We got a Groupon to cover the cost of an oil change. When it was time to use the Groupon the company stated they had no oil and was waiting for it to come that Monday or Tuesday. An appointment was scheduled, my phone number taken, and my expectations high. Got there at the appointed time, only to be told the oil never got there. I called everyday for the rest of the week. Nothing. I had to take it somewhere else and spent $80. Not too happy about that.

The owners of the business Teddy Boothe and Todd Nolte just scammed hundreds of people out of thousands of dollars. I’m sure many don’t even realize, Teddy ran off with your cash, didn’t fix your car (in some cases created new problems) and their cars have been impounded over the weekend yet but they will. Please keep hassling the attorney general and news stations about this situation. My estimate is hundreds of thousands were stolen from hard working Las Vegas families. Walking into Teddys shop cost me $3200 and add on to what I will have to pay to a new mechanic.

Waste of time. I scheduled an appointment two days ago for 11am today just to be told that the Tech who does diagnostics was not there. I drove from 18 miles away! When I asked the guy at the desk why no one called me, he just raised his hands and shook his head. Reliable? Completely unprofessional and a waste of time.

I went with my cousin to have her Cadillac SRX to get full service and have all 4 tires replaced for $1200 First it took forever for the tires to arrive . They kept telling us the tires would be in tomorrow which took about 3 tomorrows, which became a headache trying to coordinate around the information that Reliable Auto was giving us to set up the appointment. When they finally received the tires it took them several hours past the time they told me the vehicle would be ready. When we got the car home we noticed that one center piece was missing. My cousin calls reliable auto and they told her that a center piece will be in on Tuesday and we can bring the vehicle in to have it put on. I get to reliable auto Thursday and talk to Joseph who says that he forgot to order the center cap and to come back the next day and the center cap will be in. I called several times the next day Friday and Joseph says that the center cap should be on the truck that hes waiting on, and hell call me back as soon as the truck comes in. At 3 pm I call to get an update on if the truck came it, he says theyre still waiting on the truck and if the center cap isnt on the truck hell go pick up the center cap himself and I can bring the vehicle in the morning to have it installed. Five minutes after I hang up with Joseph, he calls back and says that the person that put the tires on the vehicle said he put the center cap on and theyre washing their hands of the situation. I ask Joseph that he thinks its a coincidence that they day we have the tires replaced that the center piece ends up missing, after its been there So after dealing with Reliable Auto for a week about this issue they say theyre not going to do anything. The center cap isnt a major issue but its the principle of the matter. How Reliable Auto is handling the situation. It seems that ever since Chevy left the service for reliable auto has taken a drastic nose dive. We will no longer be doing any business with reliable auto and hopefully after you read this review you will follow suit.

Where do I even begin. After several attempts to repair the ticking issue my engine has, I gave in and decided to research a few auto shop. Reliable seemed like a really reputable shop per the reviews. The next day I drop my vehicle off an hour after they opened and inform Teddy of my findings and concerns. He is very familiar with this particular engine. I leave feeling good about the experience. Everything from there is downhill. I receive a call from the tech working on my vehicle informing me my lifter should be replaced. I didnt see any issues with my lifters when I was in there but Im not the professional. I agree to having them replaced, the tech says hopefully I wont need new camshafts and rocker arms. I was a little puzzled by this statement since the lifters are under the rocker arms which are under the camshaft, but I left it alone. Hours later the tech calls back suggesting I get the camshafts and rocker arms replaced as well tacking an additional $1700 on top of the $1420 lifter job. I decline, the tech immediately says he can not guarantee the lifters will resolve my issue and once he closes everything up itll cost $2500 if he has to open it up again. I still decline thinking my vehicle should be done shortly. The next morning I call the shop looking for an update, Teddy informs my parts recently arrived and Ill have my vehicle back today. A literal whole work day passes, Im now really frustrated because I have to work at 6am and this is my only vehicle at the moment due to my wifes car being totaled a month ago. I receive the call to pick up my vehicle an hour before they close with the news of my vehicle still ticks but Ill probably be happy with it, per the tech. They inform I do not have a warranty on the parts since I didnt replace the camshafts and rocker arms. My vehicle was returned in worse shape than when I left it. High rev at start up, loss of power around 36mph, drives really rough now, and on top of that the tech didnt reassemble my intake completely. Brackets, studs and nuts are missing. Im so irritated and do not know what to do at this point. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE!

I am a female senior citizen These guys really tried to take advantage of me. After they did my 40,000 mile service, my a/c started making a loud noise. I went back and they told me I needed a motor blower, which they said the part was about $900. They never would give me an invoice stating that. I later found out that part was actually about $300. I found out I didnt even need that part. It turned out when that serviced my car they left some debris in it. Once removed it was fine.

Dont waste your time or money. The manager, Joseph, blatantly lied to me several times. It was the most shady business practice I have ever seen. Do your homework if youre brave enough to have work done here.

Reliable Automotive Repair really knows how to run a business in a smooth and honest way. Went in for an oil change and my car was taken in right away. They didnt try to upsell me anything and it was absolutely perfect with a more than fair price. Very happy.

On my way to Las Vegas, my Subaru Imprezas check engine light came on. I called Subaru of LV, because of my warranty, and they told me they had no availability this weekend. Riiiight.So cut to me calling Reliable Automotive. I said hey, Im driving into Vegas and my check engine light came on, can I bring it in today? And they said to bring it as soon as I was in town.Teddy was great in explaining their process and pricing, then he took a look at my car and told me exactly what was wrong with it. I dont know a lot about cars, but he explained everything in a way that made total sense to me. The only downside is that Teddy is a Yankees fan. (Go Sox!!)I am beyond delighted that they could get us in so soon and give me peace of mind when I drive home on Sunday. Its no wonder they have such good reviews!

I bought a groupon and called to make an appointment, the guy was very nice and said to just come by and that oil changes are in and out in about 30 minutes. I stopped by at 1pm the next day and waited for about 10 minutes while the manager was on a personal call (someone had told me). He then told me they couldn’t do my oil change that day and to come back the next day. I showed up at 8am the next day to make sure I could get the oil change done and waited outside the locked door for 15 minutes while there was arguing inside. A man came out around 8am and said they were having a “pow wow” and that he got kicked out. I would not recommend going there due to the lack of professionalism. I requested a refund for my Groupon as well.

Came in to have my power window on my truck looked at and see what it would be to have it repaired. Being it was late Sunday. I didnt think they could do it today. They said they could repair it today Sunday. They even stayed after the shop closed to finish it today.

Chevy, Teddy, all of the staff at Reliable AutoChevy has been taking care of my car, my sons car, my daughter in law and friends for over 10 years. Always totally HONEST! Not only do they tell you what you need they tell you what you need to do now. Chevy understands none of us plan of large car repairs. They NEVER oversell what you need. I feel like family and that is the way EVERYONE IS TREATED. I know first hand as I have had to sit and wait for my car as I drive a long way to get here and will always drive this far for Chevy and all of the crew. Ive been to the other places and they will take you to the cleaners with what you allegedly need. I came in this time thinking my car was finally on its last leg and would probably need a transmission. I originally stopped in at Reliable Automotive Repair this time last year to get my brakes looked at. The staff was very nice and told me to come back in a year as they had some life left in them.I contacted them and was able to get a same day appointment. It was clear the front brakes needed to be replaced along with the struts and shocks. Chevy and John were very helpful and gave me a fair and reasonable quote.It took them about three hours to get everything completed. The staff seemed to enjoy their job and worked hard to service all of the vehicles. The technician tool the vehicle for a test drive before turning it back to me.

I came in for an oil change, but this place is great for so much more than a cheap oil change. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They gave me a free diagnostic and refilled my wiper fluid. They also gave me a 50% discount on the oil change with a coupon I didn’t even have on me or ask about.

I COULD NOT RECOMMEND ANY CAR REPLACE HIGHER!!! Teddy and his staff were incredible friendly and informative. I walked in a complete mess because my car broke down and two other shops (that came recommended) could not figure out what was wrong.Reliable auto repair figured it out with in an hour of me dropping off my car. We finally found an honest and great place for our car repairs. They are not over priced, very informative on car issues and they honor our veterans. I would highly recommend Reliable. They also have a wonderful young man named a John Michael who will make sure you get in for repairs in a timely manner and if you have an emergency will get you taken care of right away. Reliable Auto Repair did an amazing job! My car broke down as we were traveling through to California. They fixed my car in an exceptionally timely manner in order to get us back on the road! Being open on a Sunday was a huge plus for us and they did everything they could to accommodate our travel plans. So glad we chose them for our auto repair!

Just got a car I had been using signed over in my name yesterday.Its older car and had a few things wrong with it. I had called other places way before and held off after hearing I would be charged upwards of $150.00 just to LOOK at it... I thought, man thats how they make their money I guess, everyone must just charge horribly... Since I finally have the car under my name I quickly wanted to get ALL the things wrong with it out of the way and knew Id have to bite the bullet. But thank god for the one place that stood out to me with great reviews. I walked right in, had a chat about what I needed, the ticket was swiftly written up and all I needed fixed was done in so short of time and for less that $100 when I thought I was going to be scraped to the bone and have to chop off an arm and a leg to go with it! The staff was awesome, everyone asked if Id like some water and had a pleasant and cheerful attitude. They genuinely enjoy their work or have good company for co-workers to keep them so cheerful and kind. This place has the word “Reliable” in it however it has been anything BUT reliable. The car was towed Tuesday morning. We had gone over the work that needed to be done, and time frame it needed to be done by. This place was fully confident that this was going to be done by Thursday however here we are Saturday still with no car. They had the car Tuesday and they had stated that they would take the transmission out that day however we called in Wednesday and it was stated that they in fact never took the transmission out Tuesday and on Wednesday when receiving the actual new transmission then told us that when they took the old one out the new one wasn’t compatible for the vehicle. They said they’d get the other one in and that was the end of the discussion. We called back Wednesday evening for the update and was told that they did not have the new transmission because the vendor closed early due to the rain.... the rain didn’t start till Wednesday evening so that pushed us another day, Thursday. The due date is Thursday and now it’s Saturday evening. We pick up the car they state they did a test drive. We only drove for 30min & it’s leaking transmission fluid. WE ARE SUPPOSE TO BE GOING BACK HOME BY THIS POINT. We live 8 hours away, took time off of work and traveled down for this work to be done & it wasn’t even done.Every time we call we speak to John there is always an excuse as to why it keeps getting pushed out.A lot of the excuses are vague never specific which makes me believe that they were not working on it as intensely as they should have been and are covering their butts. Whenever there is a call back promised he never follows through. This establishment along with employees do not know the meaning of being professional/professionalism.1. Setting an expectation that was not met2. The condescending tone JOHN continues to use in conversation because he’s getting tired of dealing with customers due to his establishment lack of customer service & fulfillment of expectations.3. URGENCY. Most Americans can not take off this much time for car problems. If you say it’s going to be done within a time frame MAKE IT HAPPEN4. When you or your establishment mess up it is up to YOU to handle it and you are required to MAKE IT RIGHT. Otherwise the representation of your establishment will proceed to go down the toilet.We have been nothing but nice and understanding with them and have gotten the run around continuously.We are completely dissastified with the service as the transmission is leaking fluid & additionally, the front left light which they had stated they fixed still is not working.We genuinely DO NOT recommend this place and to please look elsewhere for work. They lack customer service, professionalism and empathy and quality of work, it’s better that you spend your money and time elsewhere as Jon, Todd and Theadore do not care about yours.10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND

I brought in a used 2008 Acura TL for pre-purchase inspection; the guy(s) were very straightforward, clearly and concisely described every issue and explained the risk prospects! I called back the next morning for some extra clarification on a couple of minor issues and it was smooth as silk. Very professional and very efficient.

I have been here several times​, mainly for small things such as oil changes. They were always good to work with then, so I went back for a larger project today. Power steering, AC, oil change. Come to find out there were a few other things that were going out that needed replacing ASAP, mainly hoses. The bill got up there rather quickly, and Paul, noticed I was getting semi frustrated with the situation because I hadnt anticipated doing everything else at the time nor have the funds to do so. Luckily, they also offer an easy pay financing option, he walked me through that and I was approved instantly. They will have my car for a week waiting on a few parts, which I didnt want to do due to having to use said car for work this week. Paul offered to complete what they could do today and let me come back next weekend to complete the remaining part that was on order, I initially chose to do that but was able to work out vehicle arrangements with my wife for the week so I didnt have to. Paul, Stephan, Cliff and Arron, all went over and beyond to ensure I was comfortable throughout everything. Ill be happy to finally have AC again and a car in good working order! Thank you you the team at Reliable, I will always be a loyal customer after today, and will be sure to send everyone I know to see you!!

I chose Reliable because I had a coupon for an oil change, and they had 5 star reviews. I know why! Everyone was SUPER friendly, very reasonable pricing, comfortable waiting room...Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a refreshing automotive shop experience.

Quality service and they hold there word. They have helped me with any situation and offer easy financing on costly repairs. This is the only shop i feel comfortable taking my car to.

The guys were really professionals and transparent with the diagnostic of the work needed on my van and I have to say that their customer service went way beyond expectations. Our van broke down in Las Vegas while traveling around the western states and luckily for us Reliable was open on Sunday, I right away felt like the guys were genuinely trying to help us out not only mechanically but with all other arrangements that a non-local had to deal with (place to sleep, vehicle, etc..). I would rate Reliable with seven stars if I could, they fixed my engine and more in record time and I now feel like I have a brand new van. I wouldnt go anywhere else for car repair if Id live in LV. Was driving through Las Vegas and my vehicle died. Had my vehicle towed to there shop. The owner came and looked at my vehicle immediately. The problem was figured out and fixed within 30min. Very honest, they could have charged me allot more than they did. Overall very happy with my service!

My brother recommended this shop to get a smog diagnosis/repair. I arrived when they opened and was immediately greeted with a friendly smile. They have great customer service and their prices are reasonable.

Took my car in because my heater wouldnt work. I was scared it would be an expensive fix. I was told up front what would be done before I had to pay for anything. I agreed to the diagnostic. Chevy spent about an hour with my car. He explained very thoroughly how he got the heater to work by simply resetting the system. No repair needed. He also advised me if it malfunctions again we could try replacing the thermostat and work from there. My heater is working perfectly. They will be my go to mechanics from now on. Very reliable and honest.

I have been coming here for over a year and they are quick and honest about what the car needs. They dont make up things for you, the customer, to pay for something your car doesnt need. They show me whats wrong by visually pulling it out of my car. For example, I just came in for a oil change and they called me to my car and pulled my air filter out and showed me how dirty it is and asked if I wanted to change it and that they would recommend it. Best and trustworthy auto place Ive been in. I recommend this place to everyone.

Went to go get some work done on my car one of which included changing motor mounts they ended up missing to change one and they told me that they were waiting for the park well its been over a month and a half and I still havent gotten the job done completely on my car. Went back to let them know they apologized said they were gonna get the part overnight and that was a week ago and still no response I tried contacting one of the managers and still no response. They need to get their act together and finished the job I payed for.

I have been coming here for years to fill up my weekly 20 gallons of propane for my bus in the summer. Everyone here, from their basic Mechanics to managers and owners are just very friendly, forthcoming and knowledgeable. Great people, cheapest propane around good service.

Reliable just like the title says. Good management and they are honest and fair in their pricing. They give it to you straight. I got an advertisement in the mail from reliable Automotive. I was excited to see that they offer financing. I took my car in the get repairs so I could get my car smoged and registered. The repair bill came up to $2800.00 for Cat. converter, tune up, valve cover gasket, coil #6 replacement, and a oil cooler, replacement of driver seatbelt connector. I went in on 01/09/2020 and my car have not drove right since then I have returned for corrective repair three times they even kept it over night just to return it in the same way check engine light is still on my car is shaking so hard my water was vibrating. They never even fixed the seat belt and when I asked John he said let me check oh we have to order the part which I was told it was going to order a week ago. and my car keep making a noise like something is loose when I make a turn or go around a curve. I have been so stressed dealing with this shop and my car Im truely believing they got they payment thru financing so they dont care about my car being fixed. Im scared to take my car back a fourth time because I gave them three chances to get it right and Its no happy ending simple night mare. but because they are getting paid I have to pray they will get it right the 4th time. lesson learned.🙁😢😢

I have used Reliable Automotive quite frequently. I never had any problems, and the people there are friendly and helpful. Theyre always willing to answer your questions. They have done extra work without charging you. They make legitimate suggestions about your vehicle.

I failed a smog test and then had a diagnostic done to figure out the problem. Rather than upsell me something I didnt need, I was given the option of driving the car around on my own and then coming back for a smog re-test. Sure enough, I passed the second time around! Im from out of state, here to help my sister. She needed her truck looked at and asked me to find somewhere to take it. I went thru a few various shops reading reviews and loved the reviews of this place, so decided to try it out. I am sooo pleased. They got me in asap and diagnosed the issue. In the mean time, they saw a vacuum hose that was disconnected and hooked it back up w/o charging me. Chevy (one of the workers) explained in detail what the truck needed until I felt confident I understood all he was saying. They also are willing to set up payments, which is an amazing option for those on a tight budget. Certainly, I will tell my sister this is the only shop she needs to use for her vehicle care. The entire staff was kind, polite and seemed like they had a great time together as co-workers, letting me know the atmosphere was cool and relaxed. *smile* Thanks for your help Chevy!!

Took my car here for oil change and they told me other stuff needed attention but not immediately but I told them to go ahead with it because I dont wanna deal with the problems later. They are really friendly here and let you know what needs to be done and reasonable price

I can call and ask questions if I’m having a problem with my vehicle. I really can not say enough nice things about this place. This is the only place I will take my truck. Chevy and the techs are what I like to see in a repair shop.We drove down from Washington and as we pulled into town 6/31/19 are water pump started leaking.They got right on it and should have us back on the road soon. Around 3 hours from start to finish!
