I brought my Jeep in because it was all over the road. Talked to Jason and he went out of his way multiple times to make sure the faulty part was found. Him and his crew are amazing and VERY knowledgeable. Them guys know their stuff! I have been to other shops in the area and they could not find anything wrong. Seemed like they didn’t have the “drive” to find it. High Standards found it! So needless to say I won’t be going anywhere else for tires and lifts or suspension issues. Take my word for it….expect quality work and fare prices with knowledgeable staff at High Standards 4x4. This is a family owned business that treats you like family! I would not recommend or return I was over charged for the parts and the owner was had little interest in talking with me. My vehicle came out worse then when it went in. I had no budget and did not even talk price I said here’sWhat’s wrong do what ever needed 900 dollars later my Jeep is worse then when it went in. The owner was more interested in talking to someone about having his new land mowed to even look at me when I was talking. The person at the counter was wonderful. As a part of a veteran company owner I always take my money to fellow local veteran owners I will not return nor recommend you use this company!They responded to my review and included an email which returned as an in valid email. Not that it would made any difference as three message were left directly at the shop

While doing what should have been a routine swap of shocks and springs, they found several issues that also needed to be fixed. They went above and beyond putting in a full days work to ensure my rig was safe and fixed before I left. This is a family run business, and they take care of you like family! We won’t go anywhere else and they will be our first referral when asked.

This place was an absolute life-saver for me! I didn’t have any issues with my rims or lift-kit, I actually stumbled upon this place when I had an issue with my electrical for my trailer hookup. I asked if there was anything they could do for me, but they said their electrical guy, Tommy, was booked for the next week. I was on a time crunch and needed immediate help so Tommy sacrificed his time to help me out on the spot! Tommy diagnosed the problem and fixed it in no time, all for a great price! I absolutely recommend this place as I received incredible customer service. All the employees have great character, are willing to help, and care about the quality of their work!

Love the place, Ashley was very nice and patient with all the questions I had. I had never gotten a lift before so I had a lot of questions. These guys are awesome! Had them install a bds lift kit on my f150 and they did a fantastic job. By far the best experience ive had taking a vehicle to a shop. Customer service was great and they had my truck finished in a day! Highly recommend these guys if you need some work done to your rig.

Boss had air bags installed in his f150. Has had nothing but issues with them. Owner wont fix the issue correctly. They actually welded the air bag mounts to his frame! Double checked fix and noticed one of leaf spring bolts not torqued correctly. Was actually loose! Was told they left it loose intentionally so bolt wouldnt snap. Why only one and not done the same way on the other side? Removed the bump stops? Why in earth would you remove the one piece that keeps your suspension from completely bottoming out? Makes no sense. I ride in that truck daily and fear for my life since they hacked their work. DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANY WORK! THEY DONT STAND BEHIND THEIR HACK JOBS! I mean work.

Excellent experienced shop for 4x4 needs, plus accessories for others. They are one of the recommended installers for HornBlasters air horns. Im traveling, so I used them to install a Conductor Special 244 Nightmare set on my 2017 Ford F350. They did an excellent job installing it and wired it exactly they way I wanted. They check you in and check your vehicle for existing damage (which I like because I had Mountain View Ford in Tennessee do damage to a wheel and never tell me) . They take notes on what you want done and explain what they did at pickup. I picked them specifically based on their positive Google ratings and the sheer size of their operation compared to some others in the area. You can read for yourself. I would definitely use them again. Their staff is great to work with even though they are a busy operation. Thanks Jasmine and Katelyn and the two installers (sorry dont remember their names). The lead guy on mine definitely knew what he was doing and used my upfitter switch they way I wanted it used and made sure the remote worked they way I wanted as well. Thanks!

Don’t waste your time. Call Ahead and ask if they can do what you need. Kailin is a professional, kind, smart, patient person. I doubt you could find a better front office commander. What started as a bad experience was turned into a good one! I traveled from tampa because my research told me that they were the best in the area! It started bumpy because mistakes were made. After finding out about the mistake the owner Jason gave me a call and offered to fix it!!!! I have to say he really exceeded my expectations and showed me that he understood that customer is still a must in business! Great service, friendly staff, and did an awesome job on my truck in less than one day! Had tires mounted, road force balanced, leveling struts installed and alignment. Truck drives smooth and straight as an arrow. They even mark all bolts after torquing them. Would definitely recommend this shop!

I purchased a 6” stage 2 pro comp lift kit along with wheels and tires from high standards and they far exceeded my expectations. The pricing was competitive, but the service and experience isn’t matched anywhere. I was so happy with my lift I went back a couple weeks later to have a new grill installed and they continued to impress. I have received multiple compliments on the looks of my truck since bringing it to high standards. I will be a customer for many years to come.

This is by far the best shop you could choose to take your truck to. I just got back from over seas and my amazing wife surprised me with my truck all dolled up. The truck still drives smooth as stock and is so much stronger with the Bully Dog tune they installed. My wife told me how easy and fun they made the experience. There were zero flaws in their work and they also back there work no matter what. I could of not of asked for a better job. They definitely delivered on their end. Without question dealing with High Standards has been the highlight of buying my new truck. They made all the BS that the dealership put me through worth it. I love how my rig looks now AND on top of that the staff is top notch, they are very accommodating and very friendly. They will answer every dumb question you have and they won’t hesitate to steer you in the right direction even if it costs them money. I will absolutely recommend them to everybody who asks.

Good people and good merchandise. Not the cheapest around but I am happy. Only issue was it showed odd tire wear 4 months later and I would have to pay for a new alignment from them if I wanted it fixed. Understandable but would have been 5 Stars if they went that extra mile.

The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I had them install a RC 6” lift on my Ram 1500 and they really did an amazing job and I love the way the truck looks and drives. I’ve never seen a place paint marker every single but and bolt to make sure nothing came loose. The entire staff is courteous and accommodating. Kailin is a pleasure to deal with on the phone and in person, she really made the process run smooth and provides excellent customer service. This is over a two hour drive from where I live but it’s worth the drive when you find someone good. I will definitely be using them in the future for any of my truck lift needs and I highly recommend their services!

Called to schedule an alignment on a lifted 96 f150. They arent very knowledgable or friendly or helpful on the phone. Are only interested on selling tires and accessories. Dont seem to be interested in working on high end custom 4x4s. Typical parts changer mentality

After I purchased I upgraded the wheels,tires, from local tire shop. It looked great but it was missing the truck look to me. Jason installed a leveling kit, we changed the rims, again, and added a more aggressive tires. What I difference. I will be returning for future work without a daught. High Standards was recommended by a friend as one last place to try before I tried a different tire setup for my truck. After going to 4 different wheel and tire shops coming out with no luck in mounting my 20x14 wheels on a set of 33x12.50r20 mud tires. I decided to drive to Lakeland to see what High Standards could do to help me out with what 4 other shops called a difficult job. Spotty is the employee that came out to look at the wheels to see what he could do, said hed mess around with one just to see if he could get it on and within less than 5 minutes later I here an explosion and Jason comes into the office saying thats one. So you could say I was very happy with High Standards and their work. I was in and out of there in under 30 mins with mounted and balanced wheels and tires. I recommend anyone whos looking to get work done on their 4x4 trucks to go to High Standards in Lakeland before you go anywhere else.

I have been a Quality Manager for over 40 years and I am very critical in regards to service and quality. High Standard 4 x 4 is the third 4wd off-road service company I have worked with in the Tampa Bay area.The first 4wd company I worked with was a big corporate store. It was too expensive (by thousands of dollars), a second store was a privately owned 4wd shop in Pinellas county. They were so inconsiderate and rude I walked out the morning my lift kit was supposed to be installed.High Standard 4x4 was different. The service adviser (Kailin) was very pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful. They scheduled my lift kit installation around my schedule and completed the work in the time frame they promised. This place is high priced and after i got my truck back from getting my leveling kit on my truck was not put back together right cost me more money for someone else to fix what they did wrong. I didnt even want them to tou h my truck. I paid for a alignment and they didnt even get it close. O yea again they are priced too high.
