This place is amazing! They go the extra mile and really take care of their customers. When my son was away at school and needed breaks. David explained everything to my son and also explained it to me, Mom who is 3 hours away. He did the work at a very reasonable price and had it ready the same day. He even offered to drop it back to my son at his college so he didnt have to take an Uber to pick it up. These guys are the kindest most professional people Ive ever worked with. I will be a customer for life!

Under new management since I was last there. David is very professional and understandable. Great as a person and a manager. Has a great Assistant manager at the front desk. She is kind and down to earth. You dont see management like them often in the auto repair business. I got my brakes taken car of and an oil change. Great service and staff.

My husband just drove there on a rim from having a blow out! He was told in order to be serviced he had to buy 2 tires that they weren’t going to do just one! Maybe your staff need to be re trained in customer care and quality customer service. They even called him back to justify their actions and now won’t stop calling him. You will NEVER get our business again!!! Shameful!!! I will be calling corporate as well!!!

Dave the manager was beyond exceptional! I bought a Dodge Caravan it turn out to be a money pit. Im 6 months pregnant and have two other children I felt hopeless when I took it in there. Dave did everything he could to get me the best price. He truly took care of me and made my van drive like i just drove it off the lot. Their professional service and genuine care they provided gained from me a lifetime customer.

This is a shop where the owner is okay keeping the customers car for 7days in a row, charging them, and then handing them their keys saying “it’s 80% fixed, have a nice day”. The owner also gets his employees to write reviews. Where there’s smoke there is fire, stay away from this place unless you need a tire changed, that’s about all they are good for.

They truly do deserve the 5 stars . They went above and beyond for me who was screwed over at a different mechanics place . they not only fixed my breaks and starter on my Jeep Wrangler, I was tight on cash n they did everything possible to make sure I got the service I needed at affordable price . I will definite recommend anyone here for car service and I will be returning back to them in the near future to get more work done to my Jeep. Dave was so great and courteous and the front desk girl was super cool and awesome, all the way around, they all made a great team together, down to the front desk. If you like paying for others people’s mistakes this is the place for you. They think everyone has “this MIGHT be the issue money”. Their compression testing machine does not work properly which caused them to misdiagnose my car. Costed me over $1700. I had to bring my car back 5 different times, every time I left my check engine light was on and they assured me it was nothing big and just on because my exhaust wasn’t stock, they had my car for 14 days total. Everything they did was pointless and this is why after the last time i picked my car up and it was still not running properly I took it to elite auto in Lakeland. I did not tell them anything Midas did afraid of being listed as a “hard find” and being over charged but within an hour they had called me and told me my engine was bad due to lack of compression, and that the car was not worth fixing. This is after Midas has charged me 1700 in engine maintenance repair. They had me do an entire tune up and replace my catalytic converter on a car that needed to be trashed due to a bad engine and rusted under body. When I walked into Midas I told them repeatedly I just bought the car it might be a lemon please look it over I need to know if it’s worth putting money into. They had my car for 14 days and at the end of that the next thing they wanted me to replace was my transmission. That’s why I took it somewhere else. Elite auto had my car for less than an hour and knew it was the compression. Wish I could give them zero stars.

Will just throw parts at your car instead of actually diagnosing the issue. They dont keep up with their equipment so the readings their machines give are not accurate. Wont own up to their own mistakes even after another shop identified the issue. The one thing I thought they actually did property was replace the brakes but after getting a flat tire I learned they tighten the lug nuts so tight it broke the tool I was using to get the wheel off not i have to bring it somewhere else to get the tire off. Stay away from this place they really have no idea what they are doing.

Amazing experience went in asked for appointment for tomorrow and they were able to fit me right away between Deanna and David not only was my oil change done quick david explained and showed issues my car has and even how to correct the issues they were very professional and would recommend to them them time in and time out

Went to replace a light. They had the best price and did quickly. Picked up my car and was told if it goes out again I needed a new wiring. The light went out the following evening and they replaced my wiring free of charge. Excellent service, the best out there

SCAM. We took our vehicle there to have them look at it, to give an estimate to fix it and they charged us $300 to tell us what was wrong with it. We took it to another shop for a 2nd opinion and the cost to repair is way less that the $5,000 they quoted. BUT $300 for a quote??!!! They did not tell us that up front, but would not release our vehicle to us until we paid them. Stay away!!

I drove from Pennsylvania to Kissimmee to attend a funeral and by the time I arrived in Kissimmee my car was makin a weird noise. Next day went to get in the car and I realized the air conditioner was not running as it shouldve been and by the end of the night it was overheating. So the following day we went to a few places to have it checked out 1 of them being the Universal Nissan on Orange Blossom Trail where they ran my bill close to $400 for them to tell me they did not have my part in stock and could have it in 5 days. Only positive about that was I knew what part was needed for my car. So I started calling around Auto Zone, Pep Boys, Oreillys they all said they had it in stock and when I arrived the part was no where to be found. Finally I went to a place who mentioned Midas so I gave them a call told the lady my situation and she said Ok let me see what my manager can do for u! She comes back to the phone and says He said come on in and he will have it fixed for you today! In shock I replied He can get the part today!? She says Yes! He has many places to find parts. I said Im on my way! As soon as I arrived the manager hopped on the phone and started looking for my part. It took him less than 1hr to find my part and we were back on the road within 3hrs. The worst part about everything is this man found the part at the exact Nissan that I went to. I highly recommend going to this place if I could pack up his shop and take him to Pennsylvania with me I sure would we are truly grateful.

We used Midas suggested finance company American Finance and they neglected to inform us if it wasn’t paid off in 90 days we would be liable to pay an additional 7,000$ of interest. They loan was for 3,300! Don’t just sign read the fine print. Midas doesn’t tell you any of this. Highway robbery! Will never again! Also while there we saw them catch a car on fire about 3 times. They same car. Sorry for the customers car!

Took my car to get a MBRP exhaust fitted. The exhaust is made specifically to fit my car. Came back after 2 weeks because exhaust was expanding with heat and touching the rear control arm and some other part of the car, causing vibrations and rattling. Took it back and they told me they installed it correctly and it was a MBRP problem. Told me, to fix it he would have to modify the hangers or the exhaust to get it to fit! It cost me $260 to fit this!!! And they wanted more to make it right!! Took it to VW, they loosened some clamps and did a shuffle and re-tightend the clamps.. it took approximately 2 minutes to fix and they did it no charge! MIDAS is a JOKE. Considering contacting BBB!

These folks were extremely helpful and nice. I originally took my vehicle to Tuffys who said they replaced my brakes but they didnt lube something or another so I had not only get new bakes but new rotors. Midas helped get me back on the road safe and sound. Buyers beware of Tuffys!

I went for a battery and oil change and to have my brakes and air in my tires checked. 289.00 later they said it was ready to go and checked everything and when I got home my warning light for low tires came on. I was leaving for a trip and told them to make everything was good to go. When the light came on I checked the tires myself and they had 27 lbs in them. Had I left for my trip I could have had a lot of issues. What started to be 5 stars quickly went to a single star knowing they disnt do what they say they dis.

Went to Midas on 3/8/21 with my Toyota Sienna rear entry wheelchair van that developed a stress crack in the manifold Y pipe. I was quoted $2735.00, to bring the exhaust back to factory specks which cant be done since it is a conversion van. Went to the muffler man on west memorial in Lakeland, and $132.00 later the van is fixed. Shop around because I was told by several people that Midas will RIP YOU OFF!!!!!!!

The staff at Midas really impressed me they did a Great Job on my 1967 Camaro alignment most shops will not work on the older cars. Bob Davidson the Service Manager went over the top on making sure I had a pleasant experience.

I lost my car when I was T-boned and recovered a 10 year old car that my wife gave to her sister 5 years ago. The sister put in gas and changed the wiper blades, not much else.Brought the car in and Kevin & Sam were there to hear my sad story. Unemployed because of the accident, I had a lot that needed done and not a lot of money to work with. The gents figured out what needed to be fixed, what could wait, and what I could do myself.I had three different technicians worked on three different aspects of the car. One piece was missing so the Midas shop owner jumped in his own truck to pick up the piece, saving hours until the regular scheduled delivery time.I needed new brake pads on all four wheels And disc’s on the back. The technician said he would replace all four, but Kevin asked if I needed that, or if it was just good to have. Tech said I could live with what was on the front. No effort to sell a part that would only be good to have. Two times $80 that I did not need to spend, but would have because I’m not a car person.Trying to think of other things to say. The manager bought donuts for his team and offered me one. I mumbled that I had an errand to run and one of the guys took me to the Target just down the road.Clearly I could not be happier.

Everyone at Midas is very kind and welcoming and it is very evident that they value customer satisfaction. I went in to get a standard oil change and was out in less than 20 minutes. I live in Orlando and I came to this location while I was visiting family. I wish I had this care in Orlando because they value my time and I did not feel as if I would be taken advantage of. The two men at the counter were very helpful and I will definitely be back in the future for my car needs!

Best customer service experience I’ve experienced in this industry - bar none.This location is professionally led and operated. The leadership team has clearly fostered an organizational culture of camaraderie and competence.During my visit, I observed the Service Manager (Bob Davidson), who was well dressed in business attire, go onto the operating floor, pull tires and parts, assist with an oil change, and inspect vehicles. I further observed Bob spend about 5 minutes with a customer who was clearly only in the store for researching parts he would be purchasing elsewhere. Bob could have brushed the man off, instead he asked the man to stay so that he could help him research what he needed. When the man left, he had info badly needed to make a purchase elsewhere.The office environment was pleasant and jovial with a staff that seemed to enjoy their work and their coworkers. This store is a credit to Midas and worth driving some distance to get to - I certainly will.

I see a lot of people making great reviews of this location when they tried to hustle me out of $800.00 for a fuel pump that only cost $40.00 if you ask me these people are very dishonest I will never be doing any business with these people again. They lucky they got 1 star from me.

Joe and his pit crew are awesome! I visited there recently for a 2nd opinion regarding repair recommendations I received from a technician at Tires Plus after hed changed the oil in my Jeep. Joe not only personally showed me what repairs were really necessary, he pointed out everything the Tires Plus technician didnt do that Id been promised, such as top of my fluids (most obviously washer fluid was nearly empty) and the air filter cover was left unlatched and dangling under the hood. Consumers are suspicious about auto repairman anyway and the Tires Plus technician reinforced my own mistrust. Joe, on the other hand. turned it around completely. His estimate to fix a leaky cover gasket wasnt necessarily cheaper than Tires Plus, it was certainly in the ballpark. You cant write up integrity in an estimate but it was there, His willingness to fit me into his busy schedule and provide a courtesy ride to a restaurant (thanks Kyle) while the repairs were made was an example of customer care at its finest. When the repairs took a while longer than promised, Joe made it right. I didnt ask, it was just done. Lakeland Midas has earned more than my business, they have earned my trust! Thats a priceless piece of mind. When it comes to the possibility of making costly auto repairs (or even routine maintenance), I wont hesitate to give my business to Joe and his great team. Jim Shock-a VERY satisfied customer for life.

The service manager, Bob Davidson, is exceptional! The first face you see when you walk in, his welcoming attitude & friendly demeanor make this Midas stand out from the rest & feel like home. Importantly, being a lady, I was never overcharged or quoted unnecessary parts/services or made to feel incompetent. Very thorough & always makes sure to go above & beyond what others pass off as just routine maintenance.

I had to have my car towed and I had it brought here. There was a very small but potentially costly mistake made at a different mechanic that they fixed within the hour. I was on my way home to Gainesville so them fixing it quickly was very appreciated. They said theyd assist me if I was not refunded at the other mechanic back home by contacting them themselves so I was very happy with the customer service. Definitely recommend

Kind and helpful staff, answered all my questions and talked with me about the process. Turns out someone dropped a socket in my engine when replacing the intake manifold, ended up destroying my engine the next day, I dont know what happened, Ive never seen this before said the technician as I watched the 1/2 socket rattling around inside the blown out remnants of my engine. I doubt Ford would have put it in there in case I needed a spare, but hey thats just my opinion.

My rims were damaged when mounting my tires. When declining other high priced services they said my alignment would cost double.. They also tried charging me double for mounting front tires because they might be difficult

I am at the shop now and these guys are hands down FANTASTIC!!! Don was friendly, courteous and very knowledgeable. James processed my oil change and fixed my rotor that was sticking. The store manager (whos name I have forgotten please forgive me) was exceptionally professional and made me feel valued as a customer These gentlemen really made this a wonderful experience. If you havent been here then make it a point to come see them. If you havent been in a while then definitely schedule an appointment. I will not be going ANYWHERE else for my automotive needs. Went to get just an AC compressor fixed that turned into $1,500 with all the other things they suggest I need. Then with three different phone calls that began with I have some good news and I have some bad news on top of all that my truck AC has yet been fixed, the AC blows sometimes but does not blow cold sometimes it doesnt blow at all and I spent $1,500 for no reason.
