Jon is an amazing person and very capable mechanic. I have used him for several different vehicles most recently for a complete motor swap which runs flawlessly. His shop stays pretty busy but patience is worth the wait because when you get your car back. It actually works... Small town guy, former navy service and most importantly I count him as a friend.

The best mechanic shop I have ever did business with! Everything they said they delivered. The estimate I was given before the work didnt increase like everyother shop I have ever did business wit. Nor the time they said it would take.. Jon the owner made it a point to communicate any concerns throughout the process. I cant stress what an amazing mechanic shop Transmission medics is. John fixed my work van in a timely manner. I was told by another big dealer I would need a new engine. John asked me symptoms and determined it just needed an oil pick up tube gasket. It runs like a champ now.

I had forgotten to put this review and I know that I have to do it because Jon from Transmission Medics helped us beyond what he could so that our vacations continued to be the best. In December on the way to Florida on the last exit in GA the transmission of our pick up broke down and my husband looked for a place to take the truck and this was the first that caught his attention. From the first moment we felt like in good hands and a very honest person. Jon gave as his best ad went beyond and in record time his work was done. He eve took the time to check other things in the truck to make us aware that everything was fine to kept going. Dont doubt this place is the best in the area. These guys did an AWESOME job on out truck and explorer transmissions. The explorer just needed to be serviced. The truck had to have a complete rebuild. They found something wrong with the wiring that we didnt know was a problem. They fixed it in a timely manner and did not go over the original quote.Thanks guys.

Outstanding customer service and just polite and friendly people. I was traveling to Florida when my car broke down (Hyundai Genesis)and I got it towed here and they let me know the problem and had no problem helping me out just fantastic.

I had broken down in Kingsland and had suspected that I had a problem with the transmission. I asked the tow vehicle operator if he had a recomendation as to where he would go to fix the vehicle. He got on his phone and had a discussion and when he got off of the phone he told me that the owner of the shop that he would utilize would stop by and give an assessment of my situation. That was when I met Jon, the owner/operator of Transmission Medics. He said that it could be the transmission judging by my description of the problem that I was having. He said that if it was a transmission problem that it could cost from $500 for repair to $2000 for a complete rebuild, but would have to look at it at his shop. So I had my vehicle towed to his shop, Transmission Medics, that night. When I called the next day, expecting to hear bad news about the transmission, I was surprised to hear that it wasnt a problem with the transmission at all. The problem was with the mass air sensor and it was a much cheaper repair than the transmission estimates! I really appreciated Jon and the team at Transmission Medics for their HONESTY and their forthrightness with my vehicles issue! They didnt know me and I had just met them, they could have easily misled me, like so many repair shops do, and overcharged me for service that wasnt needed! I highly recommend Transmission Medics to anyone looking for vehicle work of any kind! A fair and honest repair shop is truly hard to find, so go to Transmission Medics you will not be disappointed!

READ THIS REVIEW. If you are anything like me then you probably would not trust any mechanic with your vehicle, this place is the exception. When my truck needs a repair thats over my head I drive an hour to this location to get it done. I have tried several mechanics in my home town, but the quality was not there, these guys have never rounded off a bolt, they have never made a mistake, and most importantly they will never rip you off. If this guy says you need it, have him do it. If he says you dont need it, trust his opinion. He does the work, and will not do anything until he is certain whats wrong with your vehicle, and will not make senseless repairs. Before you go looking at another auto repair shop, Write this one down. You will thank me later.

If your looking for an honest, reasonable, dependable & professional mechanics this is the best place in Kingsland Ga/surrounding area. Everytime I call the staff delivers EXCELLENT customer service. Ive had my transmission rebuilt, new tires, fluid injector replaced, radiator fan & front wheel sensor. Someone recommended this place to me and Im very happy they did.

We are in the middle of a pandemic and its Friday afternoon and my AC was blowing strong but it wasnt cold. It was getting late, I called Mr. Jon and he asked me to bring my car right in. I gave him my keys and my son and I went across the street to have dinner while he ran a series of tests on my AC. Jon was very busy and worked me into his schedule with other vehicles in the bays. After it was finished, he actually took the time to explain the different tests he ran, what his machine did and what the results were. Jon is very knowledgeable and his prices are very competitive. I really appreciate the level of professionalism he gave me and at such short notice, the willingness to help me before the weekend came! Thank you so much! I will be back.

Got local estimate for transmission $6,000.00, brought here and repaired for $300.00. Needed 285,000 mile service. Replaced timing belt, water pump, idle pulley for less than half of last service. Have put over 2,000 miles on in last 2 weeks, been to mountains and pulled camper, no issues. If you are looking for honesty this is the place to go.

Took my truck in to get the transmission rebuilt. He had it a month and still want fixed. So I went and had it towed to another transmission shop. Got it back in 4 days. Paid him $6800 up front which I didnt get back but I did get my keys thrown in my face. Very childish as a business man.

What can I say? They really helped me out when I needed it. They fixed my car in a short period of time. There was no wait time. They are awesome to me. I will definitely go back. Just all around great people.

I’ve had many issues with my car, after fixing many things, and having more things go wrong it was very frustrating, in the end they took care of me, traced my wiring and got it working. There were many times John could have charged me for towing and labor and he didn’t because he understood how much I had already spent. He has always answered when I’ve called, broke down on the side of the road or in yulee at my job and has come and picked up my vehicle. And this is why we continue to call him anytime we have issues.

Excellent work! I couldn’t have been more in a binde and the guys at the shop kept me updated and and was definitely done for an exceptional cost. Thanks guys for making my experience easy and affordable!
