They performed a used car check and gave me a comprehensive prioritized list of issues with estimates to be addressed. I found this very helpful and we came up with a service plan. I feel safer and trust their expertise and professional pragmatic service.

Window was not working. Told them I may need an actuator switch. They scheduled the appointment and replaced it. Called me afterwards and said that did not fix it and it would end some electrical work that would have been noticed if they did a diagnostic on it. When asked why they did not provide me the information about the diagnostic test, they said we do what the customer asks. That makes zero sense. I take it to a mechanic because I dont have the knowledge for the project. They do. Needless to say, I will never go to this unprofessional place again. Only costed me 400 bucks to find out.

I brought my Ram 3500 in for an oil change a few months back. I thought everything went well, and the price was great. Turns out that was NOT the case.DO NOT BRING YOUR DIESEL TRUCKS HERE!They put regular CAR OIL in my diesel truck, and charged me for the diesel oil too. So not only did they use oil that is not compatible with my truck, they charged me for something they didnt use.We only found out because we took the truck to another mechanic that we trust FAR more, for a service that Precision couldnt figure out how to perform.So while yes, this is a great place to bring your REGULAR CAR, do not, I REPEAT, DO NOT bring your diesel vehicle to this place for an oil change, or you will end up with car oil instead of diesel oil.

I’ve maintained a long history with Precision Tune (approximately 12 years) and can attest to their commitment to doing quality work. They have regularly done a great job of making sure I was informed on any issues with my vehicle and how much/how long it will take to complete the job.They have gone above and beyond in various situations as well, even loaning my girl friend a truck during the big snow storm we had a couple years back!I highly recommend them for any car care needs you might have in the Lakewood area.

I came in for a brake pads appointment. I asked severally the typical turn around time on the phone, and when i walked in. 1.5 hrs they said. Ok cool.The price was kind of pricey because of extra labor required they said. It took 3 hrs to have 2 front brake pads replaced!Now i get my car after 3 hrs and i start driving off, then i notice my container has what looks and smells like oil where im supposed to put my mouth. Can it get any worse? Definitely not coming back again.

Ive taken my car to P-Tune for the last few issues that Ive had with my car. Theyre always prompt with their service, and have gone out of their way to get me scheduled in. I got my car checked before driving cross country, and they even freely installed new panel screws in a fender well that was loose.

* I highly recommend *I had been -before taking my car in- driving my baby, and she would rattle, shake, and didnt drive right. She made the noises worse when excelerating or breaking, and she shuttered while idle. Got scared her transmission was going. They did a full diagnosis and found it wasnt that, and repaired the actual problem, even staying after hrs to make sure she was done for me before work Monday. They also work with Carmax MaxCare, which is notorious for being arduous. They spent the time to make sure they took claim of the cost they say they cover. Overall a great experience.

Got an oil change that came with free wiper blades then once my oil chamge was done I was told it would be an additional $23 for the blades. State that my car had special blades. Its a 2014 Ford Focus basic model. They said they couldnt tell until they saw them. Either they dont know cars and shouldnt be trusted to fix them or they do it on purpose.

Im very satisfied with the service I received. Now, I can feel the difference in the performances of my car after the service. Looking forward to seeing them again for other issues in the future.

Setting up an appointment here is an overall bad experience and the front desk/management has always been incompetent.

When I first brought my car in it was dying while idling at random times and sometimes wouldnt start for a good 20 minutes. I was very impressed when I originally brought my car in. The lady up front seemed very knowledgeable and they got my car done that same day! She even stayed late for me so I could pick it up! I will admit it was a tad expensive, but what can you expect from a fuel issue!Two days later my car died at an idle again at a light and wouldnt start for about 30 minutes. Needless to say I was a tad grumpy after all the money spent to fix it. Sadly they were closed since it was a Sunday.I brought my car back in Monday morning and they took another look. The mechanic was very nice and fixed the Engine speed sensor at no charge because the money I paid and the stress I had undergone. I wish I could remember his name because he made me feel at ease with the whole situation. A++ customer service.I will most defiantly be taking my car back to them! They did a great job fixing everything and making it right. Honest mechanics if not a bit spendy, but honestly I felt it was worth every penny since their customer service was so great!

So far, so good! A first visit is always risky, not knowing who is the mechanic(s) so you put trust into the person who talks to you up front. The staff was listening and providing what would be looked at and would call to provide repair/service cost! I appreciate the fact that it wasnt off the chart, realizing mechanic bust their knuckles to do good work...if not, doors close and signs change. Im very happy with cost and the car is running great! Im seeing better gas mileage and response all around! Like to meet the mechanic next time, to thank personally or to know him next time I come in...thats important to all customers, I believe! I really appreciated that and she wholeheartedly was genuine and concerned. I have returned twice since our conversation. Both times the service was quick and was a good experience. I had a very good experience with this place. I am very satisfied with the service they provided. Most representatives are very honest and courteous to me whenever I have questions about my vehicle, so I can avoid unnecessary costs and save money. I recently changed the timing belt and had some other services. If the owner didnt mention the timing belt I may end up having a bad experience on the road because I am already over the miles that the company recommends. I really want to thank them for bringing up this problem that I totally forgot about it. I also like their recommended services because I can learn how to manage my car in the future. There are so many car care places but it is hard to find the right place. This is the place you can rely on for your vehicle.

Precision auto performed an engine replacement for my Subaru. They were very courteous with good communication, a fair price, and I am happy with the work completed. Car runs great now and I will consult them for my future mechanic needs.

Went in for a simple oil change, it was $35 bucks and only took 40min. When I came back the (amazingly nice and helpful) man at the counter told me that: Something was dragging under my car and my air pressure in my tires were a little too low. I was expecting extra charges, or to have to make another appointment... but then he told me that they took care of all of it! For no extra charge! I was over the moon. The process was quick and painless and Im so excited to have found this shop.This place was so helpful and nice. Im going to come back for any of my car needs. I would have been a repeat customer if it wasnt for how rude I was treated by a woman at the front counter. Instead of saying sorry we missed this the first time we looked at your car, she lied and said they didnt miss it but that she told me verbally. When I showed her the paperwork of what was told to me she still would not accept their mistake. I was refunded my money, but I wasnt asking for a refund I was just asking for the service that I paid for to be done correctly.

This location has stepped their game up substantially! The new franchise owner knows his stuff! He is back there working in the shop himself and personally oversees the work being done. The owner before (about 9 years ago) tried to scam me out of over 700 dollars, when there was nothing wrong with my car. But I have to say now, this place is legit, and I highly recommend it!

I dont live in WA. anymore, but this place definitely set the bar high when it comes to auto shops. Not only was the work they did fast, affordable and professional, but apparently they overcharged me on one of my repairs - which in my opinion was already very affordable - and called me back after hours to let me know to come in and get my money back. Thats pretty honest. Like others have said, Mahn and the rest of the staff are excellent, and leave great impressions.

Overcharged for the services rendered. Got my vehicle back with a issue with ignition that it never had before. Now I have to start it several times to even get it going. But I guess my brakes got fixed? Smh.

When I called back to actually speak to someone I stated that I was upset about being put on hold for so long and forgotten about and I got no apology, no name from the person who answered the phone and an abrupt appointment set. I haven’t even got my oil change yet and I’m already giving them one star the only reason why I didn’t cancel altogether and go to a competitor is because I have a Groupon. The customer service is terrible. After this I will not be doing business with them again.

My vehicle had a problem which was derived from another Precision Tune location, so I brought it in to this location (Lakewood, WA). They informed me that the company is franchised, and therefore, they werent obligated to correct the issue. However, they respectfully honored their name and made things right.Furthermore, the rep that I spoke with knew more a code my vehicle was throwing than any other mechanic Ive asked. I was impressed with their knowledge-base in addition to the courteous manner in which my concerns were met. This location is certainly recommended to anyone in need of vehicular repairs, tune-ups, fluid changes/flushes, etc.

Let me start off by saying I dont leave reviews but by far these guys are the most unprofessional guys Ive met in the auto business. Hai (Manager) took in my car last Friday and promised me that my car would be done today around noon (starter). I call today and the employee working at the time (Manh) states he knows nothing about car being completed today and that the car hasnt even been touched. He also says that the manager is on vacation and that the car wouldnt be done until Thursday. No phone call made to inform me of any changes and they tried to charge me for work and the car hasnt even been touched.These guys are not honest and there seems to be a lack of respect. Save your money and time and go somewhere else!

They told me that every front and back brake pads and rotors needed to be replaced.. after hearing they wanted over $800 I got a second opinion and what do ya know. only things that needed replaced were the pads! even IF this other place did put all new rotors and pads on, I woulda saved over $400 doing it through them!

I bought a barely used VW. I got it checked out and they said I needed a new alternator - $600. (my car barely had 30K miles on it). Thought this was odd, so I got a second AND third opinion. Apparently my alternator works perfectly but my engine cylinders are misfiring...and that Precision Autotune obviously didnt do what they said they did and just tried to sell me something I didnt need. UNTRUSTORTHY. UNPROFESSIONAL. DO NOT GO HERE. I honestly want my $120 back.

I was just here earlier because my car wont shut down, i went to closest auto shop and they said that theres a problem with the ignition and i have to leave the car and they will look at it on Monday. I left and went to Precision Tune Auto Care and they look at my car with no hesitation. I didnt catch the name of the guy who help me but he tried couple of things and he was able to fix it. Battery just needs to be reset and i was able to turn on and off my car. He advised me that if this something happened again just bring the car back and they will run a diagnostic. The lady at the frot desk was very helpful and kind. They didnt charge me a dime for fixing whats wrong with my carThanl you so much and God Bless

They installed a brand new $2700 steering column to fix a $50 broken shift lever in my Uncles $2000 truck... he is elderly and disabled and forgot to ask questions or get a second opinion. When the manager was questioned about recommending such an expensive brand new dealer part for a twenty-year-old truck, he became ride and stated he does this all the time! They refused to cancel the order and return the part blabbing about it being a special order. .GRRR!NEVER EVER GO THERE!
