BAIT AND SWITCH.I got their $29.75 coupon and headed over. When I got there, the employee looked out at my car and told me that it was $20.00 more for a luxury car. What? I dont drive a luxury car! He said yes, my car classifies as a luxury car per the owner, and apologized and says he doesnt make the rules.What do I drive? A 2013 Ford Mustang!!! Can you believe that?I had no choice, took time off, had to get it done today! I got fleeced for $20 by foreigner robbers and thieves.I do not recommend or endorse this business.

The place is very dirty, no where to sit no water. No one was there when I came into the office. The guy showed up from around the corner and i needed my car smogged.They advertised a coupon for any smog $29.95 plus storage fee $8.95. He said he could not give me the discount and charged me full price $58 even if my car didnt pass the test which it did not. He told me it didnt pass said to come back when repaired. Never going back again

They have misleading coupon for smog check on their website and it shows test only and people may mislead. They charge $68 for Smog check and I never paid more than $38.i drove from Irvine to lake forest just because of this coupon and shop 5 min near me offer $45.But the shop is so clean friendly staff and I received good service.

Had to get a smog certificate so that I can register my out of state vehicle. Im glad I came here to get that done! I was in out in 20 min with no hassles. Staff was nice and friendly. Will bring vehicle #2 here soon!

Walked in, signed paperwork and was out in 15 minutes. We moved from out of state to CA so had to do 4 cars within 2 weeks. All went the same... 15 minutes. Great service, friendly.

I came for a smog check. Horacio quoted me $68 dollars and then he said he will take $10 off. My car failed because the on-board computer system was somehow mysteriously erased. I found out this can happen if someone unplugs the battery. However, I havent unplugged the battery for years. Then Horacio tells me I need to drive for 60 miles and bring it back for a re-test. I had to pay $50 for the failed test and now he is going to charge $35 for the retest even though his ad says if you fail, the re-test is free.This mechanic is shady and rude. You are better off avoiding this place.

The coupon is a bait and switch. They will come up with ridiculous reasons as to why they add at least $10+ to the advertised price

They have a coupon on line but before you go make sure to print the coupon and understand $29.75 is just the cost of smog and then of course you have to add in the cost of certificate $7 and the cost of electronic transmission to the DMV $3, so the total is $41. On the other hand they are decent and honest.

The coupon showed $29.95 and when I got there, they wanted to charge me almost $50 for my 2007 Luxury Lexus. I left and went over to Advantage Smog on Trabuco & Lake Forest in the Movile and AS had a $29.95 coupon - no problem.

Over priced! Go to the other side of the parking lot and get your smog test at Promax Auto Service! Youll save around $20 for an older car if it needs to be dynod.

Saw the $29.95 coupon with no appointments and went in. They told me that the coupon was for $41 WITH an appointment and that you cant use a coupon without an appointment. Without a coupon they want to charge $61. Hah-no! Taking my business elsewhere.

Had a great experience here and technicians were very friendly and helpful! Smog test done quickly and at a fair price, I ended up needed other maintenance as well which they gave me a fair price on. Will definitely come back for my next smog check because of how great the customer service is!

I got there to see if my car is ready for the test. I was told by Howard to wait for 5 min and he’ll get to my car. 5 min became 30 min then I asked if he could just test it with a hand held scanner. He said they don’t have one then he became very defensive and disrespectful.I asked the person before how long they been waiting. He said 2 hours. For a smog check???I won’t recommend this place to anybody.Business rule#1: The customer is king. Need to learn how to talk to your costumers with respect. He even try to serve another person ahead of me.

I gave an extra Star because the manager came to rescue.This is how my day starts, I took my work truck here for the smog and waited around 40 min, smog passed, I went to AAA to complete the registration and Waite another 45 min for them to tell me the smog company used the wrong system for my truck and they cant register it so I called the manager of US Smog he asked me to go back and re do it, then their machine was locked and wouldn’t start anyhow another hour and half of waiting in a dirty place and sitting on some totally disgusting chairs was not fun at all, my advice is that if you visit this place make sure to ware a clothing that you don’t care much for so you can burn it afterwards. I visited their next door place and that place is like a high end hotel compare to this one and price is the same, so for the future I know who to go to on my other trucks and cars...

Came in for smog check and was told they where by appointment only. Was asked to come back at 3pm because they had an opening. Came back at 3pm, they took my car in. Had me waiting 20 minutes only to tell me that the technician didnt arrive that if I wanted I could come back tomorrow morning. Such a waste of time!

They might seem cheaper, but that’s because the place is a joke. Go to someone who knows how to do their job. Failed me on my first smog check because I had an aftermarket intake on. I put the original on and brought it back for a retest passed. Did some research and my aftermarket intake was legal, the guy just couldn’t find my vehicle in the list. Waste of time and money.

Charged me full price for a test when the odb sensor wasnt ready so test couldnt be ran. Said come back and just pay for certificate once I put a few more miles on it. Came back and tried to charge me for full test again. This guy is shady, there are so many smog places around, dont waste your time here

Dont go here. With all the smog stations around this one is as corrupt as ISIS. They did a smog for me and tested the truck wrong. They told me my O2 monitors for downstream O2 for my 2000 excursion needed to run and to drive further before charging my again for a retest. I did and still nothing went back 2 weeks later only to have them tell me to take it to the dealer to get fixed. I went to another reputable shop and when they tested the truck as a Federal (which is listed under the hood as such) instead of California vehicle, guess what, it passed with flying colors. I requested to have my money refunded and they said nothing could be done sorry!

Have had my smog tests done here in all my cars for years now. Very fast and very fair price.

Spent 5 minutes on my truck failed smog due to check engine light from bad battery. Cost me $45 to fail. Came back week later 10 minutes with truck past smog cost another $35.

First I was quoted $62 for my SUV for a smog test and that it would take about half an hour. About 40 minutes later, theres an older man walked in and asked for AAA discount. An hour and 10 minutes later, finally they were finished with my car. I asked for AAA discount (10%) so I ended up paying $55. The older man had a Corvette and he was quoted for $68 including AAA discount. It seems that there are different prices, not only for cars and SUVs/Trucks. Perhaps it costs more if you drive a nicer car? Be prepared to wait for more than what theyve told you.

This new mechanic failed my smog check for the reason he’s saying I connected a cheap hose on the breather line which is not affecting the smog test at all....

First one in, they take my car back and had to wait until smog tech arrived 1.5 hours later to complete smog.
