I called Becks on Friday about what appeared to be a Prop shaft leak for price and time to repair. The Lady on the phone informed me a price that was way lower than everyone else and it would be at least two weeks out for the repair. Then she caught me Way off gaurd when she claimed to know the problem didnt exist and it was from exaust before consulting a tech. The tech whom was her husband gits on phone and instead of making me wait and pay for service two weeks out proceeds to coach me on how to leak check it on my own. All I can say is Becks Outboard inc is LEGIT ! .. The lady on the phone was Exactly Right.. Her husbands instructions were dead bang accurate.. I saved at Least $500 and Two Weeks of headaches. I can be back in the water Today and enjoy life. I wish ALL businesses had their Customer Service and HONESTY ! ..Thank You Mr. and Mrs Becks Outboard !I have Mad Respect for Yall.. I will refer you every time... Thanks Again ! 👍

We are an Evinrude dealer on Vancouver Island in British Columbia. A customer drilled a hole in a late model Power Buss electrical component by accident leaving his boat inoperative. Becks marine showed they had one in stock and kindly shipped a replacement. The unit arrived and was similar unfortunately not the same. After months of working on our boat by ourself, i decided to take it to the shop, and Becks came recommended. After speaking with them for only a few minutes, they knew EXACTLY what was wrong, and solved the issue in only a few hours. I thought i was about to break the bank with such great service, and was more than willing to, until i heard the bill. Im not sure how they made it that low but im not one to complain. Becks outboard has earned a life long customer for sure.

These guys are good, honest and fair priced. If its a Johnson or evinrude you got the best in the business. Just wished they worked on yamaha. From old school to new school outboard s they got it covered.

If you want your outboard in the hands of highly skilled master technicians then Becks is the place. They are listed on the Evinrude website as having master techs and trust me they do. They know Evinrude and Johnson from top to bottom. The first time i used them was to get a second opinion after another shop didnt fix an issue to my standard. After i took it to them they corrected it fast and they did it right the first time. I used them again for another issue with the same results.... As long as i have my Evinrude they will have my business because they are the best at it period......

Absolutely the best outboard repair place around

Becks may be good at what they do, but they dont call when they say they will, and dont give a hoot about customer convenience. I dropped my boat off on a Monday (a holiday), and I specifically said I needed the boat for the next weekend, with a promise Id get a call with an estimate very soon.When no one called me for days, I finally called back on Thursday, first to hear that there were boats in front of me, and then a call from the mechanic saying he could have it repaired by the next day. I SPECIFICALLY SAID I NEEDED IT FOR THE WEEKEND again, and the mechanic said he would do his best...he said nothing about their hours. I called at 4:25 on Friday (because once again, nobody called me), I was told it was done, BUT THAT UNLESS I COULD BE THERE BY 5 I COULDNT PICK IT UP UNTIL MONDAY. When I complained and suggested there must be something we could do, he just said they had had the same hours for 50 years, so they must be doing something right. In other words, tough luck sucker. When I asked how a working man was supposed to pick-up his boat with those hours, he said I guess youll just have to take some time off. I am not happy at all with the lack of consideration or the attitude.
