My air conditioning went out on the trip from Salt Lake to Vegas. I called H-tech auto and set up an appointment for the next day to get a diagnosis. Everyone I dealt with was very polite and professional. The mechanic Pete showed me the issues with my CRV and my options. They are reasonably priced. Pete was very informative and communicated through the whole process they had to order a part and we picked up our vehicle the next day. Good as new.I highly recommend.

Total disappointment. Gave me the run around for a week that they would pick up my car and never did. When I called them they had no idea what i was talking about. A whole week of waiting especially because i was recommended. what an unprofessional establishment .

Super friendly and very fair repair cost!!! Definitely would take my car back to this place for any service. Joedan, Bernard and Pete helped me get my car back running within two days!!!! My car needed a new clutch and new brake pads for the front and rear. Honda West wanted me to pay $2,881 just for clutch/flywheel and another $450 for the front and rear brake pads. H-Tech Auto charge me all in all including the front and rear brake pads for $1,950. Will definitely take my car to this place for any service in the future. The work done to my car also included 1 year warranty. In the event anything goes wrong for the work they have done, i’ll cost me $0 for parts and labor. Thanks again!!!

If anyone asks if I know a good mechanic, I can now say Absolutely I do!I looked online for a place to take my car, and chose this place based on reviews. The check engine light was on and it was trying to stall at red lights. I had to drop it off, they called the next day, explained the problem (which I already knew so I knew he was being honest), and quoted me the price. I said fix it. One day goes by, he calls, says he noticed I needed a smog, hed smog it for me, he wanted to make sure itd pass. Great! Next day, I get a call, its ready..I go to pick up the car, its $70 cheaper than the quoted price. He explains everything to me, with photos, hands me a folder to keep them and all the other paperwork. As Im driving, I noticed the brakes feel different. I call, he had adjusted them ... for no charge! I hope I never have to go anywhere else. Thanks Pete!

READ THIS.So these employees really decided to take the car on a test drive and decided to STOP FOR FAST FOOD. Making the car smell absolutely disgusting. The car wasn’t even there when we got there. I was nauseous all the way home. It’s literally the most unprofessional thing I’ve seen.

Timing belt, water pump, spark plugs, seals changed in one day. They use Original Honda Parts only. They did a great job and beat dealer prices by a couple $100 .

I had a great experience at the H-Tech shop today. I had driven from Montana, and I had hit a big rock in the mountains on the way down here. My car was pretty messed up when I got here but the but the guys gave me a very transparent assessment of the damage and quickly fixed the car. They also let me know about a couple less urgent needs that I was able to put off for a later date. I knew they cared when I picked it up and one of the guys stood in the parking lot for ten minutes chatting and showed me the ruined parts theyd replaced and went over the car like it was a cared-for patient. Really great guys.

This was my 4th trip in a couple years to H-Tech. I am 67 years old and have been looking for an honest,reputable and economical car repair shop for about 50 of those 67 years. Pete and Bernardo always treat us like family and it is a [pleasure seeing them each time. Do yourself a big favor and give them a shot at your business. Youll be happy you did!

I couldn’t have asked for a smoother and less stressful experience. I’ve brought two cars to this shop for diagnostics and the mechanics here were honest and direct with me. They talked with me about prices and the best options for my specific situation, even outside resources (ie dealerships, other shops, etc) Great place, definitely recommend to anyone and everyone with car problems.

Phenomenal extremely honest auto repair shop. I highly recommend this place. Ive been here twice for repair. Prepared to pay anything both times. Mechanic 1st time found easy and inexpensive fix. 2nd time came for starter. It was just battery. Fast and great service.

I take my Honda to H-Tech Auto for routine maintenance and they always do a great job. I had just recently had my car serviced by them when I had to take it back in after I blew a tire and it pulled out the wiring to a blinker and ripped the inner rubber fender out as well. They took a look at it and found a spare plug for the wiring. They fixed the blinker and put the rubber fender back on for no charge. 😊

This is a great shop and very honest shop to get your car fixed, maintenanced or inspected. I would recommend this shop to any friends or family or tourist.

My ONLY regret is that I didnt find H Tech sooner. I have a 98 Civic that I have taken all over the valley for the last 8 years since the mechanic I was working with retired. These guys have no hidden agenda. Their honesty is quite refreshing. I walked out knowing what I was spending before any work was done - and the total was a bit less than the estimate. I cannot recommend H Tech strongly enough. You will not be sorry with the service you receive. H Tech Rocks!!!

I have been a customer of H Tech for several years and every time I have had either of my cars serviced or repaired I have been treated professionally, courteously, and in a very timely manner. Pete and his staff always seem to go out of thiei way to help in any way possible, including scheduling. The are very fair and extremely reasonable in terms of pricing. I now will only use H Tech for both of my vehicles.

I can’t speak highly enough about the service and the pricing of H-Tech! They really went above and beyond to get my 2004 Honda Civic ready for a road trip to give to my daughter. They even fixed a few other small items that were bothering me, but not that important. I’m really appreciative to them for everything. And the price was less than what I expected for what they did. Pete took good care of my car. He explained everything in such a professional manner. The price was very reasonable. Plus he fixed it in such a short period of time. Left it better than it was so it could pass the smog. Love this place I will be coming back. He also helped us get 2 new keys since the one we had was broken and kept coming apart. Very nice man he cared about my kids being safe. I would definitely recommend him to anyone. He knows what he is doing unlike other places. Has the experience and truly shows he loves what he does.

Good service, courteous employees. Just be careful to tell them everything that your vehicle needs, because they don’t automatically look beyond what’s immediately needed in order to suggest other things that might need to be done soon.

I had a persistent problem with my Honda Accord acting like it was flooded, when it wasnt. This would happen after being in stop-and-go traffic. Pete didnt see an obvious problem but thought the condenser fan motor needed replacement and mentioned that when its sensor goes bad the car will receive wrong info that more gas is not needed at ignition. This fixed my problem. Then I looked back at my service record from an earlier mechanic years ago when I had the same problem. He replaced the condenser fan assembly as a part of regular maintenance, and was surprised when I later reported to him that my flooding problem was gone. That earlier mechanic scoffed when I surmised that fixing the problem was somehow connected to his replacement of the condenser assembly:Nah! he said,That wouldnt have anything to do with it! Maybe its because I replaced your battery cable! So: both mechanics did the right thing. But only one-Pete-truly understood cause and effect. I have never read his solution on Internet forums, which tells me that Pete knows more than even the best of those mechanics.

6 out of 5 stars! These guys are truly experts at Honda & Acura and love fixing cars & doing it right.I brought my Fit in on a road trip with an intermittent problem starting the car. Of course, I couldnt reproduce the problem when I dropped the car off, but I needed to get the problem fixed before leaving Las Vegas, so I told them to just replace the starter if they couldnt find the problem.After spending 2 days trying to reproduce the problem and testing every component that could cause the issue I described, Pete couldnt find any part that was failing, and recommended that I shouldnt replace the starter, because it probably wouldnt solve the problem.I decided to pick up the car and hope the problem wouldnt happen again. Despite spending 2 days diagnosing my problem, they told me no charge because they couldnt fix it.Later in the day, when I was ready to leave town, the problem randomly started happening again! I brought my car back to the shop, where Pete was eager to fix my car now that they were able to reproduce the problem. They instantly started isolating the problem, and soon identified a loose connection in my main wiring harness. They said it would take all day to replace the harness since it runs deep inside the car. However, they were able to identify that just the ground to my ignition was loose, and they could just run a new ground instead. That fixed my problem in a fraction of the time and a fraction of the cost. What peace of mind to finally have this issue fixed without spending much to solve it! The guys at HTech are hard working geniuses, and Im lucky to have found them to work on my car!

This needle in the haystack just gave me a great price on an A/C compressor job.They worked the market to find me a good deal on the new compressor, got the job done in a timely manner, and even topped it off with a free carwash.Their labor estimate is a little higher than other shops, but I would call that realism, considering any other shop you go to gives you their time estimate, and it ends up taking twice as long as they estimated.All in all, a great experience. I recommend H-Tech Auto.

I brought my Honda to this shop because of the 5 star reviews. My car was making a rattling sound when the AC was on and they said it was my AC compressor so they replaced it and cost me $$$. I drove home and still made that rattling sound. I came back the following week and they checked it and they said it was my alternator. They changed my alternator and cost me $$$ and it was still rattling. They looked at it again and they said its my belt tensioner so they replaced it cost me another $$$. After a week the rattling sound came back. I called them so I could return my car and they said theyre booked for that week. After a week I called them for 5 days straight to schedule an appointment but they didnt answer my call (they have a caller ID). So, I went to the shop and they said theyre booked and they dont know when they can schedule my car to fix the problem. After spending over $2000, now they dont want to fix my car. These reviews are fake its probably their friends and relatives making these reviews. Beware. Dont waste your time and money. This shop is a rip off shop.

I called h-tech because a tow truck driver told me Pete is honest and reliable, unfortunately I was already on my way to AutoNation Honda East. After I received a diagnosis from Honda, I called Pete to see if he could perform the work instead of Honda. Pete told me the diagnosis was really inconclusive and more testing would have to be done. Pete really took the time to explain my problem and realize that Honda was not fully diagnosing my car, and more tests woul be have to be performed. With that information I went back to Honda to perform the extra tests and came up to a completely different scenario, and saved myself $1600.00!!! Pete is a stand up guy, and would not hesitate taking my car to him. Unfortunately, Im not from this area, and ended up having to tow my vehicle home. I felt Pete really wanted help and was genuine. Pete is certified from Honda and if you have trouble with your car, forget the Honda dealer and go straight to Pete, you will not be led wrong.

Finally, a company that exudes honesty, integrity and the gold standard in customer service. Every experience I have had with H-Tech has been above satisfaction, and have never left there with a feeling of buyers remorse. Mechanics like these are a rare find. They are that diamond a a pile of coal. Thank you so much, H-Tech for giving me peace of mind whenever I start my ignition.
