I’m not sure exactly who ringed me up, but my receipt said the employee was Adriana. She was so friendly and so kind to let me know a sheet mask I selected was on BOGO sale! Loved how she was so nice and not condescending at all. Sometimes employees at other stores grumble or are a bit mean when you need to run back to grab another product, but not here.I felt comfortable to shop at my own pace without pushy workers hovering around.On top of great staff, the store is well organized, well lit, spacious, easy to browse, great selection and often has fun sales! I also love how you also get a free sample of a different product with your purchase.

Nothing natural about my experience at this location . Manager Alma was beyond unprofessional and simply disrespectful and rude.Went in for a return with an unopened and unused item literally in the same form I purchased the item. Alma refused to return the unused brow pencil Accusing me of “tampering with the package”I Proceeded to inform her that on the receipt It didn’t state that the if the packaging is tampered with - it couldn’t be returned. Alma then said and I quote “ it’s common sense that she couldn’t resell it with a state the packaging was in”I and then asked Alma not to insult my intelligence that the packaging was in the same condition it was when I purchased it .Alma rolled her eyes at me and said I “highly doubt that”My husband then went to check other packaging on the floor and found two additional ones that look just like the one I was returning and we asked to speak to a manager.It turns out the manager there is Alma!!I was very surprised that such rude and unprofessional person would be a manager.I understand everybody has bad days however any kind of disrespect when you’re working in customer service is never acceptable. Due to my experience at this location I will never be shopping at nature Republic again. Nor I will recommend anyone to the store.I asked to speak to the owner and I had asked Alma three times to speak to the owner she continued to argue with me and Said I could deal with her even though I was requesting to speak to the owner she then stated that the owner does not go to this location ever I then began recording her erratic behavior And she changed her tune for the camera right before she rolled her neck and stated “I DONT CARE” when I told her she wasn’t going to have a job if she kept treating people the way she’s treating me. I have never been treated so unfairly or other customers or a palled that her behavior a married couple walked up to me and agreed that her behavior was out of line!Several other customers that witnessed the altercation also left the store.I’m sure you’ll lose much more business than you did that day as long as Alma continues to be the manager and treating customers the way she treated me And being allowed to continue to get away with that type of management style

I am an employee at Nature Republic and was present during the incident which the last reviewer, Maggie Montelongo, described.Maggie, a customer, came in asking to return a product that she claimed was unused, however, the packaging had noticeably suffered water damage. When asked about the condition of the package, the customer replied a little water got on it and demanded a return. The manager then politely interjected that because the packaging was so noticeably damaged, we would not be able to accept the return as we could not resell the product, which adhered to the businesss return policy that states a product may be returned within 15 days if it is both unopened and unused. The customer then replied, your return policy says nothing about damaged packaging, and the manager stated well it is common sense that we wont be able to sell the product if the packaging is damaged. The customer yelled at the manager for insulting her intelligence and demanded to speak immediately with the owner of the store, repeatedly threatening that after this the manager would have no job.When the manager went to the back to contact the owner, the customer caused a scene, cursing loudly and calling the manager names which I will not repeat here in front of the other customers in the store. She began to record on her phone the surroundings without any concern over whether she was recording anyone without their permission. The manager then returned and initiated the return, during which the customer again threatened her job and recorded her the entire time, despite the manager asking her not to.In my perspective, the manager was as respectful as she could be while the customer was blatantly threatening her to her face. The customers cursing, threats, and recording made those in the store, including myself, uncomfortable, and since then her husband has been calling the store multiple times a day, recording and threatening the employees who answer the phone.As an employee at Nature Republic, I have done my utmost to ensure every customer is treated kindly and respectfully, and the manager is truly the person who embodies this attitude best. It was incredibly hard for me to bite my tongue when she was being harassed by this customer. I am writing this review to counter the mistruths found in Maggies statement and hopefully add more context to this situation that was very wrongly described.
