The good thing is that they diagnose any problems that your car might be having the bad things is that they diagnose it and you hear how much it cost. The alignment went wonderful but I found out there is my work to be done. Great customer service!

Ive used Precision Tune for several years without issue, but Im now taking my business elsewhere.I recently called for a quote to replace the water pump on my truck. This is a simple task that calls for at most a couple hours labor and a $100 part. I was told over the phone that they could not provide me a quote - that they needed to have me come in for a cooling system check that will cost $62 that consists of a visual inspection and a pressure test. If you know anything about cars you know that with a leaky water pump, this will tell you that you need to replace your water pump.I understand that other things may need to be addressed and that costs of an over the phone quote are not always going to be indicative of the final cost for a full repair. But, I want to get an idea of where to start.When I pressed for a base cost, they asked me what I thought it should cost. While this is a stupid question to ask a customer, I obliged, $375, maybe more if you find the hoses or thermostat needs replacement.The reply I got stunned me. He said, I dont think well be a good fit then, with a chuckle. I was literally told - after a polite conversation - that my business wasnt welcome there... possibly because I knew too much.I did call another shop immediately afterward and received a quote for under $300. That place will be receiving my business as well as the brake job, the thermostat, and possibly a few other services. Precision Tune lost easily $1000 in work just this week - and all future work as well.tldr; They want me to bring my truck to them and charge me a diagnostic fee to tell me what I told them over the phone before they tell me the price to fix it. And then told me that I was not a good fit for their company.When a company does this, its generally used as a way to upsell other unneeded services. This behavior makes me think that they dont want the smart customers, they want the dumb ones thatll empty their wallets on muffler bearings and blinker fluid flushes.

My car runs great again and my a/c works!! I always get treated nicely when I bring my car in. I will continue to visit Precision Tune for future car needs. Customer service is great, fast service and not pushy at all. I have always been given 2 or 3 options to choose from when it comes to the pricing. Carlos does a good job explaining what the problem is and what options are available to fix the problem. You get to choose what option is best for your budget. I like that.

These guys do amazing work and best prices in town, took my truck for an alignment and they did it in 35 minutes and were cheaper than anyone else

I had a great experience there. The staff is incredibly friendly, skilled and helpful. They are also not pushy. I needed new tires due to my alignment being off and got a price on tires but decided to check around. There was no frantic push in saying why I should get tires from them or trying to force service on me. After checking around the tires were actually a decent deal for some good tires (I was going to pay more at the tire shops I checked in on for a worse tire). I loved how they were not pushy salesmen but are just very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this place!

I purchased a groupon for AC evacuate, vacuum test and recharge for $30 instead of $90 regular price. When I showed up the guy told me it would cost $300. I asked why so much more than the Groupon, he told me to read the fine print and only 1lbs is included. If I want my AC to work it needs to be filled to capacity and that’s $300. Take it or leave it he said. I have no clue how they got so many good reviews.

Im 100% sure that the positive reviews on this are from people that work there or friends of the owner..I came in today and the guy who works the counter was very unprofessional and has a smart mouth.. extremely unprofessional environment.. Im not one of those people that usually complains and have never left a negative review on anyone.. but that kids needs to be dealt with by upper management or the owner he should not have a customer service job maybe back of the house mopping or something.

Would not recommend this place to anyone. Went to get a alignment and they did a horrible job and left my steering wheel driving crooked and said that was normal. That is the whole point of an alignment! They would not refund my money and now I had to get another alignment at the Good Guys Automotive. There are way better places than this dump. Find another mechanic, youre better off.

Everyone is really friendly. They are very knowledgeable and I feel comfortable and trust them. This visit, I had a good tune up with just a couple of small issues I need to fix. My main concern was the money for all of it, but asked them to help me prioritize so I could fix one at a time. They were really honest and made me feel comfortable when I left. I came in for an Ac recharge, thought I might as well get an oil change. While Im waiting Im told I need to come out to see the problem with my car... PROBLEM??? I didnt have a problem before I got here... according to Carlos, my oil plug was really loose when I got here and now they cant put the oil plug bag in because its broken... ummmm I have NEVER had an issue with my oil plug, after speaking to other professionals.. if I would have had a loose oil plug, I would have been dripping oil. There is absolutely no sign of an oil leak. On top of it I JUST replaced my motor mounts, and even the mechanic said there was no sign of a loose oil plug or leak. I was offered an ATTEMPT NO GUARANTEE to fix it at a price of $100 and quoted $404 to replace the oil pan THAT THEY BROKE. Im currently getter my my car towed and as far away from this place as I can, and I will be contacting the better business bureau. They refuse to take any responsibility for what they did...

I had recently moved to Las Vegas when my car overheated. As a young female driving a very old car with lots of quirks, I am always apprehensive about finding trustworthy and reliable mechanics. I looked around and found Precision Tune Auto Care. I had my car towed there and the mechanics were able to quickly diagnose the problem and give me a very reasonable price estimate. Additionally, they took my busy schedule into consideration and were able to get the work done in one day. I felt like they were very upfront and honest individuals who gave it to me straight.I really appreciate their consideration of my time as well. My car was back on the road that day. In my past, mechanics have tried to take advantage of me by giving me a list of things that are possibly wrong with my car and that they recommend replacing or fixing (at an additional overpriced expense of course). I did not get this treatment from Precision Tune. Auto Care. Like I said before, I drive a very old car with lots of quirks. They understood that I was just trying to keep my car on the road and addressed the problem at hand effectively fixing the issue. Overall, I felt very comfortable with the knowledge of the staff, service and price.Recently, I had another, more serious problem with my car. I immediately took it back to Precision Tune Auto Care. Once again, the knowledgeable staff was able to quickly and efficiently diagnose the underlying issue. And once again they gave me a very reasonable price. When I say very reasonable, I mean very reasonable! I did my research by looking up parts pricing, talking with my mechanic back home, and obtaining quotes from other shops around town which would have charged me significantly more for the same services. Again, they also took my time constraints and need for a vehicle into consideration and repaired the problem during one of their busiest days of the week.I truly feel that the staff at Precision Tune Auto Care, especially Carlos who I assume is the owner, are very considerate and sincerely invested in the best interest of their customers by providing superior service at extremely reasonable cost. I suspect that most of their business is probably regular maintenance servicing but I highly recommend them for more serious car repairs as well. They had the parts needed available on site for my repairs and I did not have to leave my car there while waiting for necessary parts to be ordered and delivered. Plus the two major repairs together cost me less than $600!!! I have been in many places across the county and dealt with many mechanics. Not often do I feel the urge to write a review (about anything, let alone a car shop). However, with the amazing customer service, great prices, quick turn around time, and overall great vibe I received from the staff at Precision Tune Auto Care; I felt compelled and very confident in writing a review to share my positive experience with any one else in need of car repair. I will continue to go to them for all my service needs during my time in Vegas and have recommended their services to all my friends in the area. Your front desk service didnt even deserve one star, but theres no choice for zero star. First time at this location, and for sure the last. The rudest service I have ever experienced in 22 yrs in this city. No point on wasting my time going over the details, just plain rude, no customer service skills, no apologies, nothing, zero appreciation for a piece of business.

Ive gotten my oil changed here twice. It always is super fast, and the staff is very friendly. They show you what your fluids look like along with what brand new ones to show you if you should have anything changed. I really appreciate that because I feel like every time I get my oil changed someplace they tell me 20 other things to be done. Here I feel they are very honest. The price is always good too! Highly recommend.

There aren’t any mechanics there. Just people who quote prices, charge triple and return to you a worse car. Carlos told me every time they fix my car something will be wrong. HE TOLD ME THAT OUT OF HIS OWN MOUTH. The “manger”. If everyone in there put the automotive knowledge together. They still couldn’t pump gas.

Carlos was very nice and tactful when working with him. He has a professional demeanor and also fare. Had a few things handled at this auto shop and all I can say is this is the best shop. When the vehicle was being worked on I had a few questions and Carlos had the mechanic come in to help with my many questions. They both took me into the shop to show me whats goin on. One no hidden doors with these guys, they are up front and honest. Two, when (I think his name is Tyson) was showing me whats wrong they also showed me why the problem came about. Thats huge!!! Normally shops just find the issue and not cause. But these guys did. Not only are they good at what they do, the inside of the garage was nice and clean, most others are nasty and oily. It looked almost like a little dealership garage. There was two other members of their team that I couldnt get the names of, but they seemed to work well all together helping and communicating with each other. Happily said I will return more than because of the great workmanship but their professionalism and knowledge.

Not a bad place to take your car. Went in for an alignment using a Groupon and was out with in a hour. The staff were highly efficient and knowledgeable when it comes to their profession.

Do not come here for headlight restoration. I came here expecting my headlight to be restored but it was still foggy. I was even told youd have to take it to a real headlight restoration place to get it to look new. They were nice people and they probably do good mechanical work, so I will not give 1 star. Just dont come here for headlight restoration.

I have a 9 year old car. One headlight lens was replaced, before, due to a minor accident. Another vehicle backed into my right headlight - their insurance replaced the right one. The left one was all yellow and faded. I had attempted using products sold on Amazon - none worked; probably made it worse. Nevertheless, I thought Id try the service here. Very glad i did! It looks soooo much better now. Not 100% like new, but; MUCH better.

Parts are parts- but service and trust in whom you take care of your car is important. My Family and I have four older cars that each of us take to Precision Tune- our relationship with the main man, Carlos, is a friendly and trusted one. The Staff are some of the best mechanics around.

This place sucks, they charged me 600$ to fix my radiator and the car turned out worse. Then they said its going to be 1,000$ or more to fix my engine and it ran fine until I brought my car there. Wouldnt recommend it.

I received great service. I was asked detailed questions from the mechanic in order to know what was the problem I was experiencing, so he could pay attention to it. I even paid less than what I was quoted. I would recommend this place to friends and family. Carlos is the store manager and he takes care of you.

Went in today for a oil change and two step fuel injection service. Carlos was very nice and knowledgeable. The waiting area had seats that were more comfortable than any other shop Ive been to. They did a good job, noticed an immediate difference in performance.

My husband and I have been in several times over the years. Carlos has always done right by us. he now has both my daughters business and my parents business. I took my car in to have the brakes done. I was prepared to spend the money on a new set of brakes. the brakes were so loud like metal on metal. I was surprised to find out that there was just some dirt in the brakes, we live in a rural area with a lot of dirt. Carlos just blew the dirt out and it didnt cost my anything. he could of easily done a brake job that I didnt need, but he didnt rip me off. its always nice to go into a business and they know your name and everything about your car and they know my needs. Took my car in to have them check the A.C. they had installedI was told I needed to leave them the car for 2 days so they could check it Not repair it. When I told Carlos the manager that was my only transportation to take my wife to work and to go to work myself. HE TOLD ME TO UBER WHERE I NEEDED TO TO WHILE THE CAR WAS THERE. How long after they checked it were they going to take to replace the bad compressor they installed. NOT HAPPY THEY GET A MINUS 5 STAR RATING. CALLED THE CORPERATE OFFICE. STILL NO CALL BACK

Beware, these guys are way over priced and not so sure if they jacked up the price because it was towed there or because they were dealing with a woman before I got involved. 432.00 for a starter when anyone else (besides a dealer) can do it for 289.00. When asked how many hours labor, they said 2.0 hours. When I asked from what source did they get the labor hours, they said All Data.I called my regular mechanic (Auto Specialists, for over 20 years) and asked what the All Data labor hours said, I was told 1.4 hours. I also confirmed this doing a search on line. When I told the service writer that the All Data quote was 1.4 hours, I was then told it is a guide and some BS about special circumstances. He did lower the price 75.00 on the starter, but it was still way over priced.Do your research people. I spent a lot of time in the auto repair business and if it was not towed there by my towing insurance, I would of pulled the job.All I ask from a repair shop is a competent mechanic at a fair price. Needless to say I wont be back.

I purchased a Groupon for an oil change (Full Synthetic). The package was originally listed as a $90 package with a 45% discount. I thought hey, this sounds like a great deal, so I bought the package for my daughter for her new car that I bought her. I even called the location to let them know that Im making a reservation to have my daughter bring the car in and talked to an employee there who said everything will be fine, but may be an upcharge of only $20 bucks for an oil filter. I said lets do it.My daughter arrives on the day of the appointment to only be disappointed that they tried to upsell her an oil change that costed $136 bucks. She was like, dad, I showed them the groupon and they tried to add extra fees for the oil and and the oil filter, so she left. I called the location and asked why they were up-charging her after we had just agreed on the groupon and possible charge on the filter. The employee stated that he had to upgrade the cost of the oil $25 bucks, and add the filter $25 more. I said wait a minute, you never mentioned anything about upcharging on the oil, and furthermore, we had agreed to $20 over the phone. He says, thats what the company charges. I stated, then you should have indicated this over the phone, even though I had told him the year, make and model of the vehicle.To me, this is a form of bait and switch. I will never trust this company. If you want to be up-charged and lied to, Id bring your vehicle here. Good luck with your wallet.

STAY AWAY, FAR AWAY!!!! THEY ARE RIPOFFS!!!! I went there to get a window motor fixed and they said the first motor they got was bad and they got a new one. Then, I was charged labor for them installing two motors. Three days later the window would not work and I told Carlos and he told me there is a $89.00 service fee. I said, don’t you have a warranty on your work. He told me NO! I went to Pep Boys and found that there was just a loose wire. He just wanted more money for not fixing it right the first time. Carlos Rosas is a hustler and con artist!

The waiting room is small and not too comfortable but thats not what you are here for anyway. Expensive but then, nowadays a good mechanic usually is. They completed the work in a reasonable amount of time. I would go back for something I cant do in my garage.

Carlos Rosas and all his mechanics are extremely honest. I have been going to this Precision Tune for years now. I have a late model Ford that Carlos and his crew have kept running for years.

This place stinks! I went there using a Groupon coupon to get a good deal, but this trip ended costing me more than it was worth! While removing my right hubcap, one of the mechanics broke my right hubcap. When I told the manager he needed to pay for it, he refused! He was rude and offered no remedy. I emailed corporate headquarters with no result. I will NEVER go there again!

My car steering wheel was out of the center for the right side, so I let them know about it, they did the alignment and told me that the car has bad tie rod,when I drove back home, the steering wheel was out of the center for the left side, I called them and tell the problem now is different than before if they can adjust it, Carlos said he couldnt fix that because the tie rod.Now I just left aa autocare which fix the problem for free and in 10 minutes, so dont waste your time and money there . One advice for your business, first check the problem and see if you can solve, sometimes it was just a bad adjustment.

Went in to get my brakes done. $178 job turned into $450. Then the fast-talking sales guy tried to sell me on another $600 worth of work. Now my alignment is messed up. Truck pulls to the right and shakes on the freeway. It didnt do that before I brought it in. I wont go there again.Oh yeah, when I picked the car up it had 1 tire on it from another car! They didnt even notice until I pointed it out to them.

This place is a joke. Spent nearly 1000 dollars on a (overpriced) break job in which they, supposedly topped off all my fluids and did diagnostics. The next day my radiator is leaking, I have NO fluids and my car was overheating. I have since taken my car to a real mechanic and they told me that my radiator was either blatantly sabotaged, or that it was EXTREMELY careless on the mechanics part. Especially for failing to let me know. When I called the shop, the man I spoke with(Carlos) was quite rude and accusatory, insisting that I was mistaken. I am appalled and would NEVER recommend this dump to anyone.
