I live in Western Colorado and was having a difficult time finding the gun I wanted. I looked up guns store in Denver and stumbled upon Ark Tactical which had stellar reviews. I called them and Noah the owner was absolutely amazing. They were very helpful in getting me what I needed as I am in law enforcement. Not only did they find the gun that was perfect for me but they held it for me until I could make the trip to Denver. There is a lot I could say about how great Ark Tactical is. Clean, safe, organized environment. Wide variety of items for all shooters. There’s always firearms in stock and fairly priced. But the thing I love most about Ark is the staff! It’s what sets them miles ahead of the others. Extremely knowledgeable people. And friendly too. That matters most to me when I’m shopping for guns and accessories.They’ve always made me feel like they’re pleased to help me out. That’s superb service that will keep me coming back!

269.99 for a brace that I can buy straight from the manf.for 159.99? Quite the markup! No price matching. Also found ammo for 3 bucks a box at Murdochs, couple days later, sold out. Guess whats arks had? Same ammo. For 10 dollars a box. Pretty cool staff tho. Just pricing is outrageously over priced.

We swung by Ark the other day on the strength of its reviews (and out of a little desperation, given the inventory issues most shops are understandably experiencing these days). We expected a run-of-the-mill gun shop with average selection and inventory. Color us pleased to report that we were blown away on all fronts- inventory, selection, and helpfulness and professionalism. The latter deserves a few more words:We were already gun enthusiasts but were looking to expand to a new platform, and made clear that we were newbies in that regard when we arrived. Even though the store was absolutely packed, nevertheless the staff were extremely attentive and their resident expert on the AR platform took all the time needed to introduce us to the platform, explain the nuts and bolts, identify what might suit our experience level and price point best, etc etc. Zero pressure to buy. It was a really great and very informative experience.So yeah, that they have good selection is a mark in their favor, but the customer service really put it over the top. We left very happy and will definitely be back in future. Thank you!

This used to be my shop that I went to all the time, did numerous transfers at least 25 and bought at least 7 or 8 guns from them along with always grabbing an accessory of some kind every time I was in. I was always greeted by name when walking in because of the frequency I was there and the money I always spent and always enjoyed my experience. I have been away for awhile due to some life changes and I went in this weekend to do a transfer with a good buddy after talking up Ark to him. We walked in and upon not seeing a face I knew the greeting I got was what are you here for I told them we wanted to do a transfer and he rudely asked me if we had an appointment and I looked around to 2 people in the store with 5 employees standing around doing nothing at all. I asked if an old employee was there and was told he doesnt work there anymore. I laughed and said Ill take my business elsewhere. Called Triple J Amory and they said they could have us in and out in about 3 minutes. Now this is a gun shop with customer service and an actual range. Do yourself a favor and avoid the terribly high prices and terribly low service of Ark and go to JJJ.

Ive had nothing but great experience at Noahs shop. I purchase all of my firearms, ammo and magazines from them all the time. He has the best knowledgeable & customer service oriented team. Best store in colorado with great prices!

This really is the only shop to go to. Always well stocked even in these crazy times. While arms are hard to find at most places thats not the case at Ark. Very educated and well prepared staff. If you are a beginner or a seasoned pro this shop know what you need.

Holy cow! This shop was EASILY the most helpful one Ive come across. As someone that has never owned a firearm, Ive always been intimidated by certain stores I wont name in CO. Several questions I had at these unnamed shops produced a scoff more often that not from the clerk helping me. Not here, I was asking every question I could think of and Shaun( or Sean, sorry!) and Ben were beyond helpful. They gave me a fantastic deal on a rifle, and made me feel comfortable in the store. In this day and age, Its ESSENTIAL to practice your unalienable rights as per the Constitution. So glad I came here, and cant wait to pick up my rifle. Thanks again!!

AMAZING!!! I cant say enough about this shop. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about all their products and they answered all my questions without making me feel dumb! I got my gun Cerakoted in pink and they were even able to match the color to my favorite nail polish! (the custom color was a little extra but A LOT worth it!!!) Highly recommend for novice and experienced gun owners, men and women!!

Best gun store in Colorado! Knowledge, selection, customer service and prices are by far the best. Too many stores are price gouging because of the pandemic but not Ark Tactical. Their selection of firearms blows away all the other stores in town right now and they have stuff on sale prices too! You would be foolish to shop anywhere else. And the owner seems like a really good guy. Whether its your first or 100th firearm Ark Tactical is the only place to go in Colorado!

Super knowledgeable, patient, and just generally kind experiences always. Every person I’ve worked with at Ark always took the time to make sure all my questions were answered and never in a way that makes you regret asking. I am more than pleased with every purchase so far and look forward to many more.

We came into this Gun store to get 5.56 Ammo specifically. So When paying for our items at the counter, we asked for 5.56 ammo. The man at the counter told us yeah we have that no problem. When we walked out and got the receipt out of the bag we noticed it said 223 Ammo. We immediately went back into the store and was told they were not going to refund us our money because our gun can shoot that ammo (despite our manual saying only to shoot 5.56 due to the barrel). When informing him we were just going by our manual and that we didn’t ask for this ammo, he proceeded to say that it can shoot it and that he wasn’t going to do store credit or a refund. Even though I may not be as knowledgeable with guns as someone who works at a gun store, I just wanted to go by what my manual says, as I’m sure it says it for a reason.

This is one of the most well stocked shops of its kind in the entire metro area. Their customer service goes well above and beyond. They are my number one destination/resource. Every member of the team is extremely knowledgeable with significant experience, some may have been former operators.

I understand that prices have gone up, but dont lie to me. I bought a sig rifle for $1100 and this gun was going for $800 six months ago. They swear they are not price gauging, telling me that they paid over $1000 for it themselves and that thier markups will never change. I wanted it and since I knew the rifle was hard to come by I bought it. But after the fact I called sig directly and they told me the MSRP is $949. Its one thing to be honest about paying a premium, its another to lie to a customer to his face. Im not upset about the money, Im upset that they are dishonest people. I will not go back here. Spend your extra $150 wisely because you will never see another dollar from me.

Carry garbage airsoft parts and advertise them as real gunparts. Hike up prices on things that cost not nearly as much as at places like Triple J or even Damage factory.

Great place, staff were helpful and knowledgeable, good selection of parts you would normally only find online. Used Ark for a gun transfer and it couldn’t have been easier. I believe I only paid around $20 for the transfer and CBI fees.

As the personal representative for my brothers estate, I was impressed with the way Noah and his team went above and beyond by handling a large number of private sales and transfers for me, services other gun shops were not willing to provide. Being from out of state and knowing nothing about gun laws, I felt overwhelmed until he made the process easy and painless for me during a difficult time. Everyone involved with the purchases was impressed with the friendly and professional staff and said they would be back.

Ive been in here several times now and spent a few bucks here and there. Ive done an FFL transfer there, too. I heard about Ark from a friend at work, and when I went in for the first time, I couldnt believe how packed it was! I chatted with Noah for a minute, and he told me they dont advertise-its all word of mouth. I can see why. They have a friendly staff-guys who dont look down on you for asking questions. Their prices are competitive, and while you might pay a couple dollars more than at a big box store, your extra bucks pay for two things: supporting the local economy by supporting a local small business, and having a place close by (for me, anyway!) where I feel comfortable browsing, asking questions, and being able to run down and grab something I need quickly. They offer a great selection-its fun to just go in and find things Ive never seen before.I highly recommend this shop and the folks that work there. I will be back...and back...and back until my wife cuts me off (just kidding-she doesnt mind my hobbies, and I rate her 5/5, too).

Just ordered a firearm through Ark Tactical last week. Unfortunately there was a mix up from the manufacturer and I received a different attachment. I drove around today for hours. In search of the perfect rifle. In reality, it doesnt exist. The perfect gun for me isnt the perfect gun to anyone else. I was frustrated to say the least. Almost as soon as I walked in here I was put to ease. Every other place I went I was pressured in to buying something available on the wall. Noah greeted me and immediately offered me the best resolution possible. Just tell me what you want. Ill build it for you. Its that easy. This will be the only arms store I use as long as I live here. Exceptional customer service, hands down.

These guys are the best! Walking in there is like Cheers - everybody gets a big hey when you walk through the door! Noah and his entire team know guns and it seems like they always have something new to show you. Eclectic selection of long guns and handguns alike, quality knives, lots of optics, and amazing amount of different magazines for almost every gun. Look for frequent sales and bargain bins too.

I came in to see about getting my front sight on my AR-10 changed to a gas block (which I had). I was greeted by a good nature Chocolate Lab when I first walked in, giving it a nice atmosphere. When I asked about the work needed, they really took care of me. They were up front about the pricing and why it could be more or less (depending on any issues incurred). As it turned our, the gas tube didnt want to come out of the front sight, so I had to purchase a new one. They showed me the problem without me having to ask (which is great as its hard to trust people these days, so I could see for myself) and had a new one on hand to install. Their prices were good and their attitudes even better. They were very friendly and fun to talk to. I wont go anywhere else if I can help it. They even gave me a Vortex Catalog so i could check out some scopes. VERY NICE SHOP!!!

I went to four other gun stores today and this was the only one that was actually helpful. I was at another shop where I was the only person in the store and the associates didnt even acknowledge I was there. They simply kept talking to each other about some gun they were looking at. This shop was quite busy when I came in, at least 6-7 other groups of people in there with only two associates and I was greeted within seconds to see if I needed anything. In my experience, this is one of the best shops in the area especially if youre new to shooting. I will definitely be coming back

Everyone at Ark Tactical has been amazing. If youre new to the gun world, this is probably the place you need to go. They will take their time to walk you through everything and answer any question you might have. I dont care where you are in Denver, you need to make the drive to here you wont regret it.

Could not find a better small Gun Shop. Staff is very friendly and helpful. And as a first responder they give a discount in appreciation. But thats not why I go there its because of the staff. Mostly modern weapons and a smattering of consignment. So you might find something military or possibly antique too.

This is my go to shop for new firearms, questions, modifications, and smithing. Ive only purchased one firearm here and got a great deal for paying cash. They have upgraded the trigger and sights for me and it was fast and they showed me how to do it. I will be purchasing all my parts and for my AR build and have them assemble when Ive got the cash on hand. Plus their dog is awesome!

Whether its your first, or your first firearm this year, Ark Tactical is a great place where you can find pretty much everything you may need. They even showed me sheet metal that was coated, bent, hammered, and basically tortured to show the strength of the work their customers can expect.
