I had a great experience with Avery. Got a very fair price on my coins. Thank you!
I’d purchased a ring some time ago and now wish to sell it and make another purchase later. My fiancé wasn’t satisfied with the ring. When I called to speak with Neil Sackmary (owner), he told me that I have been driving everyone in the store crazy and he refuses to do business with me! I was flabbergasted!!! I’ve only called a few times and there were many months between calls. I wasn’t able to make a couple appointments but no appointments were ever confirmed. I’ve been an excellent customer! If you’re expecting good customer service and patients from the employees, especially the owner. Then I would refer you to any other business.
Honest and fair to me when I had to sell my diamond jewelry. They gave me a great deal when I traded in my sisters gold necklace on her Birthday for a new one, she loves it! And it didnt leave me broke for the upgrade. I take my friends there, its the only place I trust!
This was an all around good experience
Excellent Customer Service! Quick and eager to help me as soon as I came in the door. Prices are very fair, positive attitude. This has been my second time in a month I have sold as well as purchased product and I look forward to my next visit! Thank you Nevada Coin and Jewelry for the service you provided me yesterday.
I had a great experience working directly with Avery, pleasant, down to earth and straight forward. A real pleasure from start to finish. If you have any question call and speak with them. Thanks for are there help!
My Aunt recently passed and she lived in the outskirts of Las Vegas. While my sister and I went through her estate we found a number of items that neither of us considered keeping, but our aunt was clear in her will that she wanted us to use her things to make a profit and in turn use that money to help our futures. We shopped around, especially not being from the area, and got a lot of negative experiences just on the phone. People were rude, uninformative, and really just gave us a feeling they wanted to rip us off. It made us think of those dirty pawn shops you hear about. Finally I called Nevada Coin and Jewelry and the whole day shifted! We described a few pieces of jewelry and they helped us figure out initially a general value based on the metal. Of course, they did explain the importance of actually coming in and examining the pieces individually. That level of service over the phone got us through the door. When we went to the spot we were greeted with the same level courtesy, but the professionalism when going over each item and its value was through the roof! They took the time to explain why each item was worth what amount and even gave us a little bit of history on the styles. At the end of the day, my sister and I walked away with a sizable amount of money to put towards my sons college fund and my sisters vet school. Thanks, Nevada Coin and Jewelry!
I would highly recommend going to Nevada Coin and Jewelry! I went to a few other places before I found them and they offered me hundreds more than the other places. I’ll definitely be going to them again if I ever need to in the future.
Awesome service. No frills. Experienced buyers. Good offers on items. Very helpful and friendly.
Stopped in today to sell my coins. Great service and I think I got a fair deal. All in all a really nice experience. David and Nate were both really nice. Hence the 5 stars.
While vacationing in Las Vegas I did what a lot of people do I’m sure or at least that’s what I’m telling my wife ..I blew through the money I brought a little quicker than expected and I ended up having to shop my Rolex around to several dealers to save the trip. So I looked online for places, most offers over the phone were low and that’s if they would even quote me in the first place. I spoke to a guy at Nevada Coin and Jewelry who gave me a fair ball park price and a reasonable explanation as to why his number couldn’t be solid. Went down expecting to get the lower number and in fact Robert their Rolex expert said my Rolex was a better model then I had described. He paid me a higher number than he quoted. Thanks for saving my vacation guys.
Absolute worst service ever. If I could give them 0 stars I would. The “specialist” was so rude, and they have no idea what their talking about. Don’t waste your time, your better off asking someone off the street for the value of your item.
I brought them some gold pendents, rings and a few other pieces. I knew they werent worth that much but I needed the cash. The guys (and there are a lot of them) were really nice and not the least bit condescending. They know when you come in to sell there is a reason but they dont make you feel bad or inadequate. The store is filled with interesting objects for sale and for show. A very nice and very fair place to buy and sell. I highly recommend them.
This dealer was beyond excellent in all respects! No low-ball games, no fooling around. These people are honest, and the transaction was handled smoothly with complete transparency. I will definitely recommend Nevada Coin & Jewelry to everybody I know!
Went into their shop on Flamingo the other day with some old stuff I found that I havent worn for years. Some of it was broken and some was just stuff I would never wear anymore. They gave me a great price on my gold. I know because I checked around first and turns out they were the best. Also a real nice looking shop, plenty of cool stuff to look at and wish I had. The people there were friendly and didnt try to sell me into making a deal. They just gave me a price after looking my gold over and testing it with some cool machine and the price was the best I was offered. Pretty good transaction and its easy to see why these guys have such a good rep in town.
Do not deal with these unprofessional workers and such so called GIA there have no idea what they are talking about. Only way to find out yourself is to go in and see what they offer lol!!! I literately rather go to EZ PAWN for a better deal when selling my gold and diamonds! A no go for me.
Just sold some scrap Jewelry and 50 of my 1 oz silver coins. Avery gave me a reasonable price for the gold and more than I expected for the silver. They didn’t try to scam you here like another gold buying place I went to. Ill definitely be back again.
What a wonderful place this is. My Dad left me a few gold watches and I decided to sell them. Dave and Nate were really great! Explained to me what they were and the current value. I feel like I got a great deal.
I was helped by Avery, he was very knowledgeable and professional. I was given an honest and fair analysis of what I was selling, and was given a great offer. I am so glad I went here, I will definitely be back. I had some bad experiences around town with jewelers and pawn shops trying to rip me off. This place didnt do that, I was very impressed and pleased. A+ Thanks so much.
They have state of the art items. You get to look at how they value what you have right in front of you. They even have the stock market on line on so you will know the correct prices if you are selling gold items. These people are great.
Sahara Coins is a much better shop! I sold some silver to both places on the same day and Sahara Coins gave me a much better price than this place. I compared the two, and all around Sahara Coins is a lot friendlier, better atmosphere, and better prices. This place sucks!
This past Saturday I had the opportunity to meet the owner and team at Nevada Coin and Jewelry.I didnt know what to expect but they made me feel both comfortable and safe. I went through my collection of jewelry, both broken pieces and things I thought were of no value at all. They took the time to explain what each carat weight was worth and they helped me sort through my items. I was amazed at what they gave me for things I would never wear or use. I would recommend you stop in and speak to them, you might be as pleasantly surprised as I was.Suzanne
The Staff is very friendly & courteous, from the initial contact with the Security Guard to the Associates. Nick provided my assistance & he was professional, knowledgeable, courteous & patient. My transactions with the Staff were handled with honesty & integrity.
Friendly staff. Neil took the time to explain each step of the process of them buying, testing and what they would pay me for my gold and jewelry. I thought I might have some reservations about parting with some of my goods but at the same time I felt I was treated right was given honest information during the transaction. All in all it was a good experience and I got a good price.
As a first timer in selling, I was a bit apprehensive. I did not know what to expect and was a little worried about a previous reviewers comments. Yes the office was stark and clinical. The staff however, more than made up for any downfall in the decor. Very helpful, polite and understanding to any silly questions that were asked. All in all a pleasant experience, and one that should the opportunity arise I would go through again!
Extremely pleasant experience! I called before I went in the person I talked to was so nice and gave perfect directions. Turns out it was the owner! More than fair payout! Highly Recommend!
After seeing their ads on TV, I decided to see for myself if Nevada Coin and Jewelry was a company I could do business with. I am happy to report that even though there price was just about the same as other I had called, nobody was a genuinely nice and polite. The cash I got was what I expected, the personal experience extra good.
My friend and I came here to sell some coins and jewelry. We first saw Scott about some coins. He was very friendly and knew his stuff. Afterwards, he brought us over to Sheila who looked at our jewelry. She was also very nice and professional. We will definitely come back here again. GREAT PLACE!!!!
Went to a competitor at Eastern and Tropicana. They werent paying good prices for gold. Met Nicki Phillips who immediately paid the highest price I have ever gotten. Clean safe store. THESE GUYS ARE FOR REAL. AAA+++
Man I was hoping to get a little more for the silver coins but Im happy. I literally got there right when he was locking the door. He was could of told me I was to late and come back again and having to take the bus would of been a pain.
Dealer was beyond great excellent in all respects. These people are honest** and the transaction was handled smoothly with complete transparency. I will definitely recommend Nevada Coin & Jewelry to everybody I know about recommended them.
Great. Fast. Honest. One of the best interactions I had with a business like this.
Outstanding experience! This is the best place to change your gold with a great attention. Im completely impressive because they have a smooth and fast service, definitely nice people!
Ive been buying and selling gold for years as a small hobby, while living in different states. Just moved to Lv in the past year or so and have been looking for an easy, straight up store front to do so here. Went to offload a 1oz bar and definitely found my new stop in town for buying/selling. Clean, secure, nothing fancy (good thing imo), and they paid a very standard and fair rate from what Ive seen in my years of doing this. Will be transacting all future business here while Im in Las Vegas.
I recently got divorced so I wanted to get rid of some of the jewelry my ex-husband got me. I found Nevada Coin and jewelry searching the web. When I called the guy that answered the phone was friendly and willing to quote me a price per gram. I went to their store on Flamingo, Avery whom I spoke to on the phone tested my items using some kind of x-ray machine. I could see that some of my jewelry was not the karat I thought (some lower some higher). He paid what he quoted on the phone no bait and switch. It took less than 15 minutes got my cash and got rid of some bad memories. I would recommend this company if you are looking to sell jewelry.
Been living in Vegas for many years and never had to sell or hock any of my items unfortunately as luck would have it that day did eventually find me and let me tell you is it a tough racket to find a decent place out here to do business with. Pawn shops are a joke and could care less about their customers and treated me like another number. Tried and tried and place after place the numbers where all over the place. Finally decided to go to these guys and I’m glad I did. They tested each piece of my jewelry right in from of me with some kind of xray machine. They explained how they calculated the price and paid me cash on the spot. Avery was very helpful and didn’t mind answering my questions and explaining what they do. I left feeling I got the best price for my items. I would recommend them to anyone looking to sell their jewelry.
I called just about every gold buyer in Vegas only to be given double talk and prices as if I were a compulsive gambler who needs some money to play slots with. I finally called Nevada Coin and they gave me full price for my scrap PLUS they will supply me with bullion for my jewelry casting business. DONT waste your time calling others over and over, you will hit DEAD ENDS. Call Nevada coin and jewelry first... :) its worth the trip.
Always exception customer service and a pleasure to do business with.
I went to another business to get a second appraisal of my collection and and they were $3,000.00 less than what Nevada Coin and Jewelry offerd me. Neil was very honest and above board and explained completely how he arrived at his bid. It was a real pleasure to do business there and I sold him my complete collection.
Friendly, well informed staff. It was a super positive, fun experience. Will absolutely recommend!
Im very happy I stopped by here to sell my old coins and gold. Staff is very friendly and gave me the best quote around. I would definetly recommend this business.
They are just as crooked as any other gold purchaser. They claim to buy on a sliding scale. The more gold you bring in the more money they claim to offer you for your gold; which is absolute bologna. When they go to resell their gold, I hope they get bamboozled with the same phuckuating scale. Everybody has a dam scheme. Trying to find a honest straightforward business in this town is like trying to find a needle in a ocean.
A great group of people work here fair and honest pricing unique items is a treasure hunt and its so fun to go in and see whats new! Neil is very informative!
My cousin recommended I stop in when I visit Las Vegas, best coin shop I have ever been to they have more experience and know what they are doing.
Courteous and professional staff, computer mineral scanning, and speedy service. Glad I came here before a pawn shop. Super rad stuff on the wall too!!!!!
NEVADA COIN AND JEWELRY - HAS EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE - PROVIDING LAS VEGAS WITH TOP NOTCH SERVICE AND EXPERTISE - THIS IS MY PRIMARY COIN DEALERS -- OTHERS JUST CANT KEEP UP - THEY ARE HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY - IN MY OPINION THEY ARE THE BEST IN THE SOUTH WEST AREA -- SO THATS MY REVIEW A++++ RATING - BECAUSE I AM A GOOD CUSTOMER - THIS IS THE BEST PLACE TO BUY AND SELL GOLD AND SILVER BULLION.

I went to try to sell my 2 ounce gold chain 14k they offer me 900 like what kind drugs yall on...I went to eazy pawn got 1700 for it
Been dealing with them for like 4 years with no regrets excellent coin shop. 5 STAR for sure.
As an avid coin collector I have found Nevada Coin and Jewelry very professional and extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of coin collecting. You will not be disappointed if you pay them a visit.
This place is definitely recommended!!! A.J. and David are amazing...very helpful and nice people at that! I would totally consider going to this place.
They are always willing to have a fair conversation whether your buying or selling. I never feel like Im being swindled or misinformed, this is definitely the place to buy and sell coins, precious metals and jewelry.
I was very pleased with the service i received from Avery. He kept his word and gave me a fair deal.
Avery and staff are polite knowledgeable and honest. No BS just great service and fair appraisals.
My name is Mike and I currently write a blog for 6 separate Newspapers across the Western US - and for the last 5 Days, I have been testing Foreign Currency Exchanges throughout Las Vegas (Hotels, Casinos and Air Fields) - to see if Tourists are getting their moneys worth out of vacationing in a town built on Tourist Dollars. I arrived at all locations with the following currency:15 Malaysian Ringgits (obscure, yes, but it adds to the overall validity)10 British Pounds15 Canadian Dollars90 EuroEquating to approximately $134.00 US on the Currency World Exchange for 02 April, 2013.This week, I went off the grid and tested a Coin and Gold Exchange Store.I arrived at LV Coin with the above mentioned currency. I stated I arrived at this odd amount of currency from my job. The Store Employee said Tips. Tips? In Ringgits? Yeah, lets go with that. The store gave me $90 US for the exchange, making a hefty $40 profit. I was given a receipt for my transaction which showed a Quantity of 1 Foreign Note Lot. There was no breakdown by Nationality of Currency as you would expect of any reputable currency exchange nor was I ever shown any rates on a calculator or paper. Now, granted, I understand a Coin Shop isnt really in the business of exchanging currency and you should expect a non-standard rate of exchange, but $43 on $134 is a bit much. Note to all - Keep currency exchange transactions with businesses that deal soley with money transactions - not with antiquities in coins or novelties. One further note - I have approximately $1,800 Bahraini Dinar. On the Currency Exchange - this is valued at $4477.66 US Dollars - LV Coin Shop Quoted me $2,800 US. That is an $1,811.66 profit on their part. If anyone were to ever exchange large sums of currency with this vendor, youd be a fool. Moral of the story, stick with actual Currency Exchanges. Even a Casino or Hotel Front Desk is going to give you a better rate than a store that doesnt specialize in handling large amounts of money, foreign and domestic.
Professional, friendly staff. Knowledgeable and fair. An interesting experience and would definitely visit again.
Very professional and friendly staff. Took there time to be accurate.
Answered every question I had was very pleasant. Thank you
I would do 10 stars but 5 is the max these guys are very awesome great customer service and they do fair prices when they buy stuff I would recommend them to anybody who buys gold or silver.
Friendly, helpful & professional. Bought my foreign coins & explained the reason that the exchange services around town wont exchange foreign coin..
Excellent peeps on staff with good knowledge
Offered me $600 for a ring appraised for $9000 i understand they need to make money but comon. They also tried to stop me from shopping around which was not very professional.
All I can say is don’t waste your time, brought in many different items and they just tried to basically steal them for pennies on the dollar!!
Great to deal with. Very upfront and transparent with the whole process.
If you have dental gold, this is the place to go. They are very knowledgable and fair. I would definately recomend them.
The best place to go they will help you out as best as they can
Great people great service wasted time searching around for the best price, nevada coin and jewelry beat everyone else by far hands down! highly recomended
I inherited a lot of gold and silver coins and had no idea what they were worth. I went to 2 coin appraisers before Nevada Coin and they were only interested in the Gold and Silver value of coins. Turns out some of my coins were very rare and had numismatic value. I cannot thank AJ and Dennis enough and took their advice to have the coins professionally graded at PCGS. And they gave me the top dollar for the other gold and silver coins. If you have coins that you think might be rare and valuable then by all means go to more than one coin appraiser or get a 2nd opinion. I think the biggest lesson I learned is that the business that advertise the most are not always the most honest.
Great people, very knowledgeable. This is the only place I would go!
Stopped in here on my trip to Las Vegas. The staff was very friendly and helpful, sold some jewelry and got a great price.
I went there years ago and just went back last week. Very nice people.
Crooks! Stay away from this place. These guys will try to get over on you if they can. Traditional scum bags, the kind you dont write home about. These guys will take advantage and find any weakness they can to exploit you.DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hands Down The Best Shop In Town
I was in Nevada coin and jewelry a few weeks ago can I brought in several pieces of gold and some antique coins AJ gave me a lowball offer and in addition to that he kept bad mouthing Neil, his competition at Nevada coin Mart. The lack of professionalism in addition to the low offer I received will cause me never to come into that store again.
Tried to sell some items at the place and they just seemed very abrupt. Maybe a bad day but very low offers. Got 35% higher on the next call
This place is a rip off, DONT WAIST YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY 👎👎👎👎👎😫
Friendly crew, fast service
Hwy ropery!!
Walked in and we were ignored !
Fair
