told that specific tire needed to be ordered, which the location from which they were coming from about was 10-15 miles away, and they make shipments every couple of hours, so I should have everything done within a couple hours (3-4 hours). I was to receive an alignment check and a 40 point car inspection that was a free of charge with my service. I was extremely happy with the news and thankful that Joe ( the store manager) did not try to oversell me. The store provided me with lyft car service to return home instead of waiting in the store.At 4:32, I gave the center a call to check on the progress, and was instructed by Anthony (very pleasant employee), my car was still being serviced. At 6:47 p.m (the store closes at 7:00 p.m) I was given a call by Karin, that my car was still being serviced, and I should leave my car overnight. I thought this was the most obscured thing. This is my only personal means of transportation. If I was to accept, this would create a two day service, and me canceling my evening plans, canceling work and rearranging events of my tomorrow. I asked if I could please have my car the same day as I was promised.I arrived at the center to lock doors at 7:00 p.m. I was let in and asked to pay, even tho my car was still being serviced. I was hesitant to pay, because things started to look suspicious. Eventually, I paid so the rest of the staff could cash out and go home.I HATE THAT I DID. When I finally received my car at 7:45, there was no alignment inspection, no 40 point inspection, and a brand new tire in the truck of my car to be used as the spare while the used and worn pirelli tire still on the car.After voicing my complaint, I was told that no more work was being done that day, they were tired and ready to go home. So, with them having my hard earn money in their cash register and horrible workmanship provided, I was LIVID but remained calm.I was told to come back and things would be taken care of another day. I finally made it back a couple days later only to be told I would have to drop my car off ANOTHER 3-4 hours, which I couldnt do that day.SO I RETURNED YET AGAIN. This time to a much lesser patience. As you can imagine, my third day was a horrible as well. Fortunately, after about 2 hours, everything was corrected, and I left, vowing to never return.IF YOU CAN, AVOID THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU HAVE DAYS TO WASTE AND ENJOY HORRIBLE SERVICE.
