I originally went to A&L shortly after they opened up since they were right down the street from my house, and I have been happy with every single visit I have had with them since then. Scott and Drew are the 2 I mostly deal with, but the couple of other techs they have used over the years have hit the standard that those 2 have set. I have never felt taken advantage of or talked down to (you ladies know what Im talking about!!) and they have always taken the time to discuss my options and given me honest opinions. I feel like their prices are very fair, and have had convos on several occasions over the years with my husband about how we think they do not charge nearly enough for the amount of work and care they have put into our vehicles. I like the convenience to my house, but they are quickly outgrowing it and once Drew decides to move to a new location, I will gladly follow them no matter how far it is.

A&L Auto Care is hands down the best shop in Knoxville, TN. I took my 2015 Hyundai Sonata Limited to Firestone. I was treated like a worthless dollar and was blown off when I tried to ask questions on getting my car fixed and was given a quote of $2,600. Scott at A&L was able to get my special order strut in a day vs the 2 days at Firestone. Scott treated me with respect, valued my time and business, and most importantly their quote was under $1,000 with added repairs. A&L and their team dont deserve 5 star status they deserve superstar status.

A&L is such a wonderful place! I was visiting Knoxville when my truck very unfortunately decided it was time for a new engine. I was recommended by the tow company to have it taken to A&L, and I’m very glad I did. They were patient with me as I was trying to make my decision on how to move forward with repairs, and very quickly and efficiently were able to get my new engine in and my truck back on the road for an affordable cost. Scott and Andrew were very friendly and knowledgeable, and were happy to answer any questions I had. They were more than happy to take my one too many phone calls. Also, I’d like to add that Lauren has done an amazing job at turning the waiting area into a beautiful, clean, comfortable, and enjoyable environment! 5 stars all around!!!!

They were polite when we were picking up our vehicle that was impounded, however I thought it was strange that they did not have change for a $20.00 bill

Andrew has been my mechanic for years. He is very kind, and honest. If something doesnt need to be done he will tell you! Hes done a great job with all my repairs. I am so glad he has now opened his own shop! I will continue to use him for all my cars needs. Highly recommend

My timing belt snapped on me and I had it towed here because it was the closest to me at the time. However my experience with the was great! They fixed my timing belt problem, but my motor suffered other damage. Since I didnt have the extra cash to fix it all the way. The man working on it stayed till 5am working to get it so that it would at least get me home. I will definitely go back to them again! Aslo give that man a raise!

Drew and Scott were both great to work with. They were able to quickly isolate an issue on our Mazda that had me and the internet stumped. Even with a part supplier hiccup, they had our car diagnosed and repaired before a local dealership could get us an appointment. I would definitely recommend them to a friend.

We took my husbands truck to Andrew a few weeks ago and will be coming back to him for all of our car needs. He gave us an honest quote, and was very fair on pricing. He also fixed the issues in a timely manner so we could get back on the road.

These gentlemen are wonderful and respectful. Give you the truth and understand that gender stereotyping is not good business. Scott has been a wonderful friend of mine for years and I am so happy to be able to go to a shop where he is working and know that whether he is in or not I will still get quality service.
