Mercedes provide outstanding customer service! Jorge Garces was exceptionally helpful. Getting new car never easy but he made it stress free and very enjoyable! I’m looking forward taking my new car back to them for service. All other dealerships on maui should really take a note from Mercedes, it’s one place where you will get excellence both in service and finest German engineering machinery.

It is very unusual to ALWAYS get perfect service from any business, and unheard of from anything to do with your automobile. EXCEPT when you work with the fine folks at Mercedes Benz of Maui. Whether it be the service department, the floor reps, mechanics, support staff, email reminders (I could go on and on) we always get the best customer care. They make everything so seamless and professional and dont get me started on their product. Perfection on the road. We are customers for LIFE and will never buy another car anywhere!!
So disappointed again. We have three business vehicles needs service, but we have been treated like a cheap bicycle owner. Attitude of those two behind the service desk is more than terrible. Theyre keeping cars in there for hours without letting us now its done. See below, the original price for the part which they wanted to replace and the cost of this part on Mercedes website. $112.02 is the part, MB Maui service wanted $1,504.82! $1,392.80 in difference!!! JD MAcias told me we have a choice to not proceed with the service. But there is no other MB service on Maui. Be aware Maui Mercedes owners, theyre pulling your leg!
The entire process was easy - no hassles, very pleasant and helpful people. Hank Raposa and his team did a great job for us.First service after one year and it was a great experience. Two hours in a comfortable lounge doing email and other productive work. After service A was completed I got back a car well tuned and clean inside and out - thats service.Second service was another great experience. Got a 2016 C class loaner, service was perfect and when the car wash was closed I received a car wash pass for the next time I am near the car wash. John was courteous and well organized. Another 5 star experience. This is a great customer oriented dealership and a great automobile.

Wow! $1300 for parts that cost $300 from a mainland mercedes dealer.Of course things are more expensive here, but 4 times more? Really? Ended up ordering the parts from a MN dealer and had them shipped here all for under $400. Disappointing that I cant take my cars to the Dealer that sells them. Also Labor on this particular job was quoted at $1500 and ended up costing me $650 at a westside repair shop.

After moving my GLK from Portland to Maui, I had my B-Service done by Mercedes-Benz of Maui. I needed a loaner for the duration of the service. I was astonished to receive a brand new GLC as a loaner. Thank you Douglas for a truly amazing experience, both for the service and the loaner.

My wife and I purchased a new GLA 250 about a week ago. The experience was very pleasant and Chris Blyth was an exceptional salesman. Our purchase was transparent and very easy. I am from a time, that, with changing fluids and incidentals, automobiles lasted forever. Enter computerization and short MTBF design and those days are pasted forever. Accepting these facts helps more mature folks deal with the current reality.That being said, after moving to Maui full time, and after Smileys was over worked and Werner Emde died, we switched from Mercedes Benz to BMW. They had the best service on the island and didnt have very many units out. BMW still has some great techs and has a nice facility for Maui on the drawing board, but, for the present, still having BMWs and also coming back to MB, Mercedes Benz of Maui, seems best equipped to handle the volume of vehicles they have on the road.As they have been for the most part with BMW of Maui, the contacts we have had with, Doug, John, The Tall Gentleman, and Jerry in the Maui Mercedes Benz Service Department have all been exemplary.I am still waiting for an Orange County Fletcher Jones type facility for Maui ;)

On Tuesday, October 13, 2015, sometime before 11am, I took my 2004 Mercedes ML350 to the service center due to a problem with it shutting down after it has been running for a short period of time. I explained to the service manager(John) that the problem started a little more than a month prior, and it seems that after the vehicle has been running for a period of time, it shuts down and unable to be started right away, but after about 20-30 minutes, the vehicle is able to be started again without any problem. John said ok, well check the battery to make sure thats not the problem. I told John that I didnt think the problem was the battery because of the symptoms, and that even thought the vehicle shuts down, all the lights, instrument panels, power windows and basically all electrical systems still functioned. John said ok, well check it out. Later that day, I received a call from John saying my vehicle has an after market faulty battery based on the tests they performed. I then again reiterated to John the symptoms the vehicle had, and that the vehicle never showed any symptoms of a dead battery every time it died, that after the vehicle cooled down, the vehicle had no problem starting back up again, so how could the problem be the battery. John replied that because the battery failed the test, thats where they have to start. Having trust in John that they would make sure my vehicle would be working fine even after changing the battery, I said if you believe thats what you have to do, go ahead and change the battery, but I sure hope my vehicle will be working fine when I get it back. I picked up my vehicle early the next day and paid $269 thinking everything was fine. Im less than ten minutes away from the dealership so I was able to bring my vehicle home ok. Then while driving home on Kaahumanu Ave. in the afternoon from Kaahumanu Shopping Center, my vehicle shutdown while I was waiting for the traffic light to turn green at the intersection of Kaahumanu Ave. and Mahalani St. It was very embarrassing needless to say, and it caused a whole lot of traffic because it was one of the busiest times of the day(4pm-5pm). I called John, he apologized and told me I needed to call road-side assistance which took about 15 minutes to finally get through. After I got off the phone with road-side assistance, I called back John due to my concern that the shop would be closing soon and what would happen when my vehicle gets towed there when theyre closed. John said the tow driver will know what to do. I also expressed to John that my family was with me and we did not have any way to get home. John apologized again and said were closing in ten minutes. At that point I was already very upset and rather than say things I would regret later on to John, I hung up. After about 1 hour of being stuck on Kaahumanu Ave. I was getting more upset that the tow truck had not arrived. The police were even pressuring me to allow them to call the tow truck for me and it would be a lot faster. Then realizing how long we had been stuck, I thought the vehicle should have cooled down by now and decided to start it. It started without a hitch so I drove it all the way home. The next day, I decided to take matters in my own hand. I Googled the symptoms my vehicle had and to my surprise discovered over twenty postings with the same problem with the Mercedes ML350. I stopped reading after twenty so Im not sure exactly how many other postings there were, but 90 percent of the postings said the problem went away after changing the crankshaft sensor. I then called an auto parts store and luckily they had the part. I changed the part myself and this is the second day, after changing the crankshaft sensor that Ive been driving my vehicle without it shutting down. I even drove it for over 2 hours straight just to be sure the problem went away, HALLELUJAH!!!, it DID NOT shutdown on me at all. I cant believe Mercedes could not solve the problem even after repeatedly telling them the symptoms. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!. I would not recommend going there.
