After going to Ace hardware, we won’t be shopping at Lowe’s or Walmart anymore. They have a great selection. Sarge helped us right when we walked in and we were able to quickly find what we needed with his help. He was great! Will definitely be returning

Customer service is TOP. NOTCH!!! Not only do they have hardware abs other home supplies but they’ve got TONS of local products as well. The Scott and Lafayette locations are amazing because it’s like they know what you need before you even ask and I can bet they’ve got everything you’d need!! Love going to either location because they make you feel like family when you walk in! LOVE LOVE LOVE my girl Batrice!!!!

I like this local hardware store on Jefferson, downtown adjacent. They have excellent service and a good inventory. Forget the big box stores. Come here first.

The service is very professional and so is the staff. You walk in the door and the cashier ask to help you and tell you in the direction you have to go. After you get there, there is an assistant to help you. It is handicapped accessible and you can see it from the road.

Glad they are there, lots of things, and prices not to bad either. Oh and lets not forget the friendly service!

Best place to shop for all of your Hometown Hardware needs. At Guidrys you instantly find a salesperson to help you when you walk in the door. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and if its not in the store ask about ordering the product youre looking for. Guidrys is also a certified Stihl equipment dealer and repair.

A Hardware store that has just about everything. Each visit to this store and theyve had what I needed.

06/11/2020, I purchased a patio umbrella that I guess wasn’t in stock and I didn’t want the display so the store requested one to come to the store. The umbrella metal pole was to thick and wouldn’t fit in the hole or stand of my existing patio furniture. Took the item back with receipt with in 7 business days aloud but got a so much rhetoric from the general manager Peppy saying this was a special order, scratches on pole where the two poles connect and more nonsense to follow.Bottom line wasn’t informed about return policy other than what I saw on receipt and there’s nothing special about this item other than I didn’t want the floor model and not in stock. The store called me 06/15/2020 and stated that the item was there.Showed them my receipt and signed paper to acknowledge that i picked up item but wasn’t informed of type of transaction policy different from purchase receipt. Horrible way to run a business and very BAD to represent Ace Hardware Corporate.

Was looking for a L shaped screw hook and they were very helpful. Looked all over and couldnt find one. Then not one but two clerks helped in spite of a busy store and we finally found it. I definitely recommend this business, friendly and helpful.

What a great, real hardware store.......they still do exist! I was working on a 70 year old house and came across some fittings that are no longer common while replacing a 32 year old hot water heater. After going to the Orange and Blue stores where I was treated like I was bothering them by asking for assistance locating the correct fittings (I knew what size I needed I just couldnt find it on the shelf) I went to Guidrys. I was immediately helped and literally when the employee saw the hose in my hand he knew what size it was, that it was uncommon and grabbed a new one off the shelf. I knew what size it was but trying to explain it to the Orange and Blue guys was impossible because it isnt new, it isnt out of the box. I was very impressed by Trevor, very polite and knowledgeable.

Ive been shopping at Guidrys Hardware for over 10 years and continue to do so even though Im back in New Iberia because the selection and service are so great. The store received a long needed update recently when they became an Ace hardware franchise. They now sell and service the entire Stihl outdoor power equipment line. Also great selection of fasteners including hard to find metric sizes. Last, but not least, if you need some random spring for your pruning shears, screen door, or your sagging desk lamp; they have it.

All kinds of goodies besides the essential and typical hardware store items. Visit them if you get the chance!

I went to purchase coated wire cable for new replacement clothesline. The previous one was over 25 years old and the coating was deteriorated and I risked possibly staining some lighter colors. They dont carry the good stuff any more. I went to Lowes and bought a kit of clear coated cable, because the wire they are merchandising is a cheap wire with few strands or only one strand: stiff, easily bent, and no flexibility...They still carry a lot of stuff but not the good stuff made in the USA, but a cheap Chinese imitations for many things: just like Wal-Mart.
