Scammers!!! Find a new uhaul company. Charged me for a ‘’small dent on bumper’’ that didn’t even happen. They do the fake hospitality so you don’t document the vehicle and then make things up. If you have to use them record everything.

I moved to Jax recently and this was the place for me to return the truck and other equipment. The staff & Ms. Cassie are amazing. She helped me with all of my storage needs and returning equipment plus included jokes that I needed after a long drive. This place is family oriented & clean. Excellent customer service.

Uhaul in general is a terrible company. But this is the second time i have showed up to a uhaul location with reservation only to be told there is no truck available! Terrible customer service! Will start leaving bad reviews everywhere under uhauls name if someone doesnt call me to set this right.

Cassie is super helpful and does a great job.They didnt have the truck we needed, in the timeframe we needed, but she found a location that did.

Everything was great, except customer Support.

On yesterday I had my flooring in my apartment done.I needed somewhere to store my furniture until they were finished.I was told that if I brought the truck back on a quarter of a tank that $45 would have been taken off.I did that.When I called this morning Josh told me that it wasnt on a quarter.He also told me that hed sent pictures to my phone.I informed him that I hadnt received any photos.I also told him that I have a video of my dropoff.He told me that I could talk to the manager that comes in at 11 and show her the video but he couldnt do anything.I didnt ask for the lie of getting $45 off if I brought it back on a quarter of a tank.

Horrible. Worst experience ever. The staff is not helpful, especially the manager.

The truck we rented had extremely hot 🔥 air coming out underneath the glove box area on the passenger side. My brother literally got 1st degree burns on his legs it was SO hot. When I returned it & told them about it, I wasnt even offered some sort of discount off the total rental price which is the LEAST they couldve done in my opinion. But to be honest, once they were informed of the situation, I really should NOT have had to pay for that rental AT ALL with it being in that condition!

After having a bad experience with budget the other day I went to this uhaul. The manager was nice and the associate helping me was so nice and went out of his way to make sure I was taken care. Definitely made my moving day less stressful!

When I arrived, the person behind the counter was very helpful and assisted me in loading all of the moving materials I had purchased. Covid-19 safety was in practice. The whole experience was very positive.

I have used the services of U-Haul a few time over the last three decades. This was the most organized, clean and pleasant location I have been to! Mr. & Mrs. Smith were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Anytime I have to use U-Haul again during my stay in Jacksonville, I will go out of my way to do business with them.

Chris Carmichael is a wonderful manager at this U-haul location on Atlantic Blvd. He went up and bond for me today. I had rent a 5X7 storage and to find out that didnt have enough room for all my stuff. So it was closing time but the didnt mean anything, helped me switch to a bigger storage without any problems at all. I really appreciate everything that has done for because I cant lift more than a gallon of milk due to the fact that I just had open heart surgery. You are the best Chris Carmichael.

Front office lady was extremely rude and condescending as soon as she answered the phone in stating that well we just opened NINE minutes ago. I understand, I can read clocks. Youre open at 9 Meaning you start taking calls at 9AM. I understand that you answer the same questions repeatedly, I also dont rent a uhaul every day, so I dont know some simple questions. Sorry for my stupidity.

Wonderful staff! Had a issue with the UHaul 24/7, waited 20 minutes for someone on the app to approve my pick up, the gentlemen (I forgot his name) working there told me to come inside and he had Rita check me in and get me all set and on the road. The 24/7 app is a pain, so I suggest just checking in with the amazing staff at this location. Thank you for making my move easier and thank you for going out of your way to help me.

I had 0 issues while I was here.The auto-pay was easy and it stopped when I moved out.I rented a trailer my last day (online) with them and J and her husband A (the owners) had me hooked up and ready to go in less than ten minutes.The owners strive for great customer service. I saw a lot of employees and all of them were fantastic. All in all an easy 5/5!

Great storage facility with helpful staff. I have used this place twice now to help with my storage needs. The facility is kept clean and there are carts available to assist with moving large loads from the vehicle to the unit. The climate controlled units are nice but the non-climate controlled area is still kept at a reasonable temperature.

Easy and fast service. Staff was thorough and polite and the store was very tidy & clean. Thanks for helping with the move!

My husband and I hadnt had our stuff stored here for 7 months before it suffered from MOLD/MILDEW DAMAGE (in a climate control unit, no less!) I never take leaving a one-star rating lightly, but in this case, it is well-deserved. Normally, a business would apologize and do whatever they can to make it better. The staff did not do that here. All they offered was to lease another unit to us and give the 1st month rent-free. The building was found to have pipes with a slow leak and evidence of water damage on the ceiling throughout the building, indicating water damage. The day we moved our stuff that survived to a new storage facility, the staff wasnt very helpful at all. I will be fair and say they did give us 10 free boxes and 1 free thing of bubble wrap. We had to buy extra after that. They gave us grief about throwing our damaged stuff away in their dumpster (I understand it cant overflow, but it caused us and the movers we hired to have to take the stuff that wouldnt fit there to another dumpster to throw away, just more work and no support). One of the employees also got in an argument with my husband (who, I admit, started it, but we were both frustrated). Just not very professional behavior, and overpriced for the quality of the units. Where we have them now is cheaper, newer, and better quality (I hope). If your own belongings are currently stored here, I highly recommend that you go check on your stuff, make sure that its okay. The 1st and 2nd floors smelled funky...

Awful! Guy that worked there was extremely rude! The computers were down and he was treating people horrible for trying to ask what was going on. One young black male was there for an hour trying to turn a truck in. He needed to be at work soon. The guy working there yelled at me for asking him if he had to wait. Totally embarrassing. We were there for over an hour trying to pick up our reserved truck. The lady was nice and apologetic, however the guy working there was a jerk.

The parking lot is ridiculously small... I had to illegally park in a handicap spot just to go inside to find that the attendant was nowhere to be found. I stood in there for a solid 10 minutes yelling for someone, I finally went outside to leave and an attendant came strolling up. Once we finally got everything sorted out and done with I found out our ridiculous price... 19.99 seemed so awesome! Then the .99 per mile was added on... we had to drive a totally of 60+ miles to retrieve our new couch. The attendant was rude and mumbled everything resulting in me gettin frustrated and having him repeat himself. We got to the part of the agreement for gas and I was told it would be 4.25 per gallon... thats ridiculous! We were desperate to go get our couch and needing a vehicle to do it so we took the keys and got it over with. The vehicle was in good condition and the couch fit perfectly but never again will I use this company. I am beyond blown away with how poorly I was treated and how insanely priced it was. Never again.

Should be 4 Stars but theyre just so darn likeable. Corporate messed up my truck reservation, they sent me off in a beater... Anyway, worked out better in the end and they have excellent customer service.

At night, it was pretty well lit. Except when first entering a hallway. You have to take a step or two into darkness to get the auto motion light to activate. And the road is pretty narrow for the larger size trucks.

I was in need of a uhaul bad but because of the weekend and Easter Sunday, other uhaul stores were closed or too far away. The Male staff member working was extremely nice and the small uhaul that I rented didnt burn much gas. With the insurance and milage, I believe I ended up paying about $50.

I will for SURE come back for any moving needs I have ! Owners are amazing to work with, honest, fair and realistic. One of the best customer services I’ve had!

Hmm i walked into your store asking for a storge unit. It dont matter where i live or address . They refused to rent to me cause they didnt like the address. Church st as apartments too lady. So i gave them another my gf lives . They still wont. When i asked they both looked at each other. Hmm thats find i will contact corporate too

Someone has been using my email and name to make U-Haul reservations at this location without my permission or knowledge and it turns out that the GENERAL MANAGER mistyped her email address for a customers reservation and has been using MY information. I would hope that someone with as much responsibility as a general manager could check their information and not use a personal gmail account for business. How outrageously unprofessional!

Excellent staff very helpful truck had engine trouble at pickup which lasted the whole way, but made the trip successfully.

Not a good experience at this Uhaul company. I would not recommend renting from them. The other storages cost a little more but better service and flexibility. If you are 1 day late (even though you have a grace period) they put a lock on your storage . Most reasonable companies would not do this Until after 30 days. Bad service. I don’t recommend this place or Uhaul in general

I originally had a reservation 9 miles away. Barbara (manager of 3435 Phillips hwy) then called to tell me my truck was at 5390 Phillips hwy a store 2 miles away, which is no problem. I went there and they said no, it was back at the original store at 3435 Phillips hwy. I went back to the original store and they said they didnt have one so they sent me to a store (being surveyed now) thats 9 miles away, and the truck was 17 feet less than I intended. When I arrived I told the manager he did not sympathize with me and he said at least I get the truck and I have to return it back there or he would fine me. Terrible customer service and I will not be going to uhaul again.

I cant even think of a bad thing to say about this place. Manager is one of the coolest cats, and everyone else is just absolutely amazing.

Every time I try to do business with uhaul, it ends in disappointment. Today, I called around 11 am to reserve a truck. The guy at the custover service desk stated I didnt have to reserve the truck just come in and he will help me out. I explained that I will have to come in during lunch break and he said no problem he can help me out with a one way truck. I asked if he is sure I dont have to reserve it to make sure its not taken, he stated he was positive. I explained to him I will be in after 1pm he was no problem. Guess what, there was a big problem. I can in during my lunch break as I told him. He was helping a gentleman which took over an half an hour. I was not greeted not told he will be right back after he left the building and had me waiting there patiently . After he finally got to me, he told me Oh, I thought you were coming right than. I asked him after I said I was coming at 1pm, you thought I was coming right than?. He looked like he didnt now what he was doing and didnt give any apologize for his inconveniences. Do not deal with these people, they will lie straight in your face and then act like its not their problem for you wasting your time and effort trying to bring them your business. This is the storage a always use. Josephine and Tony are great with the customers and helpful at times too.

This place was horrible. The service at the front desk the worse Ive experienced for a U haul place. The girl at the counter who refused to give me her name and whos neck was full of kickeys was very unresponsive to any help we asked for. After making a reservation 3weeks in advance on the day of the move they tell me they dont have the truck I reserved. They make me and my 67yr old mother drive to 2 u haul location one which was under cinstruction and closed and another one that had us wait for an additional 45mins to get a truck. Once we get the truck, one of the employees decided it was a good time to wash the elevator. He washes the elevator, leaves it wet, and then doesnt bother to out any caution sings to indicate that the floor is wet. A dolly full of doxes, a wet floor and a 67yr old women dont mix people. Luckily I was with my mother to break her fall. I would not recommend this place to anyone especially if the managers arent in.
