I would definitely use this repair shop again. When my car wouldn’t start, I had to have it towed. I dropped the car off in the parking lot and placed the keys in the drop box after 9pm. I took a classic car (1985 LINCOLN CONTINENTAL) to LONESTAR because the AIR CONDITIONER / CLIMATE CONTROL had stopped working. LONESTAR had been recommended to me by a neighbor that had 3 vehicles worked on there. The team at LONESTAR identified the problem with the CLIMATE CONTROL but were unable to find the rare replacement part that was needed. I found the part via some classic car club connections and LONESTAR installed the part. Now the CLIMATE CONTROL in my CONTINENTAL is working better than it was when I purchased the car. I recently moved to TX and needed a inspection. The service was fast. Muhammad, was great and the price was really good. I will be going back for my other car services!

This was the worst experience I have ever had at a mechanic. I spent almost $500 and then 4 days later had a smoking battery that was extremely dangerous situation. And i had to get a new battery at O’reillys where the guy that worked there explained what was wrong and was way more helpful and did it all for free. But this place didn’t even bother to tell me the battery was smoking and that I needed a new one. And I only had spark plugs and coil replaced for almost $500 is ridiculous. They take advantage if you’re a female alone and not knowledgeable about cars. I was completely railroaded. I’m furious.

TLDR: Dont go here especially if you are not sure what issue your car could be having. They will make things up and have you replace unnecessary parts and get the most money out of you.Dont go here! They will try to rip you off. I came here with an AC issue. I have done some research and troubleshooting before deciding to take my car to a mechanic. My AC compressor works intermittently and I know for a fact that is not bad. The guy hooked up his AC machine and automatically said you need a new compressor, itll cost you a $1000.I wanted to get a chance to explain how the AC works on and off and that the compressor is not bad, but I was not successful as the guy was so determined that I needed a new compressor.Paid $20 for nothing pretty much.Then spent more time troubleshooting and found out that I have a locked up AC Clutch and it just needed to be cleaned up. Cost me about $20 to clean it up, so I guess I saved myself $980!!!

Since i moved to Katy i have had some trouble finding an honest mechanic. Im from out of state but i have experience in working on cars. When i went in for a routine oil change elsewhere, i was told i needed $1,700 worth of work and fast. I knew it wasnt accurate. I came in to this shop near the end of the day and talked to Joe. I didnt tell him about the other shop but i mentioned i may have this problem and Id be interested in having it fixed. He checked it thoroughly (which i had already done personally) and he told me there was nothing wrong at all. I asked if he was sure and he said yes, i dont steal money from people. You dont have a problem but feel free to come back if you need any work done in the future. Rarely do you see such honesty with a mechanic. He could have easily taken my money because i told him I came there willing to have the work done. That must be why this shop is packed with customers when i drive by. Integrity like that is hard to find in this industry. This shop is further away for me to get to, but ill make the drive knowing I can trust these guy. Thanks Joe, you just made yourself my go-to-shop for all my future auto work.

Mo is great! He does the work quickly and well. Our son had to leave his car all day for repairs. We were worried about him getting to school and our schedules, but Mo loaned him his own truck so we wouldnt have to worry! He also beat another shops price by $600, did the same work and showed us everything. Hes always honest and fair.

By far the most accommodating auto shop Ive ever been to. If its not broken, they wont tell you to fix it. Most shops will have you spending money on issues that arent even present, but you would never know. They are very reassuring and communicate very well. Youll know what exactly the problem is, how they will fix it, and how much it will cost shortly after arriving. The prices are excellent. I literally have zero complaints. This is the only place I will go to when in Texas. The customer service is always excellent as well. Welcoming, energetic, and ready to have you driving safely. They have complimentary coffee and a tv which makes the wait almost nonexistent. Come here!!

No respect for customer service at all. I purchased brake pads in NOV 2016. The very next day they started making noise so I took my car back and they changed some parts saying that it was fault and giving me an impression as if they were doing me additional favor free of cost whereas I paid $ 350 for this in first place. Anyways, they gave me a 12 month warranty for brake pads and associated issues. Last week, the brakes started making noise again so I went back to them for inspection. After checking they told me that the rotors needs to be changed and advised me an extra $ 400 bill. I didnt argue and went for more opinions from other repair shops. I had the brakes inspected at Firestone and Toyota DonMcgil. Both said that when the brakes were installed first time the repair shop didnt resurface the rotors which a general practice and now the brake pads are also wearing out a lot quicker. I went back to these guys with printed report and the owner simply refused saying we dont do resurface its a bad practice and in addition he said I have 30+ years of experience and no one does resurfacing of rotors not even the certified car dealers. To that I said, I have got same opinion from Toyota and he just started giving weird responses leading to no support at all and there I am with a new bill for new brake pads with rotors resurfacing. All those who had good experience I am sure they must had good experience and they are honest but I am also giving an honest review. Please make sure before you make big spending on this shop.

Ive been a satisfied and grateful customer for many years. The staff is impeccably honest and sincere. They always deliver on schedule and never try to sell you anything that you dont need. Word to the wise; listen to them about preventative maintenance. Since I came to trust them about prevention my annual costs for vehicle service and repair have plummeted. I took a car for a bumper to bumper inspection on Friday @ noon and they told me that they call me when the car is ready in about 3 to 4 hours, around 5 pm I did not received any call so I call them, they told me that the car was not ready yet, I decided to go over there before 5 and surprisingly they did not touch the car yet. The manager told me that they were very busy and he really want to do a good service, so I decide to leave the car to pick it up on Saturday. It suppose they will call me, and guess what, no calls on Saturday @ 10 a.m., I called them and they did not work on the car yet because the technician did not show up to work that morning, so I went over there and I took the car to Firestone in front of them and they charge me $30 instead of the $95 that this guy was trying to charge me.

Worst consumer service experience I have ever had. Saying the guy was extremely rude is an understatement (the one with tattoos all on his arms working the front). The guy is a scam artist. Went for an alignment, seemed pretty nice when it came to get me to spend my money. When I got the car back it did not seem like they had done anything to it, it pulled to the right more if anything. I went back to ask them if they could please check my car out and he just started going off for no reason telling me they were extremely busy and they could not attend my car at the moment. I asked them when was it a good time and he just yelled I dont know, another day!. The mechanic that was with him was actually trying to help me and even said he would take a look at my car and the guy with the tattoos cut him off and said no. He told me that their was no warranty and that once it was off the lot that was it, and that i had bad tires. Funny thing is took my car for an alignment because I had just gotten all brand new tires and I needed one so my tires wouldnt start wearing out unevely. He continued making excuses to try to get rid of me until I did get tired and left. So basically I got ripped off. This is a warning to everyone to NOT do business with this scam artist. Save your money and go somewhere else, hell make you have to spend more in the end.

I took my vehicle for a simple inspection and they must have thought I was a fool because tried to tell me I needed new headlight fluid and that I needed my brake fluid flushed. I couldnt believe it, they were very blatantly tried to rip me off. I wouldnt recommend this place to anybody. After I told them that they were crazy for trying to rip me off they became very rude and angry and proceeded to make sexual remarks at me and said vile and repulsive things. They even talked about doing crude sexual things to my children. DO NOT GO HERE! and if for whatever crazy reason you do end up here DO NOT LET JOE WORK ON YOUR CAR. He is a absolute creep and will RIP YOU OFF! I called and complained to the manager and he laughed at me and called me an idiot! I took my car in last week for an oil change, tire rotation, and to see about a thumping in the tire. I suspected I needed a new strut. Joe was very nice, and he found that I only needed a bolt on the suspension torqued, and I didnt need a new part. I appreciated his honesty on that. However, his mechanics are quite sloppy. They didnt properly tighten the oil filter, and oil ended up pooling all over my garage. They also didnt fully push my hubcaps back on my tires. I took my car back when it leaked so much oil, and Joe had his mechanics inspect and clean the engine within 30 minutes. He said that the oil that came off my car was just residue from the oil change, and he said they checked the oil levels, and everything was good. However, when I got my car back home, I checked the oil level myself, and it was definitely low. I have no idea if they tightened the oil filter properly now. The engine is nice and clean, though.Ill have to take my car to a different mechanic to get the oil re-changed, just to make sure its been done right. I also doubt the quality of the work done on my suspension, since a simple oil change was botched so badly.

I find that most are generally distrustful of mechanics, and I am one of the same sentiment. I am well versed in the auto business, and often know whats wrong my vehicle and what needs to be done before hand. Upon finding this particular shop, the workers were genuine, attentive, told me what Id needed, and got straight to work. I especially thank Andrew, as he made sure that what Id needed was taken care of and he and his team began working quickly. Theyve got a customer out of me if I need anything. Their Their service was very appreciated.

I shopped around Katy to get my brakes done and asked for their quotes on labor. I talked to firestone but they seemed they were charging me way more so I called Lonestar and the man on the phone was really nice to me and gave me a really good price. When I went inside the guy at the front took me in and took care of everything. He offered me water and coffee and was friendly. I didnt wait long to get my car back so that was a nice thing. They did a good job on my car I have no problems and I will definitely be coming back. I really recommend coming here the prices are good friendly people. Great work!

I let my daughter go to this place after she got her four new tires to get an alignment. They ended up telling her she needed other work done to the car I believe they replaced rods. She ended up paying over 200.00. two weeks later I took the car back her car was pulling to the sides the owner rudely told my daughter he remembered her and that he was booked for the day and to call back on the next week to see if he could see her car. one week later we took the car back again he was very busy and we were told to come back at a later time. the following weekend I took the car to another shop I figured hey it will get an alignment and that would be the end. The technician at the other shop stated he could not perform the job because the tires were torn and needed to be replaced. It turns out the extra work they did at Lone star was performed by a person who does not know what he is doing, he left parts loose and a rod was scrapping the tires. One of them was to torn it had the treads coming out. THIS IS THE WORST PLACE TO TAKE YOUR CAR TO. when I tried to talk to owner I was told nothing could guarantee the we had not taken the car elsewhere and that the damage was done due to negligence on his tech’s part. the whole thing cost me over 500.00 and if I had waited until this guy would see the car my daughter could have had an accident. WILL NOT EVER GO THERE AGAIN!!!

My car had AIR CONDITION problem.They charged me $20 for diagnostic fee and told my car need to replaceCompressor,condenser,dryer becauseMy car was 10 year old.They told it would be the cost $1200 to repair the A.C. problem.I called the car dealer to find the real cost and they estimated the cost would be $2400 to replace compressor,condenser,dryer.I drove to the other car repair shop.They charged $65 for the diagnostics fee and told my car need to replace only compressor relay .The part and Labor cost was $65.The total cost was $130.I agreed the cost and requested my car AC repairing.Now my car has the excellent ACfor one month after repairing.Lone star Auto Repair was trying to cheat me.I will never go to this shop.

I have been going here for years. I had a break problem they were working with me patiently on my Infiniti G37 that kept making noise. Even after replacing pads and rotors there was this noise that kept annoying me. Turned out to be a defective rotor. We worked through the problem to my satisfaction which I really appreciate!

There are 2 short guys in the office, one called Mohamed and he is a nice guy, the other guy is also short and have tattoos on his arm (I think they call him Jo) he is scam, stay away from him. The workers are good and they do good job

:WARNING WARNING WARNING: !!!!DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!!!!!!!!This place is dangerous and could have killed people. Went to have fuel pump replaced and paid $800 for this service. When i recieved the car back could smell faint smell of gas but thiught it was because they had just worked on fuel pump. This was around Thanksgiving filled car up to travel to see family and gas just poured out the top of the tank everywhere I’m talking gallons of gas coming out from their fuel pump repair at top of tank. Told them what happened and returned car and they said everything was corrected and off I went. Again could smell a faint smell of gas and i filled the car again and this time took a video of gas pouring out from fuel pump repair. Took it back and they admitted to never even dropping the tank to check the first time but assured me they had fixed it this time. Drove off and the next day truck stopped working with same fuel pump issues. Im never taking my car back again and am now out $800 with a vehicle i now have to take some where else to repair properly. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE !!!!!!!!!!!

My kiddos car was having issues with half the a/c buttons not working. Apparently the electrical​panel was melting. They identified the problem quickly and thought the price they charged was fair. We dropped it in the morning and had the car back by mid day. Oh and they pointed out that our radiator cap need replacing (it was literally falling apart). I bought one for the auto parts store next door and they put it on. They were friendly and fast.

LIARS!! My husband and I brought our car in to get brakes done. We were told one price if we provided the parts, we agreed. When he went to pick the car up he was told it was that price times 2. We said well you said $139 for everything. We were told he meant $139 for each side... well say what you mean next time so the customer can have the decision to go elsewhere! Long story short, My husband and I are new to the Katy Area because of his new job. Our van needed an alignment so I drove down the street and stopped at the closest Auto Repair shop to the house, which happened to be this one, I was told my brakes needed resurfacing. I JUST BOUGHT new brake pads and resurfaced before driving down to Houston two weeks ago!!!! I told them I couldnt afford it right then but would come back in a week or so. I will not be taking our vehicles back there ever again, they could not have been more misleading and untruthful. The man that looked at my van was clearly trying to take advantage of my lack of knowledge on cars as a woman.

The whole family has been coming here for years and we have only had the best customer service. Joe is great with all the cars and doesnt try to sell anything extra to us.
