My family visited this location a couple weeks ago, but the service we received was terrible. We were looking to get two of our front tires replaced, but the employees damaged one of the rear tires. While we understand that accidents happen, they attempted to conceal this fact instead of informing us of what had happened. They did not acknowledge this until we went out of our way to point it out to them. They were dismissive and unapologetic, simply agreeing to cover the charge for the tire they damaged. My father is not a native English speaker and they were able to use this fact to ignore his concerns. Due to their mistake, we had to get both of the rear tires replaced so that they would match, paying more than we would have needed to. While this experience was far from satisfactory, we were willing to let it go. However, as soon as we picked up the car and drove home, we noticed that the air pressure was uneven for each of the tires. We had to make another trip to the shop. It was then that we noticed that one of the nuts on the tire was missing. We asked them to replace it, but they refused. They did not apologize and they were again, dismissive of our concerns. They told us to go to a nearby hardware shop and replace it ourselves. They implied that what happened was insignificant and did not warrant any complaints. As an auto repair shop, it is their responsibility to fix any issues they caused. We have been longtime customers and many of our family and friends live in the same area, but the recent experience we had was overwhelmingly disappointing. I only hope that other customers do not receive the same level of disrespect my family faced.

Usually have a good experience here. And it all ended well. All I wanted was an oil change. And in an hours time. Was told the plug had broke off in the pan. And was told I would be looking at $1200 to fix it! 🤔 Umm what??! Car is barely worth that! Then it was down to $300+ for the pan that had to come from Portland! Needless to say..I was pretty upset. I may be a woman. But Im NOT that stupid! My dad was a mechanic.By the time they called me the next morning. They had fixed it and I only had to pay for the oil change.So..back in my good graces. For now.

Took in my car for an inspection due to it not starting. They literally told me they dont know what is wrong, take it to a mortar shop. Thought they were full auto care. On top of that they dont lock your vehicle after they do their job. It use to be a great shop, now it seems like theyre too cheap to hire professionals

I scheduled an appointment to get a nail removed from my tire. I believe they overscheduled themselves as it took over 1 hour to patch my tire. The manager told me there would be no charge for the repair. Much appreciated.

I think Paul is the manager here. If not he should be, I got a screw in my tire and he helped me out on super short notice. I have an AWD vehicle and they only had one tire for my cars size and he arranged to have others delivered within the hour so I didnt run any risks to my car.

Ive been meaning to get new tires for a while and this place gave us quite the deal on a new set.I dont think my car has ever driven this smooth, let alone without drifting a little bit.The Realignment they did really worked.Weve had the car realigned before but it usually drifts back to how it was within a couple weeks, so if anything changes Ill make an updated note later (though it wont affect the score because my car is a 99 model so its a bit old).5 Stars; will be coming back here for future alignments and tire swaps.

I do not recommend this auto place. The front desk did not ask me what oil change I wanted or price options. So they did the most expensive one and it cost over 70$, they said they also included a $15 off coupon from online which is bogus. Didnt like the customer service. He was not surprised at all that the other person didnt tell me options or prices. He had a reaction that made it feel like a usual experience. Disappointed and will not return.

I had a great experience today at Firestone. I called them as soon as I saw the flat tire and let them know I was coming. Daniel gave me a quote and all the info I needed. Paul helped me as soon as I got to the store, he was really helpful and my experience was so quick today! It didnt hurt that they give back to essential hospital workers! I will return!

I know quite a bit about working on vehicles. Ive always changed my own oil, brakes, spark plugs, Ive changed timing belts etc. So I know how to maintain my vehicle, I just Dont have the time to anymore. My only other experience with a Service Center like this was Jiffy Lube, I went in with a coupon, and they still somehow charged me over a hundred dollars for a basic oil change. It was your Classic bait and switch. You needed special oil and a filter and your filter is hard to access... After an hour of arguing, I paid and left, I had no other choice. My experience at Firestone was the exact opposite. Super friendly and up front. Didnt try to take advantage of me, they Didnt assume that I knew nothing about vehicles. They were up front and honest. $42 later, I got my oil changed including a $10 safety inspection (which I got because it was the cheapest way to get my tires rotated.) Not a bad price. The Service was completed ahead of schedule and they were super friendly. Ill definitely be Going back in the future!

So I bought tires from them “firestone” brand tires and they included “free” flat repair for the life of their tires which turned out to be a lie because as you can see in the picture I had a screw that was making the tire lose air so it had to be fixed for “free”. I was told it would take 2-3 hours and if the tire is “repairable” they will repair it under the warranty which turned out to be a lie when the rep called me to notify that the screw is “too close to the sidewall” so it’s not repairable and how he has a tire coming from the warehouse in which I have to pay “only” $17 to get it. Do not under any circumstances use firestone for anything, bad customer service, long repair times, shady way to sell you new tires, lies and more lies, workers are lazy didn’t seem like anybody was doing anything about 7 cars in the shop. Completely steer clear.

Dropped my truck off and placed my keys in the early bird drop, after I made an appointment the day prior. They sat around all day withy keys and said it was my fault for not writing my info on the envelope. They had no pen at the drop box to write with. They couldnt even balance my wheels and refused to be they blamed the equipment. They sat around with my truck for almost 8 hours and never decided to rub two of their brain cells together and look at the appointment list. Never going back here. That my first and last time trying to get work done here.

Went here to have my wheels balanced. Not sure if this was done properly because my steering is so bad now that it is impossible to know.Before taking my car here, I could let go of the steering wheel on any relatively flat road and my car would go in a perfectly straight line. It is something that I am somewhat neurotic about on all three of my cars.After these guys supposedly balanced my wheels, my car pulls so hard to the right that it is dangerous to drive. If I let go of the steering wheel for even a moment I am heading for the curb/shoulder/adjacent lane.Do not go here.Ever.Tell all your friends not to go here.Tell your co-workers.Tell passerbys on the street.Tell everyone.Do not go to Kent Firestone Car Care Center.

Came here for a brake inspection. They purposely damaged my under carriage and claimed rats were eating at it. Ruined wires etc. Just the day before I did an oil change and was under neath my car. That damage was not there.I was having intermittent electrical shorts after picking my car up. This problem was not occurring before I dropped it off. Please beware coming here for their free services.

Scheduled the car for a new set of tires to be installed 4 days in advance. Arrived 15 minutes early, agreed on the install cost and waited in the lobby. 90 minutes later after hearing customer after customer being apologized to because theyre ...too busy and do not have enough help. I politely let them know Id help them out by taking my car with my new tires I purchased already and let them get to other customers while I found a tire shop that can install my tires. This instantly sent the whole staff into a flurry with many comments to the effect they didnt know I was waiting for the vehicle. ...even though I was in their waiting room. 45 minutes later, I paid and received my car back. They couldnt find the keys. 5 more minutes and I got my keys back and they sent me on my way. After a circle around the car I confirmed the tires were correct, however they had tire grease all over the rims and the new tires. Too busy to clean up as well I guess. I took the car home and wiped off the grease for fear of waiting hours longer for the Firestone staff to take care of it. I will not return nor use any other Firestone in the future. I remind all others that this location is a tire center that takes a day to get tires taken care of. Youve been warned.

The location was under staffed resulting in an overly long wait. After I paid for the service and returned to my car, I found the AC vents sitting on my dashboard. The service technician neglected to replace then. I had to go back inside and wait again for one of the desk clerks to finish their phone call to let them know what had happened. Then I had to wait again for the work to be finished. Quite frustrating and time-wasting.

Husband called to see if we could bring in our car for a flat repair and was told that they could only do it if we dropped it off. I get there only 20 minutes later (the time it took to get from our place to theirs) and was told that they couldnt do it because they were too busy. Told the guy my husband had called and was told we could drop it off! His answer must have talked to someone else but after I told him Id gladly take it elsewhere he quickly stated that he could do it if we were just dropping it off...kinda like he didnt listen in the first place. Anyway, he said hed call when it was fixed. Dropped it off at 2:15. Fast forward to 6:30 and still hadnt heard from them so decided to come check. We get here and he searches around for our paperwork and then tells us that they couldnt fix it because we had used fix-a-flat and we would need a new tire. So here it is 20 minutes before they close and we are waiting for a new tire to be put on! So my question is...if we hadnt come in, would they ever had called us and would they have even fixed it? Now its 10 minutes past their closing time and still havent gotten the all done.

We have always had good service, fair pricing, and honesty from this shop for auto repairs, tires, tire chains, and auto parts. We do a lot of our own work and they have no problem telling us which jobs are best suited for a shop and which usually go well at home on our vehicles of various ages.

Do not take your car here!I brought my car in for service last week because of a check engine light. I was told that I needed to stop driving the car immediately or risk ruining the engine. They told me they would do the diagnostic and be in touch with me by late afternoon, but it was another full day before I heard back. In the end, they replaced two ignition coils and the spark plugs, and did an oil change because there was fuel in the oil. Every interaction I had with them carried a sense of urgency, as though I would ruin my car if I didnt okay the repairs.Since looking over the bill and talking with other mechanics, I realized just how messed up this is. They grossly exaggerated the severity of the problems I was having and made me believe that long-term issues were emergencies that needed to be dealt with immediately. I dont appreciate being scared into spending hundreds of dollars on repairs.On top of that, they charged me for two full hours of labor on top of the $100 diagnostic charge (on simple repairs that shouldnt take more than an hour combined) and more than doubled the retail price of the ignition coils they put in.When I went back in to ask for clarification on these charges, I was told that corporate sets all our rates. It doesnt matter how much the shop actually pays for parts or how long they actually spend working on your car--theyre going to overcharge you and then tell you theres nothing they can do to make things right.I will not be returning to this store--or to any Firestone location--in the future. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere.

Got an appointment at 2pm for front wheels alignment only. I was assured it would have taken max an hour depending on the misalignment level. I waited two hours and they aligned the wheels in 5minutes. I had to wait another half hour once the car was done before being able to leave. I also asked clarification on the charge for shop supplies when I saw the guy did not use anything more than the alignment machine. Obviously the boy at the counter could not explain it. I get you guys were busy but do not take appointments if you cannot manage the wait time. I am still at work to recover the lost time

Called Friday to ensure that I could drop my car off at 7 a.m. on Saturday. i explained that I would leave the car all day for a brake inspection and any work that needed to be done. I dropped the car off with no problems and was assured that everything would be done. I called at around 12:30 p.m. to see about the estimate only to be told that my car wasnt even in the shop yet. I got off work at 4:30 and arrived at the shop at about 4:45. the technician had just started the inspection on my vehicle. extremely sub-par service

When I had a punctured tire emergency 10 minutes before they closed on a Saturday night, the staff was kind and generous enough to stay late and help me. They were open and honest with their quotes, and when the tire ended up being unfixable, they didnt even charge me for any of their hard work! Avoid this shop at all cost. They will charge double for labor, perform service that you arent needed and charge more than double retail cost for any parts. If you question any of the cost they will tell you its corporates fault because they set all the prices. Soumds like, its not our fault because Dad said thats what we have to charge! So, go to Firestone only if you enjoy getting ripped of by your dad!

[should be 0 stars] Went in to get a simple oil change, didnt get my car back until the next day because I was told that they lost my key and paperwork. The man that found my keys and did my oil wrote on my paperwork that my oil change would be free and gave me a coupon for my next oil change to be free as well. When I talked to the manager Randy all he had to say was I wasnt here, I dont know what happened, but I doubt that happened, and then billed me for the work on my card without my authorization and despite the paperwork saying it was free. After years of being a loyal customer I am incredibly disappointed and canceling my card, never going back again.

No maintenance or repairs apparently during the week. If your job requires you to work weekends and you have to get repairs during the week, dont bother. I come in Monday because I have a coolant leak, Im no mechanic by any means but it seems like something that could be taken care of by someone with some experience. But no, the ONLY guy who can do the job isnt coming in for until Thursday!? dont know what idiots they have running this place but they must be the finest in Kent.

I feel like there is a trap in this location for fixing a flat tire. The story of unrepairable tire is there had been fix-a-flat in my tire that makes it unrepairable and recommends a new tire at $196. It took almost 5 hours for the technician to tell me that it is not repairable. So, I took it back to the dealership and the technician at dealership told me that it is repairable after cleaning out fix-a-flat liquid inside. It comes with $0 cost out of my pocket. So glad I didnt fall into a $200 trap for a new tire when my flat tire is unrepairable.

We had a screw in the tire but no dash light for low tire air pressure. Stopped in an hour and 10 minutes before they closed to ask for help and see if the would test for leaking air before we pulled the screw out.Refused to help us or even check to see if the screw actually punctured the tire by spraying sappy water and monitoring for bubbles.Do not come here expecting friendliness.

And now on a different day its snowing and its 7:10am and there suppose to open at 7am i need my studded tires put on so i can get to work... Ive been to this Firestone several times and had great experiences. Today I had a poor experience. To be fair, I averaged out the scores. Prior visits would have scored a 4 and 5, and todays a 1.I made an appointment online for my vehicle. I just wanted an oil change and an inspection. Late last night, a conflict came up at the exact time of my appointment. So I took the car in 30 minutes earlier than my scheduled appointment. I was in a hurry because I had to be somewhere soon, but when I went to the front desk, I was 5th in line. I thought, well, I could just leave my keys and call them since they have my information from past visits. While all the customers stood there waiting, 3 different employees came in. NONE of them acknowledged any of us. I expected a Well be right with you, or something like that, but nobody said a thing. I just wanted to leave my keys, so I stepped to the side and walked up to one of the employees who was busy looking around for something. I said, Excuse me, Sir? And he was rude and terse with his reply to me, Im with a customer right now. So I said, Can I just leave my keys on the counter and... and he interrupted me with a rude response (I mean, his tone was really rude), Nope. Youll just have to be patient.To some people this may seem like no big deal, and thats okay, you can have that opinion. But this is MY review, and its MY opinion that counts. This employee was rude to me, and needlessly so. I have no desire to return to this location.To Firestone: please acknowledge your customers when they come in, and especially if there is a line. A simple acknowledgement would go a long way. And second, there is no reason to speak to your customers in a rude manner. We can take our cars anywhere else, we dont have to choose your store. So if we do choose your store, at least act like you appreciate us.

Took a day and half to fix the flat tire. Don’t buy tires from them. They will tell you all the free perks you get like free flat repair, tire rotation and alignment. Once you make the purchase they will treat you bad to avoid giving you anything free.

My sister went here because it was the highest rated by her. They used scare tactics to get her to pay way more than necessary for replacing spark plugs (told her shed ruin the engine if she drove it home). Charged her 2 hours labor, 100% markup over retail price on parts, and said it was corporate policy... Very shady. Not my first bad experience with Firestone, so my advice is to steer clear.

Breathe in the stale coffee while some incompetent moron apologizes for their broken, empty promises.Imagine all the amazing things you can do while your car sits idle for 90 minutes after your scheduled time. Unimpressed with the service. The employees dont know how to be straight and honest with customers. Overheard the front desk argue with a Subaru owner that they cannot replace all tires due to tires being discontinued. They needed to say that AWD vehicles cannot have one tire replaced due to manufacturer design.Additionally I made an appointment twice, and both times the appointment was lost in their system.I asked to get maintenance and an alignment and one of the reps cut me off several times during my request to tell me theyre understaffed.The same rep also told me that he would get my car in, after some other customers were serviced. I was pushed back 2 hours. Then told I would still be gotten to. I asked for the keys at 2pm after I dropped the car off at 9:15 am.Several customers were worked on before my car, and I was the third person of the day. One customer told me they dropped their car off at 11am.The only service they did was move the car in the parking lot.

Zero Star. Horrible Place to take your vehicle. I had a 2000 Kia. I took my car there to replace a single stud for a lug nut. I was quoted $60. When they took my tires off they broke another stud. They wouldnt even take responsibility for it. They called me to see if I wanted the work done and it would cost $350! I told them that was ridiculous. They in turn told me I had to get my car of out there at cost to me!!! I had to let them do the work cause I had no choice. They really raped me!!! DO NOT ever go there unless you want to get raped.

Let me start off by saying if I had the option of rating this place as a 0, I would have done that!Terrible service, rude & unprofessional staff who is incapable of estimating how much time it would take to even get to your car. I had a flat tire and needed to get it checked and repaired. Came in Wednesday evening, they were too busy and asked me to come back. I dropped off my car saturday morning, stopped by saturday 6pm to pick it up. They hadnt even loked at it, let alone fix the issue. Came back sunday evening and the technician, Lincoln, told me he had way too many cars ahead of mine and blamed it on being short staffed and location manager, Randy, for over promising people and that the technician didnt get a chance to properly look at the tire. He put in some more air so tire is good.I was carless for 2 full days on a weekend and called mutiple times. Any given time they could have told me the wait time and not overpromised and not to mention, the tire is still NOT fixed. Good job firestone. You just lost a customer of 20 years!!

Avoid this business at all costTook my car to that shop at June 18th for a flat tire fix. Picked up the car at June 20th with huge front bumper damage(photo below). Yet the front desk and manager both denied they cost this damage, and refuse to make any compensate for what they did. Interestingly, they both argues that the damage was done by myself before I took the car to the shop. Well, I have my paperwork organized and I am taking this case to the court. This dishonest business should be shot down for their immoral behavior.

I got there wanting to get my tire fixed after running over a nail, the parking is limited so I parked in front of one of the bays to go inside to talk to someone, at that point, one of the techs yelled at me that, thats a stupid area to park in I tried to tell him why I was there and he said, well you need to go inside once I went inside the manager was no better, he told me that he had 10 cars left over from the day before and I could just leave it there all day and they might get to it, but that will probably still make me madder than I already was. Yes he actually said that. At that point I left and will never return, luckily the firestone in Covington is much more professional and courteous to the customers. Got in and out in 2.5 hours

I called on Friday for an oil change, they said sorry we are busy throughout the weekend but if you show up monday early morning we will take you in, which I did and again he said sorry Im busy the whole day.I looked around the store it was no truffic ????!!!! I will never go to that store again

Not impressedOne time took my car (worth less than $1000) in for oil change and they had huge list of over 4k stuff needed to be done which was mainly bogus.If just getting new tires or oil change they are OK.

This is the biggest rip off. Repair a car for $844 but did that fix the issue no, I had to even call Corp because they decided to try and rip off a 19 year old kid I know. Then they say they cant check the car for 2 days and whined about the review they got saying how it hurt them, Does it end there, nope. So the kid takes the car back in, guess what they say, you still need another $452 worth of emissions work (the car is past the years requiring emissions work) But does that end the ordeal, of course not. I get several texts from this friend telling me how all of a sudden the car is having issues starting up. There was no issue with starting until we brought it to them. Now we had to cancel a trip and I have to go deal with these clowns again. Anyone know the number for Jesse and care to voice your complaint with us?
