I changed locations because the other GM was bought out and no longer had regular employees and did not clean the windows with an oil change. This location has the same people each time and they take great care of my car. Plus last time I was in I asked to pass on wiper blades. The tech was putting the work ticket under one of my blades and found a tear I had forgotten about. Glad they checked because the next week we had a down poor and it was nice to be able to see out my window.

These guys are so fast every time I come for an oil change. There’s always a $5 coupon that gets emailed to you every time you are due for an oil change. They check all the general maintenance on your car to keep it taken care of on a consistent basis and keep your records for you so you know what needs to be taken care of and when. They top off all your fluids free of charge with an oil change. You can even have them wash your car for you for like $15.They don’t push you into maintenance that you weren’t there for, they inform and offer you the service. I’ve never waited more than 20 minutes no matter what time of day or day of the week I go. Love this place

Whoever changed my oil decided to take the surgical and cloth masks I had sitting on my back seat. Nothing else on the seat was taken so Im assuming this was some sort of anti-mask statement. This was a breach of the trust that I placed in your company with my property. It was just plain theft, and it created a situation that could have posed a health risk to my family. I know people feel very strongly about masks, but this was an egregious action taken by a company i placed my trust in.

It’s more expensive than some other line places, but the turn around is always like 20mins. Dudes try and upsell you like every place, but you just say “not this time” and they move on. Free popcorn and beverages while you wait. Dig it.

I took my van into get an oil change. They never drained my oil. I had 10.5 quarts of oil in my van when I left. Its supposed to have 6 quarts of oil in it.. I was also 2.5 quarts low on transmission fluid. So now my transmission is out. I took it in with a high idle...left with a nightmare. All my sensors on my van are filled with oil. They took away my only vehicle. Cant even go to physical therapy so I can learn to walk again. Kicked us while we were down. They did not want to do anything to remedy the situation.

Im so thankful to the staff at Grease Monkey at Lakewood Colorado location. There was a hum coming from my cabin heater. They had previously checked the cabin filter and was ready to be changed. When I took it back, because of the hum, they found a leaf that fell into the fan. They didnt have to look that far but they did and they solved the problem. I hope they liked the pizza I brought for lunch because I certainly appreciate a business that goes the extra mile.

Im contract Courier w 2million miles etc.. so I always just get my oil changed here and there or everywhere but will be coming here permanently.. basically just charge me ten bucks to top off my old manual transmission fluid and showed me where my leak was and advised not to waste the money on changing the fluid... Until seal is fixed ! This place has won me as a customer forever thank you.!!!! . Id rather pay a extra 15 bucks per oil change for a place thats actually cares. This grease monkey cares.. Ive never been that big of grease monkey fan.. but today Im a fanatic mainly cuz of Lou !!!!! a tech who cared !

A light on my dash was indicating that I had a low tire pressure in one of my tires. I couldnt tell which one although I suspected the back right as it looked a little low. I pulled into Grease Monkey and asked them to check the air pressure in my tires. The tech did and said 38, 38, 38, 22. We looked at the 22 lb (back right) tire and saw a steel stake ground down in the tire and it was leaking air. Im thinking I need to find a Big-O tires to get the tire fixed or replaced. However, the Grease Monkey tire tech said he could fix it. I asked Right now? and he said Yes, $30. I said go for it. So in about 20 minutes he had taken the tire off, pulled out the stake, patched from the inside, filled with air, balanced, and remounted the tire. The tech showed high experience in all aspects of the tire fixing. A very good job. The truck drove great and the tire is still doing well. Thank you, Grease Monkey on Alameda way, Lakewood.

Richard and team were very pleasent to speak with! Reasonable time, reasonable cost for a standard oil and lube service. Didnt seem too horribly busy on weekday, not sure what Saturday looks like.

They have their sales pitch down and are quick to come to your vehicle when you pull in with a list of their services and price. What they dont tell you up front are the hidden fees, like youre paying additional money for oil, and its not included in the price that is initially shown to you. I paid an extra $40 (hidden fees) with the price shown to me for an oil change, $79.99. If they told me I would pay for the oil as an additional cost, I would have found another place. To add insult, I kept being told its almost done, and the wait time was 1 hour and 40 minutes. Dont waste your time or money. Go elsewhere.

Met my Daughter for an OIL CHANGE and only an OIL CHANGE! Im glad I went or they would have had her a total wreck. We were sitting outside when the tech brought out a list of things needing done and carrying the air filter. Remember I said OIL CHANGE ONLY. Truck was bought from a dealer only a few months ago and needs nothing else. Back to changing oil in the driveway from now on. The up sell is a corporate thing im sure. When someone says OIL CHANGE ONLY maybe they will listen next time. Wont be a next time for me!

One of your workers almost ran me off the road today. Its ok, I gave my car footage to the police. Needless to say I will never go to this place and I would not recommend to anyone. The worker in the white car that thinks its okay to 60 in a 45. Drive in the turning lane to make sure I dont pass him and then when they get infront of me slam on the breaks a total of 5 time. And when I get in the turn lane they get infront of me and slam on their breaks again to only to need to turn at the next light.

This location has always done a great job for my vehicle and my wife’s vehicle. Yes, they will come yo you before performing work with a list of recommendations, but they do it because they want your car to run well. They also do little things for much cheaper than a dealership. For example, my wife needed her headlight bulb replaced on her 2012 Outback. For this model year, you must pull back the wheel well cover and try to fit your hand up and in a tiny space that you can’t even see. The dealership will charge about $100, but Grease Monkey only charged $25. Just goes to show you that they aren’t going to run up the costs of a task that only took them a few minutes. I will continue to go to this location as long as I can.

I have had great service here in the past, no complaints at all. I have a new car that requires an oil weight that these guys do not carry (or were out of). When I called I was told I could bring in my own oil & they would change it for what I thought was the price of the labor. However, I was charged the full price of a conventional oil change ($40). I didnt use their oil!?!?!?! Everyone that is still reading should get the conventional oil change because apparently the oil is actually free! Labor is $40 but the oil is free! Thats how that worked out. I brought my own oil but was charged a conventional oil change price of $40, my oil but $40 in labor. By the way, I spent $80 on my oil plus the filter plus the $40 to get my own oil I bought changed. Thats $120 total. They charge $80-90 for a full synthetic oil change. Going somewhere else where I wont get ripped off.

READ THIS BEFORE YOU BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!I brought my vehicle here for an oil change and routine maintenance check. The very next day getting my car back my car breaks down. Come to find out there isn’t any coolant and the dip stick is wrapped around the pistons. When I had my car towed into grease monkey they got the truck running and then sent me back on the road. The truck broke down shortly after leaving the facility and now is “totaled”. Lesson learned, I would take your car to the manufacture that it came from for the maintenance. Not here I will most likely have to seek legal ramifications to remedy this situation.

Best place I’ve ever been to for an auto service. Extremely professional and quick. They had complimentary jersey mike subs, sodas and waters, donuts, and chips along with a comfortable and enjoyable waiting room. I will not go anywhere else.

I went in for an oil change. They showed me the oil change packages that I could choose from. Got the $56 package and in the end it came to $71. They tried to get me to spend more money on other services. I just need an oil change.

Typical quick service Oil Change. You definitely are paying extra for the walk-in, quick, weekend, while you wait service. (which is why I came here today) Waiting area smelled horrible, cigarettes or bad AC unit I think. They will of course try and sell you on extra services which are all more expensive than other auto service shops. Their recommended service intervals are shorter than the manufacturers. They were honest as far as I can tell, they showed me and other customers our cabin air filters for example. (mine clearly was fine which is what they told me). They certainly check over your vehicle for fluids and burnt-out bulbs for example (which I want them to do and appreciate), because they want to perform those services. (which youre paying a huge cost for convenience to do here rather than driving to one of the 3 part shops right down Alameda.)

This is my go-to shop for oil changes and quick work. They are always fast and attentive. On more than one occasion, I have pulled in with an emergency and they quickly handled it. Its nice to have a car place where you feel comfortable going as a woman.

I started going here several years ago since a friend of mine highly recommended them. I have never been disappointed. Service has always been relatively fast for me and I never would get an oil change done if I had to make an appointment! The people working at this location have always been friendly toward me and not pressure me into anything. I only go here for oil changes, filter changes, etc. nothing major.

I stopped by this week for an oil change on a company truck.This location struck me as above average soon after I got there. I decided I would make the trip back from now on after a brief talk with the owner. This shop definitely goes out of there way to be better than the competition.

Best Grease Monkey on the west side! Everyone working here is so friendly and efficient. They always do a great job with my oil changes. The waiting area has a toy area for kids, a TV, a popcorn machine, and cold soda and water!

Disappointed in the service I got there after reading all these nice reviews. So I went in to get my oil changed because I was lazy and didnt want to do it myself. 40 dollars is a great price for the whole change, plus they check your system. However, when I checked my oil level two days later the person who filled my oil just dumped a ton in without giving a second thought. It was WAY past the full line. Needless to say I had to take time out of my day to dump the excess oil and decided to never let them touch my stuff.

Didnt feel pressured to have anything extra done on my car, and I felt they were honest with me...which is something I dont always feel at car shops. I usually go here whenever Im due for an oil change, and I love the free sodas, coffee and water. Bathrooms are clean, once in awhile they try to sell a lot but its there job, and you can say no and they dont care. Wife loves when they leave a flower on dashboard for air freshener. Not really too busy either.

Happy with the service, and I know this is a petty complaint, but I am SO annoyed you guys reset one of my trip odometers. It had nothing to do with the oil change mileage. I had that set to keep track of how many miles I have put on the car. My title doesn’t have the mileage at purchase. Again, small issue, just really annoying. I know how to reset the odometer and could have easily done this myself on pickup from the oil chance service. Also my new sticker says my next oil change is due 30,000 miles ago.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! I went here to get my oil changed and they told me it was going to be $37. After they started working on my car they informed me that 6 of my lights were out and they could replace them for $5 each. I though that was funny since I checked them all before I went in and all were working so I said they could skip that. They advertised that my car was done in 7.45 minutes but I was sitting there waiting for 45 minutes! Finally after seeing my car exit the bay 15 minutes ago I went and stood at the counter. 5 minutes later someone finally came to help me and told me my bill was $90. I asked them to go over the charges with me and they charged me $40 to rotate my tires when they did not tell me there would be a charge for that. They also charged me extra for oil because they only cover 4 quarts when all vehicles take at least 5. The people were rude, slow, and charged me 3xs the amount they advertised. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

I went here to get a simple oil change. They told me every single thing was wrong with my car and recommending fixing everything which would have amounted to about $500. I had my car serviced by an honest mechanic one month prior who fixed everything that was wrong and said the rest of the car was fine.Also after I left the car immediately started having rattling noises when braking that wasnt there before I went to that shop. Absolutely avoid this place unless you want someone to break your car.
