Jacksonville Boat Sales is personally the best boat dealership that I have ever dealt with. If you’re looking for a place where integrity matters this is the place you want to do business with. My sales person was David Gourley and he was a pleasure to work with. I appreciate salesmen that go above and beyond what is asked for. If you’re looking for for a new or used boat please don’t hesitate to give David a call.
I just purchased a 2005 Trophy Pro. This was a long distance deal as Im up in Ontario Canada, so it was a purchase sight unseen except for photos and discussions with Brian Crane who was my sales person. During the entire process, Brian was always accessible, always had the answers I needed, and went out of his way to facilitate an out-of -country sales that was much more work than a local sale would have been. I had the boat picked up by a transport company, and picked it up yesterday. The boat was beyond the pictures and description from Brian and Jacksonville Boats. It shows like new. If I could give Brian and his team 10 stars, I would . Many Thanks!!!!
We had a GREAT experience at Jacksonville Boat Sales! Phil especially was a pleasure to do business with. He was very knowledgeable and interacted super well with our kids. Our brief conversation with the owner reassured us that we made the perfect choice in giving them our business. We purchased the Robalo 246 Cayman and can’t wait to get on the water! Thanks for the boat experience that we were looking for!
Excellent and knowledgeable sales staff that are not pushy. Very nice to work with.
This is my kids profile, just FYI for the name... In these COVID times it is nearly impossible to find a boat quickly, new or used. I needed a used one for budgetary reasons.Brett Cannon at Jacksonville Boat Sales was the 1st place I stopped. He had been recommended to me by local celebrity and good friend of mine, Cpt. Kevin Faver. Kevin is a good old boy and would never steer you wrong. This was 2009 and I met Brett. He had a couple boats at the other place he owns, Atlantic Coast Marine. I had a budget then too. One boat that I figured would work, he told me he wouldnt sell it to me. Very odd, I thought. She was in rough shape.Instead, he had me refigure my budget and got me into a 1998, 19 Hewes Redfisher powered by a 175 hp Yamaha for just a couple grand more. It was the absolute best fishing boat ever. Everytime I launched her and when Johnny Law stopped me, people were just fascinated by her. I was one proud boat owner until a divorce happened.I wasnt great to her, but she cared for me and I miss her to this day. The boat, I mean. I could sell her today for what I paid, near about, given COVID inflation on mens outdoor toys.Well, this is why he was my first stop. Had I not been so anxious, I would have waited for a trade in he was expecting. Instead, I looked all over Duval, St. Johns and Clay Counties. No boats. I even had a boat broker looking.Lo and behold, David Gourley became my salesman, who works for Brett, and he called me they got the trade-in, a 20 2003 Edgewater center console with a 150hp Yamaha. I wasnt sure what I needed, like before, and Jacksonville Boat Sales/Atlantic Coast Marine came thru again. My kids are now 11 and 16, so tubing is a must and they need to start fishing. The boat is perfect and they made sure it was. They will not take trades that do not meet their high standards. They said it wasnt coming with electronics, but then put brand new Garmin equipment on her. They are laid back, but know everything they need to in order to get you in the right boat based on budget and what you want her to do for you. They are quick to tell you they dont know something in the rare event you have a question they cant answer right away. David Gourley and another sakes guy Jason will also entertain you if you have a sense of humor.Great guys, honest and make the purchase a fun experience as it should be! I will NEVER look anywhere else as once my babies leave the nest, I am headed back there for another Hewes flats boat. They are all so down to earth, confident but not arrogant. You can depend on them and they did not gouge me like they could have in these economic conditions. Integrity means the world to me, and they have it in spades! I am picking up my new baby today!!!Never a moments trouble with my Hewes, and I expect the same out of my Edgewater. Go somewhere else if you want, but Jacksonville Boat Sales takes the, Am I getting scammed? question out of the equation!! Best of luck and Ill see you on the water.James
Purchased a 226 Cayman this year and I could not be happier with my purchase decision. I have owned several boats from offshore center consoles to fly bridge cruisers and I have enjoyed the cayman more than any boat I’ve owned in the past. The boat is extremely versatile. In shore fishing, near shore and family cruising. The people at Jax Boat sales have been great to work with and the great people at Atlantic Coast to provide service when needed is a awesome combination. Thank you Phil for making the sales process fun and pressure free.
My wife and I recently stopped at this dealer, to check if they had any inventory of any used boat that met the criteria of what we were looking for. While they did not have what we wanted, they were very accommodating and welcoming, spent the time to discuss options regarding used and new. We were given undivided attention even though it was quickly realized that we wont be buying a boat from them. They were not pushy whatsoever. If one day we become fortunate enough to be able to afford a new boat, well definitely stop by this dealer first. Thank you.
I was contacted via email by Brian after building our boat on the Robalo website. He mentioned he had inventory that closely matched the online build. We met and after looking over our options, we found the perfect Robalo to fit our needs. Brian was extremely helpful getting us a great price without the additional extra fees some dealers charge.I have and will continue to highly recommend Jacksonville Boat Sales to family and friends.
We had an absolutely wonderful experience buying our 2020 Robalo 247 from Jacksonville Boat Sales. Phil was fantastic. He was very informative, patient and flexible to our needs and the whole team went the extra mile to ensure we had our boat in time for a big Christmas surprise!
You should not do business with this company! ** Youve been warned ** They had me drive all way from Atlanta to Jacksonville to purchase this 2007 Regal 2400 which was in terrible shape. They have 229 hours listed on the advertisement but when I show up the meter is broken. The oil dip stick was full of metal shavings & the toilet wasnt cleaned out. Every piece of fabric was torn. The gel coat was all scratched up and several cushions were torn. As you can see in the picture of our chat conversation I asked if there was anything wrong with the boat and clearly he lied.
Purchased a 2019 Robalo 246 Cayman from Kyle Walker and couldn’t more pleased with the experience. No hassle, no pressure sales and excellent communication and follow up. Kyle responds quickly to messages and ensures satisfaction during AND after the sales process. I highly recommend Kyle and Jacksonville Boat Sales. I love my new boat, thanks!!!!
These guys go out of their way to make sure youre happy. Chuck does everything he can to make sure you get the boat you want. They are easy to deal with and keep you informed through the process. If you are looking for a boat give these guys a chance. You wont regret it.
Jacksonville Boat Sales made my first boat purchase a breeze. Their knowledge and insight helped me find the perfect boat. The team at Jacksonville Boat Sales - Brett, Camp, and Kyle - were sure I had everything to go out on the water with confidence, including all the right equipment. I feel that the customer service had my best interest at heart, and went far above and beyond to make sure my boating experience was a dream come true.
Bought a 2019 Robalo 272 from Phil and couldn’t be happier with the support delivered after the sale. There were some warranty issues, that happen with a first year model boat. Both Jax Boat Sales and Robalo took care of everything promptly and professionally.
In all of my 49 years I have never encountered such ineptness in any business I have dealt with as much as this place. If you have any other place from which to buy a boat, please run to them and avoid this place. You will save yourself months of headaches. I literally have never written a review of anything in my life but felt compelled to let the public know so hopefully nobody else will have to feel the sheer frustration and anger I feel every time I deal with these people.
Walked in to inquire about purchasing a boat. Didn’t get acknowledged or told well help you in a moment. Maybe since I have a tattoo and my boyfriend didn’t have on lil preppy boy shorts we don’t need to be treated the same way as the other customers. On to another dealer.
Your mileage may vary... here is my story with Jacksonville Boats Sales.I am in the near retirement stage of life and I have been researching boats for years. I have zeroed in on a Robalo 246 Cayman. I have crawled all over them at boat shows and at Jacksonville Boat Sales for the last 3 years when in Jacksonville -- I live in Virginia and will be moving next summer --- so, I will be buying a boat in the late spring/early summer. Over the Holidays I called JBS to set up a sea trial. They couldnt accommodate me on short notice before I had to return to Virginia (thats my fault), but I told them I was returning to Jacksonville on the MLK holiday weekend and had a window on opportunity on Monday, MLK Day. They did not have a 246 Cayman in stock, but they had a 2018 Cayman that the owner would let them use for a sea trail. Since the hulls are all the same, I was fine with the arrangement. After not hearing back from JBS, I called them 10 days out to remind them about the sea trial. Five days before the sea trial the JBS person I was dealing called me to let me know that the weather forecast was not too good -- highs in the low fifties and some wind. I told him that that I still wanted to have the sea trial and a little wind is good to test the overall ride in a little chop. I told him that if it was really bad we could cancel the evening before or the morning of the sea trial. On MLK day my wife and I arrive 10 minutes before the appointment. The JBS staff member greets us and says its is cold (43F)... clearly implying he didnt want to go. Then he tells us he didnt have a key to the boat we were told that would be used for the sea trial. Then the JBS folks offer up looking at a 246 Cayman SkyDeck at another affiliated store. They didnt want to sea trial that boat because they were too busy getting ready for a boat show. Since I have already crawled all over the boat before my only objective was to sea trial the boat before I would consider placing an order for one.Clearly annoyed, we left after thanking them for their time. I am now in the airport on my way back to Virginia. No follow up calls to apologize or offer another time for a sea trial. I probably wont get back to Jax until June. There are lots of Robalo dealers who would like to sell a $90,000 boat... just disappointed that the closest dealer to my new home didnt show much interest in selling me a boat and more import they wasted my time.------------------------------------------------Epilogue -- JBS called me the next day after seeing this review to apologize. They offered a sea trial next time I was in Jacksonville. I changed my rating from one to three stars.
Terry, the sales guy is very nice. Good options
