Split a climate controlled unit with one of my friends as well as two parking spots. Renting the unit was simple and quick. The representative at the front desk was very friendly and accommodating to our circumstances.While away we had no issues with the unit.Upon returning after around 8 months there was no damage to anything inside, no bugs, or anything like that.I’ve had pretty bad experiences renting storage units in this area but this place lived up to the reputation. You might pay a bit more but if you care about your belongings it’s worth it.

The units are clean, the office is nice, and the staff is fantastic. Especially the store manager Belinda, she was so helpful and assisted us in getting multiple units during a time crunch. Recommend this location to anyone.

I’ve used this storage company for 7 years. I lived overseas and needed a place to store my household goods. Staff was always pleasant and willing to help in any way possible despite the distance. Their customer service is horrible. Their policy could use some revising. My storage unit leaks when it rains. Now they’ve raised my monthly fee because of a greater demand in the area which should have nothing to do with the people who have already been there. I would recommend going somewhere else before coming here. It’s not worth your time. I’m inclined to believe that all the positive posts are friends and family.

So Far, So Good.The pricing is awesome, especially for the size.The employees at the front desk were extremely nice and helpful.The location is easy to get to, the access points are large and easy to maneuver.The lot for storage of cars (which I am not using) seems to have some older cars with broken windows and flat tires. The newer cars that havent been their long and are in good condition.The storage unit itself is good and clean, 10x15.So far, So good. Hopefully, during deployment, I will not have the problems as other Reviewers. But if I do, Ill update this.

Rented two storage units from Life Storage and I was pleased with the service. Very, very spacious inside the gates. No problem with big trucks getting in and out. No problem with front office. Good gate hours. I even got 1 month free for both units. Thanks Life Storage.

Mrs Belinda was so helpful and very professional. I leased a storage for a few weeks until I close on my home and she stated because I leased the storage and the van shed let me use her furniture dolly for free. The cost was also discounted due to me be a veteran.

The staff was professional and reserved a unit for me in advance. When I got to the facility the paperwork was quick and easy and I was able to store my things that day. My unit was clean and easily accessible. They have great storage materials in the office. I purchased a bag for my queen mattress. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Rented just the van to move yesterday and the process was quick and easy. Belinda was very nice and made the experience that much better with her friendly personality.

Did the research and LifeStorage had the best prices around. Was very impressed with how clean and secure the place was. I moved into our climate controlled unit and realized I needed a little more space so I rented a unit online. When I brought another load back it was a breeze to get paper work signed and get into our other unit! I have no worries about my things while Im away the staff patrols the units regularly and everything is on surveillance.

I liked the job that Amanda did helping me. She showed me where everything was and seemed to genuinely care about my experience there. I like that they have model storage units in the office so you dont have to walk all over creation just to see a model unit. I also loved the fact that they had at least one box from each type of box put together to give you an idea of the size of the box before you buy it. I hate getting home realizing I either needed a bigger box or a smaller one. At least when they are put together on display you can see the size prior to buying it and not having to guess.

I absolutely love this storage facility. They are super friendly and easy to get set up and into a storage unit. Both inside and outside is very clean and well kept. I could not believe how large this place was!!!! It’s a lot bigger than you think!!!

Not the cheapest ever but plenty of options to fit your needs. Youre probably better off buying your own renters insurance, but if you dont want that hassle you can just go with theirs. The units are clean and easily accessible. Security seems good too, requiring a code to get back to the units and cameras all over the place. They also have rental trucks available if you need one.

I recently went in to get a storage unit here. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and great the prices were in comparison to others in the area. Our plans changed and ended up not needing one, but Travis was extremely helpful and explained everything. If we do need one, well definitely end up going back here.

This company has charged my deceased friend’s $115.00 per month for the past six months. One would hope upon death they will no longer be billed. I called shortly after his funeral back in December and I still get the bill. Each month has rent and two late fees.

I am very pleased with Storage Kings as the facility is clean and the staff are all friendly and helpful. The area is spacious and you are able to pull up to the unit to load or unload without interfering with others. They also have the best storage prices around.

This place has great security and seems very friendly toward military, surely its biggest customer base. Rates are reasonable, and though I didnt comparison shop am confident that it is a good place to store.Customer service is good, though they tend to be understaffed more often than not. I have had one employee that was quite rude, however usually they are fine. I recommend this place for storage, though renting a U-Haul from here is more tedious than needed.

Decided to go with LifeStorage based on reviews and very glad I did. The lady up front was very knowledgeable and got me into the size I actually needed vs what I thought I needed. Very secure and easy access. Ill use them again for sure.

So far there has been nothing to complain about with Storage Kings. We have 2 units with them. They are helpful, and are polite. The only thing I wish I could change is the date of payment. But other then that they are in a convenient location, and are great.

Great customer service. I realized as I was unloading my last load into storage that I was going to need more space than I had rented. I returned to the office 5 minutes after they closed, but the gentleman who was working took the time to get me set up with another locker so that I could return the rental truck on time. The facilities are clean. If I had one complaint to make, it would be that the auto doors on the climate controlled buildings require you to push a button to open, which can be a bit of a pain when your hands are full.

I was happy at first until I needed a larger storage. They wanted me to pay full price for a larger storage then credit me for the previous storage rather than just doing a clean and easy switch. I moved to valu storage over the weekend. Life storage closed my storage down without me requesting it. I paid for the month and they assumed I vacated. I asked for a partial refund and the man had to read their own contract to get me on a no refund clause. Any company who brick walls the business for their benefit should not be in business.

After a 9 month deployment, I came back to get my stuff, but my car was dead. Travis and Belinda helped me get my car charged.The car wouldnt jump normally so they helped me Google ideas and went back three or four times to check the starter charger as it took my battery forever to charge. They were super patient. I even offered money and they refused.Never taking my business anywhere else. Thanks a lot!!! Great place.

Both of the women at the reception desk were very friendly and professional. They got me signed up quickly and gave me all the information I needed. I chose them because they are close to where Im living but would recommend them to anyone needing storage.

It says its a storage but it sounds like a 18 wheeler construction truck stop that back ups to a nice neighborhood. Very loud in early morning. Always trashing out the yards these guys park by.

So polite and courteous. The prices was outstanding. I ended up having to get a 2nd unit and a discount was given. This was way beyond what Ive ever expected. Grade A business.

No problems yet and they let me move my stuff in the same day. They were very patient because I was all over the place. They provide insurance and storage for about $30 for the cheapest space (5x5) and my first month was free!

Wonderful service and delightful employees! I was a very complicated customer and had to change my unit size and they were very patient and worked with me through every step.

DO NOT waste your money at this scum storage facility. Do not let the looks of the place fool you because I THOUGHT it looked clean and safe but I was terribly wrong. Staff is extremely rude, not to mention you will have the hardest time trying to get a hold of them unless you go to the facility itself which is sometimes hard when you are not in town. I didnt store any food in my unit however after 4 months of storing my belongings, I came back to a dead rat right when I walked in. Luckily, I didnt have anything damaged but one of the staff members did inform me that even if the rats damaged any of my property, they will not be responsible for compensating my losses which makes me think why did I even pay $10 a month for insurance? I can go on and on about my terrible experience with Storage Kings but I want to get to the point and let everyone know that if your belongings are important to you, DO NOT STORE YOUR BELONGINGS AT STORAGE KINGS!!!

She made sure that I had an idea of how big the unit I wanted to rent was going to be, I had my lock and rental insurance. Price isnt what was originally quoted when I made a reservation and now its my first monthly payment due and its gone up again.? After one call this was quickly explained. I received a 50% off for 3 month promo which was my confusion from looking at my account online great promo! Clean facility and located very close to the airport which was my main need and concern.

Shopped around different storage places in Killeen. Life storage was our 4th stop and we did not need to go to a 5th. Immediately walked in and was impressed. High quality cameras on display, boxes galore, clean, awesome staff. They even have a 10x10, 10x15, and 10x20 model unit right in the office! Was amazing since it was raining that day. When we were able to move in after it stopped raining TONS of room for our moving truck. Unit and property was clean. Ill definitely return if I ever need storage again.

I have only been with them a month but they were close to where I am staying. Anyhow when I moved they did mention not to store anything with a scent in your unit(to deter the rat issue) which to be honest Im not sure why you be storing these kinds of things in your unit to begin with. The staff was very professional, and competent. When I first moved in they even offered to see if I could return my Uhaul truck and car trailer there so I wouldnt have to drive to the other side of town to drop off the equipment.

The lack of rodent control is completely unacceptable. Two units (one in climate control and the other outside ) were covered in rodent feces.The staff claims there has not been a problem, however I have researched this and there are multiple claims of the same. Actions need to be taken by this property to get rid of the problem. I am quite displeased with the lack of attention being given to this obvious ongoing problem. We are documenting the value of items that have been destroyed. I would suggest that others do the same. I would not recommend this property and I will make sure others are aware of the problems there.

I have deployed (six to 12 months) several times while stationed at Fort Hood, and each time I have used LIfe Storage (store #544, 4201 Clear Creek Road in Killeen, Texas) to store my household goods and vehicles.I always returned to Life Storage because of the professional customer service from the managers (currently Belinda Ullery & Travis Mitchell), as well as the reasonable prices they offer compared to U-Haul and other storages companies in the Central Texas area.Frankly all Fort Hood Soldiers would be wise to use Life Storage as it is the closest to Fort Hood and not even a five (5) minute drive from the entrance/exit gate (near Fort Hood Stadium, Main PX, Commissary & Bowling). I am now retired from the military and still Life Storage is the place for me.Additionally, Life Storage is in an excellent location and many favorite places and cities (Copperas Cove, Harker Heights, Nolanville, Temple, Belton, Lampasas, Georgetown) are within walking distance or within a two (2) to fifteen (15) minute drive. My original reservation for a storage size was for a 10x15 but when I arrived it was inserted for a 5x5. There werent any 10x15s left so they offered a bigger storage size for less than the orginal one. I was very pleased with customer service and their ability to accommadate my needs. Not only that but they also gave me a trunk rental for 2 days. The storage unit was clean when I arrived. I would recommend Storage Kings to others.

This facility has no history of flooding and 24/7 security camera coverage across dozens of cameras on-site. I have an outdoor unit but they also offer climate controlled storage units, should you need them. Call Life Storage before going and theyll take a large discount off the initial processing fee (which wasnt all that much to begin with anyway). Also got my 2nd month free-- a current deal going on now. This all goes without saying they are very military friendly!
