Not a pleasant experience. I went there to add extra line to my account for my kid who is starting school this week. I had my own device. Before going there I spoke to Customer care and they already ordered a SIM card for free with fee activation but that might not arrive in time before school starts. The rep told me to go to T-Mobile store and get my phone added and activated. I was told that there is $65 charge to activate one phone line which is totally insane. I promise to never go back to this store. No one charged $65 to activate a phone.
Michael Sierra went way above and beyond the extra mile in terms of providing me with attentive and accommodating customer service. In addition to being an excellent mobile expert he is a fantastic teacher since he was thorough, precise and concise in verbally explaining and also writing step-by-step instruction in computer operations. Michael was extremely patient with me as I consider myself to be computer illiterate. Every single question and the slightest detail were deeply explored with me. In conclusion, I only have outstanding adjectives to describe Michael Sierra’s phenomenal customer service:absolutely attentive, accommodating,patient,thorough, precise, meticulous, and knowledgeable - an exemplary professional not only as a mobile expert, but also as an expert computer teacher.
I had an excellent experience with Kiera when I stopped by last month. I had done my research prior regarding in trading my phone (for a $400 credit) but before I even before I could mention that, she was already looking at the paperwork to make sure I would get the best deal possible—- that’s informed, phenomenal service right there! She answered all my questions, broke down my payments for the next two years and had me out of there 45 minutes! The most expedited, painless experience I’ve had to date! Thanks again!
Went a couple of times and had really good service. Today was a different story. Not one ounce of descent customer service. Could not answer one of my questions. « That’s how T Mobile works » and « Well, I’m telling you... » were her favorite lines. T Mobile, do better. In the meantime, I’m taking my business account with all 6 lines somewhere else.
Pathetic business strategy by@TMobile. Their seller gives you the promo offer which promises to give you a lower rate plan and new handset. After the activation of the service, their customer care executives denies those promo based on some silly reasons. I am mugged by Tmobile. In the promotion they offered me a trade-in and rebate for port- in. They sent me a faulty device and after follow up they asked us to pay in full and denied the promotion benefits. Also their executives and managers are quite rude and do not call back. Also they do not willing to solve the issue caused by their executive.
Michael was amazing and extremely helpful! Gave me the best advice and was very informative. On top of that he was very nice and pleasant. Every time I go there I will ask for him.

I had an appointment and still had to wait 20 mins (Thats alright), after spending half an hr with t-mob executive they made me spend extra $ taxes due to product unavailability at store.Worse is he got my order wrong and cant unduo it. Called store to change the order. Manager took my number and said he’ll call back in 10 mins but nobody called.Waste of time and efforts, Worse T-Mob store in Jersey City. All they are doing is rushing customers and messing their ordersMess up my day and money.
Spoke far too soon: I had a couple of positive experiences with Rua but have now concluded that shes worse than the other pathetic dregs of society working at this T-Mobile location: she lies to see you stuff that she knows wont meet your needs, then ignores you. In general, avoid this T-Mobile location: theyre rude, lazy, deceitful, and disorganised and either dont know WTH theyre talking about or outright lie.

Sadly, Rua is worse than her coworkers: she can be v pleasant and knowledgeable but also lies to sell you stuff that wont meet your needs and then ignore you when you come in to complain. Avoid this location at all costs!

The employees are unprofessional. They even don’t know What they are talking about. They almost never get your problem solved. Really got sick of this service. They told me that they have an offer for iPhoneXS max and they never said that it’s a trade in offer they said you can just add a person in your lane and get $750 discount for the second phone and Me and my friend really waited for 2 hours to take our new phones.Then when my turn came, I-spoke to an employee then he said it was trade in offer. Then I was like, hey bro listen you should have tell me before now I wasted my time 2 hours waiting. T mobile and their offers really sucks. And employees are very bad they don’t know even what offers they have in the store it’s a shame. It’s better to invest our money somewhere else where you get real benefits and good customer service. Do not recommend them in them in the least bit, not even if they were the last chance.
Had the worst experience at this store location. Rep named Muhamed messed up a simple process of a jump upgrade. Had to come back again to speak to Shadi and the Manager Sebastain and received the most unprofessional service. Ended up paying $350 and basically was left with no choice. Terrible customer service. You guys should really own up to your mistakes and give some type of credit to the customer for the fault which was caused on the account by one of your employees.

Very poor customer service. I spoke to a customer service rep over the phone and they told to go to the store and have them do a BYOD. The associate refused to do it because he said my new phone was already in the system, which it is not and he kept twisting words saying that I wanted to insure my phone. He then said to me I have been doing this expletive for years bro, so I know what I am talking about. Very unprofessional I just got frustrated and I left the store.

Terrible service, the employees are liars, they try to upsell you. Scam you and lie to you and the manager Belayeth doesnt even help. He just repeats back to you policy when its their mistake. They need some serious coaching at this location and more training on how to help the customer not just try to embarrass them.

BEWARE!! They open new phones boxes to take out chargers/USB cables and re-seal the boxes to cheat customers. Theres not an option for a negative amount of stars. I would gladly give that.I switched to T-Mobile at this location and was given a promotion of a free phone. Which by the way revvl plus is the worst phone Ive ever owned.However on my statements it says I owe $200.00 for the phone so 9 dollars a month.How do you owe $200.00 for a free phone? I mean Im no rocket scientist, free still costs zero dollars in this country right? I mean I realize trump is president but its still not bizarro world where up is down down is up and Superman is evil right?To top it off. Rude customer service members at customer care (yah Im talking about you you inbred hick from Texas) tell me they cant honor it the store has to. The journal square T- mobile store is the worst store that I have EVER visited. They dont have any type of customer service and only care about opening a new line. If you have any problem with your actual phone, they wont help you. My mother went to the journal square store because she had an issue with her phone. The phone was getting extremely hot and turning off by itself. She currently has the Samsung s6 and the sales representative literally told her to go to metro pcs. All she wanted was the same phone in exchange for one that was working properly. The sales rep insisted for my mother to do the jump and my mother did not agree because she did not want a different phone she wanted her Samsung s6 so they sent her to metro pcs.. I will never in my life visit this location nor will my mom including everyone that I know. And I will make sure of that.
Why the tmobile reps are always in a rush and rude is never understandable. Their job is to serve the tmobile customers...so if they cant do that in a courteous and respectful way, then they should think of switching careers/jobs.

Rude customer service and are not knowledgeable about the products. The store manager was very racist towards me and did not want to help. I was paying for an iPhone upfront and he told me they had none in stock and werent sure when they would be. He wasnt even willing to get it shipped to the store, just wanted me to pay the shipping fee to be delivered at my house! He was rushing me and wanted me to leave.
