Great place to rent to own furniture and items like

I brought in my registration for my car as proof of residence or something, and I forgot to grab it on the way out, as soon as I realised I forgot it I called and a woman said she will put it up, I came by about 2 weeks bc I work late and its hard for me to get there before they close... I drove by and they acted like they had no idea what I was talking about, all they wanted was there money I was on time, I ended having to take a day off work to get everything fixed with my registration. I will never purchase anything from your store again. Thanks for trashing my registration. I returned my item and bought one for 1/10 of the price anyway. I appreciate what yall do for people that can afford to buy things without payment arrangements, but the lying is awful and very unprofessional. Could have just apologized?

The store on S Roan was much better the staff is somewhat nice unless God forbid you forget to stop by and pay they will hound you and my family has been a customer of theirs in multiple states this particular store needs to take some customer service classes

No selection and very poor customer service.

Prices on the furniture bought right out is not terrible however there are multiple items here that have been used and some possibly buy more than one person that they are asking prices close to what a new item would cost not only that they want to finance it and they want to finance it at a high interest rate so my advice go there to buy used furniture straight out at a little bit cheaper price otherwise I would shop somewhere else

Great place me and my wife come to this location all the time. We are from kingsport, the head manager really good dude. He let us know about all the furniture he had and what was coming and what to expect. Great place.

Rent a center laughs in the face of the poor and ignorant. If youre reading this stay away from debt and live within your means. You can do better!

These people are absolutely terriable I signed an agreement for a new washer and dryer set and when they show up 3 days after they were supposed to be here..... it is the most beat up looking washer and dryer I have ever seen not to mention they didnt work.... so they took them and were going to being me another set one again they no call no show I have to keep calling and calling I had left work early and everything so one again nothing they find ally show the next day with another set.... the dryer worked but guess what the washer was busted and started pouring water out the bottom so here we go again then about a minute th later they call and day my payment is going to go up because someone wrote it up wrong these people are nothing but a terriable headache and the most unprofessional people I had ever met I asked for the store manager to call me repeatedly and of course I would never get that call so now that I have bought a new washer and dryer and need theirs out of my house of course they cant come for a week

Best place to rent from

I have had nothing but a bad experience since I purched a Couch and t.v from them about a year ago. They blow up our phones the day the paymnt is due starting at 9am before you even have a chance to pay. They come by your house looking for you if its a day late. I have honestly about told them to come get my furniture several times. I have never not paid them and they act like I am a horrible customer. I WILL NEVER DO OR RECOMINED ANY ON TO THEM!

Horrific. Been to other rent a centers who were kind, and friendly people who care about customer service. But this place has ruined rent a center for me all around.

As long as you pay your bill on time they will never harass you! Merchandise is you get what you pay for.. and the staff gives the respect they are given.

The one complaint I have is Corey. She calls my phone on the day its due with a smartass attitude. I always say I will be in later this evening and when she says 4 I say no it will be later she gets very hateful. You all are open till 7, and if you dont like being there till 7 quit! I could understand if I was late on payments, but I have never been late!

Terrible customer service and wasted my time waiting around for delivery after they rescheduled. Not a happy customer at all. This after transferring from the other JC store because of their terrible customer service! Smh @ Rent A Center!
