My best friend and I are on vacation in San Diego and kicked off our week by visiting the Lip Lab. SUCH A GREAT START TO OUR VACATION!!! We spent our time with Aileen and she made this such an awesome experience! She was fun, personable, professional, and was a master at creating amazing colors. She listened to what we asked for and nailed each color on the first try! I came in fully intending to purchase ONE color but had to purchase THREE because Aillen is just that good! This is an experience that every makeup lover should have and you should do it in Irvine, CA with Aileen! In a time where staffing is a huge issue, great customer service can be hard to come by. Aileen gave me hope that it still exists! Check them out NOW!

This was an awesome experience! If you love lipstick, this is definitely something that you should do. Best Friend and I came to San Diego for vacation and we drove to Irvine to visit The Lip Lab to make our very own custom made lipsticks. It was soooo worth it! We had so much fun. We received excellent customer service from Aileen. She was AMAZING! Aileen was very nice, friendly, helpful & patient. She listened to us and made this process so much fun!! Drove out of my way 45 minutes to come have an experience here. My impression was that it was going to be a collaborative effort to create a lipstick that I wanted. I wanted to see which colors were options to choose from, and I was told no. I asked if I can have more white added to my lipstick and I was told no. They were out of the two flavors I wanted in my lipstick, mint and vanilla. I felt as though the whole experience was incredibly rushed, and I left feeling like I had completely wasted my $60 and instantly had buyers remorse. Oh well. I guess I know now. 😔

10 stars to Sara! This was a 1st time visit for my friends birthday. Sara made great suggestions and made us feel very welcomed. I walked out looking like a brand new person. The color suggestion was nothing that Id ever considered in my MANY years. I appreciate that Sara got me out of my box. My new shade compliments my burgandy eye glasses. Sara was able to create 2 new colors for my friend again colors that shed never thought of trying before and they absolutely work!! We will definitely be doing a reorder when the time comes.

Aileen took wonderful care of my wife. I brought her here to create custom lipstick shades for our anniversary and the experience was above and beyond expectation.

Super cute girls day. The experience was very intriguing. However my lip name was spelled wrong. I looked on my sheet to make sure I didnt spell it wrong & nope.. I still know how to spell my name. I keep calling to see how we can resolve the matter However all I get is a voice mail & no call back.

Aileen did an amazing job, she exactly understood what I was asking for. She had such a great understanding of undertones that I ended up with 2 new lipstick shades. 10/10 will be ordering these shades and having them shipped to Texas in the future!

Honestly, it would get 5 stars, but its a bit pricey, so yeah. Other than that, the experience was great. We were in a bit of a rush, so I couldnt pick out my second color. I would love to come back and make another signature shade.

My fiancé and I were having a date at the Irvine spectrum and we spotted this place. I have been having a hard time finding my dream shade of lipstick for our upcoming wedding so this place seemed perfect. They create custom lipsticks for you, you can also name it and have the name engraved on the cap.The associate who assisted us was so welcoming and was able to explain the process clearly and made it a fun experience. The store inside is very stylish and incredibly clean. You are provided with disposable sticks and make up remover wipes as you try on the lipstick. The associates are clearly experts and really work with you to find your dream shade.The lipstick is more expensive than average of course but it’s custom and it beats buying multiple lipsticks that end up disappointing!

We went in with an appointment that was supposed to be an hour and a half, but was only given thirty minutes because Chu Chu claimed that was the length of the appointment is 30 minutes and rest of the time would be spent creating the lipsticks.No customers were before us or after us in the store.Our promo code was not honored and we were rushed to “commit to a color” despite saying that we did not like the hue. No suggestions were given in how the hue could be changed to be more flattering, just rushed.l throughout the entire process.

5/5 stars! I was so happy with my experience at the BITE Lip Lab in the Irvine Spectrum! The lab took excellent safety measures and made me feel super comfortable during the whole experience. Anh was my Lip Lab Expert and she helped me create my perfect nude shade. She listened to exactly what I wanted to help me produce a pinky, mauvey, darkish nude that made my teeth look white. The entire staff was super sweet and helpful. Anh was super knowledgeable about the process of making lipstick and it was fascinating to watch her create my perfect shade. I got to choose my shade color, finish, and fragrance. I went for a demi-matte / vanilla and am so pleased with the result. I was also able to use a coupon code (LIPLAB15) that got me 15% off and made the price more reasonable ($54 instead of $64). One thing I thought was super awesome was that BITE saved my special shade combination in their database, so when I run out of my lipstick I can come back and they can recreate my perfect shade for me again! They use a specific ratio of colors to create it, so they took note of that ratio (x grams of Cashew color, and x grams of Violet color). I definitely want to come back here and make another shade soon. It was such a special and fun experience, I cant wait to go back and hope every makeup lover gets to try it!

Bianca was a sweetheart and Ahn was amazing. . It was my birthday and my best friend surprised me with this experience. I wanted to try a new color and something out of my usual pinks and reds. Ahn made sure I got the perfect shade of blue!

I had booked an appointment for my Mom and sister, I was so sad I wasn’t able to join them during this experience but I’m so glad they came back really happy with their experience! Thank you ChuChu for helping them find their perfect lipstick shade! I would definitely like to rebook and host a party at this location!

Really happy with my lipstick shades!! Also experimented with some reds and my nude was so natural looking. I can see myself wearing it all the time!Chu Chu was so helpful, she is an absolute PRO. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER. She loves a challenge and Id trust in her opinion and expertise in guiding a shade for you. I had no idea what I wanted but she helped me a lot.

Twilight was awesome! We only took 2 tries to get my perfect skintone nude lip color. Despite having to wear masks, the experience was fun, easy, and I was able to take my lipstick home asap.

I’ve never actually won the lottery, but I hope it feels something like this 😂😂😂 Luckily it wasn’t very busy and I got the store manager Crystal. She took it as a personal challenge to get the EXACT shade and it took over an hour, but we did it 🥰😂🤷🏻‍♀️💋

I was so excited to learn that the Bite Beauty Lip Labs was coming to my area. Making a custom lipstick has been on my wish list for years! The experience did not disappoint. Anh helped me recreate a long discontinued lip color. The entire process of creating the lipstick was fascinating. I’m so pleased with the lipstick we created and will definitely return for more. You can even host parties at this store - fun!

Interesting concept. A little overpriced.

One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. The specialist name is Kelly I think. She keeps talking a lot for a reason and non reason. Also she, she keeps saying they have a party, then she says I don’t mean to be hurry just to let you know. I paid for one lipstick around $ 60, which is too pricey and not cheap. In my opinion SEPHORA lipstick much better and cheaper less than $20. I supposed to enjoy my experience, unfortunately I didn’t. The texture of the lipstick supposed to be matte, however it’s not at all at more satin. She send me the receipt, but She didn’t send my sister one! She bought two lipstick.The engraving she keeps making mistakes twice SERIOUSLY!!If you want people to enjoy their experience YOU SHOULD GIVE THEM THEIR (TIME). I couldn’t take a photos!! And a professional employees. If I could give a rate less than ZERO I would. I don’t recommend this place to anyone even my “ enemy”.So here is an updated review,The store manager “Mary” called me and asked me about my experience. I explained everything and she listened to me and apologized. Also she asked me to repeat the experience with her for FREE. I was so excited . Mary is so kind and patient. Chuchu gave me an amazing experience. I was a bit 🥴 about trying it out cause I’m very picky, but she was patient and kind. She went along with what I was saying and Comfortably gave suggestions as well. The surrounding staff were also very welcoming. As you walk in you hear them all greeting you in unison.I’d definitely come back here and y’all need to jump on their lip masks ‼️

I took my friend for a birthday surprise and had such a great time making our own lipsticks! Shoutout to our specialist Micaela who was so nice and patience while we tried to make our perfect color! Both my friend and I were soo pleased with our lipsticks!

Deirdra was very welcoming and helpful. She was super good at creating the perfect nude shade that I wanted and got mine right on the first try! She was happy to adjust my friends shade and make it a bit dark. Overall it was a fun experience!

I was super excited to come here since I know they have a location in LA. I walked in and wasn’t greeted at all or helped. Was in the store for about 15 minutes. Don’t go here or you’ll feel uncomfortable
