Super nice people, Conner was at the front desk as well as another person but I didnt catch her name. Both were helpful. The shop couldnt repair my issue due to the manufacturer requiring specific tools. They did a safety inspection and didnt charge me for it or for the diagnostics since they couldnt perform the fix! Would highly recommend them, only thing that was a drawback besides not having my car fixed was waiting 3 hours for them to tell me they couldnt do anything. Not their fault tho. Otherwise everything was great!

Without question the best shop I have ever been in. The staff as a whole are incredibly helpful and their work is top notch. Prices are reasonable and theyll help you stay within your budget. Well never take our vehicles anywhere else, ever.

My Ford Explorer needed a new water pump which they did satisfactorily but they billed me for a full synthetic oil change but ....I had brought my own oil, thus it was a false charge on the bill. I called them on that error when I picked up the vehicle, they admitted the error and issued a Credit for $40 which I accepted and paid the bill. On the way home, the Battery indicator showed low so I investigated and found that the tech had failed to reinstall the connector to the alternator.That error should have been discovered on their test drive, not something that a customer should have to discover and correct.Since that time I have taken my business to a different shop and no longer wish to deal with Central so I went back and asked for a cash refund of my $40. The current Service Managers declined, saying that the owner will have to give permission but that he only stops by on occasion and that they didnt know when he would be available to OK the refund. Ill give them a couple of days for the owner to respond but I am expecting another song and dance in an attempt to avoid doing business right. (interaction date: 7/12/21)This is not a business that operates honestly from my experience in dealing with their Service Managers.Follow-on Edit.I stopped by the shop today, 7/23 and received the amount Credited at the time of bill paying as promised. I am satisfied with the outcome and thanking Owner for taking the time to respond.

Im a woman and I dont know much about cars, so I always used a dealer.However, while the Lexus dealers look polite at first glance, they are always arrogant and say something that makes me feel uneasy because I dont really understand the car. But in Central, that wasnt the case, it was kind and polite. I was impressed that the finished car was washed clean and vacuumed. I had a very good experience. At the same time, I think I should have come to Central sooner. Thank you very much.

Everyone here is extremely helpful and kind. Eric specifically worked on my car and gave me a comprehensive list of everything recommended with price breakdowns and urgency. He let me know what things to do to fix the issue and what should be my next maintenance to get done. He also washed my car right before I picked it up and was very communicative about every aspect of the process. They do not try to trick you into spending more money and dont pressure you into getting anything done that you cant afford at the time. My Mustang is running better now after their service than it was when I first bought it a year ago. I am genuinely extremely happy with the whole experience. Eric turned a scary process into an extremely comfortable one. Thank you guys so much.

Blake, the owner, walked me through the likely causes of my 5.3L V8 high oil consumption problem and recommended a strategy of incremental repairs and part updates to permanently fix my problem at minimum cost. Completely fixed me up, kept me informed, Ill be back.

Shop was very clean and the techs were very clean and treated me with a level of professionalism I dont usually get being a female. Its obvious these guys care about the quality of their work and use top of the line diagnostics with quick turn around time.

I have went here 2 times in hopes of establishing service long term. Sadly I must say after the 2nd visit and same issue, I am not confident. The first service about a year ago was for an oil change and a coolant light that kept coming on. They did oil change and told me there was no issue, however, the next day the coolant light came on and stayed on. When I called about the issue they told me that I could come back and waste more time. I trusted and went back a year later for my annual oil change and service, still expressing that the coolant light was on. This time I left with no concerns from them, however, coolant light still on and the system wasnt reset so it still says my car is over mileage for service! Doesnt leave me confident that the service was even done. Now I will have to take my car to Mercedes to get a diagnostic test of what has really been done. I called re the lights on the second visit and again they suggested that I waste more time coming back!

They send you an electronic quote once your car has been evaluated and call you to discuss it.They can shuttle you back home or to work depending if the address is in the service area.All around a very good experience here.

Car looks fantastic! Better then when I bought it. I got the best interior detail package with the basic exterior wax for around 380. Well worth the money. I had dirt and dog hair and God knows what else inside my car. Now its spotless.They did have to keep my car an extra day but it was well worth it. I am very pleased with the job. Wish I did a before and after.

I spun out during the snow/ice mix in Jan. Im new to Kent, and my tow driver recommended Central Automotive. I called an asked if they had room to take my truck. Connor was sympathetic to the situation, and got me in same day. He even offered me a ride back home. The follow up during the repair was exceptional. I got follow up phone calls, and the inspection of the repairs needed digitally.If I ever have to get a repair again, Central will be my first choice, and Ill recommend to everyone.

I recently had my daughters car in for new struts and had to return a couple months later for noise I heard. They explained the issue and took care of the repair! This place did an amazing job! The inside of my car has never looked so clean, and they gave me some free attention on the outside as well, mainly near the wheels (they needed it). AWESOME!!!!!! Konnor was outstanding and his customer service was impeccable. It is a breath of fresh air to know there are still a few honest auto repair shops out there!About a year ago, I performed a DIY repair to replace the heater coil and the air distribution box... Note to self: NOT the smartest idea for a weekend-warrior! After putting everything back together, the heater worked great but my traction control light inexplicably came on causing my cruise control not to work.After a year of scratching my head and pouring over every YouTube video known to man, I was resided to the fact that the culprit was most likely the ABS clock-spring, Steering-wheel Sensor, and/or a bad PCM - all of which would cost thousands of dollars to repair.With a long road trip looming ahead of me in the mountains of Eastern Washington, I decided to give Central Avenue Automotive a try. I met Konnor and explained my predicament. I told him that I was 100% certain that I knew what the problem was and that I had resided myself to the reality I was looking at a costly repair.As Connor drove my old Jeep into the garage bay, I sat there and waited nervously for the pending bad news. 15-minutes later, Konnor appeared from the shop with a smile on his face and said, Your Jeep is all done! As it turns out, one of the sensors needed to be reset... The total cost of the repair was $0!I would be remiss if I didnt also mention the technician (Howard) who performed the work on my vehicle... He was great! Howard picked up right where Konnor left off. He subsequently replaced my rear brakes (that had 97,000 miles on them), gave me a tune-up, changed the oil, and seemingly checked out every nut and bolt under the hood.From start to finish, this was hands-down the best auto shop experience I ever had!

I have never experienced such a bad repair shop in my life (as I was refer byAAA)It lost my lock lug nut and I needed BBB intervention to get the replacement from the company. In addition, it could not repair the battery issue which was repaired completely by another repair shop w/o problem.This shop does not have competent mechanics so that it is only qualified to do a simple repair like changing tires.

These guys are great at answering my questions. They send out a detailed inspection report including pictures. They dont talk down to me because Im a woman. I definitely recommend them.

My experience with Central Ave Automotive was a very positive one. They got my vehicle a (2010 Land Rover LR4) right in and gave it a thorough diagnostic check of my air conditioning system and timing belt. Timing belt was reported to have no obvious issue and a leak was found in the air condition system. It was repaired and serviced. Total cost of my visit was $371.00.I would highly recommend this automotive repair shop to others.

I can’t begin to say enough good things about this place!! The entire team is fantastic! We took our 2007 F-150 in with a few issues. A couple were very noticeable and one major issue that would take some work to replicate the issue. I’d done my research and shared with Lindsay(rock star) what I thought the issue was. And she was extremely knowledgeable. We had an after market warranty company that isn’t the greatest PRco, they can be difficult to work with and want a lot of information. However The Central team persisted and worked with me to get things covered. In the end we needed a new engine and they provided us with options and knowledge to make the best decision. They stuck to their timeline and 100% transparent with pricing. I was treated more than fair. From start to finish they made this process less stressful and even offered a loaner vehicle if needed. They will have our business for years to come. Thanks again Team you all are amazing!!

Normally don’t write reviews and this is the first time. Made an appointment for an oil change here because central avenue auto had good reviews. Dropped off car 9am for appointment. Called back around 11am for status and was told oil change has been performed but system is down. Came back at 12pm to find out that they couldn’t do the courtesy inspection. Total price for synthetic blend was 63.07. Charged me a 7 dollar disposal fee which they didn’t disclose on initial price. Was given 10 dollar coupon for my experience. Overall the did the job but I won’t be coming back here for an oil change in future.

It’s not often that you find an honest shop. I was impressed with the service, they took pictures of My brakes and rotors and my drum him to show me that there was actual damages. My car drives new again and I will be going back to get all my services done in the future. They also had the best price around, an amazing receptionists who greeted me by name and explained everything in terms I could understand.

Thanks to the 50pt inspection and the complete transparency of the auto shop I wont be taking my business anywhere but here. First time i have ever seen an auto shop send you text alerts from the mechanic with a full analysis report detailing what they found wrong with the car along with pictures of everything that they say is wrong with the car. I had previously had all my belts and spark plugs changed at another auto shop only to find out from central automotive that they didnt do any work on my car and took my money. Central Automotive is FAIR, COURTEOUS, AND BY FAR THE MOST TRASPARENT AUTOSHOP I HAVE EVER BEEN TO! :)

I have a used car, I knew there were a few issues with it when I got it (used car) but I hadnt been able to get it looked at till this last week. The great staff at Central made this an easy experience when I called to set an appointment they worked within my schedule and asked if I would need a ride after dropping off my car. The person interacted with most was Lindsay who listened to the concerns I had about my car and asked if there was a budget I had repairs; the next day I had an inspection report with pictures, received an estimate for the work and I was able to prioritize the most important things first; while I have a few more things to get done the car (subaru outback) has never driven better while Ive owned.I will be returning and fully recommend Central Automotive.

My car had a few issues that made it kinda scary to drive. Had taken it to a different place before, they had it for a while, replaced some parts, said it was good to go and by the time I drove it home the issues were happening again. Did a google search and saw all the good reviews so I called Central Ave. Everyone was supper friendly, they understanding my attempts at explaining my cars issues, and made sure I understood what they were gonna do and charge before actually doing anything. They had my car for a few days, gave me their loaner car, no fees or charge, and when I got my car back it was even washed! Its been several days driving my car and its running perfectly, no issues whatsoever. If I ever need anything done, this is where Ill go and I recommend it to everybody I know.

This is my first experience with Central. I was visiting with Blake about an oil leak in my Toyota T-100. He took a look and while we were discussing how to fix it he noticed that the radiator was leaking a little and told me I should check it out. Later that same day, yes, the same day, my radiator cracked along the top and blew out!I called Blake right away and he helped me figure out what to do from there. He priced out the repair while I was waiting for the tow truck to come. He ordered the parts so they would be there first thing in the morning. They checked for any damage before the radiator was installed and then ran further tests before to make sure the engine was good shape before I had them repair the oil leak and a few other things.Blake and John and Jason called me for approvals before any work was started. They followed up with updates and estimated time of completion. They gave good, sound advice with options; very professional and straight forward. Had me on the road in record time, Straight shooters, reasonable prices, great service! What more can you ask? I highly recommend Blake, his staff and technicians!!

The only shop I take my Jeep to. The fine people here have taken care of me Everytime I head in and are always more than happy to answer all the dumb questions I have for them. Ive been to this shop probably 4 to 5 times between my two vehicles.

Dont go there for general maintenance on a car. I spent about 1000 dollars for some transmission and brake fluid and tires. When I looked at the receipt it was about 330 for parts and almost 550 for labor. i could be wrong but I think thats a bit outrageous for price. Seeing how I know that they get mark up on price for parts ridiculous. Major issues I trust them but routine maintenance something is off. I also had a coil replaced in my Honda it came out to 700 dollars. No transmission drop were are talking about not even an hours worth of work.

The staff at Central were very courteous. They told me exactly what needed to be done with my car and gave me a good and fair price. After having priced shops all over the area they were the most honest about what needed to be done and at the best price possible. They got the work done fast and accurately so I could get back on the road quickly! Thank you Central for all your hard work! :-).

Brought my truck in to get the heater fixed. I was given a quote stating the head gasket was blown and they highly recommended an engine replacement for $11,000. I took my truck to the local Ford dealer. Replaced my air mix actuator and flushed the coolant system. A year later and still going strong. Dont trust Central Automotive.

Jason was amazing and very honest. Hard to find that with a repair shop. My car was repaired and done well. Brought it in with a MASSIVE valve cover gasket leak. They repaired it and got me in fast. They also were honest in letting me know it’s time for a new car. And that shows how anyone can bring in a car and they won’t try to make you spend the money if it’s not worth it.

I contacted Central at 11am to let them know I needed a new set of tires. Within an hour I had an appointment time, and the work was done by the end of day. Very pleased with my experience.

I had my transmission replaced in my 08 accord and I had no issues after and were super quick to get it back to me and did a good job and took really good care of me when I got my tires replaced on my charger
