We absolutely love Matlock Tire of Hardin Valley. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of truthful honest auto service work. I know that they have our best interests at heart and will take good care of our cars and us. They are honest, dependable, kind, and polite, and dont try to take advantage of us or push things on us that we dont need done. I used to be very stressed when we would have to have work done on our cars because we never knew if we could trust where we took them. Matlock has our full trust. We will be using them and only them from now on.

I had the opportunity to work with Jim Matlock both when I picked up and dropped off my car. He was fantastic and came out to the car with me and asked questions to really get my needs figured out.He got me a great deal on the tires I needed and then the shop had my car ready in less than 2 hours.I wasnt able to get the car till the next day because of my schedule but even that have them a chance to shine in confirming another issue with my car was not a safety concern and just a noise of an old car. I will definitely be back.

Went there to have a tire repaired. Was in and out in about 20 minutes. Very professional people, very comfortable waiting area with upholstered chairs and chairs out front if you so desire. Oh and they didnt even charge me. Mind you I have never been there before. Ill be back in the future for sure. Many thanks, Matlock knows how to treat people.

As soon as I got out of my vehicle I was greeted at the door by David. He was very friendly and helpful all the while carrying on a genuine conversation. He took interest in me being part of the neighborhood and thanked me for choosing this business.The waiting room is very comfortable and even has a room for children with a giant chalkboard above a bench seating area. There is a vending machine, fresh coffee, cookies, water, etc.The main waiting area has very comfortable seating with magazines and old photos of the Hardin Valley community. There are also orange and white rocking chairs on the front porch. While I was waiting, I overheard David asking a customer if she needed him to help her get a ride somewhere while she was without her vehicle.I didnt have to wait long at all for my oil change and the service was great. I didnt expect the cost to be as affordable as it was. Ive paid more for a basic oil change at other places that didnt offer half of the amenities as this place.David came to get me when my vehicle was ready and Reagan helped me with the checkout. He was just as friendly as David and they both thanked me for choosing Matlock as I made my way out.I cant recommend this place enough and I will make this the ONLY place my family goes for our vehicle needs from now on. Ill be recommending Matlock Tire Service to all my friends and co-workers!

Called to get tires rotated and balanced on my 2009 GMC Sierra (33/12.50R20) dude told me they couldn’t do the work unless they sold me the tires. I asked why and his response was because the wear and tear on his guys 😂, WOW you are a tire shop right??? Ive rotated before in my driveway with only a Jack/Jack stand and tire iron in less than an hour would’ve again but need someone to check the balance on tires. Anyone know a good tire store not afraid to work let me know 👎🏻

Worst experience having a simple battery change...called to get price and made apt.Classic bait and switch....added over $50 to price when we got the car thereNever again.Matlock, your response is not valid, we took the car to another shop and the fact is this car uses the lower priced battery.

Great place! I brought in my Hyundai for a windshield washer leak (that Firestone couldnt find). They diagnosed it quickly. They had to order a part but were extremely accommodating about scheduling me to come back for install. I was 15 minutes late to the 2nd appointment and they were patiently waiting for me when I arrived. Will definitely be bringing my SUV here from now on.

Very impressed! Every time we need something they Are there. Once, they did not have the correct oil filter on site for our new vehicle. They went and retrieved it without having to call us or have an excuse as to why they couldn’t complete the job like some businesses will do. They are kind and professional and reasonably priced... and location is perfect for us! Thanks!

I have recently hit a string of bad luck, between my radiator going in one car and getting a flat on the highway on another. That being said, it was a blessing in disguise. Matlock saved me over $1500.00 of repairs not only for their pricing but for their HONEST work!!! Places like this are hard to come by and my tire was fixed quickly (within 30 minutes of arrival, as was my radiator (one day and no overnight!) I dont think I will ever go anywhere else ever again! Great personal service at Matlock Tire received special order set of Michelin Tires for my Suburban in one day versus 5 to 10 days wait from club stores. Also received alignment check with instal and price competitive compared to other retailers.

This place has definitely earned my business the next time I need tires. I noticed I had a screw in my tire when I was going to lunch from work. They were the closest to me. Staff is super friendly. Every time Ive had a leak in a tire, theyve promptly fixed it at no charge. I now take both my vehicles to them for everything. Theyre fair on their pricing and wont do any work until they call you to discuss pricing and work required. Top notch service. I highly recommend.

Great new business in Hardin Valley. Was in and out in 25 minutes. Tire had slow leak. Ended up having 2 nails in it and needed to be plugged. They didn’t even charge me. I had 2 vehicles serviced there today. Very professional, very open and honest about what they were doing and they recommended service that was logical and reasonable. I had an oil change and tire rotation on one vehicle. The other needed brake fluid replaced due to age of car and discoloration and minor braking issue. On the same vehicle I had the front struts replaced, they were leaking, a filter replaced, and they recommended an alignment. All maintenance was completed on the oil change in about 30 minutes. The other took 3 hours. I had an appointment and they did better than I expected and the price was reasonable. I will start taking all my vehicles to this Hardin valley location.

Both my husband and myself have had wonderful experiences with Matlock Tire. My experience today -- super friendly staff, immaculate and welcoming store, great service and reasonable prices. They did a great job with my tires. We were in and out so quickly I didnt get to partake of the rocking chairs on the porch or play corn hole, but what fun and considerate touches! The Christmas decor, was so tasteful, it belongs on Pinterest! Overall experience actually brightened my day!!

Brought in a sick tire today (16p nail) that belongs to my daughters car. She was about to head home (Atlanta) and needed to get it fixed before heading down the interstate. They took care of it quickly. When my daughter went by to pick it up they carried it out and put it in the truck for her. Great gentlemanly service.

Leaving Sevierville yesterday I noticed I had a flat. I was by myself with a friend and three kids in the car. Our husbands are out of town. We changed the tire together and drove home on the spare. I knew this morning I would need to get the tire fixed right away as the spare was also losing air. I called a few places and the wait was going to be all day. I remembered that Matlock Tires had just opened up in my community in Hardin Valley so I gave them a call. They told to me they repair flats for free! I could not believe it! I have never been their customer before and they not only repaired the flat, the remounted the tire and stowed the spare for me. I was so grateful. I didnt have to wait. Mr. Matlock himself said leave the tire and come back in a couple of hours. He was very kind and helpful. They have a new customer in me! Thank you so much Mr. Matlock!

They recently did a service and front end alignment on my SUV. The entire process was first class from the employees to the workmanship. Today I needed air in the tires on a bicycle that has been sitting in storage for years. They told me to pull around and took care of me without blinking an eye. Matlock Tire, is and has been a part of my life, and my familys lives for years. I grew up in Lenoir City at the Crossroads and have had everything from patches on tubes to fleet truck tires put on.I dont put anyone who sells a product which is not made by them on a pedestal, as some things arent the installers fault, and lets face it, things happen.Recently I had a set of tires put on my personal truck, and a couple of hours later I noticed a vibration above 65 mph. It was a couple of days later but I went back in and left my truck early in the morning and before I finished breakfast, they called and said your vehicle is ready.This may not seem a great story but here is what matters to me....when I went in to pick it up they said, we are sorry you had to deal with this. Apparently some balancing weights came off and we have replaced those and thank you for your patience and your business.

Had my truck towed in today when it wouldnt start and my usual mechanic couldnt get to it till tomorrow. Within a few minutes of arriving on site, Matlock called me back and had already fixed the issue (blown fuse). This was my second experience with their service and each time has been first rate.
