Mike was friendly and accommodating and Rusty the mechanic was friendly and explained all the nuances to me about my brakes and tires. They were both fantastic! Dropped me off to work at 9, worked on the car and had my brakes and new tires done by 11. Awesome service. Will recommend all to go to this facility.

Called at 5 pm with a car emergency. Dropped off that evening, was called with quote at 8:00 am and car done by noon!!!! Excellent customer service, fair prices, friendly people. Will ABSOLUTELY be using them again as needs arrive.

If you want to experience the stereotypical mechanic shop that seems to always have more important things to do with no communication? Then this is your place! Can you set up an appointment? Sure! But don’t be shocked when they say it’s your fault for not assuming that they need all day to even get to checking your vehicle for something that should definitely take under an hour. I guess I can appreciate their honesty of saying they hadn’t even looked at the car when I called to check in on it after it sat in their parking lot for 6 hours…… Any communication or even apology would have been absolutely appreciated – even if they had just told me that they think it would be better if I took a vehicle somewhere else

Had gator tire installed my new wheels I ordered online and 35 inch tires. Also had them do an oil change and alignment.Wheels and tires are perfect no scratches or anythingMy only complaint was the never did an alignment. I wasn’t charged for it so I guess there was just a Communication issue when I dropped it off. Not a huge deal I will definitely return I will just make sure I communicate better.

Walked in with brand new tires and brand new rims that i had purchased somewhere else. They mounted and balanced the tires while i waited with no issues. The rims were damage free and clean when i got them back. Everyone was extremely polite and helpful. I will definitely return.

Were able to take care of my problem (needed a new tire due to a blowout on I-4 and was driving on the Donut spare)..Got me out of there within an hour while two other tire dealers in the vicinity werent able to get to me for 3 hours and next day respectively. My 2015 Sentra was stalling out and left me stranded at my friends. My husband works and I need my car to take my son to school. I have been extremely stressed and this car situation didnt help. I called Action Gator and spoke with Dusty and explained my situation and he could hear my stress. He had my car at the shop a week and nothing he tried worked. He put the part it needed on and called another guy from Tampa to program it and it worked however the check engine light was still on due to a filter I had put on before that my car was not recognizing. Dusty called Nissan for the correct filter and my car is back on the road!!! Thank u so much. Kindness goes a long way. First time customer and found both Scott and Mike more than willing to give me the best deal around. I had shopped prior to Action Gator, and they price matched without hesitation. The building was very clean equipped with a coffee bar and small waiting area. I got there early, and my Mustang was taken into the bay quickly. The installation of new tires was professional and when I left it was like driving a whole new car. Might give them a try at other services. Highly recommended!

Gentlemen don’t “push” me into things that NEED to be done but kindly write down for me to follow up with also your oil changes are right up there in correct pricing and not gouging is customers to where we don’t do ourselves at home like we have!

Came in for a simple oil change. It is a new car first oil change. They did not seam to be that busy. It took almost 3 hours and there were people that came in after me and got out before me. Also when I asked how much longer I was told 5 minutes and finely left 30 minutes later. I am not one to complain however I just felt it took to long for just an oil change. If they would have told me how long up front then it would have been my decision to wait or not.

I have to say the customer service was great at first. Alignment done in 30 min. They found a worn tire, and I bought a tire from them. Things went downhill from there. 2 hours later scott ask me how many miles on my car, Im not there for an engine review. I knew there was an issue. He said my tire was seized? He couldnt explain the problem, but to place blame on me. My tire pressure alert was on all weekend and no cap on the new tire valve. This is how you get bad reviews, be honest and Ill understand but dont give me a dirty look after 2 hours of me waiting patiently.Scott called me, thats great customer service. Everyone do their due diligence.

They are always very willing to answer any questions I have. Whenever I call for an appointment they get me in right away. They staff is always very polite and engaging. I highly recommend them for your car service!!

I had a flat and my son saw my tire was dry rotting. I dont put much mileage on my car, 62,910 miles and my car is a 2007. We called Action Gator Tire, they had 4 tires to fit my car and could have it done before they closed. I was from out of town so I needed it done before I got on I-4 to go home. They did a great job and I was on my way. Would recommend them and use them again when needed.

I needed tires for my old Lincoln Town Car. Didnt want to spend a lot, but did want a good, safe tire. Action Gator on S. Florida Ave came through. Great price, fast service, and nice people. 5 Stars!

I’m new to Lakeland and very selective with hiring mechanics as well as other services. I stopped in on a busy Friday afternoon, needing a tire repair, so I was safe to leave on a road trip the following day. Mike was super pleasant and helped me avoid a long wait by asking me to come back in a couple hours. When I came back, they took my car right away and identified the problem. Even though my repair required a part to be ordered in, they went ahead and made a temporary repair so that my car will be safe until the part comes in AND they didn’t even charge me for the temporary repair! I’m so happy that I have found a place who truly knows how to serve their customers. I will definitely be back and be sending my husband and daughter their way too!Great service, positive attitude, very nice, clean comfortable facility that you can relax in while waiting and they even offer you free coffee and water.

My husband and I have been bringing our 3 cars to Action Gator Tire in South Lakeland for a few years now. Staff is always friendly, knowledgeable and willing to explain service details to us. Our cars are advanced in miles as we have long commutes to work but our cars are running smoothly because of the great mechanics that maintain our cars!

GREAT SERVICE FOR A BUSY MOM!I wasnt sure what to expect as this is still a pretty new facility in Lakeland and I hadnt heard anything from friends or family about the services however I was immediately surprised upon arrival.I knew what I needed when I went in and didnt feel pressured to buy add-ons or services that I wasnt prepared for. When I did ask a question about an issue I was having but wasnt totally sure that it was anything major, the manager reassured me and didnt make me feel like it was a bigger issue then it needed to be and had the tech check it on it just to be sure.This building is super nice- not really sure what I thought it would be- but it just looked cool for a place that I thought was just for tires. (I learned they are full service center!)COFFEE AS I WAITED! It might not make a difference to many, but as a mom- free coffee anywhere is a bonus! I was really glad that there was a cute seating area for my little one to sit at while we waited and there was free wi-fi so he was content the entire time because he could play on his tablet!Great business added to Lakeland!

Stopped in without an appointment to have 2 tires mounted and balanced. The staff was friendly and helpful. Their waiting room had bottled water, Keurig coffee, and a Coca-Cola vending machine. They were able to get my car inside within 5-10 minutes, and had me on my way a short while later... approximately 30-45 minutes total. They offer a variety of automotive services, so Ill definitely be going back when its time for an alignment.

Nope! action gator ruined my 5 star rating because just yesterday I brought my 2009 scion tc in to get a power steering pump replacement again because they said the new one before wasnt working properly with no charge because it was under warranty still. plus I paid for my radiator and hoses and thermostat to be replaced. Now today my coolant is leaking worse than ever with new parts on it? How? I want answers?

Went to Gator Tire in South Lakeland to get front tires replaced & all 6 tires road force balanced on our 2016 Mercedes Sprinter dual-rear wheel vehicle. Could not be more satisfied with the shop experience and the result of their work. Our large van now drives & rides better than it ever has. Feels like it is better than new, the repair eliminated vibration we had experienced since we got the vehicle. Very fair, economical prices for the work too. Highly recommend this shop to anyone.

I am not a person to be leaving reviews but this time it is the exception, I mean the branch located in lakeland fl, I do not recommend this place to anyone, they treat the customer badly, the service is very very bad for a business at that level, besides that they take many hours to days in very simple things like changing a tire, worst service in all my life counting with management nd workers

I have 52k miles on my 2018 Hyundai Elantra and decided to take the vehicle to Action Gator Tire for a brake system evaluation. The brakes were not causing any issues. They offered a free evaluation with the presentation of their coupon available online, and determined the brake pads still had 50% life. I appreciated the honest evaluation, and will be returning for other services in the near future.

I chose Action Tire based on my husbands experience with Mike. The whole team was awesome! Scott got me right in and my tire was fixed in what felt like less than 30 minutes at 5:30pm on a work day. Will definitely recommend to others.

After having dropped my car off for a simple tire patch repair and returned 3 hours later only to find it sitting right where I had parked it at a local competitor, I called Action Gator (just up the street) and asked if there was a long wait. The friendly voice on the other end explained that for a simple tire repair he would have me back on the road within 1/2 hour. I got my keys back from Tire Shop X and drove to Action Gator less than 5 minutes up the road. They had me in and out in 25mins. Thank you Action Gator you just won a new customer!

Asked for the front left and spare tire to be replaced and an alignment. No alignment done because of “software updates” and they couldn’t tell me how long it would take. Next thing I realized, they replaced the wrong tire!! Front tires both replaced instead of what I asked for 3 separate times. Do not go here. Very unorganized and no communication.Update: Comped the alignment. Put the tire on the spare like they were supposed to but gashed my wheel in the process. Would give no stars if I could.

Went in to have a slow leak fixed. Took 35 minutes and was back on the highway. Excellent service and very courteous employees.

I arrived at store opening 7:30AM. My vehicle issue was diagnosed quickly and I had a full quote of the cost (which was very reasonable!) within 20 minutes. By 9:15, my complete service was complete and I was on the road once again. I will be back for anything necessary and I appreciate the level of service here!

Everything was very professional, I brought my dodge challenger in, they took it right in. Matt the technician was awesome, could tell he had alot of experience. Cause he put a Borla cat back exhaust in about 1 hour fits perfectly & sounds awesome!

Made an appointment to get my tires rotated and a patch checked before a big road trip. Showed up at 2:52 for a 3pm appointment. Sat there until 3:39 without them touching my car so I took my key and left.If making an appointment doesn’t actually mean anything, could you at least offer warning that it’s a bad idea to wait around?

Great customer service right off the bat! I was early for my apointment but got me in ASAP. The waiting area was comfortable and accommodating with charging stations which I happened to need. I actually spoke with Andy (store manager) on the phone making the appointment and David (service manager) got me signed in, advised me of some suggested work to be done (wasnt a lot) and even went so far as to print off some quotes for me. He also advised me of some credit options available if needed. Just having moved to the area I needed new mechanics and I just found them!!! Thank you.

I had a flat tire, well about 18 pounds left but essentially flat . It was a Saturday morning and we were headed for a weekend at the beach .I limped my car in at 7/25The manager said we can get you right in, It was repaired and out the door bu 7/15 . It’s was fantastic . I apologize as I forgot his name but I will be returning in the future .

Action Gator Tire has BY FAR exceeded my expectations. I was gifted four tires as a Christmas present from my parents back in December and the whole experience was great. They make you feel 100% at home and even offer amenities you dont always see at other places. During my visit an older gentleman offered to pay for me to have the Roadside/Road Hazard protection added just because he felt it in his heart to do so. (Wow, I know right?!) It was quite refreshing to hear Christian music on the television in the lobby. The customer area is always clean and well stocked. I went today just to have a tire checked as I recently hit a brick on the interstate and just wanted to make sure it didnt damage the overall tire. Employees beyond happy to help and so kind. I would DEFINITELY recommend Action Gator to anyone I know for all their service needs. Thank yall so much for such a good experience EVERY time. ❤

My car kept struggling to stay on and was struggling to accelerate so I was thinking it was something with the spark plugs. I drove my car to a nearby tire Kingdom where I was told that the mechanic was not there, on a Saturday, and was not going to be back until Monday morning. Then the gentleman walked off. so I got on my phone and I was hitting a phone number to another place and ended up with Action Gator. Great people! great staff! The guy explained what my problem was. He showed me the problem, and told me what needed to be done. When he explained the cost, he reassured me that I could get it done and I could pay for t with their financing program. I was out of there in an hour! Wonderful crew! Would recommend them to EVERYONE!!!

Exceptional staff and service. Went in for tire maintenance on both vehicles. They described the issue and gave me options. When another problem arose, they always ask and confirm before making the repair. When I asked them to check out another issue, they did it and helped me save money instead of charging for something that did not need to be replaced.

I asked if I could get an oil change pretty fast, as I was pressed for time. The guy said yes. After 30 minutes, I asked how it was goin, & he said theyre just about to do yours. 30 min. After another 30 minutes, I asked, as I could see my truck was already pulled out h waiting on me. The teck said, lemme go find someone to check ya out. But the guy that was gonna check me out went on break. Really? So I had to wait another 10min for the other guy at desk to check me out. I guess Ill go to a quick-lube next if Im in any kind of hurry. Lol

Hands-down one of the best tire experiences I have ever had!I called in to the at 4 pm shop and Greg reassured me that they were open till 6 o’clock and that we had plenty of time to take care of my tire.I was received with a smiling face and a great attitude not only that they got my car right in and took care of my tire and got it repaired and out the door super fast.They have earned a customer for life and I will definitely be back the next time I need tires.

Chris, the service manager, at Action Gator is amazingly helpful and efficient. I have had so many issues at other places with my diesel truck. Chris makes sure everything is done right the first time. His knowledge of diesels and vehicles in general is refreshing. I highly recommend Action Gator for this very reason!!

I took my car to Gator Action Tire yesterday for an oil change and tire rotation. I went back later in the day to pay and get my car. I asked the lady taking my payment If the rotation had been done and she said, “Yes Ma’am.” As I walked up to my car I noticed a yellow paint splatter on the front left tire that had been there since the weekend. The tires were never rotated. I went back in and told the lady the tires had not been rotated. She told me they were supposed to be and went to the back to talk to someone. She came back out and told me the tires showed even wear so they didn’t need to be rotated. So why tell me it was done and why put it on my receipt? If my tires truly didn’t need rotating they should have told me that instead of lying to me. As it turns out, they do need to be rotated but I’m having it done somewhere else. I do not appreciate being lied to like this.
