I went to the U-Haul at 102 E Veterans Memorial Blvd to rent a trailer. When I arrived there was one person behind the counter and it took him at least an hour to get the customer out of the door. So, all this time I have been waiting and an hour passed. When Margaret finally appeared she didnt say may I help you or anything like that but did make some kind of noise and I said Oh, Im sorry I didnt know you were talking to me. Right at the time I walked toward the counter the phone rang and Margaret said well, I guess Im not helping you now and took the call. I have NEVER seen a more poorly run U-Haul and it is a wonder that Margaret is still employed there.
I went to this location for a truck rental and was serviced by Margaret. She actually was pleasant and not anything like her reviews. She took good care of me from start to finish.
It’s 6:20 a.m. on Saturday. Online it says for storage access time the building opens at 5 a.m. I had the pleasure of running into everyone’s favorite review topic, Margret at 6:02 a.m. as she strolled the yard aimlessly. She’s EVERYTHING EVERYONE has said. Rude to the core. I asked her why it was locked and I couldn’t gain access and she literally only repeated 7, 7, 7 we open at 7. No other words. Has to be the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. How she still has employment here is outrageous. It is clearly marked on the side of the building they open access for storage at 5.
This place is the most inefficient and worst facility ever. Took almost 2 hours past my reservation time to finally get hooked up for a trailer. Youre lucky if they manage to even hook up your stuff correctly. Would recommend going to any other location if they ever your rental needs.
The reviews are right, margret (spelled wrong on purpose bc she’s the worst) is probably the worst customer service rep i’ve had the displeasure of encountering. met with her on two different occasions and she was overly rude both times. just pick a different location, until she’s gone at least.
The star of the show, the woman at the desk, is literally the reason I was so hesitant to come back here in the first place. Black list this from your U-Haul locations if you expect to be treated nicely.
The lady named Margaret who works there is a miserable person and maybe should consider a new place of employment. Horrible customer service. Ordered a hitch install and called a few days later to check to see if I could move my appt up since it was over a week out, apparently they didn’t have the parts and if I had no called I would’ve showed up and been turned away. I called the evening before my a.m. appt and they still don’t have the parts - again I only found this out because I called once again and finally got ahold of slime one after a 25 min wait on hold.
I recently went in to get a hitch installed on my car thankfully, the price came out less than when I tried pricing online by myself. I first went into the Twin creek location and was told that they dont provide the installments and routed me to the Veterans location in which she polietly called the and got me a same day appt. When I got to my appt, I did had to wait, for two other customers walked in with me at the same time. Once I was able to get out of a 15m wait to get to the clerk the mechanic took about 45 minutes to install.If I may say, the veterans clerk was none stop hauling trucks. Within the hour time I was there, she was courteously walking each customer out to there reserved trucks and always moving in between customers working on incoming trucks.Like other uhaul services I am still very pleased with the service. This pass weekend I drove 300 mile to a camping trip site and had no problem with the hitch. I believe its mounted on pretty nicely! There is a huge uhaul sticker that I guess will be promoting lol yet cant beat the lifetime warranty it comes with!Thanks Uhaul!

Absolutely horrible customer service. The lady whos name starts with a M is very rude and acts like she hates her job. I thought it was just my experience however upon reading the other reviews it appears she is rude to everyone. Please retrain her as she does not deserve that manager title with her rotten attitude.
Took and extra hour to get to distnation truck over heated ty Lord we made it. They did give an extra day but there guy had to come to our home and fix truck before be could drop off .Then they gave us a 4 mile further out to drop off truck bull ... Not the greatest expereince uhaul. 🤔😒😜

I have been a customer of this business for about a solid year. I have 2 storage lockers (for the moment) and have rented their trucks before as well. While this is not the first time that I encountered the unprofessional behavior of the staff, it will be the last time.Staff refuses to answer their phone. And once you do get off hold (1½ hour waiting), I try to explain to the woman that answered the phone that there had been a mixup on one of my storage units autopay and to make arrangements to pay the bill. The woman rudely informed me that they didnt make the mistake and the rent and all fees were due immediately. I asked if I could do a partial payment just to hold the unit for 6 days until my next paycheck. At this point the woman hung up on me. I called back and surprise, I went straight to hold. I will be paying off the unit on my next paycheck (if they let me) and will be taking my belongings out and to a different storage facility, one that knows how to handle customers politely and one that will allow me to access my property whenever I want to.
Seriously? Waited in line for half an hour just to get the keys to the truck we rented. Extremely inefficient.

The staff here, I think her name was Margaret, argued with me about what time my rental is for. I have a screenshot of my reservation, instead of helping me she took time to call in to their corporate call center to make them say out loud whatever she had on on her computer screen. Very petty. They didnt mind renting me the truck I reserved right then, they just wanted me to say that I was wrong, I know what time I reserved it for and I had proof, they seriously spent more time arguing with me and making me jump through little hoops on my phone- and Ive rented from uhaul dozens of times, Ive never been forced to install things and upload things and give permission for things on my phone that Im not comfortable giving permissions for in my life- and this rental and this location was just such an unnecessarily horrible experience, I hope someone with the power to help this uhaul location get better will read this review and do something about it for the sake of the NEXT poor customer who tries to rent from this spot.

Very unprofessional they tend to just look at you when you walk into the store and not welcome you until you say something, very lazy, they take no initiative as far as helping the customer, you can clearly see that they’re there for a paycheck. I called and scheduled as reswrvation over the phone just to get there for them to tell me they only accept debit cards or cash, I assume that’s something you should say to the customers while on the phone, instead of wasting there time and gas. Stay away from this place because management is terrible!

Customer service is a joke. The manager is rude and will speak to you like a child and Im 45, go figure. Very demeaning and unprofessional. Rented truck and was not happy with its condition. It was dirty and even requested to have windows washed in and outside. Staff seemed clueless or just didnt care. One girl/guy seemed to be high. But was not happy with service nor the overall experience dealing with this location. I will use another if needed in the future. Final thoughts are the manager (Margaret) needs alot of social skills training.. Very arrogant, rude and overall condescending. They also need to have drug testing for employees on a regular basis........

Moved my stuff into storage 3 weeks ago, went to get some stuff out yesterday and there were german roaches and rat droppings all over my stuff. Having to throw away almost everything that I was storing.
Was trying to turn in a 5x8 trailer but the door to it was messed up. I drove in and who appears to be the manager was trying to hold conversation with me with a good 4 meters in between us, instead of walk to me (the customer). She *told* me they were full and to take it up to the next uhaul place. She went inside and I waited outside assuming she would come back with more explanation and direction. She didnt. The door to the trailer is still broke, and all customer service reps walk pass without saying anything. Maybe they were busy? But I felt pretty blown off. I decided to leave after awkwardly standing there, and take it upon myself to turn it in elsewhere.
Wish I could give No Stars! Female on the picture I guess her name is Margaret. She is so rude and will not even try to help you. I rented a small trailer and was told I had to return it to this location. Upon arrival Margaret took like 10 minutes before asking me if I needed help. I told her I was returning a trailer and she told me that she was really busy and it was gonna be a while. I looked around and there was only me and the person she was already helping. I told her that I would wait and she told me Well you better sit down because its gonna be a while. After a while she told me that I could go to another uhaul and return the trailer. I ask her if she was for sure and she told me yes. I went to another location and they told me that I had to return the trailer to the location I rented it from. I told them that I was told I could return it there and they ask me who told you that. When I gave them the name they were not surprised at all, to make the story short they went out of their way to help me and contacted someone who authorized for me to drop the trailer there. The name of the place which is right down the road is I think bad boy bail bonds/Uhaul rental place as well they are great people and will treat you very nice, unlike Margaret. I will never go back to that place again.
Let me tell you what. My experience with this location was the most horrible experience. For one they got a Girl behind the desk who absolutely will not do anything and pawns everything off on the smaller long haired guy. When I wanted to upgrade trailers she was very rude as that required her to do a little more work. After 2 hours of waiting to pick up my reservation. The guy hooked up the trailer to my truck wrong, so when I left the trailer detached from my truck going down the road on veterans blvd. not really a place you wanna be stuck at as the sun is going down with a stick trailer. My wife walked back to the store and they refused to help us get the trailer back on the truck. Then after I hooked the trailer back up and I finished the task I had for the trailer. I returned the trailer and parked it literally right in front of the door after hours. The next day I get an unfriendly phone call saying my return was late. I explained the trailer was right in front of their door and they accused me of trying to steal it I guess. This fiasco went on for about 3 weeks with phone calls and emails asking where the trailer was when it had been in their parking lot the entire time. Whoever manages this establishment should be relieved. No accountability, no professionalism.
Large military family DITY. Horrendous service. We tried to return the truck to this location per our paperwork. Womanworking refused to take the truck, because she said they were full. That is fine, but her attitude was a huge issue. She was condescending and rude. She refused to explain or help us find another place to take the 26 foot truck we had. She actually walked away from me while I was attempting to ask her how to return the truck. We will not be using this location for anything else.

The only reason Im giving this location 2 stars is because the gentleman named, Olalekan Owolabi. Im pretty sure hes new & tried really hard to help us out with renting a trailer. HOWEVER, he clearly needed some assistance from his boss yet she stood there being totally rude to him & laughing at him because he accidentally closed out or contract. Which wasnt a big deal. Meanwhile, she just stood there with 3 other customers in line & refused to help those customers. I dont know what happened to people being professional & using their lack of skills in customer service but this place needs to train their employees better & not laugh or be rude to them when they ask for help. I hope who ever reads this, lets Olaekan know that hes doing a wonderful job! And please release the one lady from employment. She was too rude. We were there for close to an hour and a half. Get it together U-Haul!!!
Four stars based entirely on customer service. Service Rep was swapped, but was very professional and friendly to everyone. Even reached out to other Uhaul stores to see if she could assist customers that had issues due to corporate making changes to reservations. Three stars for general review. Equipment was available as reserved, vehicles were clean, and trailers were good to hook.
Left my Drivers license there on accident last week. I was on my way to work and the guy called me to tell me I forgot it. I told him I would be back on my day off to get it. Today is my day off and I went back to get it and now apparently they don’t have it any more. The GM had no interest in looking for it. She just kept saying “we’re always cleaning up around here so idk what they would have done with it.” We’ll surely they didn’t throw it away considering it has my personal info on it. 🤔
Charged me nearly. 20$ more then they should have, tried to call and talk with em, I get put on hold for 20 minutes. Hanged up, tried to call again and immediately straight to hold. Again. I will definitely take my hauling needs in another direction. Good job uhaul on veterans memorial. Stay classy
Recently rented small flatbed trailer explain to employee (Alejandra)what we were needing it for and what we would be moving and she got us the perfect size and a really great deal she is very polite my experience with U-Haul has been good and I will definitely return to this exact location to rent again.

Great place to be at when it comes to moving business. It offers a one stop solution for the equipments and resources needed for the storage units, movement and I witnessed the employee helping the customer load their car on a car mount. The only negative side I experienced was a shortage in manpower that resulted in longer customer wait time.
Absoulty terrible customer service. The employee made us do the online reservation instead of helping us. The entire process to rent a uhaul truck is ridiculous. Very time consuming. I highly recommend just going to MAYO and rent a truck for a day its 60 bucks unlimited miles and take literally 5 minutes to get.
The woman who works on staff is extremely rude. Was obviously annoyed by having to help us sign in for our rental and was absolutely not helpful when asked questions about the contract. Very unimpressed by our experience

Rented a uhaul on Dec 15. Margaret Graham was the person who so called helped. She was Rude and didnt really want to help you. She kept saying you can do it on line. why couldnt she just help us since we were there. She tried to make you feel like you didnt know what you were doing. saying..some people dont read.She is so very unprofessional and need to be retrained on customer service. My husband a retired US army MSG. was very upset. He had to walk out. so I had to deal with her. Moving is already STRESSFUL BUT people like that makes it worse!!!!
This store and the employees there are among the reasons people HATE to come to this side of Killeen. Anyone reading this; go to the UHAUL located along the highway just before the Young Exit. They also do Hitch installations there. If possible i would give 0 stars. All poor employee performance is a DIRECT reflection on leadership, in this case the Manager.
Lady at the store was rude and passive aggressive made us wait over 30 minutes to check on what we needed and then she said I didn’t know what I wanted. Kevin was very slow and slothlike at his job and helping us and they didn’t know their own inventory. I was also told by the lady that the other employee wouldn’t help us the way they did and that he was very impatient. I have yet to meet him.
Terrible the whole staff seems uninterested and the wait is at least 15 to 20 min each time I came up there. I couldnt pay cash with out a 100.00 deposit The card machine failed so I had to wait some more for another register. The place isnt completely terrible there is room for improvement.

She spoke to me like i knew what to do. I didnt ask for help because of the way she talked to me and another customer. Made me want to leave. Customers up here are so dramatic. First time in my whole life I’ve ever experienced a busy environment but fast customer service. Fili assisted me with such passion and love. Margaret who is the manager of this store is absolutely a fast pace player. Everyone was busy around and they didn’t give any chance of waiting. Jumping from one computer to another computer helping customer. I understand they put y’all on hold for a good reason. They HAVE have to assist the face to face customer. Being rude? How? It’s because you don’t show gratitude of what they are doing. They are understaffed but they manage to assist each and everyone. Some of y’all say they rude because you can’t accept the fact of what they told you that is FROM their system. Really appreciate all the staff hard works. If you hear the manager or a co worker telling someone(another coworker) what to do pls do yourself a favor and keep your mouth close because they are working hard to assist everyone so they won’t complain about the waiting time because everyday is a busy and hardworking day. I know that fili tried to assist me but she can’t get access for my refund and that’s why she handle me over to her manager. I used the storage because it was cheaper than extra space storage but all my stuff got infested with crickets! Customer service horrible, they said they would see what they could do and get back to me on paying less than 145/month. They never got back to me so I moved my stuff out. Care free employees, the worst U-haul I have ever encountered. As for others comments, it is what it is. Some are correct ya cant fix stupid. Comments are for individual experiences if ya had a good one congrats! Overall it was a waste of my money and now all my stuff has to be sanitized! I have pictures of the couple hundred dead carcasses all over the floor when I have the unit back to them, I even told the owner I left the crickets for them to deal with.
I rent trucks from this location a couple times each week and I always get the same great service. All of the employees there are great, Ms.Margaret is my go to person but i have no complaints.
This is without a doubt the worst Uhaul Ive ever visited and I have a vast amount of experience with them since I rent one 30 times a year. They have minimal staff on duty and are not polite in the least. The building stinks and they have guys hassling you for handout in the parking lot. Ive had better experiences at a Uhaul dealer where the roof was caved in and leaking water, at least they were polite there.

I will not go back to that location ever really bad negative experience...my whole entire day was completely wasted because I really needed thats trailer and was a given a wrong because she can not focus ... instead she jumping around from one person to one person in the middle of transactions

I’m her at U-Haul again and Mrs.Margret is at it again all alone with a lobby full of upset people with more trucks to return then she can shake a stick at and she getting it done. I think she needs a service dog to comfort and protect her, or maybe he could take care of the returns so she can take care of the people in the lobby.!!

Front desk associates move at a very slow pace. They do not answer the phone when a customer (me standing in the store, calling them to see if they pick up) calls.
Wish the hours were longer to go get your stuff, not bad otherwise. Your stuff is secure and they have plenty of trucks. Yes usally they are understaffed, but its only a few minutes wait.

I have a storage unit I rent from u haul. I walked into the store to get a bottle of water because the water is free for paying customers which I am. The employee working said why did you grab the water I replied because I believed they were complementary, instead of correcting me if I was wrong he said we have a water fountain, but I did not care to explain to him that water fountain like the keurig they have was infested with bugs because he seemed very irritated that I had a complementary water in my hand. I asked if he would like me to put the water back he said no, we have a water fountain. He seemed very angry at me that I got a complementary water even though his pay check is written by paying customers because a business without customers is no business.I am very upset about how I was treated by the individual working and I will not recommend this place to anyone I know I will actually tell them to look for somewhere else because this is not the place you want to store your belongings and the management is not very good and keeping their customers their number one priority.
Took in truck and trailer after the one on rancier ave was closed earlier than yhe time posted. Theycame out to get the milege and inspect the truck. After about 10-15 minutes a woman comes out to tell me she cant take the truck and car transport cause she has no room. Mind you the lot was almost empty. Now she sends me to a third location im now driving around Texas for an hour trying to return a uhaul truck and a car transport cause the first place that was supposed to be open and now this plave has no room in an empty lot. They probobly didnt want to take it cause it was close to closing time. I go to the third uhaul location at central expressway in killen and finally they were nice enough to take back the truck. After driving close to 35 hours to get this truck to Texas.

This place is pathetic, they are over priced and basically do what they want to screw their customers. I had been a patron of Storage Depot for 2 years and absolutely loved them. They had outstanding customer service which is why I went back to them even though 40 dollars for a closet is about DOUBLE what you pay for anywhere else.Enter the new owners, Uhaul. They cut all of tthe old locks, with never notifying me and sent the key to the wrong address. Instead of notifying me of this or calling me about my address, they ignored it. Though, you best believe they called me after i got a new debit card and my autopay did not go through. I go in yo get some of my extra gear I keep there and lo and behold my key doesnt work. Of course, I come in after hours since I work during the day and why would I go to a storage place that wouldnt give me 24/7 access to my stuff. Called the manager, Travoris, and he had no answers for me. He was supposed to call me back, been almost an hour, wheres my call Travoris?This place is over priced, awful customer service, and will lock you out of your own property without do much as a courtesy call. Go anywhere else, youll easily get better service at half the price and probably none of the frustration.Needless to say, Im furious and will be clearing out this weekend. Im even going to look into legal recourse just so I can make sure this place loses money. Do not go here for any of your needs, that way you wont be sorry.

I have come to this location 3 different times, and every time I was disappointed. The woman at the front desk was very disrespectful and unprofessional. She also has no sense of time. I reserved to pick up my trailer at 7:30 because I was in a rush to pack things up and she had to bring in and inspect 3 trucks before I could get my trailer and I didnt leave with my trailer until 9:15.

In my opinion, good customer service is much more than a greeting and a good smile, but rather to make sure that the customer is satisfied with the needs and answered the necessary questions so that the client has no doubt that the money that she is going to invest is being invested correctly which Mrs. Margatte Graham does not know how to do well, she knows how to smile but at the moment of answering questions or helping the client to meet their needs, her smile turns into a horrible attitude I do not need to end up in a discussion that did not get anywhere as I ended up in another office where I did not have any of the problems I found in the hands of Mrs. Margatte Graham.
