I took my car there to replace a stolen Catalythic converter. Chris helped me through the process and was very nice and straightforward to us with pricing and everything. No surprises and no hidden charges. We needed to take the car to California during the weekend, and he understood our urgency and got the car fixed the same day. This place is really far from where I live, but its totally worth it. Excellent service and very professional.

Absolutely recommend this shop to anyone in the Katy area. I had a bad rattle in my exhaust. Took it to another shop and they said I might need to order a whole new exhaust but wanted to charge $100 to diagnose. I brought it here and they had it on a lift in 10 minutes. Turns out it was just a missing nut on the muffler hanger. They fixed it in 5 minutes and when I asked how much I owed he refused to charge me. AMAZING. will definitely bring all my cars here in the future!

Big shout out to Roger!I went to another shop very close to my house only because I didn’t want to drive far due to my Ram 1500 overheating.(Otherwise, would of went here). They said I needed a new water pump, thermostat, and serpatine belt. They quoted me around $850 for parts and labor which sounded sky high to me .So I went to O”Reilly’s and bought all the parts for $180 and took it to Katy Exhaust Pros because Roger told me over the phone he would only charge my $250 labor to install everything!Saving me a whopping $420, awesome!!So I get there, Roger takes a look at it within 5 minutes . He tells me it’s the thermostat housing, it is cracked/leaking. I go to O”Reilly’s and buy the $20 part, Roger puts it on in 15 minutes and only charged me $40 for everything!!Roger and the guys at Katy Exhaust Pros are the most honest guys around. They saved me lotsof money ! If it wasn’t for them I would of got cheated out of 100’s of dollars !

Chris was excellent. He reviewed my 2008 Toyota highlander exhaust issues and advised that I might not have to do anything. Gave me some suggestions as well. Not many places you will find an auto guy who will try and save you money. I gave my review as soon as I got home. Will definitely get my repeat business and hopefully yours too. 6 stars!

Well, they got me in pretty quick and did the service right away so there is that... and honestly, I should have done my research instead of going off of emotion but here is why I rated them poorly. $350 for a muffler, install, and resonator delete.I should have known when the technician just kept throwing numbers around instead of actually doing math but what can I say, I was excited about a new exhaust.I gave the guy an audio to listen to to help reference the sound that I was going for (exhaust pros plus). He really had no input on if I should go with a straight pipe, muffler, glasspack, etc... I ended up making the decision to go with a muffler... after it was installed, it sounded almost the same as stock go figure... maybe sounded like air was getting through with less restriction but the deep throaty sound i was looking for was non existant. We then decided to take off the resonator ($100 extra to make the total 350). Came back and it sounded reasonable.Paid up and looked under my truck and the workmanship is very poor. No attention to detail of the wild or bend of the exit pipe. Pipe to muffler is crooked and the exit pipe is just lazy work.After speaking to a car buddy of mine he referred me out to numerous other places with better workmanship and way better price. I should have done that from the beginning.I hope that my experience helps to shed light on the fact that you should do a little more shopping around and be a bit more transactional in you purchase and less emotional.

Excellent service

Went in get new tips welded. Chris said he noticed the tips were not level with one another. Sure enough they weren’t. Told me it would be 150.00 total. 25 for each tip and 100 to level out the y-pipe. Made the mistake of not checking out the car before I paid because I was in a hurry. Noticed the tips were still sitting completely uneven. Still, not bad for the price and quick turn around time.

This is the place. If you have a problem, theyll fix it. Fast and friendly. If you have a problem with them, then youre the problem.

I stopped in to see what it would cost to get the noice from my exhaust fixed.The gentleman greeted me which I didn’t get his name. He asked what was the issue, then took my keys and went to check it out. I sat down for maybe 10 minutes he came back and said all done. He to my car back fixed the broken bracket and wish me a nice day....No charge, I will be going to this shop for all my work. As I was just looking to get an entire exhaust done on my car and truck. These guys were recommended to my wife on several occasions, and I fought going in because I didnt know them and had another mechanic that I trust. When that mechanic fell ill, my wife took our Honda in for an issue we had already been charged $320 to fix (and that the previous mechanic completely failed to fix). Roger took the time to listen, fixed it promptly, and basically validated what we already knew. He didnt even want to charge us, but we insisted on giving him something. Youre making a big mistake if you dont go to these guys first. We will next time.

I had to get a wheel stud replaced due to neglect at a local tire company. They refer me to Katy Exhaust Pros Plus to get it replaced. I walked into the office, and was not greeted in a friendly manner. The woman at the front counter was curt with me. I hand my keys over, and after that was ignored. I waited outside of the shop to talk to the mechanic, and he completely ignored me. Chalking it up to me being female, I called my father to help. By the time my dad got there, the mechanic had finished and walked away ignoring us. The rude woman inside the office came outside barking at us, saying we need to be mad at the tire company not them. I said that we wanted to ask a few questions, and she directed us to go into the office. When I asked her my questions, she hands me the paperwork and said I dont know, I dont deal with that. OK...so we go back outside, and finally the mechanic answered our questions. Once we finally got our questions answered, we were fine. The customer service is horrible at this establishment. I usually go to another shop a few down from this facility, and am used to courteous, respectful people. This place is the polar opposite of that.

Very nice people! My muffler had fallen loose and I went to get it fixed. Unfortunately they did not have the part and told me I would need to order it from the ford dealership. The nice man did a temporary fix to keep my muffler up and didn’t even charge me. The next day I took the part I had ordered and they had it fixed in 10 min and once again, no charge. I did not expect such kindness and I was so appreciative because working and going to college is hard and the last thing I needed to happen was something with my car messing up so the fact that they made me feel less stressed about everything really made my day. I highly recommend this place!!

Quick and affordable. Roger is amazing and really nice and honest! i had been quoted at AutoNation Ford for something that needed to be done(almost 1800 in repairs) and turns out it was a LIE i brought it to roger at katy exhaust pro and turns out it was only a $50 fix and it only took about a half hour if that to fix. i now only bring my car here to be fixed

These guys just totally made my day! I drove up, and he actually stopped what he was doing to work on my issue right away! My 56 Belvedere was dying on me constantly, causing me to either not want to drive it, or to feel constant anxiety over trying to drive it in traffic . He diagnosed and got me adjusted, sending me on my merry way, saving me $$ and making me the happiest girl on the planet! I will be bringing it back in the near future for more work, as these old cars always need something done! I highly recommend this place! Thanks guys!

You get for what you pay for.. or dont get i should say.yes the owner/manager is friendly & they have good prices but i had to get sturn & request money back or they actually fix my window since it still wasnt working (owner finally did) so thats just 1...2. i was shown & told that i had wiggle room in my upper ball joints (come to find out are connected to control arms so this too would need replacing) but i was NEVER told this from exhaust pros so i assume the work was done, months later as im getting my tires checked out & this past weekend.. theres still wiggle room?? which now i assume i paid for work that WASNT DONE..3. my lower ball joints were squeaking BAD, i take it to exhaust pros TWICE.. o they just need to be greased every once in awhile.. doesnt sound right to me but ok? each time after theyre greased the squeaking gets worse.. & then im told when getting tires checked out i have bad ball joints?4. i continuously asked about my back brakes & how they look at little worn & torn. do they need replacing or can we remachine the shoes to save some life/money & replace the other parts. all i got back was o you still have some life on em you should be goodAnyways.. a different shop & MORE money than expected later... my truck is FINALLY taken care of properly.. thanks for nothing...

This place rocks. Took my van for exhaust work. Guys put my van on the rack. Showed me what was wrong. Other muffler shops wanted to put an whole exhaust system on. These guys cut the muffler flange off and wielded a new on and it was fixed $110.00 Omg thank you so much. I recommend this place.

Ive never met Roger but his actions showed me there are still good and honest people in this world. I dropped off my wifes 2013 QX56 at his shop due to an error code stating that I needed to replace my bank 1 catalytic converter. I was already sold on going to his shop from the other reviews and the price he quoted me over the phone. So upon dropping it off I received a phone call from him about 15 mins later explaining to me that I should come back and get the vehicle and take it to the Infiniti dealer. Turns out the vehicle was still under a manufacturers warranty for that specific component so the replacement is fully covered. He could have easily repaired it and billed me for it and I would have gladly paid the bill and been on my way but instead he was 100% honest and saved me and my wife a good chunk of cash!! If I ever need a repair done that falls within his line of work there will be no doubt in my mind Ill be going to his shop and I will be telling anyone I know they should as well. Thanks Roger!!!

I took my girlfriend car into Katy exhaust pros plus after being referred to them by discount tire. They replaced 2 wheel studs on the car and after a couple of days I had to take the tire off and 2 wheel studs needed to be replaced. one that they installed and a old one. They claim that there impacts cant tighten over 80lbs. in which the correct way of tighting down lug nuts is with a torque wrench that way you cant go over the recommended torque for the lug nuts. when I called the guy at KEPP he didnt offer to look at the car to make sure it wasnt the lug nuts which they replaced. The only reason why I came there was discount was paying for the repairs. And not to mention after they was done with the car the guy that was working on the car backed the car out and when I got in there was sweat on the steering wheel. What a poor way of doing biz. I work on my own cars to make sure they are done right. I will never return to Katy exhaust pro plus...

I have no idea what their workmanship is like, I never made it inside the place.I called, while at work, twice with no answer (11am), thats fine, maybe their in the shop. Left a message with no return call. After 2 hours of waiting, I call again, this time some hillbilly answers rudely, hello!. I reply, is this katy muffler shop?. He replies ugh yeah!. I say maybe you should say that when people call you. and hang up. 1 minute later, this bumbling retard calls me back asking me if I have a fing problem...to wich I reply yeah you should have customer service lessons.Wrong guy...guyI will be writing bad reviews wherever i can and telling everyone within ear-shot to avoid this place like the plague. You cannot expect to get new customers from phone calls, if this is the way you treat people.
