AVOID THIS PLACE!!! Visited this place in the morning today on 08/14/21. Two people at the desk and three mechanics standing in the room but none of them had a bit of professionalism or a business sense at all. I was standing for good 10min but nobody even made an eye contact while flashing their lousy attitude. My concern was that if they are so ignorant in your presence, how can you expect that they will provide the best of the attention to the needs of your car. I started the ignition of my Lexus and left for good.

Check engine light came on my wife’s car, Called and scheduled a diagnostic. Was told a flat rate of $115, Plus it goes to your repair. Wife takes her car in and they try to charge her $200! Extra $85 most likely because she’s a girl and they thought they could hustle her? I take her car up there later in the day, it’s $115 again? I’ve got two different prices on paper for the exact same thing and car? Thank you Jessie, $85 hustle just lost all your credibility. Untrustworthy. Unprofessional. Will take my business elsewhere.

Made an appointment for 2:30 and was told I was going to be contacted. No one reached out to me. When I got here, they said they wouldnt be able to get to me until next week. The online reservation said they could only reserve up to two days ahead. Wasted 20 minutes of driving for terrible communication. Id rather go to Jiffy Lube.

Well I was quoted one price but ended up paying more. So Im unhappy with that.So for now Ill give 4 stars until I have driven my car for awhile.

This mechanic is the best shop I have ever been to and Im sad to say I dont live around here in able to come back. My car had overheated and Im trying to get home to Utah. They were quick and courteous. They walked me through every step. I called and the owner Aaron and the rest of the crew could tell I was anxious to get home so they didnt mess around and got it done. The technician Tyler took me back to the shop and showed me exactly what was going on in my radiator and explained everything he was going to do that saved time and money so I could get back on the road, he was very nice and detailed in his explanation. I highly recommend these guys!!!

Im a regular customer at this shop. We take both of our vehicles here. However, my last experience was very frustrating. Service was fine, but I dont understand why it took 4.5 hrs and I had to call twice for the status on just an oil change. Wasted my whole day. I was not a walk-in customer, I made an appointment days ahead of time.

I went in for an oil change like I had many times before with no problems. This time though, my vehicle, which is fairly new under 20k miles, was returned with the console, steering wheel, and the drivers cloth seat smeared with grease from the mechanics clorhes that I assume did the work and had delivered the vehicle to me after the maintenance. He walked away from the vehicle handing me the keys. I didnt even enter the vehicle before noticing all the grease. NOT dirt, dust, but GREASE. I got the manager which then ordered the same, greasy mechanic to clean it up. I did not notice any specialized cleaners that were used. There were 3 different people swirling around the vehicle during this cleaning. I was summoned when the vehicle was finished for me to take, and the manager told me it was wet from the cleaning and they have covered the seat while it dried. The next morning I removed the plastic and it was actually worse than the original condition, because whatever they had used for cleaner only smeared the grease over a larger area. After seeing the interior that next morning in better light, again, whatever they used as a cleaner had only smeared the grease on the vinyl console and surrounding trim work.It is a holiday Sunday and I have yet had the opportunity to approach management there, but the parts of the interior affected will have to be cleaned by a professional company since the grease had been ground into the seat fabric.Im very disappointed in the lack of caring from the mechanic that did it, and again disappointed in the management that allowed him to he so negligent.I will approach management after the holidays and insist the vehicle be cleaned professionally at their expense.REVIEW UPDATE:I was contacted by Sun Auto which expressed concern for my dissatisfaction and urged me to have the vehicle cleaned at a place of my choice at their expense. I truly believe their concern was genuine and they couldnt have reacted faster.I do recommend them for any service needs in spite of this unfortunate event, but their dedication toward bringing it to a happy conclusion could not have been faster, more appreciated and more respected.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Service was good. But I waited all day just to get some pretty bad news. I understand it takes a while to make calls to check for parts. But a courtesy call would help, letting me know theyre still checking out my truck, or something. But I dropped my truck at 8:20, I walked in about 3PM and was finally seen. Just bad customer service . I would n probably go back, as I respect the place, but I think they should handle customers waiting a little better. Especially if they tell me 2 hours and it ends up being about 7.

I needed air in my tires and I am unable to do this task and the young gentleman who works there was so very cordial and helpful! I definitely recommend this shop to all!

I got an oil change and free inspection at this location. It took about an hour, and they found three issues with my car. I declined service on these three issues, mostly because it was my first time there and I wasnt sure I could trust them. Later on, I personally investigated these three issues and found that they indeed necessary, and the prices they quote were reasonable. A good first impression.

Aaron and his team were wonderful! They got my car fixed and back to me as promised and in a timely fashion. I had the ac go out and although not fun news to get Aaron explained everything to me and answered all my follow-up questions and concerns. I never felt rushed In my decision making and now have a great working ac again! Will definitely be doing all further maintenance here.

They do it all in a quick and polite manner and always go above and beyond expectations. Wouldnt take any of my cars anywhere else. It seems like they did a good job on my oil change and they did not charge me for doing diagnostics on my vehicle. However, when I arrived the car was sitting out front and on. When I got inside it smelled like pizza and there were greasy fingerprints on the door. This is the first time I have ever had my oil changed when I was not told I needed an air filter (and I really did; I got one today). As a bonus (bc I know I would over pay) I asked them to put new windshield wipers on. They did not.The guy who helped me at the counter had a mask on that was too small so his nose stuck out. They had us sign paperwork with dirty pens. There was a customer in the waiting area without a mask. I did not feel safe with the sanitation in light of the Covid situation.

This is my second time coming here and I’m super satisfied with the customer service, quality of work done to my vehicle and the prices are reasonable! The guys in the office are hilarious! It’s always great going to a shop and seeing everyone in a great mood and enjoying what the do! Definitely recommend this place!

I’ve been going to Sun Auto for about a year and a half now (I’ve lived in LV for about two years) and they’ve taken great care of me. I often refer my friends to them when they are in need of good quality auto service. I usually just go to them for oil changes, however I have had them fix an oil pan gasket (about $500 for my car, but other places had quoted me around $700). They may take a little longer than your usual oil change, however they take a thorough look at the car and if there are problems they want to explain to you, they will take you out to the car and SHOW you what’s wrong.I frequent the Washington location and the location on N Stephanie and I have always had good experiences. Customer service is great as well as quality of service for my car!

Jesse was such a great guy! We just came in for our key fob battery problem and he kindly changed the battery and didn’t charge us for it. Really great service!

My vehicle has been with these guys for the simplest mechanics to extremely difficult.The staff and Technicians will go above and beyond to fix whatever is wrong with your car. Aaron, Devin, and Jessie are very professional and solid! They will walk you through and consistently update you through your experience. Prices are as stated and will not fluctuate unless major work is needed. Highly recommend their services!

They tried to rip us off. We took our car over for a quote cause we noticed the transmission fluid leaking. They diagnosed it and quoted us just over $3300 and said if we did all the work they would discount it to $3200 so a little over $100 discount. We took it to 2 other shops and they both quoted only $1900. We ended up getting the work done elsewhere for almost half of what sun auto quoted. In my opinion they are way over priced. I’m not even sure how thy could quote the work that high. Won’t be using them ever again.Reply to owner,Unfortunately my coming by isn’t going to benefit anyone nor do I have the time to bring a receipt by. I would be happy to email it to you if you’d like to provide me with one. However I will say we started with your shop and then took our BMW Z4 to two other shops known to work on bmws and they agreed with exactly what your techs told us was needed to repair the car only their quotes were far less than Sun Auto.

Friendly quick service. From the beginning, the gm Scott was very personable and friendly. Diagnosis was quick and when the initial place he called my my radiator was a bit high, he went out of his way to make multiple calls to get me the best rates.They even had a shuttle service to my house and promptly called when the work was done. Being in customer service myself, it was refreshing to be on the receiving end of 5 star service. Thank you sun auto!

Ive had to take my car in a couple of times now, both for simple maintenance and for larger repairs. I would go back in a heartbeat. Everyone is super friendly and straightforward, always taking time to explain how something works and why it may be more or less crucial to fix. I never feel like Im getting the runaround to spend money on a repair that I may not actually need. One of the representatives even went so far as to call another company to see if I still had a warranty on a part that needed replacing (which I did, thereby saving me a couple hundred bucks). I had to have some pretty extensive work done to fix a steering issue on my car, and when I got it back it was like driving a brand new car. I love it here; their service and quality of work goes above and beyond.

I just dropped off my car 2002 Honda Accord because it started overheating this afternoon. I went to Terribles next to Red Rock and all the mechanics there were telling me this was the place Togo. The office staff is extremely friendly and I would recommend this place as well, and from reading the other reviewers I am happy I did find this place. Now Im at Roadrunner waiting for a call back from the shop to find out what is happening.

I have been using Sun Auto for many, many years and have always found their people to be courteous and upkeep and repair work to be efficient and reasonably priced. I was in today and was served by Jayson. He is somewhat new there, but his customer service skills are great. I am a senior with some physical disabilities and he was kind enough to find a more comfortable chair for me while waiting for my work to be done. That is wonderful customer service!

Great honest service. Went in for a oil change and asked to check all the filters on the air and filtration system and they said everything was fine. Only charged for the oil change. Very honest

Great as always ! I misplaced (=lost) my rcpts for buying a battery in 2018 with a 5-yr warranty but they had out in their records son no chtg for battery replacement 😄.

I have been here with both my wife’s and my vehicles and have been happy with quality of the repairs and the service writers each time. After getting quotes for repairs at the dealer and other shops, I found them not only competitive, they were able to get the vehicles back when they promised. Not always the fastest shop, but so far haven’t had to take it back for to fix their repair from a rush job.

I drive a Chrysler 300 srt8, its my baby and I wont take it just anywhere. I trust Aaron and his staff to take great care of my vehicle. Great service, affordable repairs and trustworthy work. I highly recommend taking your car into this location.

Went in for an oil change, they said they check all fluid levels, grease chassis, inspect brakes, rotate tires. They changed the oil and filter, rotated 2 tires l asked for, they did not check any fluid levels, only washer fluid, Rear axle plug was not pulled, driveshaft, front suspension not greased. Did not say anything about the brakes until l asked. Good price for oil change, but do everything you say. Thanks

Had an appointment at X time, and asked how long it would take, and the answer was about 1 hour. I watched my vehicle waiting to be taken for service, it took 1 hour to be brought in, and another 40m for the oil change to be completed. Why am I even scheduling an appointment if the service will not start at the time of the appointment?But the price is rly nice.

I personally recommend this location as a female customer. The manager, Aaron and his team always take good care of me and I trust them to not sell me something I do not need or over-charge me. Thanks!

When I have a problem with either of my vehicles, this is place I go. The manager, Aaron, has always been dependable to quickly diagnose and fix a problem. I have always appreciated how he and the staff will take the time to explain to me what is wrong and even show me the defective part if I wish to see it. My wife’s Toyota RAV4 started showing a check engine light with trac light also on. We set an appointment with Sun Auto (as usual) to have it checked. Arron at the front desk said he would do a diagnostic test to make sure what was wrong. They had the vehicle for 5 hours and did not complete the diagnostic. The next morning Sun Auto contacted us and said it was a vacuum canister that needed replacement. Sun Auto said the cost would be $1,300 to replace. I said I would need to get back with them after I check the price. Arron said the replacement canister part was $1,000.00 by itself. I told him I would get back with him.I researched the vacuum canister they said they would be using (for $1,000.00) and found it at auto part stores around us for under $500.00.I called Pep Boys and their tech said was they would complete the job for $904.00. I called Sun Auto back and said I would be picking up the vehicle and they immediately asked to let them re-evaluate their quote. After holding for 5 minutes they came down to just under $1,000.00. I said I was going to pick up the vehicle and go to Pep Boys when they said the diagnostic charge would be $115.00 when I picked it up. There was no suggestion of any diagnostic charge when we dropped off the vehicle, nor did we sign for that charge. We decided to alleviate our stress and have Sun Auto complete the repair.I have been using Sun Auto for years and have recommended them to family and friends. I guess loyalty means nothing to Sun Auto.

I went into Sun Auto Service for a few questions about my vehicle and Anthony helped me. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. I wasnt able to get any of the work done but I am so glad Anthony was there to put my mind at ease. I will definitely be back to see him!

My brother was running out of ideas as to why his 1997 Chevy truck would not run. I suggested my auto mechanics at Sun Auto. They had his truck towed to the shop and went right to work. Anthony and his crew worked tirelessly on the vehicle until they got it right. He kept in contact with my brother and I at all the steps along the way even letting us know that there was still an issue that had them stumped and he would need to consult with his master technician. Bottom line, I would recommend Anthony, Wes and the Sun Auto crew at the Washington Ave location any time. They did not stop until the repair was done right and in a very timely manner.

I have been using Sun Auto, Washington Ave., Las Vegas, for almost 5 years -- three different cars that are all 10+ years old. I have found the prices to be fair and the service excellent. Before settling on Sun Auto I tried 5 other Las Vegas shops (since 2003). It is the mechanics at this location that I have been most impressed with, especially Jorge, the master mechanic. Jorge has a “The Art of Motorcycle Maintenance” approach to cars. The Managers have been enjoyable also, although turnover occurs in this position. I recommend Sun Auto on Washington to relatives, friends, and you.

Aaron is the best. Finally found an honest repair shop. Dealer told us we needed a rear main seal done ($1300 job), brought it to Sun Auto bc they quoted way less. They took a look and before working on it found out that it wasn’t needed and was a much cheaper and easier repair! They could have easily done the job and had us pay the larger bill but instead were super honest and showed integrity. Highly recommend this auto shop for anyone who is sick of being lied to by crooked mechanics!

Took my 78 van into firestone and the guys told me my radiator cracked and needed a new one. Took it to sun auto and the guys said they couldnt find a crack anywhere and flushed my coolant and sent me on my way. Really awesome, honest mechanics here. Thanks guys!

Great guys who do a great job.

I dont like to write bad review, and this is my first time ever writing a bad review on anything because I felt like I had to. After reading about all the great experiences people had with this place, I called to have diesel fuel removed out of my cars gas tank. I talked to two different people on the phone on two separate occasions and they both said around $400 to $430. But when I took my car there, they tried to charge me $1,834 like are you kidding me? They were also saying that there were some other stuff that I should get fixed that WERE NOT EVEN INCLUDED IN THE PRICE. If they were included it wouldve probably brought me to $3,000 who knows. ANYWAYS I HAD MY CAR TOWED TO A DIFFERENT PLACE AND GOT THE PROBLEM FIXED ON THAT SAME DAY FOR $330 AND YES MY CAR IS STILL WORKING PERFECTLY FINE. But Im just saying there is a huge difference between $330 and $1,834 this place is a RIP-OFF. Look around and call many different mechanics before going to one place.

Weren’t very friendly. Attempted to set an appointment for same day or next day due to work schedule. They sent me an appointment for a day I hadn’t requested which was more than 48 hrs away yet in their site it states they can’t schedule appointments more than 48 hrs in advance.

Ive never had a mechanic treat me as well as this team! Anthony and the guys are always trying to help, inform and repair anything you need as quickly as possible! Or they work with enterprise to get you a car quickly!!

I trust them to care for my current car much more than I would trust the quality of a new car.

Fast and friendly service, they know my fiancée and I on a first name basis, and they have even done my oil changes for free because I either waited longer than usual or I had other work done. They personally show you whats wrong with your car, so you can be sure they arent pulling your leg and making you spend more money than necessary! This is the only honest and efficient car shop Ive been able to find in Las Vegas.

The only place I like to take my car. They have the best customer service and deal on premium due synthetic oil changes.

Never believe their coupons, you will receive a $50 off of a certain service without explaining how much was the service before the discount, once you get there the price will be automatically added to deduct the coupon offer you have received. It’s just too hard now a days to find someone to trust to work in your car. How’s it’s possible to service each tire brake for $185??!! Shop around and check Facebook search places it’s just ridiculous to spend $800 on vehicle brakes. I have done them at a place called Auto Xperts for $100 per side with a OEM equivalent product installed. All what you can hear is that the others use bad part and they are the only one use the best part.
