Brought my Subaru Outback in for a fuel pump recall. In addition I requested an oil change.I was met with professionalism and a cheerful demeanor. My service advisor called me and recommended additional maintenance totaling over $900.00. I informed the service advisor to only change the oil/filter, cabin air filter and engine air filter. When I picked up the vehicle the cost was $264.07. I like the people and I think the service department is well run but the price was simply too high and the reason for 2 stars.Sadly it’s time to explore other maintenance options.
Everyone who worked in the service department was very nice and professional. They took good care of my Outback, lent me a loaner car while they fixed the problem with mine. Very quick and efficient!

Our initial intake when we dropped the truck off was less than acceptable. Customer Service was horrible. We arrived at app 5:20 and Preston made us feel like and made it very clear verbally that it was almost closing time and he didn’t know what he could do and he wouldn’t be able to do a full inspection and pictures for estimate. What was even worse was he made us feel like we were putting him out by being there close to closing time. Truck was suppose to be there around a week and it was there 4 weeks. Needless to say if I ever need a Body Shop again it won’t be with your location.
I just bought a 2017 Outback from Jessica at Cannon and it was a great experience! They all were so nice and the experience was very smooth! Daniel was so friendly and knowledgeable when it came to the actual car. His communication with me was imperative since I was coming from out of town to get the car and he was on point! Cannon has a great paint and body shop they did work on my car that was damaged by a rock company and painted it to perfection. Will always use them for my body work. Little expensive but great work.

Lakeland Subaru service on its last leg. They schedule for service for a recall notice and dont even have the part. RE-schedule and the associate at the front has ZERO customer service skills. Clearly not wanting to do their job. I would not recommend or go to Lakeland Subaru
We had the best car buying experience that we have ever had. Matt was wonderful on the phone and in person. This was the fastest, easiest time buying a car. I usually dread the hours involved in the process. I think between the phone and being there we maybe had two hours from start to finish. We got a great deal and didnt have to fight to get them to honor the internet pricing. They have a standard dealer fee (as they should) but there were no surprises after we got there. I suppose buying a car is not so bad after all! I highly recommend doing business with them. Ask for Matt!
I had a wonderful experience working with Ryan Weems at Cannon Subaru. I briefly stopped by over the weekend just to take a look at a certified pre-owned 2020 Outback with very low miles that had a great price. At the time I wasn’t sure if I was in the best place to take the plunge and try to buy, so I test drove and went home to wait a bit and think on it. After some thought, it seemed like a deal I didn’t want to miss out on after looking at similar vehicles and inventory in the surrounding area, so I went back and Ryan helped set me up with a great deal, and helped me get my first “new” car, and my first Subaru. Worst experience I have ever had at a dealership. First no one even tried to sell me a car and told me I should put a deposit down to hold a car coming in the next week if I even wanted a chance to see it. I put down the deposit and decided to try my luck at Subaru south tampa and ended up buying a car from them. Good thing they bought this dealership because it needs a lot of work. My experience at Subaru south tampa was amazing. I then had to spend a week fighting with the dealership to get my deposit back. It seems no one even works at this dealership because every time I called I would get voice mail and spend the entire day calling back just to get someone on the phone. Once I finally was able to speak to someone they had no record of my deposit whatsoever because they had changed owners and offered no solution to me. I had to drive an hour back to the dealership to finally get a refund for my deposit. Upon arrival to get my money back I was treated extremely rude like I was the problem. Would certainly not recommend this dealership to anyone buying a car.

I have my 3rd Subaru from Cannon and it has a recall for a fuel pump impeller issue. After checking my car they said they would call me to schedule replacement. After a week I called them for an update and was told Subaru had not come up with a replacement part and they had no idea how long it would be. I was told to call Subaru myself. I did, and they do have a part and Subaru of America asked me if I wanted to be put on hold while they called Cannon to clear it up. I left a voicemail for Danny Cannon after talking to Subaru directly. I have not had a response from him or the service department for a week. Buying a vehicle is one thing but who gets to take care of it after is another.
I have bought a few cars from Canon Subaru and keep coming back for their great service. Matthew Sotomayor made my most recent purchase so smooth by delivering an excelent customer experience. I paid for tire rotation on two different occasions and they charged me but did not rotate the tires. I know because I have a skinned rim and it had not moved. If you use their service department ask for the used parts as proof of their work.

I liked the focus on community relationships, the little perks like free oil changes and car washes, the reputation for being fair and efficient. I was not rushing and looked at the web, did my homework. Decided to go for a test drive ... and IMMEDIATELY upon arriving into the lot, Jessica met me with a (masked) smile and tons of patience. I didn’t know what I wanted, but figuring that out was most important. No rushing. Just information, specs, curiosity and more patience... Super detailed expert ride-alongs on the test drives helped me get a feel for the different vehicles on my list and what I really wanted. By the second visit, I had my figures straight and was steeling myself for a prolonged bargaining session, but no. I was in such great hands! Walked in and gave Logan the parameters of what I was looking for and what I could do. After a few unforeseen issues ( all of my own doing) Logan and two others, whos names escape me at the moment stuck with me and helped me drive off the lot while sticking to my initial requirements and a little wiggle room. This place is a ripoff. Do yourself a favor and shop at carvana for a used car. You will save thousands. If you want a new car go to Tampa and you will save 30-60 bucks a month in financing. I wish I could take my car back. Good salesman just bad tactics in how they throw numbers at you. They want to squeeze everything out of you. You can save a lot of money if you go else where.

We bought our new babe on Friday and drove it around over the weekend. We loved every moment. But the best was today. We dont buy a new car very often but must say our experience at Cannon Subaru was smooth and painless. The service Joe Brown provided was exceptional. We had our heart set on a particular color combination and trim level. Joe continued to search until he found the perfect vehicle and had it delivered quickly. When I got there for our scheduled appointment, the car was cleaned and ready to go. Joe had all the paperwork ready, answered all questions, and was a delight to work with! My mom went from a very basic older car to something with a lot more bells and whistles. Joe spent at least 20 minutes walking her through the media center and all basic functions of the vehicle in a manner that was succinct and easy for her to follow. Troy was amazing to work with as well! I always dread the financial aspect of buying a car, but not with Troy! Everything was streamlined and straight forward. In the days following our purchase, my mom called Joe several times with follow up questions and he was incredibly attentive and patient! The fact that he was so kind not just the day of a sell, but before and AFTER, assures me that he is the best out there! Thank you guys, for making this so much fun!!!!

I purchased my Subaru Outback in TN but moved down here a few years ago and have been bringing it here for service. All staff I have encountered, even in passing, have been extremely friendly, welcoming, and offering to help (or grab a bottle of water while I waited). Excellent customer service, great parts and service department (Ive never felt pushed to purchase or use their service department for any repairs). Whether I stayed for service or used a loaner, the process was painless. I will be a Subaru owner for life! When it came time for my husband to get a new car, I made sure he came here! Never any sales-y vibes - a great place to bring your car for service or to purchase a new one!
Going to vehicle dealerships is always a pain, you always feel pressured or completely ignored.When researching a vehicle i went to multiple Ford locations and each time was a nightmare, i made appoints weeks ahead of time to show up and hear “ohh i forgot” then was left there waiting for an hour before we realized we were forgotten once again!Going to Cannon Subaru and being helped by Ron and Chase was a delightful experience, they never once made me feel pressured and let me move at my own pace, they let me test drive multiple times when i was in between deciding which vehicle i wanted.They are hands down the reason i bought my Subaru Crosstrek and i couldn’t love it more!

Car keeps breaking down.Rather than answering with well your car was repaired in a timely manner. My question is still the same car has had 3 major break downs. To the point of a motor was rebuilt the transmission replaced . the issues continue. Has anyone looked into them.
Went in on Saturday to finance a Subaru Ascent and met with Joe. He asked me what I was looking for and I told him exactly what I expected out of the vehicle. They didnt have the color I wanted but got the vehicle from another dealership and I was able to get it on Monday. He assured me the process would be quicker than other dealerships when I voiced my concern with having to come with my toddler to finish the transaction. And he was right! We finished everything just in time because my son was moments away from getting restless.From the beginning Joe was helpful, he listed to what I wanted and delivered. He didnt try to pressure me into a more expensive model (which other dealerships do, in my experience) but got me exactly what I wanted. I am extremely happy with my new car and the service I received at Cannon.
We are snowbirds and I needed a car within four days when we returned. Did many searches on the web with different car dealers and everywhere else you can buy a car online. Cannon answered me back promptly and answered all my questions. Gave me a great price and even delivered my car the day after I arrived in Florida. My salesman Louis was very patient as I was asking many questions, he was great. The financial people knew exactly what to do as I wanted my car registered in a different state. All in all it was the best experience I ever had buying new car. Also I love my new Forester, thanks Cannon.

Long wait and not as good as they used to be. Had to go back and have them re do the alignment....no more free automatic carwash ...needto request and pay.
